Did the same a few months ago, just differently. My red lights are mounted on the trailing edge of the wings and there's a molex plug spliced into my nose lights. It helps to keep the wing detachable. It's even easier adding lights to the UMX P51 Voodoo & UMX A-10. You can have yourself a fleet of fast night flyers !!
Nice job on the lights! I'd love to find a way to not have to create a channel around the side of the airframe but that works. Thanks for sharing the idea.
Close...i ran the wire for the undercarriage through the fuse by pulling a thin wire through first. And the top mounted light is in the fuse as well. I also moved the connector to the wing ao you can still remove the wing for boxing and / or transporting. Im thinking ill move the white nose lights to the wing as landing lights. No visible wires!!!
Good job, thanks for sharing. 👍🏻
Sick looks 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

@Drones_Eye_View you drill a small hole push wire through and pull the light BACK through. Worked for me

@@JeWCyDuDe that's a great idea.
Love this video and the idea of the landing lights. Would you mind posting a few pictures of how you did it and where you ran the wires?
