Outro: Tear always hits different to us (ARMY) since Suga revealed that this song was written when BTS was considering a breakup. He said the lyrics for Outro: Tear were written for the members.
he also said they all cried together when they listened to the finished song
J-HOOOOOPE !!!!! This performance just KILLS ME Can't even imagine watching it live and surviving lol
He got me in tears when i first saw it
It's insane live 🥲
for me this song deffinitely belongs to j-hope!
Surprisingly, I made it out alive🥲
Outro: Tear is a song they wrote when the group was almost going to disband.
RM uses tear = To express crying
Suga uses tear = To express ripping apart
J-hope uses fear = Because he is afraid of disbanding
FUNFACT: suga always introduces himself in songs. If you listen carefully you can here him introduce himself softly. Studio version of songs such as Born singer, I like it, Path, Rain, Save me, Wings, Pied Piper, 134340, Love maze , Magic shop and many more.
It’s his thing that he’s done since pre-debut and it’s kinda cool!
one of my favorite performances of the Rap line, it's so dynamic and powerful. Also, the trio in Dior, J-Hope's harness is my favorite.
Suga does introduce himself. But he is the most unassuming personality in Bts. If he introduced in songs it is sometimes RM doing it for him. Also, the rappers tend to prefer the hand held mics to the head gear.
in songs he always whispers "suga" before his verse! every single song xD
@@magdaleneyeboahbx thank you for letting me know!
@@magdaleneyeboahbx not every single one! Just a lot of them lol
@@prisharai7225 yeah I know I was just exaggerating haha. But it blew my mind when I discovered this fact and went back to their music to listen carefully. He does it sooo much! I think it's a really cool stamp
I love when Namjoon introduces Yoongi or JHope... or when they do it themselves.
The ending with J-Hope always kills me
Energy and passion
This performance is amazing. My favorite rap song. Jhope looks so emotional
After this performance, they sing mic drop immediately.
Epiphany, Untold Truth, Tear, Mic Drop, Anpanman, So What, Make it Right, Mikrokosmos
Most of the time, the rap line will use normal mic even when they performed songs with dances - since they usually don't rap and dance at the same time. Vocal line is the one who usually use the Britney mic cause they have to sing and dance at the same time.
I think the only one I’ve seen rap and dance is Hobi, like in Mic drop but suga and rm don’t dance. whether it’s improvised or part of the choreo but yeah sometimes he doesn’t
@@whyareyousubscribedlmao52 You're right. Now I remember there were some performances (I don't remember what song) where Hobi use the Britney mic too
J-Hope is so good in this , his emotions...both of others too but Hobi...this hits so hard.one of my favorite ever
J hopppppppppppppppe!!
This perfomance make hobi bias wercker me.. Damnt!
I didn't even care for rap much until BTS changed my whole outlook on it... this song is so damn powerful btw
This looks like the Wembley concert - and it's RM that introduced Suga
This song and this performance just rips your heart out, throws it on the group, stomps all over it and leaves it barely alive. It’s so incredibly powerful and it’s not only one of my top 3 BTS songs, but I’d also put it in my top 10 of all time (and I’ve got many decades of listening to and loving music behind me)-it’s that good. Each member of the rapline brings something different to the table and they’re responsible for making me take another look at a genre I never particularly liked and pretty much dismissed. Their unit songs, solos and solo projects are always my faves and they are, IMO, unmatched. And Hobi absolutely SLAYS this performance.
It was RM that introduced Suga, he does it for all of the members all the time, especially after a pause in the vocals. And they switch mics numerous times in a concert.
Genius of lyrist, flow (RM)
Genius of soul and swag (SUGA)
Genius of Dance Move and Dance Rap ( J-Hope)
What? They all have each but Hobi is known as the king of flow and swag. But you’re like reducing his rap effort to dance. -_- so tired of ppl trying to make him out to be the dancer who raps. He’s been rapping for a decade and is 1 of 1 in his style. A style by the way defined by musicality, agility, and incredible tonal range.
@@jhopeur7219 yeaahhh chill babes, they are great 3 rappers with different rap styles. I just want to bring up their name without left another one. I love them 💜💜💜
@@jhopeur7219 you need to chilll.. we all know that.
J hope at the end to me, is "like a train coming down the track" I love it.
J-Hope brings life to the performance
From what I know, they call it tear, as in cry, share a tear, is repeated multiple times in the song, you're my tear, but then they also say you're my tear, as in break, rip.... RM tear, Suga tear(rip), Jhope fear.
Is RM that introduces Suga:)
Yeah Rm did introduce Suga
RM introduces V when he sings in Jump so is that part of the same thing?
@@pyejammiesfanfic640 Kind of. They trade off sometimes during performances, and just with certain songs, but it's usually a rap-line thing. I think Jump may be an exception? But it suits the song really well. In recordings, Suga often introduces himself, and Hobi will often introduce himself with 'Hope World'. Just a random thought, but in their Tiny Desk concert, Jimin actually introduces JK at the very beginning. So I think sometimes it depends on how the mood strikes them :). 💜
This song never fail to make me cry everytime I listen to it.
they switch between during the concerts in magic shop live that you watched you will see that the brittney mics are hanging on their necks while the use the regular mics
hands down, one of the best live performances of the rap line. in person it gets you so hype but the meaning behind the song just breaks my heart 🥺 love it though!
This song makes me cry, respect, admire and love more and more to BTS. My favorire rappers have always been two TUPAC SHAKUR and EMINEM, now three moreRM, SUGA and J-HOPE. 💜
Jacob, I really enjoy your reactions especially of BTS MVs! About the microphone versus The headgear microphone, I know that each individual BTS member have their own color blinged out hand-held microphones and that matches their earpieces and if they’re going to do a lot of Choreo in their music videos or live performances they use headgear microphones. For example when the Rapline is going to start spitting fire they’re not really doing Choreo it’s more typical for rappers to use a handheld mic! I really liked the journey that you’re taking with BTS! I hope you do some more reaction to their live performances💜😊💜
One of the best BTS performances
First time I saw this, without understanding. Word, I bawled like a baby! It hits hard! This performance was at Wembly Stadium to a full sold out concert!
Outro: Tear always brings me back to all the hardships of BTS have gone through the fact that Suga wrote this song of them considering to disband. One of the most heavy and emotional live performance of Rap Line.💜
TEAR was the climax of the Speak Yourself concerts! It’s always been a tear jerker but now that we know the break up they are talking about is BTS (!) it hits SO much harder. When the album came out, I put off listening to this for months because you know 3 bars into this song - it’s a extremely sorrowful break up song to the max! I wasn’t ready.
This was a live broadcast from Wembley concert (Jun 2019), so this is not from a DVD or anything like this. BigHit just made a live broadcast from their first night at Wembley. Also rappers prefer to use normal mikes, they always use normal mikes when performing as a sub unit , and they also use normal mikes if only the choreo in OT7 songs allows it.
Exhausted??? They perform 'Mic Drop' with the full group right after this song haha. And as for calling SUGA's name before his verse, he doesn't call his own name, RM or J-Hope will. It's a performance thing, the way V tags JK in the beginning of 'Dynamite' (and now 'Butter'). You watch these guys long enough, you notice things. Love watching your reactions as you comment on the music (listen to the sliding bass, etc.) Most of us lay people will not be able to catch all that - really, we're checking out Hobi in his Dior outfit in this one. But most ARMY do love the cinematic quality of this song/performance, especially the dramatic strings. Catching up with your reactions...
I've noticed Namjoon introduces Yoongi and JHope a lot 'live'
This was performed at Wembley stadium! I was there and it was amazinggggg
Wow
I absolutely love this Wembley Stadium performance of Tear! I have the full concert, which was broadcast live throughout the world and to cinemas in Japan. It was one hell of a show!
Thank you for reacting to Tear!💜
Im here to say...
Jhopeeeeeeeeeee😆💜
Hobi hits different here
RM said once that both titles fit the theme of the song...relationships are tough and make you cry tears, and relationships fall apart and can tear like paper. Both fit, so it's just your preference.
Cypher Medley Live if you can find it. A lot of their live concerts have been taken down on YT Had it on my playlist and it is gone along with other live performances
the power of the rap of their voices the most
el poder del rap de sus voces lo maximo
La RAP LINE es INCREIBLE!!!!
The moment the song ends you say "thank you for watching" and finish the video.. isn't it kinda .. i don't know but wouldn't it be better if you tell what you think of the whole song? whole performance? like, everything you saw.. isnt it why most of the people are here? to hear your opinion.. :( maybe its just me but it really feels like you are just trying to finish it fastest you can just to film the next song and you actually don't really care about any of this.. and its sad :(
quantity its not always the same as quality.. and most of people are genuinely would love to hear your opinion, not just a couple of words in the midle of performance..
Fun fact (I don't know if anybody has mentioned this), the producer for this song (together with RM and Suga as well) is DOCSKIM. He is also the keyboardist for BTS's ghost band during tour and live band performance (e.g. the NPR Tiny Desk Performance, SNL), he did a really great job.
Its usually RM that says Suga's name to introduce him.
Enjoying your reactions! And yeah, after / in concerts and performances in general they are really exhausted. They are even more because for every stage they give it their all and do it with so much passion and energy. If you want to see that, there are some videos which show that. In these compilations there are many clips from their film (par example BurnThe Stage) because in these they show these moments and you reyll realise how hardworking they are
forgot to name a video, in my opinion the best one is: "when bts injured and exhausted" or "bts overworked and exhausted"
Often one of the other members say SUGA before his part starts
OUTRO:TEAR is one of my absolute favorit 💜
OH AND THE INTRO TO BTS MEMBERS TOO ITLL BLOW UR MINDDDD
I would say that the mic choice is monstly based on the amount of choreography they have, in some performances the vocalist can have attacker mics and rappers handmics. They flip mics back and forth during concerts depending on song
Attached*
Hand mic gives more effect in my opinion when they rap
I can't hear that song without crying
The rap line ever *very* supportive of one another and they introduce each other before their verses white often. So, it’s not Suga announcing himself in the live performances it’s pretty much always either RM or Hope, RM in this instance.
The rap line in general seems to favor regular mics, but it def depends on the amount of choreo.
During their concert I would say they used both types of mics.
I’ve been lucky enough to witness this song live and it’s just so much better, IMO, live than just the studio version cause the lyrics are so personal to the members and they really showcase their emotions on stage.
Btw; it’s usually the other rappers that are whispering sugas name before he starts, in particular RM. at least from what I’ve seen.
I’ve been so enjoying your chats with some of my favorite BTS reactors btw!💜💜💜
Another favorite and another I was lucky enough to see them perform live. It was my privilege, pleasure and so freakin' amazing!!!!
what a song! confident is rlly good
I think is both Tear (falls from eyes) and Tear (ripping). See this is what makes these guys awesome song writers. They take a word that is pronounced two different ways in language (at the time they were still learning)to indicate what occurs during a breakup and its magic! They're just so talented!
I saw this performance live in Chicago and it was amazing. This was one of my favorite performances💜💜
After one of their first stadium concert, they came to the staff to say thank you. Something like: Thank you, we just sing and dance but YOU make concert to be!
Never thought a rap song would make me Tear but this song did it to me, knowing the history of this song. Thank you for your reaction💜💜 im not sure if you had reacted to BTS world soundtrack Heartbeat? Its beautiful
Outro: Tear was crazy during concert, it's experience I've never forget!
Your end track confident sounds good I will check it out later when I am studying
I am so glad someone told me about this reaction, thank you for doing it 🙏
This is one of my favourite songs by the rap line, it has very real emotion in it, and they kill it - love both Yoongi and Namjoon (Yoongi could be my bias, as we say), but Hobi wrecks me in the live performance of Outro: Tear
I think this is the Wembley concert
Yes, they do switch mics in concerts
And that was Namjoon introducing Yoongi
I love Yoongi’s hyena whoops (hyena make a variety of noises, but a sort of social calling noise they make to each other is like Yoongi’s whoop, more drawn out, but similar) - I live in South Africa and my favourite thing is to go to the bush - my nearest big5 game reserve has a camp that is unfenced, and if you sit outside in the evening, having a braai (bbq), you have to be careful because hyena are prowling, literally a couple of yards away - and when you sleep you can hear them (sometimes lion too), and Yoongi reminds me of that (weird, I know).
Anyway, I have spotted a couple more reactions I missed - again, thank you 😊
They have color-coded mics. So, no switching mid-performance or mid-concert. :D
The BTS Live Subs channel has a Magic Shop live where BTS have slipped their headphone mics onto their shoulders and necks, as they sing into hand-helds. You reacted to it two weeks ago. The visuals probably stayed with you.
RM usually introduces Suga.
It's usually RM or J-Hope saying Suga right before he sings. The rappers tend to prefer to use the regular hand held mics unless a certain performance would make it difficult.
I always think people should react to this performance lol, it's epic insane and the emotion they convey, idk I just love it so much. Thanks for reacting to it 💜💜
"They will be extremely exhausted after this performance." ....Dude.. 'MIC Drop' was right next to this, which is one of the dopest performance of BTS. 😅
The concert I went to 2 years ago I noticed that sometimes they would still have the Britney mics hanging on their necks and they would be using their other mkcs when they talked
Pls react to ❤️BTS - DOPE + BAEPSAE + FIRE + IDOL [Medley Stage] Live Performance by dk react, from the BTS SPEAK YOURSELF WORLD TOUR JAPAN. Link in reply. BTS performs a breathtakingly spectacular totally LIT over 12 min nonstop medley of some of their most popular, songs: Dope; Baepsae; Fire; & Idol from one of their many sold out concerts in stadiums holding over 80K, this time in Osaka, Japan, during the 2019 BTS Speak Yourself Tour. What made this particular concert that much more special, was that it was held during the day, instead of evening, so you could see everything that much clearer! Their concerts usually go for around 2 1/2 hrs without hardly a break, except when they go dry off, breath some oxygen, change outfits, & come up for air.
this performance was at Wembley Stadium.
It wasn’t Suga who introduces himself but RM or sometimes the other BTS members does.
It's both tear(cry) and tear (torn something)...and fear
RM's energy is another level! it's total plus to the whole performance! 🔥
Good observation. Yes, Suga always introduces himself. :) Fun fact, that "yeah, yeah burn it" appears again on his 2nd mixtape on his song Burn It featuring Max. Oh, and contrary to what some believe, they absolutely use autotune, just quite tastefully, in my opinion, lol.
Finally😭😭😭😭😭thnk you for your reaction
This one is soooo goood!!! One of my fave
Yass i’ve been waiting for this!!
SUGA 🔥🤯
Masterpiece
TEAR LIT 🔥
ARMY please write j-hope name with the hyphen for his benefits🙏don’t write it without it
The Rap Line:
RM
Suga
J-hope
This trio of rappers are the perfect combination and exponents of this genre, they complement each other so well that the result is a beautiful musical work for your ears.
RM- tear 😢 like cry
Suga- tear 💔 like rip
Jhope -terror 😱 like fear
🔥
I saw it live!
Insane ! 💥
Nice react, i like it
Finally u watched tear
They're so talented
I know its just a theory or rumor that this song was about them almost disbanding but regardless if you watch the 2018 MAMA speech they made its heartbreaking. This song makes me emotional every time knowing it coulda been their last.
Actually Suga himself said that it's about disbanding, so it is not a rumor
@@elenaastachova8228 yes it is 😭💜💜
If Suga's name is pronounced in front of Suga's part, it means that he produced the song. This is his production mark. (Sorry, I don't know English)
Thanks for your reaction 💜
As a musician im sure you have seen your share of heavy auto tune usage, and even reliance, but i expect that auto tune being used as a augment or another medium to spice or texture sound is perfectly acceptable. Its pretty low brow for people who couldn't carry a tune if it weren't for auto tune. BTS can sing. And if they use auto tune it is for texture. I assure you.
Love your reaction👍
Suga wrote the song , playec it to the members, then rm and jhope added to it , suga wrote it when bts considered breaking up .
🙏🏼🙏🏼
💜💜💜
love this 😉
The mics are color coded
RM said Suga ...mostly others say his name as he is the Lead Rapper
i recommend you to watch bts contribution to music by xceleste

Wembly Stadium!
I think the mic choice usually depends on choreography, to some degree at least. Not positive, though. 💜
Could be!
