Great video. Had to get a special tool to move around one of the hose clamps because it was in the way of the bolt, lowest hose of course. Like they did it on purpose... Once bolts off just wiggle the hoses off, no need to pry. Now I have no need for special tool anymore. I moved the hose clamps around with pliers after I finished to clear space for the bolts. Flushed with 1/4 turn garden hose for 4 minutes. HEAT IS ON! Now next project is A/C... Thanks dude! You saved a lot of grief.
This worked for me in my 2000 Buick LeSabre. I flushed it back-and-forth a couple times after draining the whole system, and as soon as I filled it back up and fired up the engine, my heater started working
Great video! Thank you. Saved me $40 for the 'heater core flush tool' - not that I was going to buy it for sure :). Good tip about the PSI. Now I gotta wait until the freeze is over to do this. Also, doesn't seem like you had to block off the radiator hoses so 10 min job!
The top hose that is slightly inset towards the center of car is the discharge from the water pump. The bottom hose is the return line from the heater core
i would recommend removing hoses only and not the 10mm clamp on the fitting that have 0 rings on them cause they could be rusted gunk ed up. when you then put them back on they might not seal right and then you will have a leak.
Directions not clear. Penis now stuck in my Buick Lesabre.
Now that's funny ...right there!
Great job explaining and moving the camera to the things you were talking about. Easy to understand
Replaced the thermostat with no luck, so guess this is next. Thank you for the vid!

Does this mean you do NOT have to remove the dash to REPLACE the heater core?
USA Resident all I did here was flush it. To replace it I don't know.
Ok, I wasn't sure if you knew or not. Thank you.
Definitely means you didn't watch the video at all
No, just cut out a big hole in the firewall and yank it out. ;)
Where did you get the bleeder valve. I have the 7mm hex and I hate it.
How do I know which side is the inlet or outlet?
how do i know if my braps are healthy
So the bottom one is the outlet right?
Yes
that black junk in the cup is from corroded hose, should replaced those too.
How about just turning on the heater and flush it that way?
Hey wait this isn't ghost in the hill
Yeah as long as those connectors aren't seized in place.
Was this intended to be a car channel before you said "fuck it, meme time"?
This isnt a meme channel. Buick content is still on the table.
Respectable. Do whatever you feel as long as ghost in the hill comes out sometime in my lifetime. I am expecting Buick porn soon though now.
Lousy lighting and too shakey.
Sorry John I hadn't had breakfast that day because I was low on cash and it was cloudy out, I promise to do better next time
@@STRUGGNUGGS shoulda just had some struggle nuggets for breakfast made out of that coolant shit
