Lovebites is formed organically and the ladies CHOSE to be in white themselves. They have mentioned they want to project a contrast to the stereotypical black-attired, dark, tattooed, depressing, dystopian, mostly men in the metal genre. This is also the reason why a lot of this band's lyrics (mostly written by the main vocalist) are positive and uplifting, despite the music being metal. Another rationale as to why they are in white is because the ladies are small in stature and they stand out much better in white when they are on stage. Hence, it's not because they are being so-called "marketed" as such
💯
Some folks have already mentioned their small stature, here's their actual heights:
Asami (singer) - 147 cm (4'10")
Haruna (drummer) - 146 cm (4'9")
Midori (blonde guitarist) - 150 cm (4'11")
Miyako (dark haired guitarist & pianist) - 159.5 cm (5'2")
Miho (old bassist, seen in this video) - 150 cm (4'11")
Fami (new bassist, as of 2022) - 160 cm (5'2")
Miho & Haruna started this band, and Miho has stated in the past that it was her idea to have them dress all in white, because she thought that they would be hard to see on a darkened stage if they were in the "traditional" black that metal performers usually wear. She also said that because of the white, they can use different color stage lights to change their appearance to generate different "moods". Sure it's part of their marketing, but how does any band/performer get anywhere without purposely thinking about their marketing. I'm sorry, but your tone made it seem like "marketing" is a bad thing? Or are you just saying you feel that wearing white dresses does not match the music genre? If it's the latter, then yeah... a lot of people have said that. If you continue to watch a couple more songs by them, I'm pretty sure that their musicality will have you forget about that. 😃
As part of their "marketing", they write almost all their songs and nearly all of them are completely in English.
@ IIRC Miho is 5'1" (155 cm)
@rainerzufall42 whoops! You're right! I need new glasses!
When LOVEBITES debuted (2016-2018), there were many negative comments about their style of wearing white clothes and high heels. Some people even said, "This style is blasphemous to metal," "I don't recognize them as a metal band," and "They use sexiness as a weapon to pander to the audience." However, nowadays, those who shun LOVEBITES' style are in the minority.
When rock music was born and reached its golden age, many of the great bands of the time wore black clothes, chains, tattoos, and growling sounds. As a result, it can be said that a stereotype was formed that such a dark image is the basic style of metal.
However, the essence of rock/metal is to aim for free music/free style, and I think that the image of LOVEBITES, who play the music they like in the clothes they like, is at the origin of rock.

LOVEBITES - Holy War lyrics & credits:
Look at those black clouds, it’s going to rain blood
People live in fear, covered in mud
Singing oh Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters
There is a thousand, a thousand of evils
Hush, do not wake up Satan’s devils
Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for brothers
Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and all for one forevermore
SOLO: midori
Kingdom of Heaven, never shall we fall
Reincarnation, wait for your call
Singing oh, Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters
Morning star and dying moon
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Mighty soul, let there be hope
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
Stand up in the name of the God of heavy metal
What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight?
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for
Only have one thing on our mind
Facing the fate, holy war
SOLO: miyako / midori / both
Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for brothers
Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and all for one forevermore
What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight?
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for
Only have one thing on our mind
Facing the fate, holy war

You can be sure that they love what they are doing. They write nearly all of their songs by themselves (Miyako the dark-haired guitarist composes the music, Asami the singer writes the lyrics). Watch e.g. "Raise some hell" live Tokyo 2020, there you can see it, it is great fun to watch them there (English subtitles would be good, Asami's English has a strong Japanese accent). These five highly talented ladies play Power/Thrash/Speed and other kinds of metal but also beautiful ballads on a very high level. Miyako also is a virtuoso piano player (watch "Swan Song" with the Chopin Intro), Asami comes from the R&B, Soul, Gospel music and also is a trained ballerina (you can see this in her movements). There is a good reason for this kind of clothes; Asami explained it in an interview: "We are women and do not want to dress like men". They also want to show that metal must not be always dark and brutal, they "fight for a positive kind of heavy metal". Their lyrics are mostly positive and uplifting. Also they all are very small (Haruna the drummer is 1,46 m high) and in these white dresses the audience can see them better.
Miho wrote quite a few of Lovebites' songs and created a real void when she left, so Miyako has had to focus more on composition along with Mao.
Don't Bite the Dust, M.D.O., Thunder Vengence, The Apocalypse, Golden Destination, The Crusade all by Miho.
@@HowardGraves-e4kDon’t forget that also Asami writes some of their songs. She started with „Epilogue“ and „A Frozen Serenade“ and ended up to „Dissonance“ and „Where is Identity“
Hasn't Midori and Haruna also composed a couple of Lovebites songs too?
Each of them are talented in multiple ways. For example, I recently learned that Midori received a degree in constructing guitars and has one of hers on display somewhere.
@@HowardGraves-e4k "Crusade? No, sorry... Miho just wrote the lyrics... The music is by Miyako. Brush up on your "classics"!
Jeans and black leather has become a metal cliché, so isn't it refreshing that a band foregoes that? You could view it as their take on embracing their femininity. Nobody forced them to do that (the white outfits were Miho's idea, the bassist in this performance), and everyone, really everyone is marketed in some way in the music business, but they do it themselves.
Metal is always about show and performance, even with the bands that dress more traditionally "metal". And of course they also don't wear leather and chains when gardening or going shopping with the wife; the badass look is just another stage outfit.
BTW, there are also cultural differences involved if you look at other female Japanese hard rock and metal bands. While some of them do embrace the traditional metal look (Hades, Lipstick, Whiskey Dust), most of them are very eclectic (Nemophila, Hanabie) or have a theme going (Lovebites, Band-Maid, Hagane). That is more accepted in Japan because of the desire to look "cute", and there is even some parody involved (as with Band-Maid's maid costumes). I for one welcome that kind of variety. Actually Japan, often called conformist, is more daring and nonconformist here than Western metal tradition.
I mean a classical violinist practicing at home doesn't need to don a tux and bow tie to really be a classical violinist, does he?
Well said
The white dresses and high heels are their battle uniform.Who said that metal can only be made in black leather? In fact,LOVEBITES is acutely better than most metal bands out there. LOVEBITES won the top spot in the Power Metal category of the METAL AWARDS 2024 with an overwhelming 53% of the votes (2nd place Kamelot, 3rd place Power wolf). This is a great honor and shows that they have been recognized worldwide.
congratulations, you have just discovered the best band on the planet ! 😀
metal + grace + elegance + beauty + sympathy + great musicians + great songs = LOVEBITES !!!
Miho the bassist and Haruna the drummer were in a previous metal band and then decided to start LOVEBITES. The 2 guitarists Midori and Miyako were also previously in metal bands. However, Asami the singer was actually an RnB singer previously so she wasn't into metal before the band. This genuinely is their kind of music though, for the 4 instrumentalists for a long time, and for Asami the singer, she has taken to it but didn't really know much about metal before the band auditioned her as a singer. To get this good at playing this style of music I don't think it would be very easy to get there without liking the style, eg the guitar shredding and drumming ability, though maybe it's possible.
They have explained their style of dress as being due to all being small and wanting to stand out on stage, loving metal but not wanting to have to lose the feminine image they all like to have, and that they wanted a contrasting lighter image with more uplifting presence and sound. That said absolutely I am sure it's partly about marketing. However, they have control of the band so it's their own decision as opposed to a record labels or something like that.
Miyako, the dark haired guitarist, is also an incredible piano player and composes about half their music. The other half is composed by other band members and a composer they work with. Miyako releases videos sometimes showing which software and process she uses for composition.
They are basically a modernised more technical version of bands like Iron Maiden, Helloween etc, though they play in a few more metal subgenres than some of those older similar types of bands.
If you are generally not a fan of say power metal, thrash metal etc then it might just not be a style of music you enjoy. However if you do sometimes like those kinds of genres then either you might have been a bit distracted by their appearance, or they are just not a band that hits it for you.
If you do sometimes like those subgenres, or if you like metal ballads, then it might well be worth checking out another.
Some reactors can be thrown by their appearance, usually positively, sometimes negatively. Seems to me you liked their appearance, but it gave you concerns about authenticity of the group. So yes, they are an authentic group that grew naturally out of older metal bands.
Miyako is also a tech nerd/geek. On her channel, she not only goes into how she composes music, but also each of her guitars and how she chose them and usually customizes them. She is very stoic on stage (usually a lot of people will say she looks bored), but she's actually an introvert and is a very focused performer (some of that is probably because she has been playing classical piano since she was 3 yrs old and if you watch any classical pianist, they are almost all very composed & focused). It's actually kind of fun to watch how animated she gets when she talks about guitars and her gear. She's also a huge Star Wars fan. 😄
@@mezacharia Didn't know the Star Wars bit, and I hadn't made the possible Piano player / stoic stage persona connection!
However when I saw them in London I picked up on the gear geek part and got some "band mother" vibes as she was the one coming out to double check the setup and all the gear thoroughly. I get the feeling even with techs there she would likely be trying to solve problems anyway :D
To give you an idea of what you just heard, on January 7, 2025, LOVEBITES won the Power Metal Band 2024 Metal Award. They beat out about 40 nominees for the award, including some pretty famous bands with worldwide renown.
They've make more than 50% and the second only 7.6% . Those tiny womens kickass.
Welcome to LOVEBITES 🤘🏼🐺🔥
Here some information about my favorite band:
LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by original bassist Miho and drummer Haruna. Their first EP and album both were released in 2017. So far the band has already released 4 full length studio albums, 4 EPs, a best of compilation and a bunch of live albums, available on CD/DVD/Blu-ray.
In 2018 LOVEBITES won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band.
LOVEBITES have toured in Europe back in 2018/2019 and also in 2024. This also includes appearances at most European major metal festivals such as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop, Resurrection Fest and Hellfest.
They also played their first US shows last year in September.
In 2021 the band went into a hiatus, because founder and bassist Miho quit the band for personal reasons. During the break also two babies were born. LOVEBITES came back in October 2022 with new bassist Fami and a few months later with new album „Judgement Day“. Their newest release is „LOVEBITES EP II“ with 5 amazing new songs.
The band members of LOVEBITES are (including their official nicknames)
Asami on vocals (the one and only voice):
She has an amazing vocal range and vibrato, writes most of the lyrics, also did parts of the song writing for their latest 2 albums, she is a former ballerina and RnB/soul singer
Miyako on guitars, piano, keyboards (the golden touch):
She is the musical brain of the band, main composer and arranger, a soulful but also shreddy guitar player and concert level pianist, furthermore she is a gear nerd
Midori on guitars (crazy shredder):
Incredibly fast and technical guitar player, has contributed to songwriting for a few of their songs, also she is a body fitness athlete
Haruna on drums (little big engine):
Plays very fast pace over long distances, she is very efficient and her stamina is admirable, the cymbal work is outstanding, she also wrote one of their songs including lyrics, creates handmade miniature fake food
Fami on bass since 2022 (shining fingers):
Absolute bass prodigy with outstanding technique, she speaks faster than sonic speed as she plays and smiles non-stop
Miho on bass until 2021 (natural born headbanger):
We will never forget her, she is a great bass player, she wrote several of the songs for the band’s albums 1-3
Added Note: The band members chose their own nicknames.
This group is amazing. They certainly have a lot of energy.its rare to see a girl drummer. She's really good.❤ thanks Jenn.
Maybe something slower, more melodic will be more up your alley? There's plenty to choose from.
Frozen Serenade
Edge of the World
Empty Daydream
Epilogue
Among the most popular ones.
Anyway, LOVEBITES are about as organic and honest metal as you can get these days. No artificially engineered idol group. No marketing, nothing false or pretentious. I can guarantee that much. If you do some research on them, it will immediately become blatantly obvious.
The drummer is a Helloween fan. Miyako, the guitarist, a fan of Meshugah, Midori, the other guitarist, a fan of Angra, and Miho, the bassist, a fan of Iron Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Slayer and just about every heavy metal band ever to exist. In fact Miho has a huge collection of heavy metal band shirts. Only Asami, the vocalist, did not have a background in metal before joining the band.
The best way to believe Lovebites is to see them playing live.
There is no way they would have learned to play the guitar like that if they weren't really into the music !
... starting at the age of 18/19 and 20, respectively.
I seen them in Edinburgh and Newcastle UK on tour with Dragon Force back in 2019 it was awesome rumor has it the drums and guitars have to go for therapy after every gig. Also the other side of the girls LOVEBITES / Edge of the World [Official Live Video ua-cam.com/video/jQKf8Dy_chA/v-deo.html
Only the vocalist wasn't originally a heavy metal fan. They all love heavy metal now and nothing is forced. They chose to dress this way because they are women and want to be feminine and look nice. They intentionally chose not to wear black the traditional color of heavy metal bands. This is what makes them unique and to stand out.
Without a doubt, their sound is “real”.
If you are not familiar with them, you may think that they are commercial imitations selling cuteness, because their clothes are certainly not heavy metal-like.
However, in my opinion, they dared not to look like that with their clothes, but rather dressed in opposite clothes and challenged the HM world with their sound as a lone wolf, regardless of their appearance.
Many enthusiastic fans of LOVEBITES, including myself, do not care what they wear and love their music regardless of whether they are male or female.
Of course, it is true that some of their songs are great songs that can only be performed by women.
Maybe Dragonforce could perform their songs: ua-cam.com/video/mWVwdGi9ixI/v-deo.html
Welcome to the World of LOVEBITES !!! 💯👍👍👍
To use your words, you're doing them a disservice. 😉 They're thoroughly organic in what they do, but if you're put off, try out the official music video (not live) for Stand and Deliver (Shoot 'Em Down). They're dressed casually, and it's a bit different sounding (albeit still the metal they love).
Every one has their own taste. Couple of things they are definitely metal heads and their discography proves that. They are organically formed, this is not a manufactured band. They are all very short in height and the white dresses helps to make them stand out on stage. I had the pleasure of seeing them live last year in a tiny little venue in London and the way they interacted with the audience is second to non. These ladies put on a great show and they have so much fun doing it. Please don't give up on them they need all the help they can get and in my opinion they are the best metal band to come along in decades
I was there right if front of Asami in Miyako just to the left. I was so close to Asamai IO could have shook hands with her. What a tremendous frontwoman, full of charisma and controlling the crowd, not to mention her tremendous vocals
Welcome to Lovebites! My favorite band in the world! ❤ Asami has an R&B background, so while they play heavy metal, they have some amazing pieces where Miyako will play piano (she’s trained as a classical pianist since the age of 3), and where Asami’s R&B background really shines. They play different genre of metal, and have a few ballad-like songs. I suggest the “E” songs if you’d like to hear another side of them, Edge of the World for example.
Asami also trained/performed classical ballet from the age of 2 until about 18. (I think she was told that she was too small to go any further.) She then moved to the US to study jazz and hip-hop dance, then moved back to Japan and was a back-up vocalist for various Japanese top artists, until she was recruited by Lovebites.
LOVEBITES is a five-member all-female, Japanese heavy metal band with deep musicianship (plus classical music/piano background). They transcend gender, genre, and geography, with some 65+ songs in their discography. They won Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for Best New Band (2018), toured with Dragonforce (2019), first female Japanese band to perform at Wacken Open Air (Germany) and others in Europe, and are unusual among Japanese bands in choosing to sing in English plus good lyrics (a daunting task for native Japanese speakers). They play a variety of heavy metal styles and are heavily influenced by NWBHM, especially Iron Maiden and the "big four" thrash metal bands. Their live performances are best:

It is so boring the usual useless discussion on how the ladies are dressed ... how sadness... Lovebites are precisely the opposite of marketing
welcome to LOVEBITES, they play heavy metal and they play it damn good, these Ladies are friggin amazing, pick a song, any song as there are no bad songs, great music, great lyrics, videos are great but LIVE is even better, so come down the rabbit hole that is LOVEBITES, it's a great journey, Luv these Ladies
Welcome to Lovebites, the Wolfpack 🐺 Lovebites fans around the world, will be along to give you information and recommendations.
Lovebites are a Japanese heavy metal band, formed in 2016 by Miho, Bass, who was previously in the band DESTROSE that broke up in 2015. They take much of their influence from the 1970's and 80's British and European bands such as Iron Maiden and Judas Priest. Miho left the band in 2021 for personal reasons and is currently pursuing new projects.
Any Lovebites video recorded in 2021 or earlier, the bassist will be Miho (ESP Bass), any from 2022 or later, it is Fami (Bacchus Bass, usually a 5 string)
The Ladies always wear white and gold outfits on stage. Asami, interviewed by a French music magazine in 2018 said about it, "We're girls, we don't want to dress like boys. Also we are all small, and the white and gold makes us easier to see on stage". And small they are. Their height goes from 1.45 meters for Haruna, drums, to 1.57 for new bassist Fami, Miyako being slightly shorter and Asami and Midori, and founder/previous bassist Miho all around 1.47 to 1.5 meters.
The present members are,
Asami, Vocals and Piano. She trained in Ballet Dancing and before Lovebites was a R&B singer. She writes many of the lyrics and sings in English, not easy for a native Japanese speaker.
Midori, (Midori Tatematsu) ESP Guitars. The blond 'Amazon Warrior'. Before Lovebites a member of all female band GEKIJO METALICCHE.
Miyako, ( Watanabe Miyako, also been known as Mi Ya) Dean and Gibson Guitars, Piano and Keyboards. The 'serious' one with long black hair. Before Lovebites a member of the bands DROP OF JOKER, 21g and SONIC LOVER RECKLESS. She is a classically trained pianist who writes much of the music, often incorporating classical themes into her compositions. She has a 3 part series on her YT channel 'MIYAKO OFFICIAL' about the process she uses to compose new music in her home studio. She has an EP of some classic heavy metal songs transcribed and played on piano as though they are classical works. They can also be found on her UA-cam channel 'MIYAKO TOPIC'. It would be accurate to think of her as a classical pianist who also plays guitar in a heavy metal band. A remarkable young woman.
Both Guitarists play lead, seamlessly swapping lead and rhythm as required. They play wonderful harmonised dual solos.
Fami, Bacchus Bass. Recruited as replacement for Miho in late 2022 when she was 20 years old and still at university. She has her own YT channel that has nearly 700,000 subs. Check out her 'Alien Alien' Slap Bass cover from when she was in her teens.
Haruna, Drums. The 'Little BIG Engine'. a tiny lady, 1.45 meters tall, who is the power house that drives the band. Before Lovebites she had been in Destrose, Miho's former band, and was the first to join her in the new band. She plays powerfully, fast and precisely throughout concerts that can be up to near 2 hours long. She uses a double kick bass pedal at unbelievable speed.
All members of the band can play piano/keyboards.
They were the first all female Japanese band to play at the Wacken festival, Germany in 2018, also playing at the Bloodstock festival in the UK and winning the UK Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. In 2019 they toured the UK with Dragon Force and opened for Arch Enemy in China. Following Miho's departure in 2021 they went on hiatus, two members, Asami and Miyako getting married and having babies. Their 'comeback' concert, the first with Fami on Bass, was in March 2023.
Here are a few recommendations for further listening;
The Bell In The Jail,
Break The Wall,
Soldier Stands Solitarily,
Golden Destination (there is a video that has footage from their 2019 tour of the UK with Dragon Force, including Herman Li as the 'missing sixth member of Lovebites' wearing a white dress)
Thunder Vengeance,
M.D.O.,
Scream For Me (live from 'Daughters of the Dawn' "OK Haruna, Give me the beat") For a masterclass in syncronised guitar shredding.
Winds of Transylvania (written for a Japanese Anime series VLADLOVE)
A Frozen Serenade,
Swan Song, with the Chopin piano introduction played by Miyako,
Edge of the World,
Epilogue.
There are many more I could suggest, but this should give you an idea of their range. The Wolfpack will have more suggestions. I would suggest watching live performances wherever possible. The ladies really shine on stage. I saw Lovebites live in London twice during their 2024 European tour. I have been a fan of Rock and Metal music right from the beginning seeing bands bands like Black Sabbath, Deep Purple and Iron Maiden when they were 'new', Lovebites are amongst the best I have ever seen in nearly 60 years of going to music gigs 🐺
I'm really glad Lovebites does not adhere to the "metal stereotype" of all black and leather and so on... In real life they are also "cute" and feminine, relishing their "hair-days" and sweets etc., so why not on stage, too. A lovely variation within the genre, I think.
But thanks for speaking your mind freely 🙂
Legit conderations on a first take, Jenn. Everybody is entitled to their opinion on hearing LOVEBITES.
But as others have already said, this them and they love to do this, metal on a wide palette.
A slower song perhaps or you could try their selfproclaimed anthem We The United. Never has a metal bandbeen more happy on stage and shown it: ua-cam.com/video/UnNxvgLI_Rg/v-deo.html
Thanks for reacting to mind-blowing Lovebites. These women are actually extremely talented, skillful and versatile proficient musicians. Definitely they’re not gimmick and, yes, they really love what they are doing; they’re not pretending to become famous nor earning lots of money. They are authentic. Their main influences are the great metal bands of the past but they have been developing their own and unique style. Asami used to sing R&B, soul and jazz before she joined the band. Miyako (black hair guitarist) is primarily a concert level classical pianist. Those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako are already legendary, in just 8 years. Their catalogue is more than 60 songs. Miho (former bassist and co-founder of the band) once said that they wanted to play as heavy as men but keeping their femininity. Some people say that they’re breaking the walls of stereotypes in the metal scene. If you really like heavy, then I recommend “The hammer of wrath”, “Judgement day”, “Set the world on fire”, “Thunder vengeance”, “Break the wall”, “Soldier stands solitarily”, “Winds of Transylvania”. Never judge a book by its cover.
they have several "ballads", maybe those are better suited?
Empty Daydream, Edge of the World and Epilogue for example
Any idea why they are called the "E" songs?
After watching the video, I'll have to add some things:
They have a main "marketing phrase" and another saying:
- "We are LOVEBITES and we play Heavy Metal" - They know they are lone wolves and have to fight the Metal stereotype, but they are real Heavy Metal fans, you hear it from their compositions and main influences. Not unusual to find them together on Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Helloween, or other concerts (or Band-Maid or Extreme). They are also fans, but so much, that they are able to replicate pure Metal from the 80s and 90s (or even 70s). See also their cover versions of "Painkiller"/JP and "Eagle Fly Free"/HW.
- "We are not here to be cute, we are here to play Heavy Metal" (a variation) - They willingly risk the contradiction between visual presentation and their excellent music, and use it in their favor to overcome mentioned difficulties with gate keepers. On the other hand, they are not pandering with old fashions, they just say, we are who we are and dress how we like. There's even one Official Music Video [OMV] "Stand And Deliver (Shoot 'Em Down)" where they dress casually and play with Motörhead vibes. They have established their "white and gold" dress code (but dress in black on few occasions), they say everything in English (that's probably marketing, but as Japanese, that's a big challenge!), but they also show individual personas (crazy guitarist, cool guitarist, relentless drummer, headbanging bassist, ballerina singer). I think, you got a wrong first impression of this. Maybe give it another try.
The "E" songs may be a good way to get "E"motionally intrigued.
"Epilogue" is their only real ballad, one of the best power ballads ever written. "Edge of the World" is kind of progressive with some twists, more of an emotional rollercoaster. And "Empty Daydream" has a great melody, harmonized voices and others.
Additionally there's "A Frozen Serenade" and "Swan Song (with Chopin intro)", two masterpieces with piano components.
For full Metal, there's my personal favorite "Soldier Stands Solitarily", just for fun, there's "We the United", for Thrash Metal we have "Set the World on Fire", "Break the Wall", "The Hammer of Wrath", "Raise Some Hell", etc. For Synth, there's only one choice: "Spellbound". For Gospel inspired music: "Glory to the World", for Samurais "When Destinies Align", there's many more different approaches, you'll for sure find your own. They have no weak or even mediocre song, and everyone of them has its own twist or surprise. Pretty much all of them written by the 5 members and a 6th assisting musician (Mao). "Holy War" is not their best song, but it's the most used introduction to LOVEBITES, because it showcases hints to many of their abilities.
I still have to mention an older song that brought many attention back in 2017 "Shadowmaker" and a fan favorite with 14 solos called "Scream for Me". But before I list the whole catalogue from my brain, I should stop here, that's a lot of information...
@rainerzufall42 They all start with the letter E.
After that comment, I've watched reaction videos to 2 songs that I didn't mention, both of them emotional and great:
- "Today is the Day"
- "Under the Red Sky"

Honesty is one of my favorite things. You're good at it :)
The main principles of the band presented by Miho, the founder and first bassist of LOVEBITES, are as follows.
①Heavy metal (basic policy)
②All English lyrics (Miho's strategy for global expansion)
Originally, Asami's purpose in writing English lyrics was a global strategy to perform live in various countries.
By writing lyrics, Asami's purpose gradually changed.
"I want people to enjoy heavy metal music."
"I want the sound to be directly conveyed."
"I want people to think of my voice as one of the instruments."
Miyako's purpose in choosing English lyrics is to pursue the Western aesthetic sense of Western music.
For her, rock music = music of Western beauty.
In a UA-cam content, during a conversation with three Japanese male guitarists, he said that he would not have participated if it had been Japa-meta(Japanese-style metal music with Japanese lyrics).
Since childhood, due to the influence of his mother, he had become familiar with rock music through English lyrics without understanding the meaning, so he may have perceived the vocals as one of the instruments.
③White costumes (Most metal bands wear black costumes, and if these short girls wore black costumes, they would be hidden, so they wear white costumes to contrast and stand out.)
④High heels (to compensate for short height)
Miho also thought about the visual effects on stage.
Asami will modify stage lighting effects etc. on-site.
For white costumes, each person requests their preferences and ideas from the costume staff.
P.S.
Even white costumes can be dyed in many colors with colored lighting.
LOVEBITES' songs cover a variety of metal genres, and the lyrics and songs have many different aspects, so the white outfit makes sense.
I'm huge fan of IRON MAIDEN & METAL from the 80'& 90's , those ladies make kind of metal still alive in their music. I went to their concert in France in Paris on 2024. It was the best concert i ever seen in a small venue. I want to go in their concert in Japan to see the big show. They're the QUEENS OF METAL.
Japonese metal scene is great and WOMENS taken the leadership.
Others talented bands
Aldious, Bridear, Band Maid, hagane, Trident, Nek!, Hanabie, paradoxx....
No hate at all Jenn. You're getting a lot of feedback from the Wolfpack (Lovebites International fanbase). These young women are *_committed_* to playing Metal music - it's what they love. They play several different genre's of music as well, a lot of it with classical influences - because the black-haired guitarist (and major songwriter) *Miyako* is a classically trained pianist with a degree in music composition. For something with Emotion, please check out *_Edge of the World_* ua-cam.com/video/Zr99B4RvaMc/v-deo.html (with CC)
Thank you for your reaction and for your honesty, a rare quality amongst reactors nowadays ;-)
Just one thing about your question if they like what they do or are just a "well studied marketing product". Be sure that given the amount of hours per day during so many years required to master instruments lke they do, you can't do it if you don't LOVE it. Believe me, there are already enough obstacles on the road to make you give up if you love it, so don't even think about it if you have to force yourself ;-)
I totally understand that it might not be music for everybody, especially if you're not into metal/power/thrash/speed... A friend of mine told me me he was "exhausted" after listening to that song 🙂
They also have more calm ones, with piano (yes, some of them are multitalented ;-) ), but let's be honest, not everybody will like them, and there's nothing wrong with that
I think a lot of reactors are afraid of backlash from fans (it can be quite demoralising). I actually like metal and I quite liked the music. Just had some things I found that felt off and I was trying out loud to work out what and why.
I do also find when reacting to new to me artists that the videos can be distracting and also present the wrong impression to me. Anyway, people have been really positive, explaining and giving more info and it's nice to have balanced responses.
I will check out more from Lovebites and maybe will skip videos so I can focus on the music! Thanks for your comment 🙂
@@JennReacts Fasten your seatbelts and enjoy the ride! It will be awesome. You can't go wrong with any song. There are only great songs (you may or may not connect to) and masterpieces...
@@JennReacts If you decide to react to "Frozen Serenade", I strongly recommend you watch this video version of it, because some of the visual effects of this performance will enhance it: ua-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/v-deo.html
@@mezacharia I second this suggestion. A Frozen Serenade live version has a visual aspect unlike any other song and performance I have ever seen from a band.
@@JennReactsabout the outfits. It is very common in Japan the all female metal bands ( yes there are ton of them over there) is updressed. If you have problem with this fantastic band you are gonna have really problems with dolls/cute/fashion metal bands from Japan. *-) Just embrace that in Japan there is another culture then the western world. I am sort of used to these "battledress". Over here in Sweden we had bands in the 70 ies that have awful clothes but they were counted as "working clothes" and was able to get reduction on taxes at the time.
Never cast your final judgement based on a book cover alone, or by a single randomly selected chapter. Choose at least one other Lovebites selection because their music spans several diffent genres. You will be pleased in the end, we guarantee it.😊
great reaction 👏🐱 , Lovebites wins power metal band 2024 🔥💪
Take into account that the metal attire of leather and black came from Judas Priest back in the day that Rob Halford borrowed from the style worn at many gay clubs.
Women wearing white on stage is different, partly gimmick but it definitely separates them from the rest, best bet is to listen to music without the video distraction, that way you get a clearer idea of the music as it should be an audible experience not a visual.
Welcome!🎉
Thank you for your reaction to LOVEBITES.😃
Thank you for your continued support of LOVEBITES.🙏
❤️LOVEBITES❤️ has about 65songs.🎁💝
They are very humble towards their fans.
To show their gratitude to the fans who come to see them, they practice hard before the live show so they can give a good performance.
I think the members also discuss how to fix things they didn't notice during recording and make the songs better.
👑🎤Asami-san👑 said at the concert "Our songs are complete at the concert!"
If you try to think or analyze the band's BPM, songs, and music based on traditional concepts of a metal band, I think your understanding of Lovebites will be limited and one-sided.
This heavy metal band continues to evolve.
They don't stick to one genre of metal music.
Sometimes it blends different metal music genres together, and sometimes it blends classical music.
They have a variety of genres of metal music that they think are good, and they have the skills to perform them live.
Sometimes their songs are on the border between metal and hard rock, and if they call it metal music, then to me it is metal music.
LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by Miho(Ba) and Haruna(Dr), members of the band "DESTROSE", which went on hiatus in 2015.
The girls made their major label debut in 2017 (March 24) with "THE LOVEBITES EP".
On 11 June 2018, LOVEBITES won 😈'BEST NEW BAND🏆' at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2018 awards organised by the British metal magazine METAL HAMMER.
On August 4th, LOVEBITES performed on the W.E.T stage at WACKEN OPEN AIR 2018, one of the world's largest metal festivals held in Germany, and the venue, which has a capacity of 10,000, was almost full.
"Bloodstack open air 2018(Aug. 10)" also participated.
On August 20,2018, LOVEBITES announced that it has partnered with X-ray Touring, one of the largest players in the UK booking agent industry.
LOVEBITES toured the Netherlands, Germany, France and UK from November 13-21, 2018.
Asami (Vo) of LOVEBITES appeared as a guest on stage at Halestorm "Download Japan 2019(March 21)", singing alongside "Lzzy" Hale on Halestorm's "Love Bites (So Do!)", which gave the band their name.
LOVEBITES performed as a support band for "Arch Enemy's China tour at the Shanghai show on March 23 and the Beijing show on March 24, 2019".
LOVEBITES participated in "dowload Festival 2019(June 15)".
And Asami of LOVEBITES appeared as a guest on stage at Halestorm Download Festival UK 2019, singing alongside "Lzzy" Hale on Halestorm's "Love Bites (So Do!)" again after Japan.
LOVEBITES join DragonForce on UK tour 2019(Nov. 2-14).
On 2 December 2019, LOVEBITES was the support act for the Tokyo leg of Halestorm's Japan tour.
On January 10, 2020, a headline show was held at the venue "The Colosseum™" in the resort hotel Hard Rock Hotel Singapore Resorts World™ Sentosa.

Their image isn't forced.
In japanese culture and special in the music business there is quite common for band to go all out on costumes. Just look at "Visual Kei", which is men with "big" hair, flashy costumes and lots of make-up. Yes... in the idol industry girls are often forced to wear certain costumes to get attention. Lovebites... Not so much.
That's the main point, LOVEBITES (and others) are quite different to those many idol groups from Japan.
And especially LOVEBITES is focussed on what you can call "European Metal" (mostly 80s and early 90s).
Hellooo. Maybe what happens is that you are not attracted to metal music, but to say that because of their clothing they are promoting is a mistake. You don't have to wear jeans or leather jackets, to be more recognized. In fact there are many bands with metal jackets. leather, they are real shit. These girls are musically gifted and have more than 70 songs, as you will see they are not promoting themselves. They have been for a few years now, in the highest echelon of heavy metal in my opinion. I will tell you I would recommend a reaction to the songs "A Frozen Serenade" or "Swan Song + intro Chopin" you will see what an enormous level of composition and great music, because they are. A Big hug
If you decide to react to "Swan Song", you must absolutely be sure to use the version of "Swan Song w/ Chopin Intro". If you don't, you'll definitely get the wrath of the Wolfpack (Lovebites fans)! 😝😝😝
I suggest using one of these links (I can't even provide a single link because I usually get criticized by other Wolfpack members for using the "wrong" one):
ua-cam.com/video/dcMVtrvpJpk/v-deo.html
ua-cam.com/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/v-deo.html
An honest opinion is always the best thing, it'll be interesting to see your thoughts as or when you progress through their catalogue, apart from the way they are dressed you seem to like the sound, try a few more tracks and you'll understand what makes them so special and stand out from the rest, they are unique and a truly amazing band. 🤘🎤🥁🎸🎹🐺🇬🇧
I agree! I would really like to see you try out at least a couple more songs and see what you think then. Lovebites does have some different types/styles of music, so just one of their songs does not give a full picture.
🤟🏻🔥🐺🔥🤘🏻
Welcome to my favorite band. These are world class musicians and are the real deal. Hope you enjoy all the amazing music they have to offer, there are no bad songs from these incredible ladies.
🤘🐺🤘
The story I heard about how they dressed is that they were told by the " boys" that they should dress pretty and play pretty music .. They decided to dress pretty and play METAL.. Most Asian bands tend to have some type of uniform. this band in my opinion is without any doubt the best in their class. and are genuine creative artists : all of them. ...I liked yr reaction and hope you change yr tune :)
I will definitely try another song. I have said before it is often better for me to listen without video so I can concentrate on the music and not get distracted by what's happening on the video. Also less likely to let that affect my opinion.
@@JennReacts You remind me of one aspect: LOVEBITES have good OMVs, but it's recommended to watch live performances, when they play with their enormous energy and getting feedback from the fans.
@@JennReacts Soldier Stands Solitarily audio track is mind blowing. My favorite song by Lovebites. Every single member pushed it to the limits of their ability on this track.
All the best Metal and Hard Rock of the 21st century is being made in Japan by extremely talented female musicians. Lovebites, Band-Maid, Nemophila, Hanabie are just four that stand out to me personally but there are many more.
What? Marketing? You didn’t hear them play? It’s all about the music. They are the absolute cream of the crop. Weird, asking if they actually like the music. Would you ask a male group the same question? You are doing them a disservice. That’s one song. You need to listen to more. Try Empty Daydream, Swan Song with Chopin intro., Frozen Serenade. I must admit when I saw them for the first time in an MV it didn’t stick. I came back to them later and fell in love with their music. I think it helped to get to know more about their individual personalities off-set. They are lovely people and they truly do love their music. Maybe have a look at Stand and Deliver MV next, you see them in a different context. Weird reaction in many respects, the sort of response that I would expect from a male metal elitist….anyway, try some more, see what it does for you. :)
TBF - I've seen less cynical reactions to Lovebites . And yes you ARE doing them a complete injustice / disservice . The first point is that it's not mandatory to wear dark or dirty clothes ( or to be a middle aged man ) to play metal - and others have explained in the comments why THEY CHOOSE to wear the stage clothes they do . They are not in any way a " manufactured " band - they came together organically through a shared love of the music ( the only minor exception was Asami the vocalist who comes originally from a R&B background ) and like most Japanese musicians they are all classically trained .
They are EXTREMELY versatile and perhaps if you take the time to watch another track , like for instance " A Frozen Serenade " - ua-cam.com/video/Ae8pQVu-RN8/v-deo.html - you will see the classical influences in their self composed and written music
ENJOY !
They are different from the "typical metal" image and play heavy metal with uplifting lyrics and positive messages, that's why their band picture is always represented by a WOLF because they are a "Lone Wolf" in the heavy metal scene. And that's why LOVEBITES's intenational fans are called "The Wolfpack"!!!
Welcome to the Wolfpack, Jenn!🎸🎸🤘
Arguably, this is the best band on the planet. Beautiful, talented, hard-working women composing and playing metal music are not for everyone. That's why there's the multitude of country, pop, and hip-hop performers with minimal talent. If you think Lovebites are "marketed" I can only imagine what your reaction to Band-Maid and Hanabie. would be. I applaud your honesty.
Good one Jenn 👌🏻👌🏻
The clash between their look and their sound is called "the gap" in Japan. It's a way to set them apart from the hundreds of other bands trying to make it, and to add an extra dimension to their performance. Bands that fail to attract listeners eventually vanish, so attracting listeners is an essential skill for any professional musician. The guitarists and bassist are long time metal fans. They wouldn't be able to do what they do without a deep appreciation of metal music.
Why expect them to wear the stereotypically uniform for metal - black clothes, tatoos. Yes they play it by choice so you are doing them an injustice. I saw them live at a small venue in London last June and they were fantastic. . I have no problem with the music not being in your wheelhouse as everyone has different tastes but the other stuff you speculated on was not really coorrect. I appreciate you are reacting to just one video so not a in drepth knowledge of the band
Honesty is always a beautiful thing so let me reply on the basis of what you said.
I have been a fan of LOVEBITES since I found them by accident a couple of years ago. I was looking for a song by another band and UA-cam gave me their song of the same name. I listened and enjoyed it.
Maybe you need to listen to a couple of tunes without the visuals so that you can adjust to how brilliant this band is without the dresses distracting you.
Alternatively try this official MV where they are not wearing the dresses. You will get the truth. 🙏
ua-cam.com/video/4ImGA7cPyrs/v-deo.html
really thank for your honesty. try the MV of "stand and deliver" from their channel, where they are dressed casual. and yes, they all are real metal heads in the heart, fans of metallica, iron maiden, helloween and so on. and they are serious musicians. in an early interview they told, that one of their goals is to show that sophisticated women can play real heavy metal and stay feminin without a "rock n roll" lifestyle. one piece, where you really can feel their joy to play, their energy, their love for the audience is "we the united" live 2023 also from their channel.
Try Swan song,with intro
LOVEBITES
They are listened not only by metalheads. Ladies came out of their metal genre and have wider spectrum of fans.
They play Eclectic Metal. It means they blend as the first band in history all kind of metal mainly power and thrash with NWOBHM,
heavy metal, symphonic metal, speed metal, hair metal, hard rock, rock, rock'n'roll, jazz, progressive pieces, funk and even punk. They mix all with classical music using operatic, R&B, soul and gospel skills of vocalist and grand piano and Spanish guitar skills playing. Sometimes they use typical Japanese melodic lines which are included in ENKAs_ melancholy ballads singing by Japanese women. Only their can do it. Obviously they draw a lot from British, German and American metal. All this makes their style unique.

If you have only listened to men in metal Japanese Women metal bands might take a few songs before it gets past that off feeling. And then, BA BA BA BOOOOOOM!!! A WHOLE NEW WORLD.
Lovebites history :
Lovebites has been around since 2016, and the women became more famous worldwide after performing at several major festivals, mainly in Europe, starting in

2019 - Download Festival in Spain.

In 2020, their career was abruptly interrupted by Corona. But they masterfully overcame the crisis, got married and had babies. In 2021 the founder Miho left the band for personal reasons and it went into a hiatus which lasted until the end of 2022. In the fall of 2022 they found a young fantastic bass player and in 2023 they released a new LP. The new LP reached the 5th place in the Japanese charts. Japan is the 2nd largest music market in the world and it is very rare that in these times a rock band comes so far forward.

I think your perception is wrong on how their Classy Elegant presences feels fake and counter too their music. It is called Contrast. Artistry with Contrast mixed with music. Elegant and Commanding Queens laying down Western Metal and Much better than Most Western bands. I mean it is truly one dimensional thinking being okay with your Rock and Metal acts wearing leather, denim and less but a Woman in a Gold laced Gown and Classy Stage Wear is No go? Hmm....... Double Standards alert. I for one enjoy the over the top elegance mixed with 180 bpm melodic speed metal myself. Ymmv......
if this is to much u should check out their swan songs, frozen serenades,or empty daydreams..ull understand what were Lovebites were capable of
The best Big band beautiful

If that is an issue for you, the dress, try their music video for the song stand and deliver (shoot em down) that is one of the very few where they’re not dressed in their battle uniform/white outfits.
Rather disappointing and superficial judgment about them based mainly on what they were wearing, don't you think? And this was enough to distract you enough to straight up imply that they were fake - as in this was mostly for marketing, to the point of even questioning whether they like this music?? Total lack of understanding and appreciation for their level of dedication and musicianship.
Simply astounding to not even recognize how unbelievable their talent and the level of hard work had to be put into the product you see before you, but instead to focus on a negative, and made-up narrative. You think that they could've been forced to dedicate that many years if they didn't actually like this music? It's fine if you don't like the music, but sorry, this sort of opinion is just flat-out disrespectful.
Two other very good are Hanabie (Ha-na-bi-e) "Pardon me..." or "Be the GAL" and Hagane (with Junna at the drums) with "Tenga Goken).
In a genre of music that, until the rise of Japanese female rock and metal, was entirely dominated by men, Lovebites decided to embrace their femininity. It's a male contrivance to think that you have to wear black leather, unwashed jeans, throat beards, tattoos and look like you live on a diet of drugs, beer and road kill to look like a real metal head. That's the real fake marketing image.... "look at me... I'm a real badass." You don't have to look like you live in a ditch to like metal. Lovebites have weaponised their femininity. They are women, not erzatz males and they are proud of it. In addition Japanese culture embraces a concept they call the gap.... the contrast between extremes; between appearance and actuality.... a hard rock band that dresses as French maids on stage, cute little girls rocking out to death metal or, in the case of Lovebites, elegantly dressed ladies melting your face off with searing power metal. If you have to ask if women dressed in white prom dresses and bling actually like metal music then you've already bought the tired masculine cliche surrounding the genre. Of course they like metal. I saw the band twice in London last summer and you only have to watch them for five seconds to see that they love what they do. With the exception of the lead singer they are all products of the Japanese female metal scene which is one of the most vibrant in the world. For me they brought a breath of fresh air into a musical genre that had stagnated into its own self image of itself.
You don't need to obscure the video. They don't block. They want the world to see who they are.
You kinda struggle with this one :)
Have you done Ado - Elf? It is a couple of days out now and it is a very big deal. Worth putting 1rst up for you. Unravel - Live by Ado can wait. Elf is red hot right now.
How would you rate this what you see is what you get girls just being normal having fun Sasha Kapustina with Guest Diana Ankudinova doing a podcast at sashas place singing Feeling Good ua-cam.com/video/aQOxVjwaNUI/v-deo.html
Thanks for reacting to LOVEBITES, but wow are you way off in your analysis. You have relied on blind assumptions, where instead you could have said you're simply not a fan of the music. Being "distracted" by the way they dress is kind of funny to me, so I guess you want typical black leather and sweaty guys when you watch metal. When someone is so off the mark with superior musicianship, it comes to question do you really like music?
If you had watched any of my other reactions you would know I love music. It was not an analysis. I am not a musician, vocal coach or singer so I wouldn't presume to analyse. It is just my opinion. I have said before that with new bands I can find the videos distracting and sometimes prefer to listen to the song without video. I didn't say I didn't like their music. I just felt something was off to me and I was trying to figure out what it was. I will definitely try another from them. Sometimes it can just be a case of a different day brings a fresh outlook. We shall see. 🙂
I disagree.... She specifically says that she liked the music, but that there is just something that is off for her. She's a reactor, so she should be permitted her honest reaction, even if it's not the one that you (or me) may want to see. This is still a much better reaction than that one guy that spent almost the entire video loudly ridiculing Asami's accent and complaining how he couldn't understand what she was singing, all the while speaking in a heavily accented English (you could clearly tell that English was not his primary language). Usually, I do not have a problem when someone says that they cannot understand Asami's English (my wife is one of them), but if English is not your primary language and you yourself have a heavy accent, I don't think it's appropriate to ridicule someone else's accent.
Jenn is not ridiculing Lovebites or even criticizing them. She's just wondering what doesn't quite work for her. Honestly, there have been times where I think that "Holy War" may not be the best first song to introduce some people to Lovebites. Perhaps "Edge of the World" ( ua-cam.com/video/jQKf8Dy_chA/v-deo.html ) or "Liar" ( ua-cam.com/video/yZKOqGo0CuE/v-deo.html ) would be better.
I'm not going to hate on you, but I think you REALLY need to read up and familiarize yourself with the whole Japanese music culture. It is entirely unlike anything you'll find in the US or Europe. The whole disconnect between the music and the visuals is a very big part of the Japanese music scene. It is epitomized in the Visual Kei movement, and many bands incorporate it into their image even if they don't go fully Visual Kei. Band-Maid refers to it as "the gap." There is nothing insincere about it, but Westerners simply tend to not understand. If it isn't black leather and tattoos, we don't get it. Our brains are small that way. But it is a uniquely Japanese thing, and these ladies are as authentic as any band you'll find anywhere. They came together organically, they weren't "put together" by an agency or anything, and they write and compose all their own music, so yes, they are playing what they would normally play if they were doing it on their own ... because they are doing it on their own.
Typical misogynistic reaction to beautiful and talented women writing and performing complex, emotionally powerful Metal music better than most men even dare to dream of.
typical fan boy response. See, it's easy to overreact isn't it. I was not being misogynistic even if you thought I was.
@@JennReactsOk. Maybe is racism. Surely there’s no way five Japanese women can form the best Metal band in the world. I mean, do they even like this music?
Whatever you do, don’t listen to BAND-MAID. Or GACHARIC SPIN. Or NEMOPHILA. Or HAGANE. Or HABABIE.
Calling her reaction to Lovebites "misogynistic" is ludicrous. She had a preconceived idea of what a metal band, male or female, should look like and Lovebites did not fit that idea. Most people that see Lovebites for the first time have to wrap their head around the difference of how they look and how they sound. Lovebites, just like Hanabie and especially Band-Maid, were actually going for that gap. If Lovebites had been dressed like Nemophila or Crypta from Brazil, then she would not have had the same reaction - the look would have fit the music. Where she was very much unfair was to make the jump that Lovebites were somehow fake because of how they dressed. I am sure she has now been told by many commenters that the members of Lovebites actually love the music they play and are highly involved in writing all the music. Bottom line is that your criticism of her was far more unfair than her reaction to Lovebites, and all you accomplished was to make Lovebites fans look bad.
@@Greg-om2hb wow so now I am racist. You're a lovely person aren't you? Fans of Lovebites have been super generous with their feedback and info which I appreciate. There are always bad apples though. To get so worked up over an opinion about music is a bit weird. We all like different styles of music and that's a good thing. I have not said anything rude about them. They as I said make good music, are very talented. Your reaction was extreme and very silly

You left everything and taked about the clothes they wear. You didn’t talk about the singers voice, you didn’t talk about music or their abilities you didn’t talk their talent or playing musical instruments you only cared about the colour they were wearing. And you didn’t ask yourself what country they were from and what their culture was?get used to it. You must review yourself carefully to know your reaction
I did talk about their skill and talent but whatever. I said I liked the music. I was trying to work out what felt off to me and I was pondering out loud. It was an overall impression not just their clothes.
Well, youre quite unice then. Like 99% of everyone reacting to Lovebites the first time are blown away about their skill. Every instrumentalist in this band is absolutely amazing at their instrument. Its sad that you hook up only at their atributes and seem to not aprichiate their music and how skilled they are. If you only said that youre not a fan of this kind of metal (wich you partly said that the music wasent really ure thing) it would have been one thing. But the meaning in what you lay in that they should be marketed in a sertain way. And laying ure focus in something like how they look and that they are just pretty and fake, that for us who loves this band very very much,
Isnt puttin you in a good day. For me its an absolutely shame that you dont see their greatness .
And I dont generally like people putting/sorting other people "in to a box only cause of what they see, and build their opinion on that.
Metal music or hard rock or any music shouldnt be in a certain box.
Only cause you or others are used to see it in a certain way.
One of Lovebites things. Is that they differ from many other metal bands in just that way. They perform in white, not leather or dark clothes or jeans.... But their music is straight tro the point powermetal/Trash metal.
This also fuels manys belives. That the ones puttin women or girls down the most. Sports or music or often male dominated stuffs.
Isnt other males. But most often women.
If you dont like the music fine... But the other stuff you said was pure dumb to me....
I will concider if I will countinue follow youre chanel from now on....
@@jonnyberggren4598 I don't think you actually got what I was saying. I said I liked the music but something felt off and I was trying to understand what. I also said they were great musicians. I misunderstood their intentions and you misunderstood mine. Easy to do and happens all the time. If you don't want to watch my reactions it's all good. I will continue to be honest with my reactions which will upset some people. I will try and be more clear on my talking through my thoughts when listening.
If you prefer to watch costumes rather than to listen to the music, go reacting to fashion shows
