To answer your question directly, yes, the steps in the video should work for a 2018 Sonata push start car, but there are a few things to keep in mind:
Make sure that the key fob batteries are new.
Be sure to cycle the ignition on and off exactly three times, and press the lock button on the key fob within five seconds of hearing the lock sound.
If you have multiple key fobs to program, be sure to do them one at a time, pressing the lock button on each fob within 10 seconds of hearing the lock sound.
If you are still having trouble programming your key fob, you may need to take it to a qualified locksmith or Hyundai dealer.
