I first did all the steps and nothing worked, then I started reading the comments and one of them said to keep alternating between resetting the network and smacking the phone on the palm of your hand in various places and it fricking WORKED!
Thank you so much! The "reset network settings" thing worked for me! Super nice that I got it fixed since I am travelling tomorrow (not far, just back home after xmas holidays, but still; I need my phone for bus tickets etc...). Thank god for videos like this!!
It worked!! I did al the steps the first time, it didnt work, but i ended up having to remove the tray and wiping the slot down to clean all the dust and grime on it!! then used the reset network method and it worked out!
I was almost going to take the iPhone to a repair centre! As the SIM worked on another iPhone I knew it could not be the card! The reset worked 🙏 Thank you so much 👍👍👍. God know what the repair would have charged me for spurious doing this technique and saying we replaced the SIM reader 😳.
@@snxpz5470 Sorry to hear that. With my daughters phone we did the Network reset (NOT phone reset!) and it worked. Your last option is to do a factory reset, if everything fails on the video 🙏.
My cellular network keep going off and on. Sometimes when it goes off my phone get stuck in a restart loop. Please help, is this method also applicable to me ?

Hey idk what is wrong with my iphone 12. Basically i got this phone at the t mobile shop and it came with a sprint sim card inside of it. That one works fine but the t mobile one that they gave me in the box doesnt. I have bars and it doesnt say anything but nothing loads. Any fix for that?
was ur phone on sos mode and sayinf set up cellular data? cuz my phones i doing that and i don’t want to take out the sim card unless other people had the same proble

Its not the card that is a problem, its the reader. The card inserted or not, the iphone doesnt respond to the sim being in or out, and has no signal. I tried another sim card, and same thing.
I cannot remmeber which fix eventually did it, but I kept searching and by the 3rd different fix, I was able to get it working. It was for someone else, not my phone. Cheers, best of luck. @@tashanneclarke2212
For a second there I thought there was no way i was gonna go mike tyson on my phone. But i just took out the sim and wiped it with my thumb and that worked. So thank you sir!
Tried it all in the end i put it in airplane mode and when i clicked it out the screen would show no sim but as i done this i smacked it up and down on my sofa arm and wow it worked thanks guys

Just rub it well and it should work especially if you tried another SIM card and it worked :) *One last advice* : the final step in the video is not recommended to do it too hard, because it might damage the internal components like the camera lens or whatever. My eSim (T-Mobile, USA) is not working, after turning off/turning on I get a signal and connection, but only for 30 seconds, after which all signal and connection disappeared. I am abroad, and I am using a local provider's physical Sim card as a second line. My device is working properly. I spent over 6 hours talking T-mobile technical team, but no result. You’re the man!! Thank you so much!! What did it for me was the second time, I took out the SIM card and blew on it hard. Then I restarted it. As it was restarting, I used the tap and smack method especially on the SIM card side. Out of nowhere, I saw my carrier’s name on the upper left-hand corner.

My husband's phone was in sos mode also. Taking the sim card out and rubbing it worked!
