My assumption was that my husband would help in the kitchen because he knows how to cook. Only to find that, he prefers to eat food that I've made instead. His hands "forgot" how to do housework 😂!! It used to bother me at first, until I decided to make peace with it and accepted my role as the wife in the home.

It's not excuses Lisa. The responsibilities are overwhelming 😂😂😂😂Most especially the raising of young children. Once a woman gives birth, the maternal instincts kick in. Her children come first naturally. The brain space for sex is completely taken up by the babies 😂
And that’s what we have to work on. Ensuring our husband remain in first place. And communicating the support we need etc. I know it’s not easy but more service needed hehe
@@LisaKusiima That's right. I still believe there is a lot of unfair pressure on women to make marriages work. There is one major expection on a man ie to make money and if a man chose not to do it, he would still get away with it. They would say he has been bewitched. 😷😷 As his wife, it is your responsibility to pray and fast for him( Mind you, this is something he would still have to do with or without a marriage) I have never heard anyone tell men to be their wife's peace, to be emotionally there for them, to pray for them at midnight to make sure they are not snatched, to treat his inlaws well, etc. Meanwhile the expections on women keep piling up. Be a lady on the street, and a beast in bed. Be his peace. Make sure the children do not disturb his peace. Be the peace to his inlaws. Pursue a career. Etc. Lisa, who is supposed to be the woman's peace? It's a genuine question by the way. Why is it that when a man cheats, its never his Fault? 😁😁😁Could you kindly have a guest to discuss the role of a man in a marriage or you have done that already 🤔🤔.
