I was reading Matthew 19 it's really about marriage and the pharisees asked Jesus about divorce and in verse 10 the disciples say to Jesus " if such is the case of a man with his wife it is better not to marry" and i asked God do you want us to be alone? After a few days i re-read it again and got context of it.... I feel these days divorce is the norm, if your feelings die divorce, and the like etc... I understood from that text in matthew 19 that Jesus' message was that marriage requires permance and work, so if you're not ready to do those things bambi... Thats why the disciples say it is better not to marry if you don't understand that

I heard you mention signing prenups as a bad thing. Isn't this important so that, if God forbid, matters go sideways then at least the government finds you with an existing framework, for handling the situation in addition to the prevailing marital law?
How we start the marriage shows the attitude of the heart. We are already planning for it to fail?
I understand how it could be interpreted like that.
It's just like car insurance, where you have never had an accident before yet it's better to have it and not need it.
Also, considering most divorces are initiated by women, in these modern times prenups are some of the options available to shield all parties from potential distress. The plan is to never need it and keep everyone's intentions honest.
You could maybe explore this topic in the future.
