    Nice test. Range is reasonable for the level of performance. If this helps convert some petrol heads to electric, why not. At least, it's only noisy on the inside...You should check out Misha Charoudin testing this car on the Nurburgring: The INSANE Hyundai IONIQ 5 N // REAL Nürburgring Performance!

Bravo to Hyundai for offering this car. But it’s a track plaything really isn’t it! With such poor range and sporty set-up compared to a normal Ioniq5, it’s not viable as a daily EV is it?

    The efficiency is very poor for this car, 280 Wh/km at 130 kmh is quite high, would be good to compare with model 3 performance

      Well, what would you expect from a barn on batteries? :)
      I don't know why they waste so many resources for such shitty cars like these, when they can make a really efficient and more affordable car.

      If you need more range... than you have a choice...Ioniq5 rwd.. with the new 84kw battery..it can goes 450km at 130km/h easily.... its co sumption is around 17-18kw/h .. than..if you like to have fun..like me..choose the 5N..like me..and not talk about efficiency.
      If you meet your friend who have a 911.. nobody talk about fuel consumtion....🤷‍♂️

    • @RupOase
      @RupOase 11 днів тому

      @@Master321v it's not that simple as you may think so.
      I've never driven RWD cars, only FWD, because that's far better on snow than RWD. I'm actually considering an AWD car, to replace my only car.
      There are cars which beat the new Ioniq lineup hands-down, but I fell comfortable with their assistance systems.
      I need the space, as I'm young and will have a greater family in the future.
      The barn shape is the issue.
      That 911 friend of mine doesn't complain about fuel efficiency because those cars have better aerodynamics than even this barn on batteries, and he doesn't drive it like a mad maniac on public streets, just to have fun.
      When he wants to have fun, he's on the track with a dedicated car, never on the streets.

    So, it seems it's just an expensive toy. 28 kwh/100 km!!! WOW! That is insane! You cannot even think to compare it to a Tesla, not even a performance model. Too bad. That is why nobody, still, cannot compete with Tesla in price/performance/range/consumption/equipment
