I have no end of hell trying to figure them out. I know they’re really simple but I make it hard. I’d gladly watch ALL the vids you put out on the spectrum.
Thank you so much! I had to watch how to activate the flaperon/spoileron setup. You made very simple to understand. I do feel the manuals setting is inaccurate on the Flap setting. The 45% flap was right, but they call for -17% elevator. On my NX-10, I had to do (positive) 17% to get the elevator to go down to counter the nose up tendency when lowering the flaps. This plane is amazing! Thanks again!
I'm glad it helped, I don't usually do this type of video but I felt this one is a bit more confusing to set up. It is great, I really enjoy mine. Thanks for watching!

Thanks, and I'm glad if it helps. I did forget to show control surface adjustment, didn't look like it needed it but I did it after the first flight, one aileron was a bit off. Enjoy your new plane and if you have any questions let me know, I'm not an expert but I do like helping out when I can.

Thanks Randy, I may not be Brian Philips but if it helps someone I'll be happy. I did the maiden, but only 2s for now, I can tell it's a great plane, waiting for 3s to really see what it can do.
On a good day i cant get close to hour long flights gliding on a single pack and climb (just riding thermals). Seems that you could maybe get a little longer flight times if you disabled asx and safe and were good at riding thermals, however with asx activated during glinding a hour is all i get while gliding before the servos drain the battery to around 7.2 v. I use about have that deflection with flaps and use it just for a little extra lift when in thermals. Spoilerons are a must if you intentend to ride thermals or wind as the model is so light, you can loose it to the elements . Great little plane. Flight times of 30 plus minutes riding thermals is easy.
I just tried it a few days ago for the first time, it was a bit windy and I would just climb then glide it down, got to 29 minutes of flight time. It was fun, if I tried harder I probably could have gotten more.
Hi Alex, Can you please do me a favour & advise the 4 colour wire location on the UMX Conscendo wing plug connector with the lock lip (connector) facing left. Many thanks as mine came apart. Regards

@@whoisthispianist194 sorry, I just now saw your reply. Are you using a 2 position switch? That might be why it highlights 1 and 2 together. I use a 3 position for high mid and low rates. Also where it says curve try selecting it and select 1 for example. With the switch selected move it to position 0 and adjust rate and expo. Then move the switch to position 1 ( after that also pos 2 if using 3 position switch) and set up mid/low rates. Then when you move the switch it should toggle between them. Hope this helps. And if not I wouldn't worry too much about it, it's so easy to fly you shouldn't have problems even with full rates.
Thanks, I'm always happy if I can help. If you mean the alert not charged for flying when you power it up, go to telemetry > smart battery > startup volts min and set it to something lower, like 4.00 volts. It doesn't matter what battery you use, Spectrum in this size are not smart either, it just reads the voltage and usually it's a bit lower than 4.2 per cell. I think it's still a good feature to have, set as I said around 4 volts, if you fly multiple batteries and take a discharged one by mistake it will let you know.
@@xorlevrai before you fly, right after you plug it in, right? If so try what I mentioned above, it happens to me sometimes also, some chargers might not be perfectly calibrated so they say battery is full but maybe it's 4.18V not 4.2, or maybe the sensor inside the plane.

She got it for me for Christmas
