The scene of BTS crying and in awe at the concert is when ARMYs surprised them with their "Young Forever" song! The Big Hit staff asked ARMYs to sing for BTS as a surprise and it was the most incredible thing to watch. I wish I had been there in person to experience it myself. Young Forever is a beautiful song. Please react to it when you get the chance!
At the beginning that was a French project.. I know perfectly that's not the fault of ARMY, but Bighit seriously.... At least, the boys were so touched 💜 I'm sorry for my English and plz no hate
@@AndrewBergSax they were going to sing their last song in their Wembley concert, which meant so much for this Asian band who sold out the tickets in minutes, and ARMY started singing instead. I never thought that that could ever happen, fans singing for their artists? Millionaire singers loved with power over millions of fans crying on the stage in such a humble way? Then they spoke about how this old song was important to them when they were facing many problems -and I guess you already know how their company was about to bankrupt, how much rejection they received in the first years, how they couldn't get awards that are very important in the Korean entertainment industry during their first ages, and how they were accused of corruption when fans started to support them the way ARMY still supports them-. We are so blessed that this moment was recorded, so we can watch it years after.
"Butter " was released on May 21. The earliest Kmedia reports of Chris Martin being in South Korea were on May 16, so yes, he very likely heard the finished song before its official release.
Yeah, and their hair colours (The BTS Hair Clock) are the same that they had during the Butter MV, so he probably got there right around the time they were done filming it.
I adore Caitlyn, your wife, in your reactions! She is definitely a ball of bright energy. This collaboration is genuinely the best, as they mutually respect each other and they have the same big, positive energy that gives fans hope
The part where they're crying was at their concert at Wembley. ARMY surprised them and sang Young Forever to them. You teally should watch the Young forever MV, get the meaning of the lyrics and then react to the video of the surprise. Very emotional. You see the bond between BTS and ARMY.
According to Coldplay fans Chris Martin highly praised BTS and called them his "little brothers" on the taping for French TV Show "Taratata" 🥺 Coldplay is promoting in Europe and they also sang “My Universe“ on some shows. Edit: 11:04 Yes, considering JK‘s hair color and length, it has to be at that time and Chris Martin was in Korea in April.
@@AndrewBergSax For Global Citizen u have to watch a few vids. The actual channel Global Citizen focused too much on Coldplay on the stage but the Army vids showed u the screens BTS was on. I ended up watching all of these by accident until I found the Global Citizen channel footage and than I was so re-leaved because I got the full performance by watching 3-4 vids.
OMG, Caitlin you love behind the scenes content? Has anyone told you about The Rise of Bangtan? - an incredible docu-series about BTS from the very beginning. I think you’d absolutely love it!!!
You could watch them recording the 'BTS In the Soop' theme song xD that's the only other behind the scenes of the recording process video I can think of (though that one was just for fun so they were goofing around a lot lol). Of course they also have their tour documentaries. You two might also really enjoy the fanmade docu series Rise of Bangtan here on youtube. I'm usually wary of fanmade stuff like that but it's SO professionally done! Really gives you a good understanding of the Korean music/pop industry and covers BTS's journey from the beginning
I agree Rise of Bangtan is an exceptionally well made docu series. They also include deleted scenes and bonus content for every episode. Much of it is well known in BTS Army history but there are some amazing gems that really let their personalities and interactions with each other shine through. It chronicles their inception through right now the WINGS era - the series is still ongoing. They're taking a break for a few months and will be back with new episodes in December. It is so amazingly informative - especially considering Caitlyn enjoys behind the scenes content - i think she will really enjoy it. THe two of you are so ridiculously wholesome and enjoyable together.
Suga is the producer of the song and the one recording it while all members composed it. you could definitely heae the vocals of vocal line especially jungkook
@@bonchaemanchae yeahhhh the soop song gets stuck in my head all the time lol jk's 'woah-oh-oh baby' adlib is my JAM! crazy they can sound that good when they're just having fun
A little food for thought - Coldplay formed in 1996, Jungkook was born in 1997. 😅 I feel so old right now. 🤦♀️ There're a lot of short behind the scene videos (called Bangtan Bombs) on their UA-cam channel BANGTAN TV but not many like this one.
@@AndrewBergSax New bonus info: Chris Martin disclosed in an interview that it was actually Jin who initiated the Coldplay collaboration. And Suga's remix of My Universe is out now...
I am 57 years old and I love BTS they are so humble and genuine . I first heard of them from my grand daughter , she is autistic and she loves BTS so much . They are amazing and of course Coldplay is to . I’m so glad they had this opportunity to collaborate with them .
I love the way they edited the scene of chris talking about the harmony of "because. Because we come from different sides" .. he says .if that's possible. Then cut to Jimin..just BOUNCING off to the sound booth!!!! Lol. Idk. It was just one scene out of many that gave me feels. I love everything about this sooo much!😭
If you want to see a behind the scenes video like this, I recommend “Jungkook the Main Vocalist of BTS” by Ida S. 🌟💜 That is his official position and it shows a look at what he does in the studio and how he does most of the vocal guides, vocal layers, adlibs, and harmonies for the group. I think you will find it fascinating! 😊💜 For more of his raw vocals, I recommend “Jungkook the King of Acapella” by Ida S. It was so wonderful to see Chris Martin say he was “so impressed” by his voice, it makes me very proud! 💜💜
I remember as early as 2014-2015 was the first time i heard BTS members mentioning how much they Looove Coldplay. So yeah, its been known within ARMY that BTS is a Huge Coldplay Fans. Thats why i wasnt suprised when they did "Fix you" on MTV and now this. Theyve propably been SO exited to just meet their "idol", yet alone doing a song with them. Im so happy for them!🙏💜❤
@@AndrewBergSax i saw that others recommended reacting to Jungkook singing in his Vlive. That video is just heaven to listen to, he is just casually singing, everything just as it is and thats a Really great video when you wanna hear vocals that hasnt been processed in any way. My vote goes for that video as well!🤭
@@AndrewBergSax In the Kelly Clarkson interview Chris Martin said a Twt friend meaning Army told him BTS wants to collab because it was V's wish. The Army used My Universe in their request and those are RMs words from a Vlive! He wrote the song for them but than his bandmate told him they should both sing it. So plans changed and this occurred. =0) I love that!!!
Have you heard SUGA produced new song? The name of it is "You". It is title track from the new album by Japanese singer, ØMI. It will be released on October 15th🔥
How did I miss this? (maybe ticketing XD) Guys guys guys: in RUN BTS last last week, JK said that when Coldplay started he was still in his dad's body XD I find the thought/sentence hilarious. But yeah, JK was born in 1997, CP started in 1996 :) they are celebrating their 25th year anniv as a band. As a side note: I need YOU guys to listen to Coloratura, if you can, the Howard Stern live! Brilliant song, brilliant rendition :) (as usual, disclaimer, I never ask for reactions, I do want you to enjoy nice things!)
THANK YOU SO MUCH. That song is incredible. Like an actual masterpiece. I don't think it will be one of their biggest hits unfortunately, but honestly to me that is their Stairway to Heaven, or Bohemian Rhapsody. Just a brilliant song
@@AndrewBergSax You listened to it? T-T I love this kind of music. And Coloratura is on another level, and seeing it being performed live, chills. It won't be a hit, but coldplayers showered and shower it with love (I added them on twt). It's pure magic. Glad you liked it too!
about your comment if there is any videos about them producing things, I know that in their variety show called In The Soop, they made the theme song of it, and recorded themselves recording the song, with Suga in charge of directing everyone else's vocals. It's very humerous and not serious at all. I guess you can call it raw vocals but there's a lot of laughing on the way
I think Caitlin would love to watch BTS' official behind the scene documentaries, such as - Burn the Stage the series and the movie (about their 2017 tour) - Bring the Soul the series and the movie (on their LY tour) - Break the Silence series and the movie ( about their persona, stadium tour, fame). Also Rise of Bangtan series (fan made) on UA-cam talks a lot about behind the scenes too.
i forget how long coldplay has been around too. i remember hearing fix you when i was like 7 and then my friend learned clocks on the piano in fifth grade, i have always liked coldplay and as soon as i heard they were in korea i got so so excited
My favorite episode of BTS In the Soop season 1 is episode 3. In that ep they are messing around and create a song on the spot. If you decide to watch it, go for the whole episode instead of a clip. Context is everything.
oh yes, feeding JK is always very important 😁 2:25 "he actually went to Korea" yep, all of the footage (except for the concert inserts of course) in this documentary is inside the new Hybe building. Different offices, (music/recording & dance) studios, common areas... 6:30 you both sharing your "I saw Chris Martin..." stories 🤣 oh ... this is amazing 🤣🤣🤣 11:05 yes, this was back in April this year, and Butter was released in May, so they were probably preparing for that release, learning the choreo, putting the last finishing touches on the mix/master, ... at the time. 13:45 there are a lot more videos out there of them in the studio, I'd say mostly BTS Episodes and/or Bangtan Bombs, the last episode of "In the Soop" season 1 where they also showed them recording the theme tune of the show, and so on. And then in BTS Run they often end up singing random songs, too (though not in a studio environment, more just for fun). 14:34 the pure amazement and wonder on both your faces at the "Young Forever" scene from Wembley Stadium (day 2) in 2019 🥺💜 that was us surprising the members, they had no clue we were going to sing that for them, and hence why they were quite overwhelmed by it. Ah, I loved seeing you enjoy this so much! I didn't really think your enthusiasm could be even higher, yet here we are 😅 Thank you so much for all these wonderful reactions 💜 CFA
This is awesome, thank you so much! We each had slightly different sightings of Chris Martin, but still interesting 😂 That's cool that he got to hear Butter so early! "Good song BTS" I'm actually super surprised BTS has never released a behind the scenes thing like this that shows all of their (mostly) untouched vocals. That seems like something they would do much more often! I didn't even recognize that as Wembley! I only have really seen it in the Queen Live Aid performance and it looked very different here 😅 Thank you again for the nice comment! Our enthusiasm knows no bounds 😂
@@AndrewBergSax ah yeah, they do show raw stuff from the recording process, just, a little randomly I think 😆. The behind-the-scenes for music videos are more regular (as in they can be expected to drop a few weeks after the MV for most cases). And studio things, they're released more at random times, things here and there... Oh yes of course, Wembley has had quite a few changes since Live Aid of course. Plus the floor area was also seats and not just a standing pit (although nobody was actually sitting 😂 I do recognize it because of the arch, and because that was a unique situation, only once on the entire tour.
@@AndrewBergSax There are many "raw vocal" clips of BTS through the years. The one I found interesting was how they created the theme song for their reality show "BTS In the Soop" which translates BTS in the Forest. This was a show create to replace their Bon Voyage series which they travel around the world to vacation in other countries. Since Covid prevent international travel, the company decided to set up a week in the "forest" for BTS to relax and just enjoy each other's company while doing things they always wanted to do, but never had the time. It's a fun, relaxing series. V & Jimin were just fooling around the electric piano creating silly songs and V created the melody which other members started randomly making up lyrics. Suga recorded the rough draft and at the very last episode. it show the guys actual in the studio recording the song! Here are some links to parts of processes. (The full lengthen series is found on Weverse.) ua-cam.com/video/RpQ-7L2hdUU/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/-xk-u5xesHI/v-deo.html
@@AndrewBergSax HYBE hoards footage! Watch for Bangtan Bombs in the future they drop stuff on us from last year or years ago. I mean they have vids. They just not sharing. Plus there r 3 Documentary movies.
2:17 JIMIN's handwriting on the glass. It says, "퇴근을 위하여!" which translates, "Waiting to get off work!" 2:07 If you think about what it took to travel to Korea around this time, what Chris Martic did to make this collaboration work blows my mind. Korea takes the COVID pandemic much more seriously than many other countries and traveling to Korea around the time Chris traveled (April-May, 2021) kinda went down like this: Regardless of your vaccine status, previous covid test results, or nationalities, everyone who arrives from foreign countries gets the first PCR test (nasal swab) at arrival by people who dressed up like right out of the Chernobyl nuclear site. Then you are sent to a single room in the very airport and quarantine until the test result comes back negative (usually several hours). Then you ride a bus or taxi designated by the government and goes to the designated hotel to quarantine for 14 days. You get yet another PCR test at check-in. While you quarantine here for 14 days, all foods and necessities are delivered at your door and you are not allowed to go outside of your room not to mention meeting up with anybody, wandering in the hallway or lobby area, or going out to go to stores, etc. You are not even allowed to meet up with your friends in person who are quarantining at the same hotel. If Chris Martin traveled with his producer, they wouldn't be able to talk in person while quarantining. You are supposed to spend 14 days in a COMPLETE AND UTTER ISOLATION. Then you are given one last PCR test on the 13th day and allowed to leave the hotel only when the test returns negative. This quarantine rule makes it SO CHALLENGING to travel to Korea, many families and friends around the globe plain gave up on traveling the last 2 years. AND CHRIST MARTIN DID THIS to meet up with the boys. And he did it in a foreign country where they do not have any family or close friends and couldn't communicate in their own language. And I respect him for that. Mutual respect and admiration from both BTS and Coldplay make this collab so amazing. I knew Hobi and Suga attended the Coldplay concert a few years back and never stopped gushing about it ever since and also Tae's Inner Child was inspired by Coldplay and also he mentioned Coldplay and how it influenced his music at Wembley. Jin also said how much he enjoyed Coldplay many times over. I hope to see many more collaborations between global artists like this.
Hoseok and namjoon attended their concert in Korea! I remember their selfie there. Also Jin has loved them since young. And CM actually quarantined 2 days for he had special permissions from SK government :)
Chris and his producer definitely went through a lot to work with BTS and truly collaborate in real time. The bond is so cool to see and hear in their singing. So joyful. Soulful.
In bts the real inspiration of coldplay is taehyung, and as always taehyung during interview in America ask the member who wants to collaborate only taehyung always said he wants coldplay to collaborate no other members said.. and the idea of singing fixed you is taehyung ideas.. among them taehyung is so vocal about coldplay..
There is behind the scenes of recording "Song Request", which is SUGA's collab with singer Lee So Ra. Also "In the Soop", which is a theme song for one of BTS shows, they made it for fun and SUGA is of course producer of it
13:38 To answer your question, they do have a behind the scene episode of how they made the “BTS in the SOOP” title track. It was really good how they did it.
This documentary is so good. I just loved both ur reactions. This is such a perfect collaboration between two like minded groups and the MV is out of this world amazing. I agree with what you said that BTS' music is good when you listen to it but YOU get blown away when you start reading their lyrics and understand the meaning behind them. I really hope you would listen to '134340' song from them in the future. I was blown away by their lyricism on this. Will u give a hint on what's on ur list for next week? Can't wait for ur next reaction.
134340 is definitely on the list! And next week I'm not sure yet. The one I wanted to post is an interview reaction, but the audio got distorted during filming so it might not make it to the channel 🙁 If not, it should be a solo song!
Caitlyn should watch their docuseries Burn The Stage (On UA-cam) , Bring The Soul and Break The Silence (Weverse) you find out so much more about the guys and their touring schedules. I love your reactions, so positive and I can tell you genuinely care for BTS 💜
the only full vid i can think of where it shows their recording is the one for the theme song of their show "BTS in the soop" . it's not really an official song and they're just goofing around but you can definitely hear their vocals especially vocal line. suga is the producer of the song and in charge of directing the members' singing while all the members composed it
14:21 I know other's have mentioned that the part where BTS is crying is from their 2019 concert at Wembley when ARMY surprised BTS by singing 'Young Forever". It's worth watching. You want a ver. where we see them all onstage together, otherwise you miss a lot of their reactions. You can see just how moved they all were. Here's a link to, what I consider, one of the better video's. 190602 ARMYs sing Young Forever to surprise BTS @ Speak Yourself Wembley Stadium London Concert - ua-cam.com/video/wKixYMiT_fA/v-deo.html
You talked about the crowd wanting to sing together in those times and this reminded me about Brazilian shows, you should watch the love yourself tour in Brazil, the Brazilian crowd sings THE WHOLE SHOW together, it's A-MAZING. The stadium where the show happened was built to keep the sound inside, but people could hear b-army from buildings in the neighborhood. I'm Brazilian, unfortunately I didn't knew BTS at the time #cry, but I watched the concert and it's the best energy, it's just so happy I couldn't stop myself from singing and jumping and enjoying the show even just from watching the recordings and fancams. Actually, not the whole show, b-army started singing before the show started. Brazil have a lot of problems, but damn the shows are amazing and I'm so proud of b-armys show
This was an amazing collaboration both musically and also just for the good if humanity. I think we all needed that comfort, and BTS and Coldplay definitely were the right choice to be that.
This video shows how funny, geniune, kind and humble the boys of BTS are.You guys will really like watching their variety show, Run BTS, it's hillarious!
Oh really🤔😉😏😏 Caitlyn loves documentaries? I would suggest she watch the Rise of Bangtan. Maybe she does her sub-series on the Rise of Bangtan, there are 18 episodes so far about 30 min each. It's fan made and excellent and professionally done
Here are three "Bangtan Bombs" with Jin, Tae and JK recording (the older ones I found subtitled versions, because the originals don't have it) ua-cam.com/video/tqrfvk8_kjw/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/Ednrm-uykm0/v-deo.html ua-cam.com/video/5QO3MsWaHE4/v-deo.html Edit: I remembered this one, the group vocals for I Need You ua-cam.com/video/nYyKzgjpL4Y/v-deo.html
You may also see Suga recording on "Song Request" song in BangtanTV channel. Yeah i wonder why they rarely uploaded the behindthescene process of the making...i'd love seeing that 😶
actually, the members said it themselves that song recording is not always fun and they would rather not show the process to the fans. i know producers will give them constructive criticism to inprove their singing more but immature fans won't get it especially solo fans of one member
You guys MUST watch their official docuseries somewhere along the way, they are the best I have ever seen of the type! Specially if you love those type of shoes I guarantee you'll love it. The first one which is also my favorite one is called "Burn the stage"
I loved this! You should definitely do more behind the scenes reaction videos! I know after every album release, Namjoon usually does a Vlive where he talks about the creation of the album and goes in depth with each track! I think in order to react to them you may have to blur out the Vlive logo to avoid it getting taken down but even if you check them out on your own time, I'd definitely recommend it! (Also unlimited candy canes for that mean girls reference Caitlyn, you go Caitlyn)
What do you mean do we have behind the scenes of their recordings lol we even have footage of them grocery shopping, sauna visiting, playing football with random kids on the streets... just anything haha🤣
Yay! Thank you for reacting to this! I feel the same with you guys. I love watching artists work together out of love and passion in their craft to create something beautiful. Being a Coldplayer and an Army, this is the best thing that has ever happened this year.
Coldplay+BTS= a match made in heaven for use to love and learn from! Anrew Berg, you are doing an amzing job at outlining how genuine and sweet this people are!
Hi ! Happy to see you react to the documentary as well, it's just a very wholesome behind the scenes ^^ You asked about other type of content like that, there is, and quite a lot, BTS is giving us so much content about how everything is created (from the music, lyrics/recording sessions, to the MVs, the concerts/live performances/ rehearsals/training...) so you'll just have the choice. A good and fun example of that is the creation of the OST for "In the Soop", it literally happened from nowhere when they were just chilling with a piano, and then they have shared all the recording in studio. Jungkook also recorded a song that he wrote from weverse comments from ARMY as lyrics, in a live streaming. (And if you like raw vocals, he basically does a mini-concert for every stream so you'll have the choice with him too) If you both really like documentaries, I really think that watching "The Rise of Bangtan" series would be a good idea, you'll love it, like seriously, it's better than most of the professional documentaries I seen in my life. I can't remember if you talked about watching it at some point or not ^^' Have a nice day, and once again thank you for your really nice reaction, you two are really interesting and so nice, it's always a pleasure to watch your videos ! :D
Haha I remember ARMYs were convinced of a collab when they saw pics that he was in SK- this was after BTS covered Fix You. Coldplay had an SK dance troupe in their Higher Power MV which “explained” the trip, the BTS collab wasn’t announced for a long time!
there's more BTS behind-the-scenes content (especially of their tour, there's 4 movies) you just have to know where to look! here's some suggestions: - bangtan bomb behind the scenes recording of "i need u" (i love this one lmao) - recording of "in the soop" - recording of "tonight", jin's solo song - recording of "euphoria" remix - jin practicing "epiphany" stage and finally, if you wanna dive REALLY deep into the music, DJ swivel did an hour long video detailing his entire process behind making the song euphoria, basically touching on every single instrument type + the vocals + extra stories and insights and things oh! also! when it comes to filming and dance practices, there are practically an infinite number of those
In that clip...English audience was singing BTS song Forever Young to them in Korean...I love that Chris said this is the most fun he's had in the studio .....ever
Thank you both for this reaction! I love this documentary so much, the only thing that would make this better is if it was longer! I loved Chris and BTS’s interactions so much, they’re so wholesome!💜
Hey!!! I hope you'll react to the whole MAP OF THE SOUL:7 and also the whole D-2 album by AGUST D(SUGA)!!!! I also recommend you a channel of bts' english lyrics with accurate lyrics so far... it's called DIAL 6137!!! Stay safe!!!
ahh you’re back 🥰 i always look forward to your uploads! i love chris as a person, i didnt know much about him as a person before this collab happened. seeing bts say how genuine he was makes me super happy, so many people just exploit them for clout and clicks.
I’m sure someone has already suggested it but a good example of bts’s isolated vocals is this vid of jk doing the adlibs for euphoria ua-cam.com/video/uebcd3HoNOs/v-deo.html also there’s a video of them making the theme song for a show called in the soop but I don’t have a link for that unfortunately
You guys are so cute too! This song not only represents and speaks of love. This song IS love. The mutual admiration of both groups. They show us what love looks like in this documentary. BTS always makes me want to be a better person and now Coldplay does the same for me too. Look at the happiness and the energy that is generated by love in this! You literally see the light! 💜
I love how you are super excited and appreciate the two group's interactions and can see how they enjoy doing the collaboration. I saw another reactor being super cynical about this video, asking how authentic the collaboration is... Like... Everyone can see how wholesome BTS and Coldplay were together. Keep up the enthusiasm and love! Borahae!
I'm so glad you and Caitlin could both watch this!!! I just KNEW you would both love it! From the way they talked about the meaning of the lyrics, to the peeks at the recording process. I wish it had been an hour long documentary too!! I gained even more admiration for Chris martin after watching this also.
thank you for another great video; i loved your reactions!! there definitely are more "recording behind the scenes"-type videos (JK recording his adlibs for euphoria, suga has a few from d-2/other features, and the In the SOOP theme song making come to mind), but none are as detailed as this video/the video for ON. the thing i'm really curious about though.... are you getting these "feeding the algorithm" clips from watching the bangtan bombs/run bts?? totally understand if you don't want to react to them, as they're not really music-related per se, but i think y'all might find them entertaining :)
Thank you for those recommendations! That sounds great! For the feeding the algorithm clips, literally all I do is type "bts eating" into youtube and just watch through compilation videos people have made until I find a clip I like 😂
Because your wife said that she loves documentaries and I really love the way you both react to this documentary, I really hope you could react to BTS documentaries series: Burn the Stage series (2017 concert), Bring the Soul series (2018 concert), and Break the Silence series (2019 concert)
Honestly after the Ticketmaster stress-out of the week, I just wanted to enjoy something BTS related and y'all helped me do that. THANK YOU! I have zero notes except that I hope no one drank a shot every time you said "cute" 😂💜 CFA
Joyful reaction!😁 Both of your smiles are contagious, thanks for bringing a smile to my day! This doc has everything, Coldplayers, ARMY, song explanation story, technical process, and raw singing. SO GOOD! Seeing them so happily come together with respect and joy, lifts my heart.😊 Watching your eyes light up (the both of you) when Suga did his verse, precious!😊 Journey on! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Very happy to hear that Caitlin will be joining you so often for videos. You are both so positive and fun to watch, and you bring interesting perspectives, both musically and lyrically. Can't wait to see more :)
Thank you for your video. BTS made and done so much in such a short time. It’s unbelievable, hard to explain how they touch so many people’s heart. I hope you guys are one of the lucky ones to get tickets to their PTD concerts in LA.
One thing’s for sure, you will never run out of clips of BTS eating to feed the UA-cam algorithm 🤣 A minute in and you both immediately started bopping your heads along with Chris. That’s how I know I’m in the right place haha. That line of ‘today has just been like everything I could have dreamed, but a little bit better’ screams a brilliant ending to a novel to me. All I could think of the first time I watched this and they were sat listing all of Chris’ qualities was that they were all the same reasons BTS has wiggled its way in and made itself right at home for me. If that ain’t the groundwork for a good collab, I don’t know what is. I love how this video is essentially just BTS and Chris Martin fangirling (meant in the best way) over each other for 13 minutes straight and I feel like them recording it together in person just added a whole different element to it and you can definitely sense it in the song. I completely agree that this little behind the scenes of the recording process really just highlights how much of a genuinely collaborative effort it truly was and it just makes me enjoy and appreciate the song that much more. ‘It’s so genuine’ YESSS. I just keep coming back to this and this alone. This whole entire project just screams it - it’s a rare case of the more I see about it, the happier I get. The clips of Chris giving his feedback and praise as they recorded and the members’ delighted reactions were so lovely. If we could just have like a ten minute version of the group boogie at the end though, that would be great. The editor who decided they really needed to switch from Yoongi’s rap in Mic Drop to him screaming out his jitters in a recording booth with absolutely no warning or definitely deserves a raise. I hope you realise the minute you went past that ‘the music is great’ point, there was to be no return for you both. Speaking from the perspective of someone who was bored on UA-cam one day, clicked on a random video and has no idea what happened after that but here we are lmao. I just wanted to say that watching the two of you enjoy yourselves is literally the most contagiously wholesome, happy energy. I could easily watch this kind of behind the scenes content for hours on end, and the two of you reacting on top of it was a delight - thank you both for a lovely intro into my weekend!
Thank you so much! I'm happy I got another essay this week 😂 and I completely agree about the genuineness of the collaboration. I love finding out more about it. I agree that the Mic Drop transition was masterful editing. We need more of this type of content 😂
BTS is so humble and really so is Chris. I really need to buy more ColdPlay. If you have premium UA-cam, Burn the stage covers the Wings tour. And I have found many behind the scene video or them reacting to their MV, you get some behind the scenes info and memories of the shoot. This could be around the time that Butter was coming out, based on Jimin's blond hair, he went back to black by the time they did PTD. Totally agree about the meaning of BTS's lyric changing you from casual to joining ARMY. And Andrew and Caitlin are a perfect collaboration, you two are so cute, I love the enthusiasm you both show, it is genuine.
You HAVE to watch *"Rise of Bangtan"* series made by fellow ARMY & amazing team. She has film background so this series is absolutely amazing. It was supposed to be a fan-made movie length to show her family & friends etc what BTS means to her, but it totally turned into something more. The series is still ongoing with new episodes being added. 😁💜
You guys have such a wonderful energy together, made whole night. 😘 They just released an acoustic video of them together at The Apollo. It's a must watch. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
First of all y'all are too damn cute and it's just hilarious watching these videos. Secondly I was right there with you with the Mean Girls reference!!!💜💜
I love this reaction! I too am a huge fan on behind the scenes - they have one on Bangtan TV that shows behind the scenes at Grand Central Station. In the last episode of In the Soop, Season 1, they show the guys recording the theme song for In the Soop - very cool. I'd love to see your reaction to JK's solo, Euphoria (especially live at Wembley) and the Wembley show where Army sang Forever Young to BTS. It is such an amazing, emotional moment!
Loved your reaction, and love this documentary. They are all just such good souls. Prior to BTS covering Fix You, I had not heard of Coldplay (and I had barely started looking into BTS at that point) and I really loved the song, and their cover of it. There are a number of videos of BTS singing, from short recording clips like JK doing Euphoria to them going full ham in Karaoke during Run BTS episodes. My favourite Karaoke recording, though, is Map of the Song, which they did for Festa 2020. And I will never get tired of Baby JK doing a Trot version of N.O. Loved it💜 Young forever is a special song for bts but esp for Jimin. In early 2018 when all the members were going through a really hard time due to the tremendous pressures and fears from suddenly blowing up worldwide (and they were slandered everywhere for so long as well. Actually they seriously considered disbanding) Jimin found a video of ARMY singing along Young Forever. He said he cried so much at the scene, found the reason he should go on, and gained the strength to do it.
Ikr😢😢 as yoongi said, "what a relief we are seven, what a relif we have each other" to decide not do disband in the end, and they "were afraid of the fall but not of landing😭
There is a lot of videos and clips like documentary that BTS have (BANGTANTV), most ARMYs love this the most - looking behind the scene. There are big documentary series like Burn the stage or Bring the soul.... Video vlogs on their YT channel when you can see how they work. If you look you will find. And if we don't think/talk only about music most MVs have behind videos, so you can watch how MV was made and how they worked and what they were thinking in that moment. So yeah there is a lot you can watch. If we talking about video when they record that most popular are song to "in the soop" JK "Euphoria" Suga "Song Request", Jin and V that have videos like this too but now I don't remember to wich songs.
Watching this definitely made my night way more fun! I've said it before but I absolutely love the energy and joy you guys bring to your reactions! It's always beautiful to listen to your musical insights! (Finger snaps are superior!) Hope you guys have a great time going down this rabbit hole! 💜 P. S. Caitlin - You're my spirit animal! Mean girls for the win!!!
I can't wait until you've reacted to enough songs to finally watch one of their concerts with Caitlin! And yes, the concert maybe 2.5 hours long so that'll be a long reaction but we will watch!
If you really love watching behind the scene, I suggest you to see the making of BTS in the soop ost. They also provide subtitle there so you can understand what they were saying
I loved your reaction! This documentary is just a delight on its own and I love the song as well, but I enjoyed watching you guys enjoy it too! You guys are adorable and make me smile, so thank you ^_^
It was great seeing you and Caitlin together and reacting to this beautiful documentary.. BTS will have a concert in LA on Nov 27, 28, Dec 1 & 2 and tickets are being sold now if you have the chance go. Borahae to you both 💜😉
@@AndrewBergSax I learned from some sources that it will eventually ease out and that there are no bad seats in a BTS concert 😉. Good luck on your quest.
They have something like behind the scene on youtube... Something name "burn the stage" if im not mistaken...you can watch it if you want to see the bts during their tour
Please react to videos with the individual vocalists' live stage moments. You'll see their raw singing skills. For example, Jin's high notes compilation. It's all live vocals. You'll be amazed to see him belt.
If you guys want to watch another documentary film like this, there's one BTS made for ON. It's titled BTS 'ON' Commentary Film: Dialogue, available on BANGTANTV.
Thank you so much, that sounds so amazing, I'll definitely check it out 😊
@@AndrewBergSax yes check it out with your wife.
I agree, you and Caitlin should both watch that part of the Wembley concert.
At the beginning that was a French project.. I know perfectly that's not the fault of ARMY, but Bighit seriously.... At least, the boys were so touched 💜
I'm sorry for my English and plz no hate
That's so awesome!
Yeah, and their hair colours (The BTS Hair Clock) are the same that they had during the Butter MV, so he probably got there right around the time they were done filming it.

The scene of the audience was in Wembley when the whole crowd sang one of their songs in Korean which was a surprise for BTS 💜
Oh that's so cool! Wembley looked so different from other times I've seen it (which is basically just the iconic Queen Live Aid performance). Haha
@@AndrewBergSax Jin repeated the iconic Freddie Mercury AYO moment as well (he credited Queen of course)
The part where they're crying was at their concert at Wembley. ARMY surprised them and sang Young Forever to them. You teally should watch the Young forever MV, get the meaning of the lyrics and then react to the video of the surprise. Very emotional. You see the bond between BTS and ARMY.
Oh that sounds amazing! I'll definitely make sure it's on my list

That's so cool! I saw that they did a performance of it at Global Citizen, but haven't had a chance to see it yet!
@@AndrewBergSax For Global Citizen u have to watch a few vids. The actual channel Global Citizen focused too much on Coldplay on the stage but the Army vids showed u the screens BTS was on. OMG, Caitlin you love behind the scenes content? Has anyone told you about The Rise of Bangtan? - an incredible docu-series about BTS from the very beginning. I think you’d absolutely love it!!!
Or Run BTS, or BonVoyage, or ITS?? 😍
rise of bangtan is fan-made, I would've recommended burn the stage, bring the soul and break the silence official tour documentaries first
Rise of Bangtan is highly recommended. Yes, it's fan made, but beautifully done.

Chris Martin disclosed in an interview that it was actually Jin who initiated the Coldplay collaboration.

Because we come from different sides" .. he says
.if that's possible.
Guys guys guys: in RUN BTS last last week, JK said that when Coldplay started he was still in his dad's body XD I find the thought/sentence hilarious.

I think Caitlin would love to watch BTS' official behind the scene documentaries, such as
- Burn the Stage the series and the movie (about their 2017 tour)
- Bring the Soul the series and the movie (on their LY tour)
- Break the Silence series and the movie ( about their persona, stadium tour, fame).
Context is everything.
oh yes, feeding JK is always very important 😁
2:25 "he actually went to Korea" yep, all of the footage (except for the concert inserts of course) in this documentary is inside the new Hybe building. Different offices, (music/recording & dance) studios, common areas...
6:30 you both sharing your "I saw Chris Martin..." stories 🤣 oh ... this is amazing 🤣🤣🤣
11:05 yes, this was back in April this year, and Butter was released in May, so they were probably preparing for that release, learning the choreo, putting the last finishing touches on the mix/master, ... at the time.
14:34 the pure amazement and wonder on both your faces at the "Young Forever" scene from Wembley Stadium (day 2) in 2019 🥺💜
that was us surprising the members, they had no clue we were going to sing that for them, and hence why they were quite overwhelmed by it.

I'm actually super surprised BTS has never released a behind the scenes thing like this that shows all of their (mostly) untouched vocals. That seems like something they would do much more often!
I didn't even recognize that as Wembley! I only have really seen it in the Queen Live Aid performance and it looked very different here 😅
Thank you again for the nice comment!
Plus the floor area was also seats and not just a standing pit (although nobody was actually sitting 😂
I do recognize it because of the arch, and because that was a unique situation, only once on the entire tour.
2:17 JIMIN's handwriting on the glass. It says, "퇴근을 위하여!" which translates, "Waiting to get off work!"
2:07 If you think about what it took to travel to Korea around this time, what Chris Martic did to make this collaboration work blows my mind. Korea takes the COVID pandemic much more seriously than many other countries and traveling to Korea around the time Chris traveled (April-May, 2021) kinda went down like this:
Regardless of your vaccine status, previous covid test results, or nationalities, everyone who arrives from foreign countries gets the first PCR test (nasal swab) at arrival by people who dressed up like right out of the Chernobyl nuclear site.
I hope to see many more collaborations between global artists like this.
wow, yes! He stan MVPs! ty
@@infayowe9791 That's right. We can say it's Tae who envisioned this collab first and actually made it happen!

(And if you like raw vocals, he basically does a mini-concert for every stream so you'll have the choice with him too)
If you both really like documentaries, I really think that watching "The Rise of Bangtan" series would be a good idea, you'll love it, like seriously, it's better than most of the professional documentaries I seen in my life. I can't remember if you talked about watching it at some point or not ^^'

- recording of "euphoria" remix
- jin practicing "epiphany" stage

oh! also! when it comes to filming and dance practices, there are practically an infinite number of those
In that clip...English audience was singing BTS song Forever Young to them in Korean...I love that Chris said this is the most fun he's had in the studio .....ever
Episode 8 of In the Soop when they recorded the theme song of the series that they all made one rainy day as a lark.
The two of you have such spontaneous heartfelt reactions that you literally leave me smiling for the rest of my day. Thanks!!! I purple you 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Thank you so much 💜
Thank you both for this reaction! I love this documentary so much, the only thing that would make this better is if it was longer! I loved Chris and BTS’s interactions so much, they’re so wholesome!💜
I agree! I would love to see an hour version of this! 💜
Thanks for the recommendations!
Your joy in this was infectious. It’s a song of hope, of fighting against the negative voices and using music to win through.
I love you two as a couple. You two are a beautiful collaboration and I love your reactions!💜
I think you guys might be right that this was before Butter released, as they had their Butter hair colours - I hadn't even thought about that!
Amazing collaboration from 2 legends 😍 and great reaction as always, thank you! Much love for both of you 😘💜💜
ahh you’re back 🥰 i always look forward to your uploads! i love chris as a person, i didnt know much about him as a person before this collab happened. seeing bts say how genuine he was makes me super happy, so many people just exploit them for clout and clicks.
Thank you so much, and I agree, they seem to have such a genuine connection!
i didn't know much about him as a person either. I was really happy to learn more. =0)
I’m sure someone has already suggested it but a good example of bts’s isolated vocals is this vid of jk doing the adlibs for euphoria ua-cam.com/video/uebcd3HoNOs/v-deo.html also there’s a video of them making the theme song for a show called in the soop but I don’t have a link for that unfortunately
react how they make a themesong of bts in the soop seson 1 impronto suga is the producer
Oh that sounds awesome, thank you!
Great reaction. Thank you. I love the documentary so much, I watch it every time I need a positive moment.
They are all SO extremely talented. Oh please check out more!
Honestly after the Ticketmaster stress-out of the week, I just wanted to enjoy something BTS related and y'all helped me do that. THANK YOU! I have zero notes except that I hope no one drank a shot every time you said "cute" 😂💜
CFA
🤣 good point 🍹
you survived Ticketmaster? my respect, good stranger 💜
Hahaha "cute" is a technical term! 😂
Wow did you get the tickets?
@@elina786 No 😑
Joyful reaction!😁 Both of your smiles are contagious, thanks for bringing a smile to my day! This doc has everything, Coldplayers, ARMY, song explanation story, technical process, and raw singing. SO GOOD! Seeing them so happily come together with respect and joy, lifts my heart.😊
Watching your eyes light up (the both of you) when Suga did his verse, precious!😊
Journey on! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Very happy to hear that Caitlin will be joining you so often for videos. You are both so positive and fun to watch, and you bring interesting perspectives, both musically and lyrically. Can't wait to see more :)
I love your reactions so much. And I totally anticipate this wholesome vibe of happy energy, when Caitlyn comes along! ❤️
Thank you for your video. BTS made and done so much in such a short time. It’s unbelievable, hard to explain how they touch so many people’s heart. I hope you guys are one of the lucky ones to get tickets to their PTD concerts in LA.
After BTS covered "Fix You" for MTV Unplugged in February, Coldplay flew to Korea last April. Then Butter was just released end of May.
So much fun watching all these reactions with you guys! Caitlin, I feel like you and I have exactly the same energy levels 😁😅
Keep up the good work 💜
😂 thank you!
One thing’s for sure, you will never run out of clips of BTS eating to feed the UA-cam algorithm 🤣
A minute in and you both immediately started bopping your heads along with Chris.
I second this - anyone who enjoys My Universe and seeing these 2 awesome bands physically perform it together should watch the Apollo acoustic
(aka, this is what happens when RM leaves the room) ua-cam.com/video/OkA35GnNeQw/v-deo.html
Ikr😢😢 as yoongi said, "what a relief we are seven, what a relif we have each other" to decide not do disband in the end,
and they "were afraid of the fall but not of landing😭
P. S. Caitlin - You're my spirit animal! Mean girls for the win!!!
Yes the members were tearing up when UK ARMY surprised them during their Wembley concert.
I can't wait until you've reacted to enough songs to finally watch one of their concerts with Caitlin! And yes, the concert maybe 2.5 hours long so that'll be a long reaction but we will watch!
Haha yes!!! I actually might get a lot of spoilers if I'm able to get tickets to PTD in LA!
i love to see genuine reactions like yours! thank you sm for your sweet reaction! 💜
You guys are adorable and make me smile, so thank you ^_^
New song produced by SUGA will be released on October 15! "You" by Japanese singer ØMI. Don't forget to check it out!
I wondered too if they were giving him a sneak peek at Butter before it was released. It does sound like it's the first time he has heard it.
😀
it was a sneak peek yes
It was great seeing you and Caitlin together and reacting to this beautiful documentary.. BTS will have a concert in LA on Nov 27, 28, Dec 1 & 2 and tickets are being sold now if you have the chance go. Borahae to you both 💜😉
Thank you! I'm trying, but Ticketmaster won't verify me so I can buy early! 😅😭
@@AndrewBergSax I learned from some sources that it will eventually ease out and that there are no bad seats in a BTS concert 😉. Good luck on your quest.
Chris sat in quarantine for 2 weeks just to work with BTS. Mad respect for that. Btw one reactor asked if this is a genuine collab. He is so dense.
Actually he did two days he had special permission
They have something like behind the scene on youtube... Something name "burn the stage" if im not mistaken...you can watch it if you want to see the bts during their tour
I love BTS and Coldplay! But I also love watching you both! I feel you found your soulmate in each other. 🥰
Thank you, I actually reacted to that one already 😀
