I personally don't care for Carol of The Bells. However I absolutely love love love Geoff's version. The last time I looked awhile ago Geoff had 1.1M likes on this video since he released December 6th. Geoff said that he doesn't like this song because it's too repetitive. Even after doing this video. He was working on a different song when his "boss" told him no. That he was doing this. He just said ok. His boss is his wife Kathy. She is also Production Manager for Geoff and Voiceplay. She can be seen doing cameo's in several Geoff and Voiceplay videos. As well as in Pattycake Productions videos.

That album cover of Crosby Stills and Nash that you used in the announcemet, had the picture taken by a friend before they officially formed as a band. In the picture it is actually Nash, Stills and then Crosby. At first they thought of reversing the photo but that would have meant that Stephen Stills was playing left handed. That wouldn't fly. So they decided to go back to the house and reshoot the photo with them sitting in the right order, but the house had been demolished. So they just decided to go with what they had.

Happy Holidays Jenn and thank you a LOT for this xmas gift of a Geoff double feature! ❤ Blue Christmas was a bit unexpected, but very fun indeed. And it is a very nice contrast to the EPIC rendition of Carol of the Bells. I admit, l am more of a mean old Mr. Grinch, so traditional Christmas music & carols are... difficult for me at best. But off beat approaches like VPs Zat You Santa or Geoffs Blue Christmas here are more my alley. And seeing Kathy together with Geoff always warms my heart and reminds me, there is still love & wholesomeness in the world. But all that pales in comparison to Geoffs version of the ukrainian Bell Carol, a song l usually don't care about. This GOTH version of a carol, eerily haunting & sinister, yet drop dead gorgeous at the same time, THIS I can relate to! For me it is a carol sung as a war anthem, a carol of a nation defending itself against a superior foe invading them. I don't know if that was the intention, but seeing the blue/yellow color scheme in decorations, lighting & clothes, as well as the broken church bells in the cover art let me think so... Anyway, here l finally found a trad carol l really like, l am almost addicted to it. Thanks to Geoff, for this amazing & powerfull piece of music, and to you for putting it into your already full😮 schedule. Good Yule! ❤

Hey Jenn! Thanks for reacting to my suggestion! I just love this song by Sabaton but I have never watched their history channel backstory, very interesting! Plus we get to see Par discussing the creative process! When you get the chance you should hear Tommy's version, very different sounding with his beautiful voice but also very heartfelt. I also agree with what you were saying about people who make snarky comments, but I have to feel sorry for them because all the negativity is in their minds and they are the ones who have to live with it day in and day out! Thanks for your double reaction to Geoff's solo Christmas tunes from last year and his epic one for this year. Geoff's voiceover in Blue Christmas was his and definitely mocking familiar country music tropes. Always enjoy it when Kathy has a cameo with either Geoff or VoicePlay. "Carol of the Bells" has been out a little over two weeks and exceeded one million UA-cam views yesterday. I have run out of superlatives! A five octave vocal range is a powerful thing. I enjoy the unexpected ways that Geoff arranges music nearly as much as his vocals. Judging by his album art, the Geoffquakes did some damage!

It doesn't take long to turn you into a suicidal maniac. I only lost one friend on a combat patrol before i cemented myself as the "i'll stick my head out first" guy. I still consider my voice the strongest weapon in my arsenal.
