She's not too bad, but her instrumental prowess and badassness is most of her merit. Midori on the other hand is very attractive, along with all the guitar skills
@@ScoochieRAt a distance she is attractive, but have a look at a photo of her up close. She is absolutely gorgeous. Probably even more so than Midori......

Luckily we have these bands hanging on and many who dont give the slightest whif of a fuck what others think. We dont need American movie trailer "metal" or politically charged bullshit...give me this....stay safe everyone🤘
It's the music industry faking their numbers to make everyone think that the canned spam they're putting out is more popular than it is. It's like having millions of followers on Twitter. LOL As corrupt as the whole system is, I wouldn't doubt they have a way of suppressing others.
Finally: LoveBites. Good reaction. My favorite band. They are amazing. Love them. Lots of songs to react to. They are all good. Don’t know a song where Asami has the camera all time on her. Thank you for this reaction.
Welcome to Lovebites. The Wolfpack will take you on a musical journey of Heavy Metal,Thrash,Speed metal,Power metal,NWOBHM and MIYAKO the composed guitarist who you mentioned is a classically trained Piano player will give you some Chopin and more. There are many tracks to choose from but I would suggest ''Edge of the world'',''Swan song with the Chopin Etude intro'', ''Epilogue'' and the show opener ''Thunder Vengeance'' will give you a good idea of what these ladies are capable of.
I remember when I first viewed a Lovebites video, I said "Aww they're so cute they look like barbie dolls!" Then the music started and I was like, "Holy sh*t!" The guitarist with the blonde hair is Midori, BTW.
I came across Lovebites around a month ago, purely by accident. 1 month later and I've a nice collection of items shipped over from Japan. They really know how to package an album...Great review of the song and performance. Enjoy!
Edge of the World is a vocal masterpiece that will show you the full range of what Asami is capable of. And if you watch Swan Song, be sure to choose the video that includes Miyako's Chopin intro (Miyako is the dark haired more stoic guitarist and she's a fantastic pianist, as you will see on that song).
@@donviajero2580 Yeah, a lot people first are not really impressed with Asami since in full nonstop powermetal she can't really show what she can. For me it was "Epilogue" where i first started to like her more. And yes, Swan Song always with the Chopin Intro, i always love the faces of the reactors when they see play piano like that 😃👍
Thank you so much for this great video. Holy War is one of their best songs. I love Lovebites. I met this amazing and extremely talented band a month ago. And I'm very impressed that I had to order their discography. I really liked your analysis. I feel the same way. Thank you very much again :-)
the most impressive for me about Asami; is that before 2016, when the band was formed, she was a RnB and Soul Back-up singer, that didn't knew nothing about metal(the band wanted a singer that could sing in English, that's why she was picked). Miyako (black hair guitar) even said on an interview, that when they started, she was explaining her something and gave as examples Metallica and Judas Priest, Asami looked at her and asked "what's that?", and on a group interview in 2018 Asami even jokes that she is only in her 2nd grade of Metal... and look at her now, looks like she has been doing this all her life...
They done a UK tour with Dragon Force i seen them in Scotland They formed in 2016 and by 2018 Lovebites quickly got international attention and won that year's Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for Best New Band.
I want to recomended other lovebites songs 1. "Edge of the world" or "Swan Song" , if you want hear more about her voice 2. "We The United", if you want see the harmonizing guitar play. 3. "Break The Wall" or "The Hammer of Wrath" or "Winds of Transilvania", if you want see them play Thrash 4. "Epilogue", if you want see them play ballad. 5. "Raise Some Hell" or "Scream For Me", if you want see them play hard rock 6. "Glory to The World" or "When Destinies Align", if you want see them play more powermetal
I agree with you 100%. It's both depressing and infuriating that musicians and a band this good has so few views when some of the most over produced, auto tuned, pro tooled factory 🏭 churned out bullshit gets views in the millions 🤷🤷🤷🤷
Finally, you check out Lovebites! This is what wolfpack ( lovebites fans ) need, some reaction from female Metal singer to Lovebites. What a great reaction, specially when you comment about Asami voice ( the lead singer of Lovebites ) thank you so much. Asami have a rich, power, high and unique voice. I love her voice. Hope Lovebites get a lot reaction on this chanel. Because they really really world class band and musicians. Next song, try they song "Edge of the world" or "Eagle fly free" helloween cover. Once again thank you very much. Stay safe and keep on lovebitten🤘
"This tiny little hell raiser of a front woman..." Exactly! Asami! from ballet and R&B/Soul singing to METAL! 4'10" of pure POWER! Each unique, yet who's destinies have aligned. I love that you recognize much of what keeps me fascinated with their 50 song diverse catalog of epic masterpieces. thrash, power, heavy, prog, classic and classical. Asami (voice), Miho (bass), Midori (guitar left), Haruna (drums), Miyako (guitar & piano)
Asami is the most graceful frontwomen in the heavy metal scene. I like that she moves gracefully instead of hard headbanging. Lovebites albums was mixed by Mikko Karmila and mastered by Mika Jussila, who have worked with acts like Nightwish, Children of Bodom, and Stratovarius. great review and thanks.
I KNEW you’d love Lovebites, I KNEW it. I’m sooooo glad they’ve entered your orbit because you are going to just love their versatility. They specifically set out to play old school power metal, and the reason the bassist, Miho, is so animated is because this band is her dream come true. Along with the drummer, Haruna, they formed Lovebites in 2016 after the band they were in at the time, Destrose, broke up. Asami, the vocalist, hadn’t sung metal before joining Lovebites, but Miho recognised in her the type of voice she knew would work in the style of music she wanted Lovebites to play. As a complete contrast, I strongly recommend that you react to the first of these two songs next, “Epilogue”. It is a world way from Holy War, and has more of the close ups you’re looking for, as well as showing how much emotional energy Asami puts into the song. Her background is actually Jazz and R n B, and in Epilogue, it shows. Note, I’ve included a link because, for now, it’s only available on UA-cam as a clip with two tracks. Of course, I’d be even happier if you did both, because “Don’t bite the Dust” introduced Lovebites to the World on their “Lovebites’” EP and was their first promoted song. ua-cam.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/v-deo.html
They have 3 albums 3 EP's and 3 Live albums since 2016 so they are still newer and some videos get taken down youtube style and end up being re uploaded
Wow! This is the best first reaction to Lovebites I have seen. The fact that you know something about music and are a singer yourself really helps of course, but you also immediately picked up on the differences in their personalities, the fact that they push each other, and so many nuances of their approach. I never subscribe on a first viewing but this is an exception (I also want to hear more of your own singing!). Obviously you are also a member of the Nightwish Army, as are many of us. I think Nightwish is the greatest metal band of the last 20 years, and I think Lovebites are already in contention for greatest metal band of this decade, assuming they stay together. Much more on the band in a separate comment.
Yes the world needs to know about this band, they are phenomenal! They are popular in Japan, and are just starting to branch out to Europe and beyond. They won the 2018 Metal Hammer Golden Gods award for best new band. Every member is super talented.
This is a great band. Good reaction. If they are American or British they would be more popular. If there is no youtube, it's hard for people outside Japan to notice them. Thanks youtube.
You are soooo right. Japan 🇯🇵 has an amazing hard rock and metal scene these days. Especially all women bands. Aldious, Band Maid, Nemophilia and Lovebites to name just a few. I have seen several of them live. I also saw Lovebites live in Osaka, Japan. They were absolutely incredible. One of the best live shows I have ever seen. Her voice is even more impressive live.
About the guitar playing: both guitarists are absolutely amazing. Just the whole twin-guitar harmonies that they´re performing live without missing a note, is very impressive. That takes not only skill and practice, but you need 2 players who are perfectly "in sync" with each other on stage. Hell, the entire band´s musicianship is top notch, from the drummer to the bassist to the vocalist. These girls are the definition of "don´t judge a book from his cover". The only thing that´s holding them back is their incompetent and just plain, forgive my greek, ret*rded record label. Not only don´t they do jack to promote the girls outside of Japan, basically Lovebites got more PR from reaction videos to their live performances than through their record label, but they also take down said live performance videos. Anyway, definetely check out more of their live performances.
LOVEBITES - Holy War lyrics: Look at those black clouds, it’s going to rain blood People live in fear, covered in mud Singing oh Gloria to change the prophecy We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for sisters There is a thousand, a thousand of evils Hush, do not wake up Satan’s devils Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for brothers Shining blade and burning heart Into the Gates of Hell we march Immortal soul, let there be light Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun We are one for all and all for one forevermore Kingdom of Heaven, never shall we fall Reincarnation, wait for your call Singing oh, Gloria to change the prophecy We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for sisters Morning star and dying moon Into the Gates of Hell we march Mighty soul, let there be hope Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun Stand up in the name of the God of heavy metal What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight? glad you found them and liked them. great and expertly reaction. these five musicians are something else. so is asamis voice. probably the best metal band around actually.
Love your reactions! Thank you for helping these ladies getting more exposure. The next songs you're looking for are "Epilogue", "Edge of the World", and "Swan Song". Welcome to the best metal band in the world
this is power metal. understatement of the century ! spread the word on the band that will knock you out every time. you need more LOVEBITES in your life. and you apparently know music - you really get asami's voice on first listen. the blonde high ponytail is midori tatematsu and you can see why she would be a fan favorite.
Thank you for the good reaction of the wonderful wonderful band Lovebites, and it made me so happy that you discovered all the small nuances, Lovebites will rule the world as soon this epedemia is over. They have played in spain, belgium, germany and england on festivals and as special guests on DragonForce's 11-date UK tour November 2019...
As someone who knew Nightwish, Within Temptation and all those other Symphonic metal bands already since over 20 year (if they existed that long), Lovebites was really something i got aware off from reaction videos, and they are absolute in my top list now. Really love them 😍👍
First of all the songs, that you performed yourself, sounded very well, the videos were well done, too: brava! I really enjoy your reactions, you notice a lot of details.
Lovebites are in my opinion, the best metal band out there. As you correctly pointed out, their style hits on old-school metal and power metal. As you keep listening, you will hear thrash too. Give Scream for Me (live version) a listen. The two guitarists, Midori (stage right) and Miyako (stage left) are amazingly great guitarists. Their duel solos are some of the best I have ever heard. The bass player, Miho, is so damn good on the 4 string. My favorite is Haruna, the drummer. She is only 4'9" but plays the kit like a giant. Asami, the singer, is tremendous. Her background is R&B. Listen to Edge of the World which falls right into her background. Also, she studied ballet and you can see she incorporates that style in her movements on stage. I cannot say enough good things about Lovebites.
FYI this band (Lovebites) won METAL HAMMER AWARD 2018 in europe in best band new comer category.. and n 2020 this band nominated in 20 the best band arround the world in power metal/heavy metal category..
Yes! Great analysis of Asami's vocals! Another singer who likes her voice! 😀 LOVEBITES is still a fairly new band, celebrated their 4th anniversary not long ago. But their fanbase is growing, they are so good! I am also a big fan of NightWish, and the funny thing is, i discovered Lovebites by chance because of a NightWish reaction! 😄 Please check out their song "Edge of the World" LIVE at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo 2020. I think this song showcases Asami's vocals very well! Thank you!
You wanted a close up of Asami singing well here you go LOVEBITES - Empty Daydream Live In Tokyo 2019 Miyako lead guitarist on piano she is also a concert pianist
A new reactor for me and loved your reaction and analysis. You should check out more of their stuffs. We the wolfpack adore and love their work. Cheers 🤘
Love these ladies. One of the best bands out there! Hopefully after this Covid is over they will be able to tour and get the recognition they so deserve! Thank you for reacting to this video.
Thats the wild part. Even when they wear 8 inch heels they arent but 5'8 tops. Of note is they take very good physical and dietary care of themselves unlike many, many other artists.
"Edge of the World" showcases the vocalist, so you might look at that song next. You might be interested in a vocalist from Indonesia who combines opera and rock in original compositions: Isyana Sarasvati: "Il Sogno"
Well, its so nice to see you get so excited about Lovebites because they have a lot of videos so you have a lot to explore. Not every reactor start loving Asami right from the get-go, most of them "notice" the guitar work at first and slowly drift into loving her vocals as the time goes by. The fact the the very 1st Lovebites reaction amde you a big fan of what they do and who they are makes it even more great for you and us )
Yeah welcome to the Wolfpack. You just sow the winners of Metal Hammer Golden gods awards for 2018 year in category best new metal band. Lovebites are the best all female power metal band in the world at the moment. They are influenced by 80s metal. Their inspiration bands are Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Halloween, Metallica and Slayer. The band is formed in 2016th from ex Destrose band members Miho the bassist and composer ( she is the band leader) and Haruna the drummer( 4.9 pocket monster on the drums my opinion best female power metal drummer in the world) the other members are Asami the vocalist and songwriter ( she was R&b and jazz-soul singer before to join the band ) Midori the lead guitarist and backing vocals with the blonde hair ( one of the fastest female guitarists in the world right now speed demon on the guitar) and Miyako the other lead guitarist, pianist and composer with the black hair ( she is the main composer of the band classical training pianist start to play on age of three). Lovebites album Electric pentagram was nominated for one of the best 20 metal albums for 2020 year. They prefer to sing English, alike to touring in Europe. Miho the bassist and band leader mentioned once in interview- we are here to make something memorable . And the band also said- we are here not to be cute we are here to be heavy. Yeah is true they always perform on high heels, imagine like 2 hours concert on high heels running on the stage, just amazing. Musicianship and chemistry are unbelievable. They've got over 50 songs and none of them is bad. You want to see Asami how singing check the song Edge of the world and Epilogue.
Welcomed to the mind-blowing world of Lovebites. These Japanese women are breaking the walls of stereotypes in the world metal scene; some even say that they’re redefining metal. They are so talented, skillful, versatile and great musicians. Yes, their main influences are Metallica, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Slayer, Helloween and even Gary Moore, but they’ve been developing their own and unique style. If you’re interested more on the vocal side, I suggest the songs “Empty daydream”, “Epilogue”, “Edge of the world”, “Eagle fly free” (Helloween cover) and “Dancing with the devil” (all live if possible). For headbanging: “Break the wall”, “Hammer of wrath”, “Raise some hell”, “Scream for me”, “Thunder vengeance”, “Shadowmaker”, “Don’t bite the dust”, “When destinies align”, “Winds of Transylvania”. Lineup: Haruna - Drums Miho - Bass, backing vocals Midori - Lead & rhythm guitar, backing vocals Miyako - Lead & rhythm guitar, keyboards, classical piano, backing vocals Asami - Lead vocals
EPILOGUE IS ANOTHER ONE TO WATCH . AND 2 OF MY FAVORITES IS THE HELLOWEEN COVER OF EAGLE FLY FREE . ALSO BURDEN OF TIME , AND EMPTY DAYDREAMS , ESPECIALLY !
Yes, Japan has real, full on metal bands. Actually a lot of them. Not only Idol groups backed by metal musicians. And Lovebites are one of the amazing ones!
nice reaction. i understand what you mean with 'wtf is wrong with the world'. with the right management, within a few years they are gonna rock the foundations of the heavy metal scene so hard, its gonna be awesome. i got a feeling that 'Edge of the world' and 'swan song with Miyako's piano solo' is gonna be what you need to hear from them. grts from Belgium
Hi, good reaction. If you want to hear one acoustic version i suggest you: "Rising", only Asami (singer) with Mihako (black hair guitar) on the piano! Thanks
Damn..Lovebites...soo Good 🔥🔥🔥👍Asami 's singing is absolut Unique in the World of Metal !Great first reaction to this Amazing( Power Thrash Heavy )Metalband Lovebites . I really enjoy It 👍Perhaps you'll check out "Edge of the World "live in Tokio 2020 Next!?! Thank's and stay save
Yeah Asami is belting those long held notes on E5 (with a brief F5 before it) - she goes up to an A5 on a few tracks which is the highest I've heard her go IIRC, when I saw them performing at Bloodstock 2018 it felt like the sound system was going to blow out when she hit the A5 in their track Don't Bite The Dust XD
Lovebites are an amazing band. Japan has a huge metal scene as already pointed out and there are even many all-female metal bands, which is really unique to Japan.
What a reaction!! Great comments, you have a new suscriber. If you want to check more of Asami's voice, I recomend you Edge Of The World and Empty Daydream. By the way, she has a R&B and Soul background, Asami is an amazing singer. The wolf pack (That's the way the Lovebites fans are known) salutes you!! Cheers and stay safe!! 🤘🏻🐺❤
If you want one that starts off slower and hear more talent from the guitarist on the right playing the piano LOVEBITES / Edge of the World (Live at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo, Japan)(click CC for English subs!)
Very lovely reaction! The Japanese Rock/Metal scene is definitely alive and kicking. Many here will recommend more Lovebites and you can't go wrong with any of their suggestions. I'm going to recommend a different female fronted Japanese Metal band called Unlucky Morpheus. The live version of Dignity of Spirit is a nice introduction to the band. The singer Fuki has fronted at least 4 different bands and has performed with 2 bands (2hr sets with each) at the same festival on the same day 🤘😊🤘
Thanks for checking out Lovebites. The Wolfpack (Lovebites fans) are on the mission to spread the word about this amazing band. Hopefully they get the recognition they deserve. If you like power metal you're in for a treat. :) Good catches on their playing and personality. "Edge of the World" and "Swan Song" or "Epilogue" showcases Asami's vocal abilities best (not sure how well could you observe her technique through the videos however :) ) I suggest you to check any performance from their Zepp Divercity Tokyo 2020 show (released on DVD as "Five of a Kind" if you happened to stumble upon a video that has it in the title it's from the same show. ) Also the 2019 "Daughters of the Dawn" clips are quality material.
can't compare maids with lovebites. Because the playing ability, singing ability, and composition ability are different from lovebites in many stages, maids can be amateurs for lovebites, and here is the comment section of the lovebites reactor. You guys disappear, write as much as you want in the comments section of the maids.Bye-bye maids blind believers.
My taste in music is very high, today there are many Bands and singers with good vocals without good musicians, I like watching musicians and vocalists do crazy things on stage with their skills. 😁
Maybe you should check out Fuki (a Japanese female singer) from Unlucky Morpheus . Her high notes with vibrato are something you should listen to and see , especially her way of transition to high notes , it's very smooth , her posture and mouth don't change .....))
One more thing: You called her a hell-raiser--well, they have a song called "Raise some Hell!" The live version was taken down, but the album version is up with a cool slide show: ua-cam.com/video/lmzA1pBB1mI/v-deo.html
It was really fun watching how much you enjoyed these ladies! I would recommend looking up the live version of a song called Edge of the World that really puts their vocalist Asami in the spotlight.
Another great all-girl Japanese rock band I think you'd like is Band Maid. I really recommend any of their live videos, but your best starting place would probably be the live of Domination.
I think one can say that Lovebites are remaking metal and giving it an entire new lease on life. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels sent to save us, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids(!) They have themselves said in interviews that part of their mission is to save heavy metal from darkness and obscurity. Some background: They were formed from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief metalhead and soul of the band) recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuke”); they went and found the two guitarists, Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands, and the whole group then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she also trained in ballet). Miho and Miyako compose most of their music, in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer, but Midori has also been getting into the act. Asami writes a lot of the lyrics. They have only been around for just shy of 5 years. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Slayer etc. and they pretty much aced it all. This is why you immediately felt their old-school influences. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated the best of all of these bands into their arsenal, and it seems clear they’re taking it to another level. This is one of their frequent first songs for reactors, and rightly so--you get a good sense of the band. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash, and almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako (my favorite) and Midori (your favorite). The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel. Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. (As another reactor said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band.") Miyako is also a concert-level classical pianist, and some of their songs feature her on the piano. Other live songs to check out are "Edge of the World" and "We the United", back to back: ua-cam.com/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/v-deo.html They form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope. If you want to see what they do with the piano, watch “Swan Song” WITH the prelude, which is Chopin’s “Revolutionary Etude”. Miyako wrote “Swan Song” using elements from several classical pieces including the Etude. You’ll have to watch two clips back to back: ua-cam.com/video/hDBjiQI9cyc/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/uEsEWISc8Q0/v-deo.html For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” ua-cam.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/v-deo.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both) Finally, while everyone says always go with live clips, I have to say, these MV’s are epic and worth seeing: "When Destinies Align" ua-cam.com/video/hLFelI93VkM/v-deo.html "Glory to the World" ua-cam.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/v-deo.html "Winds of Transylvania" ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html. You can’t go wrong with any of their official clips. You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the sound quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!
@@hiawatha.g No worries. And thank You for putting the effort to try and guide Lovebites "newbies" to good quality uploads. Yeah it's a shame that we try to promote the band, and have our options limited. I do understand their point of getting rid of illegal uploads, but they need to find a better balance/compromise
@@taz2491 I've updated the post, hopefully all the links are right. Yes, I have actually been in contact with the Management of one of the other J-metal bands, and it's really a disconnect. They do not understand the role of youtubers in making their artists go viral. Reactions, done right, are not simple uploads, but that is how they see them.
Check also another all Japanese girls Heavy Metal Band NEMOPHILA songs Dissension, Raitei, HANABIE song MV We Love Sweets, MARY'S BLOOD song Marionette..... ;)
I don’t know if others have mentioned it so I apologize if I’m repeating what they have said. They wear white for a reason: so they can be seen! Haruna (the drummer is only 4ft 9inches, while Miyako (dark haired guitarist) is the tallest at 5ft. 2 inches! If they wore black or something dark like other bands, they’d be swallowed by the stage and gear on stage, so they wear white to be seen. Plus, they are going against the norm for metal, which everyone assumes must be black or trashy or so. They are against the norm for metal in Japan, so their statement is that they can be metal while liking to carry a Louis Vuitton purse. LoveBites can rival all of the other bands, plus do it in heels. The band: Asami (the singer) is actually a R’n’B singer, but as you can tell with her voice, it’s powerful enough to rival Bruce Dickinson from Iron Maiden… which fits the band perfectly because they are influenced by 80s power metal. The guitarists. Mindoro (the one you like) is the showman as you can tell. Miyako (the other guitarist) is the Ice Princess. Very shy, and doesn’t physically show much emotion, because she lets all of that out through her feel when playing. She’s also one of the major songwriters and a concert pianist. You’ll see that later with Revolution Etude/Swan Song. Miho (the bassist) is the mama bear. She’s the band’s leader, as she started the band with Haruna (the pocket nuke drummer). Their songs: what probably confusing you is that compared to BabyMetal or Band-Maid, where most of the girls have rather small voices and sing in Japanese, LoveBites’ songs are all in English, but Asami’s voice had a very thick English accent. That’s probably why it sounds different to you. For a more closeup of her singing, I would probably suggest any of their songs at Live from Abyss, which is in their studio. Burden of Time would be good one. Now, fair warning: they are a power metal band, but they can and do go thrash: not where they are screaming in key or a wall of noise, but they can play thrash, song gorgeously with it, and it sounds great. For that, I’d suggest Thunder Vengeance or The Awakening/Hammer of Wrath, from the same show Holy War came from, which is the Five of a Kind show, at ZeppDiver City, in Tokyo. I can’t stress this enough: AVOID ALL VIDEOS FROM BLOODSTOCK!! This is because they were moved from one stage to another at the last minute, and the sound engineer did a crappy job with the mix at that show. Finally, the Nightwish Army, Sabaton, Jinjer, Epica, and Within Temptation fans know a lot about LoveBites, because LoveBites is the only Japanese band to ever be signed to a Western world label: Nuclear Blast Records, which is the same label all of those other bands are on. Because of that, they are also able to play Bloodstock, Wacken, and other European shows.
Anyone else think Miyako is absolutely gorgeous?!?!
Yes❤
She's not too bad, but her instrumental prowess and badassness is most of her merit. Midori on the other hand is very attractive, along with all the guitar skills
@@ScoochieRAt a distance she is attractive, but have a look at a photo of her up close. She is absolutely gorgeous. Probably even more so than Midori......

LOVEBITES are the saviors of heavy metal!
Welcome to the world of LOVEBITES. Listen to my favorite "Edge of the world"(from the same concert). Their you have it all. Love from Sweden.
Lovebites Winds of Transylvania is one of their hardest/thrashest songs
I remember when I first viewed a Lovebites video, I said "Aww they're so cute they look like barbie dolls!" Then the music started and I was like, "Holy sh*t!" The guitarist with the blonde hair is Midori, BTW.
Hell yeah 🤘🏻🤘🏻
Lovebites is amazing and your reaction point it out!!!
Please, "We The United" at same show next, please, please, please 😉😬
I listen to Lovebites and cry with happiness...
I have been trying to figure out which member of the band I like best and all I can come up with is... YES!
I love this band - it is power metal! I am 61. Love it. Metal still lives.
Lovebites 🤘🎸❤️🇯🇵
I came across Lovebites around a month ago, purely by accident. 1 month later and I've a nice collection of items shipped over from Japan. They really know how to package an album...Great review of the song and performance. Enjoy!
HARUNA IS NOT HUMAN, SHE IS A MACHINE, Great reactiin mam
YOU MEAN HURRICANE HARUNA ! THAT'S WHAT I CALL HER ! SHE'S SO FAST AND PRECISE !
@@donaldvanderlinden1245 i love when you call her hurricane
Princess HARUNA is our little THUNDER BUNNY!
Edge of the world
or Swan Song have the higher notes your looking for.
And yes, Swan Song always with the Chopin Intro, i always love the faces of the reactors when they see play piano like that 😃👍
Can't really think of a higher note then the one that ends the vocals on Winds of Transylvania.
This is just the tip of the Iceberg. Enjoy the journey. There is nothing like this band.
They done a UK tour with Dragon Force i seen them in Scotland They formed in 2016 and by 2018 Lovebites quickly got international attention and won that year's Metal Hammer Golden Gods Award for Best New Band.
these ladies are frigging amazing, love them, great reaction, knew you'd love them, keep them coming
Princess Haruna just pounds you into submission with those drums !!! 🤘🤘
And she melts our hearts with her CUTENESS !!!
I want to recomended other lovebites songs
1. "Edge of the world" or "Swan Song" , if you want hear more about her voice
2. "We The United", if you want see the harmonizing guitar play.
3. "Break The Wall" or "The Hammer of Wrath" or "Winds of Transilvania", if you want see them play Thrash
4. "Epilogue", if you want see them play ballad.
5. "Raise Some Hell" or "Scream For Me", if you want see them play hard rock
6. "Glory to The World" or "When Destinies Align", if you want see them play more powermetal
No one ever recommends "Empty Daydream" except me. Shame, since it's such a fantastic song.
Thank you!
@@PaleHorseShabuShabu only the wolf hunterz has reacted to "empty day dream".
@@bonered9210, there's a few more, but it's definitely one of the more underreacted songs.
@@PaleHorseShabuShabu The piano beginning to Empty Daydream is as great as the ending of Swan Song
Good reaction!👍
and thank you, nice comments,
I mean sure, lovebites is real H/M band !!!
She looks a little silly when she does headbang, like she clearly isn't used to it. I'm glad she seems to have given it up for the most part.
Awesome reaction, this band is an amazing experience . They're just so amazing you're gonna love the rest of their music.❤❤❤
I get chills hearing them all the time they kick ass and look good doing it need to do more by them keep rocking love your outfit too
They have 3 albums 3 EP's and 3 Live albums since 2016 so they are still newer and some videos get taken down youtube style and end up being re uploaded
Thank you so much!

You should really react to Lovebites "Raise some hell" live. I think you would really enjoy that performance.
We love Lovebites, BABYMETAL, Nemophila, Aldious!!!!

LOVEBITES - Holy War lyrics:
Look at those black clouds, it’s going to rain blood
People live in fear, covered in mud
Singing oh Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters
There is a thousand, a thousand of evils
Hush, do not wake up Satan’s devils
Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for brothers
Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and all for one forevermore
Kingdom of Heaven, never shall we fall
Reincarnation, wait for your call
Singing oh, Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters
Morning star and dying moon
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Mighty soul, let there be hope
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
Stand up in the name of the God of heavy metal
What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight?
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for
Only have one thing on our mind
Facing the fate, holy war
Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for brothers
Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and for one forevermore
What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight?
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for
Only have one thing on our mind
Facing the fate, holy war

Lovebites is amazing, love this band!
She hits some high notes on Glory to the world and When Destinies Align
glad you found them and liked them. great and expertly reaction. these five musicians are something else. so is asamis voice. probably the best metal band around actually.
Love your reactions! Thank you for helping these ladies getting more exposure. The next songs you're looking for are "Epilogue", "Edge of the World", and "Swan Song". Welcome to the best metal band in the world
They deserve it!
Great reaction! "Epilogue" and "Edge of the World" provides a lot of focus on her.
this is power metal. understatement of the century ! spread the word on the band that will knock you out every time. you need more LOVEBITES in your life. and you apparently know music - you really get asami's voice on first listen. the blonde high ponytail is midori tatematsu and you can see why she would be a fan favorite.
They are the best in their respective field. I love Haruna. So much energy in a little body. ❤❤❤
I adore this band so much. Their song Rising is an emotional song for me and is may favorite.
Thank you, love your reaction and comments!
Lovebites is fantastic!
My sugestion is "Edge Of The World" you will like.
See you next. 👍
Thunder Vengeance or Break the Wall next, and congrats on finding your next favorite band lol
Thank you so much!
Thanks for reacting to the ladies...they rock, as do you! 👍💖
Yes! Great analysis of Asami's vocals! Another singer who likes her voice! 😀
LOVEBITES is still a fairly new band, celebrated their 4th anniversary not long ago. But their fanbase is growing, they are so good!
I am also a big fan of NightWish, and the funny thing is, i discovered Lovebites by chance because of a NightWish reaction! 😄
Please check out their song "Edge of the World" LIVE at Zepp DiverCity in Tokyo 2020. I think this song showcases Asami's vocals very well! Thank you!

Love these ladies. One of the best bands out there! Hopefully after this Covid is over they will be able to tour and get the recognition they so deserve! Thank you for reacting to this video.
You think the singer is tiny? The drummer is about 4'10" and the tallest member is about 5'02". Great talent in small packages 🤘😁🤘
Asamiさんの事で超褒めまくりで嬉しい!
Lineup:
Haruna - Drums
Miho - Bass, backing vocals
Midori - Lead & rhythm guitar, backing vocals
Miyako - Lead & rhythm guitar, keyboards, classical piano, backing vocals
Asami - Lead vocals

Edge of the world. For her vocals, and Swan Song-Miyako, solo, etude.

The singer Fuki has fronted at least 4 different bands and has performed with 2 bands (2hr sets with each) at the same festival on the same day 🤘😊🤘
Dignity of Spirit Live is an excellent choice!
@The True MRH Yes! You can't go wrong with any Unlucky Morpheus song. I feel that Fuki uses more of her range in Dignity of Spirit 🤘😊🤘
Thanks for checking out Lovebites. The Wolfpack (Lovebites fans) are on the mission to spread the word about this amazing band. Hopefully they get the recognition they deserve.
If you like power metal you're in for a treat. :) Good catches on their playing and personality.
"Edge of the World" and "Swan Song" or "Epilogue" showcases Asami's vocal abilities best (not sure how well could you observe her technique through the videos however :) ) I suggest you to check any performance from their Zepp Divercity Tokyo 2020 show (released on DVD as "Five of a Kind" if you happened to stumble upon a video that has it in the title it's from the same show. ) Also the 2019 "Daughters of the Dawn" clips are quality material.
great reaction
Also try these Japanese female bands: Band-Maid, Bridear, Mary's Blood, Cyntia.
can't compare maids with lovebites.
Yeah, that would be cool. Fuki has an amazing voice.
One more thing: You called her a hell-raiser--well, they have a song called "Raise some Hell!" The live version was taken down, but the album version is up with a cool slide show: ua-cam.com/video/lmzA1pBB1mI/v-deo.html
Great reaction madaam.
According to The Range Planet, Asami's vocal range is D3 - B♭5.
Their motto: We’re not here to be cute, we’re here to be heavy.
But haruna is supercute 🤣
@@pattymeals2395 She is 10/10 cute! 🙂👍
Nobody can be cuter 😃
We are Lovebites and we play heavy metal!!..
Its more like "Only because we are cute doesn't mean we can't be heavy" 😍🤘🏼
I think one can say that Lovebites are remaking metal and giving it an entire new lease on life. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels sent to save us, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids(!) They have themselves said in interviews that part of their mission is to save heavy metal from darkness and obscurity. Some background:
They were formed from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981).
You’ll have to watch two clips back to back: ua-cam.com/video/hDBjiQI9cyc/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/uEsEWISc8Q0/v-deo.html
For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” ua-cam.com/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/v-deo.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both)
Finally, while everyone says always go with live clips, I have to say, these MV’s are epic and worth seeing:
"When Destinies Align" ua-cam.com/video/hLFelI93VkM/v-deo.html
"Glory to the World" ua-cam.com/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/v-deo.html
"Winds of Transylvania" ua-cam.com/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/v-deo.html.
You can’t go wrong with any of their official clips.
You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the sound quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!
Thanks! 🙂👍
Awesome info on the band, but please update the links. Lot of the videos were removed recently from yt. :(
@@taz2491 yes it's tough to keep up, but thanks for the heads-up
@@hiawatha.g No worries.
Great comment! Lots of great info! 🙂👍
You mean Midori. But yeah, good comment.
