    I have no end of hell trying to figure them out. I know they’re really simple but I make it hard. I’d gladly watch ALL the vids you put out on the spectrum.

      This one was probably the hardest UMX to set up. I'm no expert myself but if it helps I will try and make more videos of this type.

    Thank you so much! I had to watch how to activate the flaperon/spoileron setup. You made very simple to understand. I do feel the manuals setting is inaccurate on the Flap setting. The 45% flap was right, but they call for -17% elevator. On my NX-10, I had to do (positive) 17% to get the elevator to go down to counter the nose up tendency when lowering the flaps. This plane is amazing! Thanks again!

      I'm glad it helped, I don't usually do this type of video but I felt this one is a bit more confusing to set up.
      It is great, I really enjoy mine. Thanks for watching!

    Good day everyone.
    For people using EdgeTX radio like TX16S or Zorro.
    Here the set up:
    Protocol : Mode=Multi / Type=DSM / Subtype=X 2F
    Inputs: channel 1-4=AETR / Channel 5= Safe-AS3X / Channel 6=Flaperon
    - Follow flaperon Advance setup in the manual to activate it on ur TX, it works well.
    Hope it helps some of you.
    Have fun and more flight powerrrr.
    😊

      Hi Alex, Noel here in Oz. Do you have the Mobius 808 32 17 gram HD camera? This would be perfect for the UmX & i will use it on mine when it arrives.

    On a good day i cant get close to hour long flights gliding on a single pack and climb (just riding thermals). Seems that you could maybe get a little longer flight times if you disabled asx and safe and were good at riding thermals, however with asx activated during glinding a hour is all i get while gliding before the servos drain the battery to around 7.2 v. I use about have that deflection with flaps and use it just for a little extra lift when in thermals. Spoilerons are a must if you intentend to ride thermals or wind as the model is so light, you can loose it to the elements . Great little plane. Flight times of 30 plus minutes riding thermals is easy.

      I just tried it a few days ago for the first time, it was a bit windy and I would just climb then glide it down, got to 29 minutes of flight time. It was fun, if I tried harder I probably could have gotten more.

    I’m really struggling to set this up on my dx8g2. Any chance you could help me set expo and rates?

    • @A.M.-RC
      @A.M.-RC  9 днів тому

      Did you check from minute 11? That's where I set those up, if not identical the DX should be very similar.

    • @whoisthispianist194
      @whoisthispianist194 9 днів тому

      @ yes I watched that. It is similar yes, but the differences have me very confused.
      It would probably be easiest if I made
      A video, but how could I send it to you?
      In:
      rates & expo
      Channel: Aileron
      Curve: Inh
      Switch: Switch F
      012
      ^
      rates & expo
      Channel: Aileron
      Curve: 2
      Switch: Switch F
      0 1 2
      ^
      In the above, numbers 1 and 2 are highlighted at the same time, so when I switch to 2 I can’t seem to change the settings. Numbers 1 and 2 appear to be locked together somehow.
      It seems to me from your video that switch F position 1 and position 0 is your “low” rate, and position 2 is your “high” rate. Is that right?

    • @A.M.-RC
      @A.M.-RC  8 днів тому +1

      @@whoisthispianist194 sorry, I just now saw your reply.
      Are you using a 2 position switch? That might be why it highlights 1 and 2 together. I use a 3 position for high mid and low rates.
      Also where it says curve try selecting it and select 1 for example.
      With the switch selected move it to position 0 and adjust rate and expo.
      Then move the switch to position 1 ( after that also pos 2 if using 3 position switch) and set up mid/low rates.
      Then when you move the switch it should toggle between them.
      Hope this helps.
      And if not I wouldn't worry too much about it, it's so easy to fly you shouldn't have problems even with full rates.

    Hi, nice video! Thank you! Do you know how to get rid of this battery telemetry alert with non-Spektrum batteries?

    • @A.M.-RC
      @A.M.-RC  9 місяців тому

      Thanks, I'm always happy if I can help. If you mean the alert not charged for flying when you power it up, go to telemetry > smart battery > startup volts min and set it to something lower, like 4.00 volts.
      It doesn't matter what battery you use, Spectrum in this size are not smart either, it just reads the voltage and usually it's a bit lower than 4.2 per cell.
      I think it's still a good feature to have, set as I said around 4 volts, if you fly multiple batteries and take a discharged one by mistake it will let you know.

    • @xorlevrai

      Thank you for your answer 👍🏻 the problem is I have this alarm Even if my battery is fully loaded 🤔

    • @A.M.-RC
      @A.M.-RC  9 місяців тому

      @@xorlevrai before you fly, right after you plug it in, right?
      If so try what I mentioned above, it happens to me sometimes also, some chargers might not be perfectly calibrated so they say battery is full but maybe it's 4.18V not 4.2, or maybe the sensor inside the plane.
