Ok, so here I am searching UA-cam for info on the UMX Consendo and this pops up... you got my attention and it looks like a cool thing. Subscribed. Now just waiting on the flight footage. Ok... where is it? I search you channel and nope... not there... ok have you posted it yet? ... ok what about now?..... still waiting..... now? ....nope.... ok now? Come on guys you can't leave me hangin like this.... now? .... this is taking FOREVER!!!! .... ok ... now? ok .... I'lll just wait here... anytime now.... LOL.... Seriously, nice video and looking forward to seeing the inflight. .
Hahaha your comment made my day! The weather here for the past week has been rainy and sad, so we are hoping to maiden tomorrow and get the video up this weekend!
I'm also waiting for the UA-cam video of their flights I have the same setup I want to see if that little camera stays on the airplane in a high-speed drive. Just waiting for the wires to come in
Thanks for sharing! I am going to be trying this once I get the plane, and also set up my old UMX Timber for FPV as well. Thanks for the camera set up instructions!
@@InvertedAviatorsRC it's sunny skies here but too cold lots of frost on the ground Merry Christmas guys have a great day. Hopefully Santa Claus brings you some more airplanes😜🤪😉
@@InvertedAviatorsRC till you get too many and you have to start paying storage like I do😜😗😉. But I still keep buying more and the parts to go with them😝 I have like 30 or 40 now I lost count. My ix12 screwed up and I got to reprogram all my models
Are you guys going to show how you adjust the camera?nice video. instead of it being all washed out. That's a part of this video that I was waiting for I already did everything else. Have fun stay safe have a great Christmas
What do you mean adjust the camera? The micro camera doesn’t have any adjustments you can make, and out of the box it is really clear. On some goggles you can adjust the brightness and contrast, but that is independent from the camera itself. What kind of goggles do you use?
Oh perfect we use that too! So once you are using the analog adapter (through the AV-IN option), you can use the joystick on the goggles to change the brightness and contrast of the video feed. The “perfect” settings for any flight will be different, but it’s pretty easy to make the colors look a little nicer! Feel free to reach out if you have any more questions!
We chose this camera due to its incredibly lightweight design, combined with its long range for its size, as well as the AIO camera and vtx system. While the Runcam Racer 3 might give you a little better camera quality, you would also have to add an additional video transmitter in order to send the camera signal to your goggles. With this plane being a super lightweight glider, we're trying to cut down on weight in every way possible, so in our opinion the WolfWhoop Wt03 is by far the best option! Let us know if you have any more questions!
I’m close to getting a new plane and this couldn’t come at a better time . I’m excited to add fpv to mine . Does the camera work with any receiver with and extra pwm port ?
Oh yeah it’ll work! We’ve done it on an Evo, a Timber X, an FT Guinea pig, a few custom planes, and a UMX Cessna! Stay tuned for the Conscendo as well! Just make sure you have either a battery or a wire connector to the board of the plane to power the camera and you’ll be good to go!
I had thought about doing this after I watched your UMX Turbo Timber Evo video. This is going to be awesome! Thanks for the Tx setup and soldering tips as well. Can't wait to watch the videos.
I think it’s more likely that you fry the camera. If you have a smokestopper or a multimeter you could double check to make sure you are getting the right power from the wires
Is this plane supposed to go on an upward climb at almost like a 60 degree angle when you have it at 50% throttle? If I do a full throttle pass in safe mode it will try to loop at much as it can with SAFE on. I have to literally hold the elevator down to make it fly straight. When you go 100% on throttle do you use the transmitter to nose down all the way to prevent it from going in a loop?
It might have a little upwards angle while punching out, but it for sure shouldn't be at a 60 degree angle. CG has a very large effect on the elevator, and if you're having issues with it climbing you should do some in-flight CG tests to see if you've got the CG correct. Also, remember that you must shut off SAFE to get your plane set up correctly. You can't trim or test CG with SAFE active.

Yes absolutely! Hopefully things were clear enough in the video to replicate the mod, but if it wasn’t feel free to reach out!
Dang, putting the fpv camera on the conscendo is an awesome idea. I like how you hid the cords inside too. Great vid!
Thank you very much! If you do the mod let us know how it worked for you!
Good video lesson. Looking forward to flight video. 👍🏻🙂🎄🎅🏻 Merry Christmas, guys!
Merry Christmas thank you very much!!!

Thank you very much and happy new year to you too!

@jamesturncliff5960 do you do fpv on any of them? If you haven’t flown one in a while, it could be fun to break it out and toss a camera on the top!

Yep! All it needs is a power and a ground and it should be good to go!
Will this same idea work on other rc planes? I want to try this on my Sport Cub.

Yeah we’re super excited to maiden this bird! It is such an easy mod to add on the fpv camera, and it just adds so much to the flying experience!
Just setting mine up and there is a picture of a conventional powered glider instead of a T-tail if you scroll a bit further!
Ah I don’t know how we didn’t see it! Thanks for the tip!
So for the camera, it's definitely red to black and black to red, could I blow the flight board doing that should it be different ?
