The only integrated graphics solutions that came close to the GeForce 210/8400 were the GeForce 9400 IGP and GeForce 320 IGP (both part of the Ion platform and used in some Core 2 Apple products from late 2008 until everything moved to Sandy Bridge). Maybe the ATI Xpress 3200 as well, but I’m not sure it supported DX10.

I build a Athlon II X3 435( with a 4th unlockable core)+ motherboard and a GTX 465 for about 50 euros, I used a HDD I basically got for free with some ram I also got for free, a case for 10 bucks and yeah the psu I initially got for free but I had a really loud pop when I was overclocking, and after swapping out some parts it appears the psu might have died.
I'm gonna try it in a couple of minutes and see if that thing works again it's some old generic PSU that gives 450W which should have been plenty for the set up, it uses around 350-380W max if I recall correctly.
Also I think it's probably dead I've had bad stuff with computers before but it was hella loud and yeah luckily nothing but that got damaged everything else is running as it Should.
But ignoring the hick ups it's still really good for gaming ( less good for general usuage cuz if the hdd but a SSD would definitely fix that.)
I can play most games on medium settings around 60fps( kinda depends what game exactly but deep rock galactic runs with medium and ultra settings ( textures in ultra the rest in medium).
It did get a bit more expensive but the psu but before that it was a great deal. Still is a fun build though

I have a laptop 1650, so if you have a desktop variant than you are probably faster, but mine performs pretty well. Probably the best graphics card that power supply will support is a low profile GT 1030 DDR5, but a low profile RX 550 *may* work (50W TDP), but out of price range for this PC. Definitely upgrade to 8GB of PC6400 RAM for only $20 USD. Finally, you can upgrade the CPU to a Core 2 Quad Q9650. I'm really happy with this system since upgrading to SSD.

Ha, I have one of these under my TV as a HTPC, i added a hd5450 to help with the media decode and that was about everything i needed for streaming stuff. Protip: For upgrade path they do actually support the Q6600 but only the SLACR 95w version, but it does mean you can go up to 4 cores which does make games like CSGO a lot less of a lagfest.

lol i got one of these for my office and did exactly that - Stuck a Q8300 in it (£6.50 courtesy of CeX), a 120gb SSD (have a bunch lying around doing nothing), an extra 4GB RAM (£1.50 each from CeX for 8 total in a 4 x 2GB config) and a 4GB Nvidia GTX745 (again, thanks to a cockup by CeX where I got the 4GB variant instead of a 2GB one which I had actually paid for). Not exactly what I or anyone else would call amazing at gaming (can barely manage 720p low settings @30fps playing Forza Horizon 4), but it is perfect for office multitasking, and thanks to the 745 i run a dual monitor setup.

I have one of these I am using as a media machine on a TV, but it could, in fact, be used for light gaming if you upgrade/mod it a bit. I flashed a custom BIOS on mine and installed a cheap quad-core Xeon along with 8GB of DDR3 RAM. I added a $5 Radeon HD 7450, that I have a few of lying around anyway, for some basic graphics output. It can actually run some old or simple games OK, despite being an aging, weaker OEM card. It's only 25w, so besides fitting in the half-height slot, it can run off the low MB PCIe power. I would suggest something else though if intended for light gaming, perhaps the Nvidia GT 1030 variant with DDR4 RAM. While inferior to the normal GT 1030, it only requires 20W draw from the PCIe slot.

I bought a 760 locally for NZ$20 (~US$12.50) shipped that came with 4 GB RAM and a 320 GB HDD. You can remove the DVD drive and replace it with an SSD using a laptop ODD adapter, and you can replace the CPU with a modded Xeon 3300/5400 series from AliExpress for anywhere between $5 and $20. The X3363 is the most compatible, and the E/X5450 is the best value; just make sure you avoid the 400 MHz FSB models that end in 2, and remember to update the BIOS.

Oh and all in a nice Cooler Master Case with 120'' fan included in the case. That was hilarius since the seller discount me 10-15€ without say nothing to him and looks very relieved after sell it. I haven't so much experience with used stuff and craiglist, initially i think he is gonna scam me but the setup after some cleaning and maintenance works well. It's nice to be lucky sometimes and find decent deals like UK and US UA-camrs. In my country the same pc only (same parts used/refurbished) cost easily almost 200€.

Not bad at all, especially that it has a mouse, keyboard and monitor included, and a wi-fi adapter :)
That was probably an older Wi-Fi 802.11n 2.4GHz only adapter (I have a few myself) which is fine for most things. Of course if you want the best performance and don't want Ethernet, use a PCI card, not that you'll fit one in that case!
The mouse looked to be a modern HP (my university has loads of those HP laser mice) but I'm not liking the Windows XP based clunky keyboard! That would have to go.
And the legacy Dell monitor? Ok for the basics. Not my preferred type of monitor (not widescreen), but it'll do :)

there may be a latch to pul back in order to re-seat the side panel. IIRC, it may be built into the padlock loop (the piece f metal with a hole on chassis and panel). I work in IT repair, 20+ years now, these were pretty standard machines for the state of CT, and again iirc, that side panel needs a lever that is hidden as part of the mechanism for locking up the case.
