Suga explained about this song have story one year later this song as album released ( later MAMA speech). They had really hard time and talking about disband. And Suga told them listen to this song. The time all vocal members never heard this song. Start playing this song and all members crying. Sorry my English my English is not good. After we heard Suga's story many ARMYs were re-listening this song and crying.
OMG i can't believe i forgot to comment on your face Andrew when Hobi tore down the stage there with his ending part of the song. I distinctly remember when you said "i'm hoping that [Hobi] finishes off the song" when you paused between his and Suga's part, and in my mind i just went "you have no idea just how he's going to get off right now"... and then your face got longer and longer and longer 🤣
7:45 i agree! rather than sounding "angry" it sounded more like a cry of his heart since he is genuinely pouring out his emotions in this performance and lyrics
thats what i'm saying. i remember straight up crying when the album was released and there were no lyrics out yet for this song. I WAS SO OVERHWELMED. i was thinking they spit like they always do but the emotions sound so raw and intense that I couldn't help it. after finding out whats behind the song i get why i felt this way.
If you want to continue delving into their 2018 difficulties and how they got through, there are 3 key vlogs recorded in 2018 but not released until 2019, which you can find on BangtanTV using the following date formatting: Jimin's vlog recorded 180413, uploaded on 190225. Hobi's vlog recorded 180426 and uploaded on 190302. RM's vlog recorded 180511 and uploaded on 190330. These are all very vulnerable, and RM especially talks about the Tear album. And during the June 2018 Feta dinner, Yoongi shared that a breaking point for him was after their first performance at an American music show, the AMAs, in Nov 2017. Afterward he cried in his hotel shower, terrified of the pressure of how big they were becoming , knowing they'd just hit a turning point and their whole trajectory was changing. They share all these vulnerable feelings with us, and it's a huge reason why our bond runs so deep.
I love that they each took their own angle in the song. RM tear is sorrow, Suga just wants them to get it over with and tear his heart out, JHope was experiencing fear of losing everything. I can never get enough of this song.
J-Hope ALWAYS makes me cry and I can't ever get over it! The emotions poured into it, it shook me and honestly, it's just everything you'd want when you listen to a song. With Namjoon's lyricism and SUGA's grit and flow, it's a deadly trio to any mix.
I saw them perform Outro: Tear several times in concert, and I basically didn't breathe through the entire song. It's all the more incredible when you realize that this was toward the end of the whole concert and they had to already be SO exhausted every time, yet they maintained this level of intensity every single concert. Unreal. Beyond that, I can't really imagine what it had to be like reliving these emotions every time, but this is why BTS is so incredible. And I'm so glad they're still with us.
I did not expect to cry so early today 😭😭 Outro: Tear is my favorite rap line song. It so emotional and raw that when they first heard it, they cried. And then when you consider that they thought of disbanding makes me want to cry every time. Plus this performance >>> RM speaks on a tear, Suga takes on a different version of the word as tear (like ripping something apart), and Jhope’s part of the song uses both RM and Suga’s words to express his word, fear. Hobi’s part is honestly my favorite, he was the perfect choice to end the song on. The speech 😭😭😭 I will never not cry to that! I love how you guys had Rosie and Winnie for emotional support lol relatable. The second hobi started crying and V started sobbing I was already in rivers of tears. And Caitlin’s right, they do give more time to speak in these award shows whereas the US award shows, you’re literally given 30 seconds to a minute to speak
the speech is emotional but there are clips of the members backstage after their win and it hits harder because it shows them discussing how hobi's speech made them feel. these guys are something different. 💜
I remember watching a "behind the scenes" of that award show and Tae was sobbing for a long time after they left the stage. What an emotional day for them. Thanks for reacting.
It’s pain…you can feel Yoongi’s pain, you can hear it in his voice, and feel it is his lyrics - he is deeply wounded, so raw, in terrible pain, in Outro Tear, and in First Love, and in The Last…This is why he is my bias, I feel him in my soul, his music touches my heart in a way that no other music has. But Hobi, here, when he ends this song - absolutely destroys me - every single time. I was at Wembley, and although I was miles from the stage, I am still very grateful that I got to see our rap line perform this masterpiece live. And again, Hobi, when his face crumples during this acceptance speech - it’s game over for me 💔🥲 Thank you both. 💜💜 P. S. Oh boy, a double tear-jerker for me. Outro: Tear is so emotional and heartfelt from the 3 great rappers, and then the award show acceptance speech starts me crying as soon as J-Hope starts. Argh! I'm do thankful they were able to get beyond whatever their main issues were at the time and stay together, or I may not have found them to be honest. I'm a May 2021 newbie and new ARMY. You're doggies are adorable. :)
Wow. You guys really picked a tear jerker with these 2 videos. 😭 I think these moments are part of why we love them so much and root so hard for their success. If you have not seen the performance they did at that show you definitely need to see it! It was an incredible performance.
This live version of Outro: Tear (aka Dior Hobi) is THE iconic version, as Caitlin said, the feral quality is readily apparent. Perhaps Andrew could have commented on the music and how that complemented their performance but I know you were focusing on the emotional aspect, with tying in the MAMA awards speech, which absolutely no ARMY cannot watch without tearing up or crying altogether. If you notice, when Hobi starts getting emotional, Jimin is in the back and notices (he turns his head and his eyes widen), and then he hugs him - it just breaks me. If you can find the VLive where Jimin discusses how he worked out his 2018 (the Young Forever tattoo story), that's also related.
Once again, one of my fave things abt bts’ lyrics is multiple way the lyrics are meant to be interpreted. Outro: Tear is obviously the outro of their album Love Yourself Tear, which represented the part of the Love Yourself journey where they realize the love they had in Love Yourself Her, wasn’t true and they weren’t being their true selves in that relationship. So this song is meant to be the end of that phase when they are totally heartbroken and done with that relationship. But it also has a true meaning for Bts’ journey themselves by writing it based on their feelings when they thought of breaking up.
I remember watching 2018 MAMA LIVE and even though I couldn’t understand what they were saying, the moment I saw Hobi breaking down, I cried my eyes out because I could feel the emotions. It still makes me feel emotional after many years, they deserve the world :(
Having seen this live several times years ago, I cried every time at Hobi’s ending. And I still do. And watching the award show live was heartbreaking because ARMY had no idea what they were going through.
This song was written by rm, suga and Jhope and it’s such a powerful and sincere song about their feelings! The melody was written by suga with their in house producer’s producing the song
Tear is one of the favorite songs of my kids xD and yes, I've explained the lyrics, as I do with every song... their newest favorite would be all Jack in the Box album and Run BTS, they go crazy. But they feel them. (They love all songs anyway, from PtD to Persona, or Daechwita to Boy with Luv, Stay Alive to Butterfly)
The memory that these young men have amazes me, to remember their complicated lyrics and to perform them with such feeling and emotions is incredible. It’s not done by rote, they put their all into it. So jealous, their abilities, all 7 of them, their intelligence and talent is always so overwhelming.
suga said : the lyric for tear were written for the member. when i was writing the melody,at the time,we were contemplating.wheter we should quit or not.when i play the song for the mebers we are cried togehter.OMG..can't forget what suga said. I am very sad 😭😭
My all time favorite rap song. I love lots of rap artist but the BTS rap line is on another level. I literally start my day with Outro: Tear blasting in my earphones everyday. No matter how many times I watch this speech, tears flowing every single time.
okay watching outro:tear then watching their awards speech got me like 🥹😭🥹 . . . i have been an army for almost more than 5 years now and thinking of all of their pain and hardships that they went through in order to share their messages with the world while fighting through all of the prejudice, restrictions and difficulties while still working so incredibly hard and passionate, always makes me thankful that bts chose to stay with army 🥹💜
Outro: Tear and 2018 MAMA speech is just double crying bomb to me😭 Btw for Outro:Tear 's lyrics, when I was analysing their lyrics when I copy them down (yes I copy lyrics that I like in a small book of mine, it helps me in learning korean too) I found the word "tear" mentioned in the song, it can be in many different meanings too, since this word can be a noun or it can be a verb too. Personally, I think Namjoon's first verse is about tears starting to shed when they mentioned about parting ways, which is also tearing their relationship Yoongi's second verse is about tearing his heart apart with the sad ending Hobi's verse is almost just a mix of everything, the torn apart feelings and the tears shed for their sad ending. In short... it just ends up being tears in armys eyes🥹🥹
This is kind of an ARMY must-see. 💜 Thank you for listening to the suggestions from us to view these 3 videos together. It makes a difference versus just listening to the song. Also great to see Rosie and Winnie!!!!
Their is a real powerful rawness in this song and the guy’s delivery. And that speech! Part of me was so heartbroken to hear about the struggles they were going through and part of me was so proud of them for preserving and sticking together and determined to keep pressing forward. And look where they are now!!!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
The first three notes sent a shiver through the whole of Wembley, this performance was electrifying and a perfect rendition of a perfect song. Break ups dont come any harder!
Confusion/sadness. Angst/frustration. In the end, irresolution. That’s what I always get from this. The song is one of many that won’t let go even after the final note. That’s how I know it’s art in itself. 💜
I saw this song live twice and I still wonder how I survived. Every line of this song was like a claw that was ripping pieces of my heart. It's impossible not to cry listening to this song, even when you don't understand the lyrics, cause you just feel them. I felt every cell of my body trembling while listening to this song. It just tears you..
Touching on the point of the song having this deep emotional element to it, I think one of the most beautiful aspects of it for me is this sort of gradual decomposition into metaphor and emotional outcry. The song starts out fairly composed-sounding - angry, but with this wordy-quality to it. There's more emotion in Yoongi's verse, and by the time it gets to Hoseok's, it's...not simplistic, but at the same time, not composed at all anymore. The lyrics come out fast and sad and desperate. (In the studio version, there's a scream from Hoseok behind one of the lyrics.) The parts that are repeated sound sharp and piercing (and I always heard them as a manifestation of feeling like you're being physically shot from harsh reality). The last word sounds like it comes as a dying breath. It's such a well put-together song and the rapline does such a good job performing it.
To do a 3 combo you should watch: Army surprises BTS singing "Forever Young" at the Wembley Stadium! (50/60 thousand of mostly Europeans singing in korean a really meaningful song for BTS and ARMY.And thinking of what mindset BTS was in that year. Really touching!
Anguish is the emotion expressed in this song. Oh, I am so, so glad you and Caitlin have finally crossed the Outro: Tear threshold. Watching you experience this performance for the first time takes me back to when I first watched it, and my jaw dropped just like yours. Outro: Tear is hallowed ground for ARMY. I rank it right up there with Spring Day in terms of significance and impact. (And, as you observed, Andrew, the raw intensity we now see in Hobi's Jack in the Box is not some new development. It's always been there.)
Omg, putting these two videos together in one reaction... Are you trying to kill us?! 😭 Seriously though, the Dior performance of Outro:Tear is absolutely iconic. You can really feel how heartfelt it is. (Dior because they're wearing Dior outfits personalized to them individually (all seven of them) by a young Dior designer.) And Jin nearly gave ARMY a heart attack when he talked about the group disbanding. 😵 I'm so glad they decided to stay together for the rest of the world to discover and enjoy. 💜 On a completely different note, I'm super excited for Lollapalooza being live streamed for free this weekend and the vocal line/Snoop Dogg collaboration that'll be out on August 5th! 💜🤩👍💜
Hi, I am back. Good reaction, ty! Love this song and this live. They are so hot in Dior!!! Their Dior outfits for Outro Tear are even better since they were custom designed specially for them by Kim Jones. He designed a series of seven custom made costumes for each of them. A hit for sure. They sound amazing. Just wow. The energy. And their voices. Pure pleasure. =0) Outro: Tear is emotional. You can feel and hear the passion and when u read the lyrics and know the story wow, damn. So glad they stayed together. Many army cry during it. I think Army said they cried when they 1st heard it from Suga. I love feels songs. I liked hearing your thoughts. Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army💜 H.Knuffke said on 5/23/22 SUGA revealed in Ep. 6 of their Break The Silence docuseries that “Outro: Tear” was dedicated to his members and inspired by BTS' almost-disbandment: "The lyrics for “Tear” were written for the members. When I was writing the melody, at the time, we were deeply contemplating whether we should quit or not. When I played the song for the members, we all cried together."
No matter how many times I see this speech, always makes me cry. But I feel grateful also, for them, to be brave n strong enough to Continue. I'm happy to be able to follow their journey till now 💜 APO BANGPO
hhhhhhh okay.... trying to collect myself, and my thoughts... The sweet ice cream in the intro, i guess a little sugar sprinkle can't hurt with all the pain and emotions that followed after? Also, i did not expect to start associating Shrek with Outro:Tear after this one, to be honest. But yes, absolutely!!! so many layers You had the advantage (or disadvantage) of knowing what the song was about ahead of time, for us we had the song first, then saw them crumbling and crying and confessing that they considered disbanding in the beginning of 2018 at the MAMA awards, and eventually got the confirmation that the song was written in that time period, and they worked through their perspective of what breaking up (the band) would be like. So yeah, thinking back to how i felt about the song when i first heard it live, during the Love Yourself Tour in autumn 2018, i was flashed by their intensity of the emotions, and the song got to me, but i didn't really know why, yet. But i knew, there was something to it, because we could feel all the emotions they throw into every performance of it. I'm glad Winnie and Rosie came for some cuddles as well, while you were watching the speech. But i have to admit, when Caitlin was like "Fashion with a capital F" right at the beginning, i could not help but laugh because i knew that for example Jimin's purple jacket there was torn because he had danced too hard in their performance just before they got this award. Thank you for putting yourself through this emotional roller coaster! 💜 🥕 CFA
It was "fun" (don't know the right word) to see Andrew bouncing/bopping his head to the music while Caitlin is sitting completely still; clearly reading the lyrics and it's pain!
If I remember right suga wrote the song to the members and after playing it for them they cryed together (I think he mentioned in a VLIVE or one of the bts documentarys).....thinking of this it allways makes me literally tear up....it just feels like coming straight from the heart for me :)
I was so lucky to see Outro: Tear live in wembley. It was my first time hearing it and it left me breathless and so emotional. Tears ran down my cheeks, even I didn't know the meaning, I could literally feel it😭 While looking up the lyrics after the concert I cried even more. It was so sad , so touching, so heartbreaking but so lyricaly beautiful! It is an absolute masterpiece!!! BTS are the only ones for me, that can put all their hearts souls and emotions in to a song, so that I feel the meaning even before checking out the lyrics. 💜
You are right for the layers. I hear so much anger in thsi song. But that anger is used to hide sadness, frustration, and so much pain, heart destroying pain. And given the context in which it was written, it makes perfect sense.
We shouldn't link the almost quitting in 2018 to the current "hiatus". Totally different scenarios. Back then they want to quit. Period. Bye, tata kinda situation. Right now, they dont want to quit, but they felt they have dried up, hence the need for individual creative expressions with the whole objective of keeping BTS juicy and relevant. Solo projects are not to be interpreted as the members trying to get away from each other. They aren't. Clearly they were vibing at hobi's party and happy with each other.
Thank you for the awesome video. "Outro:tear" means a lot To me and a lot of ARMY'S because it was such a hard time in BTS's lives and career. It sounds like a breakup song because that's what it is. They were gonna break up. And they have such love for each other that it would be just as raw & emotional as a romantic breakup. Even more so because in a romantic relationship only two( usually) at most hearts will be broken. With BTS, MANY hearts would break. Posiisibly all 7 of them plus MILLIONS of fans. The pressure must have been emense. They are only (young) human men. And not all of the members wanted to break up that's for sure. Imagine you're in BTS. You worked so so hard for years to come to this place where you are now and then 1 or 2 or more members don't want to do it anymore and this could ruin everything you've been working for and everything you hold dear. I think that the 2 members who were wanting to disband were J- hope (because he admitted he actually left once) and he was treated so badly by "fans" at first & possibly V. If you look at his reaction during Jin's speech, he seems really guilty, hiding his face. He was really breaking down hard. Tho, he's such a sweetheart. He may have been crying cause he almost lost being BTS. It definitely wasn't Jin, because he was saying how grateful he was that the members (more than 1) who wanted to disband "reshape their minds" so they could stay together. And thank goodness for them and for us that they did. The whole ceremony is so hard to watch to see all of them crying & hurting. Coming to the precipice and pulling back and staying together through their brotherhood and love. BORAHAE indeed.#ot74eva 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
So good to see you two! This song and the performance you watched are epic raw feral emotions to see. Such a powerful song. I can absolutely see why even a rough sketch of it had the members in tears and I’d like to think it helped them find a reason to talk a d stay together so in my head I always thank Suga for laying everything out so raw and giving us this. Their trials are heavy and numerous and I feel lucky to have found them. Love the emotional support pups! The speech makes me wish I could support them more.
It' s really sad, Yoongi write this song when they think about disbanded when they have hard time it was like "goodbye" song. When they Heard this song for the first time they start crying. they are strong and don't give up and stay together but this song is important, always emotional to them, that's why we can see that much emotion... I love them. Btw sorry for my English I tried my best
13:09 Jimin is comforting his bro. I don't remember if it is break the silence or burn the stage. J-hope was there. To match J emotions Next video is Wembley day 2
I should say something about MAMA its not in Korea like you thought it was at the end of the video but its in Hong Kong. And i believe it is the biggest award show in east Asia! (please correct me if i'm wrong!) So the fact that they have got the biggest award (many years in a row) in the biggest (or one of) award show in east Asia, is massive and amazing for them!!!💜💜
ah yes, MAMA = Mnet Asian Music Awards, so, they claim to be continental rather than for one country. Hence also why in some years they had shows in Korea, japan, and hong kong. But, the vast majority of the awards still end up going to Korean artists (not only k-pop, also other genres), so... 🤷
That speech makes me cry every time. RM is such an amazing big brother, checking on the younger ones. It seems like he was worried about JK. When JK pulls V in, it is so sweet!!
I love so much this song and this performance, I'm so proud of our boys, and this speech always make me cry, I hate so much see our boys crying it hurts my heart.
Tear was a masterpiece in my eyes when I thought it was about a romantic relationship. Once we found out it was written around their crisis, that added an extra layer
I seriously considered skipping this one, bc I know it'll be a crying fest for me. But what can I do, it's you two, I just can't pass up on a good reaction video 💜
we just have to get the tissues ready, and brave through it 💜 but it's also so worth it, because we can see how they worked through it, and the song is amazing
Andrew I would like your musical point of view on something I've thought of for some time. Will you compare the opening notes/composition for Outro: Her and Outro: Tear. They seem similar but Her is more bright and Tear is more dark. Are they the same notes/basic structure? I hope I'm saying this in a way you can understand. You are the musical "guru" that can hear things like this, and I appreciate your musical insights that you share in your videos. Thank you!
That is very interesting!! After I've listened to that song, I will definitely think about that! I LOVE this kind of thing so I hope it's what I think it is. Haha
10:40 yeah Raw It has a gutted feeling It makes me think of the aesthetic of Jackson Wang’s mv blow and magic something I like Tear Fortunately, I loved it before the hiatus (international Kdrama) Front seats anyone? Twist plot: what hiatus? If some of us are baby armies A true emotional rollercoaster from a transitional period In our Bangtan universe, you get in tune with lots of emotions Spooky Well tear deserves all the praise and the applause Rap line delivered once again Is that lyrical rapping? It feels like an opera. I think the vocal line matches tear with house of cards
A lot of people thought that Ready to Let Go was the break up song but it was Outro:Tear. Poor Jin got scolded by the others for his speech but the worst was behind them. I understand that it was Taehyung's suggestion that they go away together that ultimately solved the problem.
Cuddling the puppers was a good idea. I have to hug one of my BT21 plushies to get through this now. Yes please normalize men crying. And how the hell does Jin look so good crying? How is that even possible?!?!
each member displayed a different emotion. RM was the philosophical thinker, Sugas part was angry , and j hopes part showed sadness. at least thats how i see it

I don't care how many times I hear Outro:Tear. That first piano note both gives me chills and also forces a knot in my throat.
yup, it is one of those songs that we can recognize just from the first note, and it's a visceral reaction immediately
You described it perfectly
Beautifully spoken 💜🥺
So iconic. Have you see the TikTok that goes “How to summon an entire fandom with one note”?

This is why we love them so much. And YES to normalizing male tears. they are leaders all the way.
This is such an emotional song .... especially when you really get the understanding of the topic.
My all time favorite rap song. I love lots of rap artist but the BTS rap line is on another level. I literally start my day with Outro: Tear blasting in my earphones everyday. No matter how many times I watch this speech, tears flowing every single time.
No matter how many times I listen to this song i get chills every single time I hear the piano at the beginning
The emotion of this song reminds me of the anger stage of grief. You’re so incredibly hurt that you’re just pissed.
okay watching outro:tear then watching their awards speech got me like 🥹😭🥹 . . . i have been an army for almost more than 5 years now and thinking of all of their pain and hardships that they went through in order to share their messages with the world while fighting through all of the prejudice, restrictions and difficulties while still working so incredibly hard and passionate, always makes me thankful that bts chose to stay with army 🥹💜
Outro: Tear and 2018 MAMA speech is just double crying bomb to me😭
Btw for Outro:Tear 's lyrics, when I was analysing their lyrics when I copy them down (yes I copy lyrics that I like in a small book of mine, it helps me in learning korean too)
I found the word "tear" mentioned in the song, it can be in many different meanings too, since this word can be a noun or it can be a verb too.
Personally, I think
Namjoon's first verse is about tears starting to shed when they mentioned about parting ways, which is also tearing their relationship
Yoongi's second verse is about tearing his heart apart with the sad ending
Hobi's verse is almost just a mix of everything, the torn apart feelings and the tears shed for their sad ending.
In short... it just ends up being tears in armys eyes🥹🥹
Your incompetent army and your shitty ass taste in not music but Life
This is kind of an ARMY must-see. 💜 Thank you for listening to the suggestions from us to view these 3 videos together. It makes a difference versus just listening to the song. Also great to see Rosie and Winnie!!!!
One of the best ever performances by the rapline - to this day I bawl my eyes out when I watch it.
Have a butter-ful weekend everyone and have fun watching Hobipalooza from home or live at the festival 🕺💃🔥😎💜
The amazing Wembley Stadium TEAR performance is one of my favourite lives ever, it makes me cry 😢❤️💜
Feral! Omgah that’s the word!
This performance and the award acceptance speech moments are totally "Without even knowing, it blooms around my eyes" worthy.💜
How I wanted to watch this song live😭
The whole body chills with this song performance woah Tear is just 💥
Touching on the point of the song having this deep emotional element to it, I think one of the most beautiful aspects of it for me is this sort of gradual decomposition into metaphor and emotional outcry.
It's emotional. Thanks for watching with us.
After Blood, Sweat, and Tears, this is my next fave so g of BTS. These two, with House of Cards and Your Eyes Tell, always, always make me cry.
Before I knew where Tear came from…I could feel the pain. Then when I found the reason behind it…quickly became my favorite from the rap line.
They ain’t up there for nothing! Their talent and hardwork is honestly insane! They deserve all the joy and success ♥️
MAMA 2018 AOTY speech and the day we found out Tear was written for the other members of BTS was 2 of the most distressing times of my life as an ARMY
Omg, putting these two videos together in one reaction... Are you trying to kill us?! 😭
Seriously though, the Dior performance of Outro:Tear is absolutely iconic. 💜
On a completely different note, I'm super excited for Lollapalooza being live streamed for free this weekend and the vocal line/Snoop Dogg collaboration that'll be out on August 5th!
💜🤩👍💜
yeees! i'm going to mess up my sleep pattern again to watch it on weverse 🙌
@@deliaconny
IKR?! 😵 It'll be at 4 am here but I'm so gonna watch it anyway! 🤩👍
@Imajin all the purple me too, we're sitting in the same timezone 😅
Hugs. -NY USA 2019 Army💜

SUGA revealed in Ep. 6 of their Break The Silence docuseries that “Outro: Tear” was dedicated to his members and inspired by BTS' almost-disbandment:
"The lyrics for “Tear” were written for the members. When I was writing the melody, at the time, we were deeply contemplating whether we should quit or not. When I played the song for the members, we all cried together."
This my FAVORITE BTS song.
first! thank you for another wonderful reaction! yes indeed! this song was made when they were thinking of disbanding and it really is so emotional 🥹💜
Thank you 💜
No matter how many times I see this speech, always makes me cry. But I feel grateful also, for them, to be brave n strong enough to Continue. I'm happy to be able to follow their journey till now 💜
APO BANGPO
I absolutely love this song - so emotional, so hard, but then melodic and knowing what they are taking about just hits me hard.
hhhhhhh okay.... trying to collect myself, and my thoughts...
The sweet ice cream in the intro, i guess a little sugar sprinkle can't hurt with all the pain and emotions that followed after?
Also, i did not expect to start associating Shrek with Outro:Tear after this one, to be honest. But yes, absolutely!!! so many layers
You had the advantage (or disadvantage) of knowing what the song was about ahead of time, for us we had the song first, then saw them crumbling and crying and confessing that they considered disbanding in the beginning of 2018 at the MAMA awards, and eventually got the confirmation that the song was written in that time period, and they worked through their perspective of what breaking up (the band) would be like.

No matter how many times i watched this performance and the acceptance speech… i always get teary eyed 🥺
when i saw the title "outro tear" I was already thinking " oh no~~~~ " then I saw the second part for the 2018 mama speech.
🥺💜
You are right for the layers.
I hear so much anger in thsi song. But that anger is used to hide sadness, frustration, and so much pain, heart destroying pain. And given the context in which it was written, it makes perfect sense.
I'm crying so hard my god I just love and appreciate them so much 🥺
They really deserve the world 😭❤️
We shouldn't link the almost quitting in 2018 to the current "hiatus".
Tear is definitely a song with
Music: 🥵😠😤🤬👺🔥💣
Lyrics: 😟😭😫🥺😓😖😭😭😭😭
BORAHAE indeed.#ot74eva 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
i honestly love your videos with caitlin, i always feel like i have to comment that, sorry lol 💜
I completely agree!! The raw emotions that Suga captured in this song are absolutely incredible. And the speech is just so moving from all of them
It' s really sad, Yoongi write this song when they think about disbanded when they have hard time it was like "goodbye" song. When they Heard this song for the first time they start crying. they are strong and don't give up and stay together but this song is important, always emotional to them, that's why we can see that much emotion... I love them.
Btw sorry for my English I tried my best
So emotional 😭 this speech always gets to me
💜🐇🕳️
13:09 Jimin is comforting his bro.
I don't remember if it is break the silence or burn the stage.
J-hope was there.
To match J emotions
Next video is Wembley day 2
I should say something about MAMA its not in Korea like you thought it was at the end of the video but its in Hong Kong.
OH MY GOD ITS FINALLY HAPPENING
Hahahaha IT IS TIME
Thank you for your caring reaction. 💜
I love so much this song and this performance, I'm so proud of our boys, and this speech always make me cry, I hate so much see our boys crying it hurts my heart.
There’s no way of watching this acceptance speech and not cry with them (even with their faces being blurred) 😭💜
Right😭😭
😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 I'm so proud to be ARMY...APOoo💜BANGPOoooo💜😭😭💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Tear was a masterpiece in my eyes when I thought it was about a romantic relationship. Once we found out it was written around their crisis, that added an extra layer
Loved your words and emphaty snd dogs❤️
I seriously considered skipping this one, bc I know it'll be a crying fest for me. But what can I do, it's you two, I just can't pass up on a good reaction video 💜
we just have to get the tissues ready, and brave through it 💜 but it's also so worth it, because we can see how they worked through it, and the song is amazing
Oh M.G. You went to THAT speech? (just starting the video)... :_) this is gonna be interesting.
Thank you!
oohh, that's an interesting question! Andrew?
ah, one issue, though, Andrew has not yet heard Outro:Her, unfortunately 🤔
That is very interesting!! After I've listened to that song, I will definitely think about that! I LOVE this kind of thing so I hope it's what I think it is. Haha
10:40 yeah Raw
It has a gutted feeling
It makes me think of the aesthetic of Jackson Wang’s mv blow and magic something
I like Tear
Fortunately, I loved it before the hiatus (international Kdrama)
Front seats anyone?
Twist plot: what hiatus?
If some of us are baby armies
A true emotional rollercoaster from a transitional period
In our Bangtan universe, you get in tune with lots of emotions
Spooky
Well tear deserves all the praise and the applause
Rap line delivered once again
Is that lyrical rapping?
It feels like an opera.
I think the vocal line matches tear with house of cards
🤦 Why did I decide to watch this while eating dinner? 🤧 Cute floofs to cuddle should be a requirement for this 🥰
Really enjoying your videos as always!
Just another song from rapline to blow your mind.. when u know how they use fear & tear with its 2 meanings...
Amo esta canción 😍
Thank you 🙏🙏🇦🇷❤️💜
A lot of people thought that Ready to Let Go was the break up song but it was Outro:Tear.
How is that even possible?!?!
there is a behind scenes to this and how they were crying even after taking photos and changing etc.
💜💜💜
19:47 I love that your furry friends are there.
i miss you guys!
each member displayed a different emotion. RM was the philosophical thinker, Sugas part was angry , and j hopes part showed sadness. at least thats how i see it
Only BTS rapp line in this Song....makes me 😭😭😭😭
Jimin gave a good speech, but at the end of the award ceremony he was also moved, Tae was hurt the most, Jin, Jungkook and Hoseok also cried
