It will not work without the chip, it reads from the chip inside the key. All you can do is have it reprogram it by your dealer, need a keynumber and vin number I guess.

@@richardkelvin8526 The HP Tuner has an option to turn off the immobilizer system, at least on the old PATS systems it did. I am not sure if it still does, I use SMART PRO, but it would be nice to try the HP Tuner and see if it works still.

Yes you do, it will not work because it have to introduce your ecu with the chip inside your key.

I have a 98 es300 lost all keys will your method work with no key already tore lock cylinder out so I can turn the ignition switch.
