Another thing to consider when adjusting control servo horns from stock is that the AS3X gyro is pre calibrated to the standard setting. So it may be over-correcting now. Im pretty sure you can adjust the gyro if needed. Nice video by the way 👍🏿
Looks so much fun. Getting rather biased toward this glider. Was looking at cheaper Prime T1400 PNP with a larger wing span. This might be better in smaller areas and is capable as an introduction glider.
Yeah the UMX Conscendo is one of our favorites, and it glides like a dream. We also have a few videos flying this guy on 4S, and it gets cooking there too! If you want both a smooth glider and a ridiculously fast bird, the UMX Conscendo is the way to go
THANKS a Million for that set, Mixing Mod. It will do into use on several of my airplanes. Also. Do you know of anybody that flies this on a 3s "250" Battery. Let me know please.
You made a great video! I really like how yoou put the Tx in the picture while flying. I just bought this UMX, just need to set it up and go fly. I do not like safe and as3x, I am not a Spktrum guy at all as I fly open TX using all ELRS tech. Thank you so much for this video, it was great!
Thank you very much! Yeah I think it’s fun to see the sticks while I’m doing some wild aerobatics. Do you change the reciever that comes in the UMX conscendo, or are you using ELRS with the stock reciever?
@@InvertedAviatorsRCI tried to follow your video about programming the up elevator mix on my NX8, but it isn’t showing up on my monitor. Any suggestions on what I may be doing wrong?
Oh bummer! I'm not brushed up on the NX8, but I'm more than happy to help you trouble shoot! I think posting in our discord would be the easiest way to figure it out!
It is not uncommon to have to change control settings on a glider depending on wind and thermal lift. If you are having to add constant input, change your settings as needed. Unlike a regular plane, gliders require changes in your settings. If you slope soar, you will also need to change things.
Hey! The yaw string on a glider shows the pilot if the flight is coordinated. When the string points straight back, the glider is flying efficiently in the wind. If it deflects to the side, it means the glider is slipping or skidding, and the pilot needs to adjust the rudder to get back to balanced flight. It's a simple, reliable tool for better performance and safety. We wanted to add it onto the umx conscendo to help glide for longer!
I love that yaw string. It seemed to be working even in that super strong wind!
Yeah it works pretty well despite being just a tiny piece of string

Oh I didn't know that! Yeah I've noticed a little shakyness when flying, so I'll look into it. Thank you!

Thank you for mentioning me in your video I am honored😊 string might be a little stiff
Yes of course! You're constantly the first viewer and commenter, and we really appreciate the support :)

Yeah no problem! I’ve for sure heard of people using a 250 mah battery. It’ll be a little lighter so it’ll be nice for a glide.
What is the size of the driver to fit in the aileron adjustment?
Looks like an H1.5
Experience thecnologie ! Nice ! 💙✈️👍
Thank you sir! Let us know if you have any questions!

Love your mod ideas and explanation, especially the radio set up. I will probably try making a few changes on my glider. 👍🏻🙂
Yeah absolutely! These changes were pretty easy, and they make the UMX Conscendo a lot more fun!

@@InvertedAviatorsRC I think I’ve got it figured out, but weather has not cooperated to test.
Huh what was the fix?
how do you power that little fpv camera? it is only good for 5.5V, and you plugged in a 3S battery, correct?
nevermind..i found your other video..just got the little fpv camera ordered!!
Glad you got it figured out! Let us know if you have any questions and happy flying!

Yeah having a "glide mode" switch is super handy, and when I went flying the other day it was so nice to just flip it on and float around!
Alright what is the purpose of the string??

Guess who was first
Hmmmmm this is a tough one 😉
