What do you think of Singapore?! Are you as amazed as we are??? 👀 We've created a Travel Guide to Singapore, so if you're going to visit the country, or just want to support us here's the link: buymeacoffee.com/jayandkarolina/e/171815 ❤
Most normal ppl in the world will be amazed by SG success as a country that have done it without having any god given natural resources …EXCEPT our bitter & insecure next door neighbour who always hate to see s’pore prosperous😭Just be observant & u will always see those ppl from that lazy country appearing in every S’pore post then criticising & making up stories about singapore. Just U wait & see haha 😅
as a Singaporean, i love my life in Singapore lah. never switching to Hong Kong, i always love Singapore. most normal ppl in the world always switch to Singapore, even Canada's population lah.
We were so happy chatting with Gerard and Russel! They are super nice people and we got to know so many interesting facts 😍 We even managed to meet up afterwards for a short bit!
thank you for sharing singapore’s good side. nowadays people don’t really focus on the plus points of singapore and it just makes me feel happy that you appreciate our culture and our country ❤️
This is one of the BEST video of Singapore I've seen. The places you've gone to take a walk at Raffles Place, walk along the marina bay and Singapore River, visit the Apple Store, eating Ya Kun Kaya toast and Indian food are among the BEST things to do. Although I prefer to walk there or cycle during the mornings or evenings. 😂 Just a comment to your question, the chinese, malay, indians and other races, regardless of religions, we all treat one another with respect when we work or interact. Our best friends may be chinese, indian or malay or any race. My teenage daughter went for her school trip in Sarawak Malaysia and she could share room and bed with her 2 best friends, both girls from another race and they looked out for one another.
Thank you so much 😍 We wanted to show more Singapore from its best perspective but not only going to most touristy places but also show how different cultures intertwine and luckily enough we could have had some conversations with the locals ❤️ It’s truly impressive that there’s no signs of racism or discrimination of any sorts - these days it’s pretty rare to find people of different backgrounds being so tolerant 🙏 The younger generation (like your daughter) is the biggest proof of the undergoing process of sharing acceptance!
Hi I don't think the Yakun auntie was rude. Singapore is having a shortage of workers and many people do not want to work in the F&B sector because of the long hours and stress. I saw from your video 2 aunties manning the shop and there was a long queue out there. The aunties have no time for small talks (haha). YaKun service is generally very good and I have a very good opinion about this company. I heard from one of the YaKun aunties that the bosses in YaKun are very nice people and I personally have spoken to the big boss while he was in one of his outlets. Very humble and nice guy. The founder of the company was a man named Ya Kun and i have ordered from his hawker stall before (that was before his children took over and YaKun became big in Singapore and around the region). You just have to yell your order while he was busy preparing the toast and coffee and he would just glance at you quickly. Without fail, the order would come out CORRECTLY. He had a photographic memory. BTW I am Singaporean.
We’ve actually found it impressive how fast she was serving everyone! It’s funny but we got used to different temperaments in SE Asia 😬 We quite enjoyed watching the bossy aunties haha
Welcome back to Singapore, Jay & Carolina. Have a great stay, try all our local fare at our hawker centres, coffeeshops & foodcourts. Take the mrt to the different surburbs & see how the locals enjoy their neighbourhood.
Thanks so much! 😊 We love to travel so it’s always a pleasure to share our experiences along the way with you! Especially if we film in one of our favourite places in the world 🗺️ 🇸🇬❤️
So glad you enjoyed your time back in Singapore! Your video captured the essence of the city perfectly - from indulging in delicious Kaya Toast to exploring new areas and interacting with friendly locals. It's got me even more excited for my upcoming trip to Singapore! Thanks for sharing your experience. 🇸🇬✨
Glad you enjoyed it! That's exactly how we wanted to show a country that stole our hearts in the beginning of our SEA trip ❤️ Have fun on your trip! We're going to upload more videos soon so they might also help you to plan it and see the best foodie spots 😍
@@JayandKarolina Thank you 🙏🏼 Im subscribed so keep my eyes out for new videos! It can quickly become overwhelming when trying to plan travel so find these videos super useful 😄
Hi karolina & Jayesh, Kaya toast is great, but can be a little sweet, so it’s great to wash it down with some unsweetened Tea or coffee . But probably he best breakfast I’ve had in Singapore was Pandan pancakes at Chye Seng Huat Hardware, at Lavender . If it’s not the best for you, then definitely the most exotic pancakes you can have when in Singapore. Just ask for the Gula Melaka syrup to placed on the side, and not on the pancakes themselves, so you can sweeten the pancakes accordingly to your taste !
Karolina really does her research well! On rojak, it has a Malay origin. But like everything in Singapore, each community does its own take on any particular dish. So this was a Chinese version of rojak. The dressing is made of shrimp paste, tamarind, sugar and other stuff/spices. The thing that locals sometimes translate as "turnip" is known as Jicama or Yam Bean to Westerners. Locals would know it as Bang Kuang. Sometimes a completely different dish is may also be known as Rojak or Indian Rojak or Pasembur. It is made by the Indian community in Singapore/Malaysia. It is mixed assortment of savoury fritters served with a sweet potato based sauce. Also a fantastic dish that any visitor should try.
Thank you so much 😍 I'd say I'm better in planning what to do/see for ourselves, but then Jay comes with his UA-cam brain and adds to the plan all the missing things that might interest YOU!
I am loving your channel guys! I’m an Aussie who tries to travel to Singapore every year and there’s always something new and exciting every time I go. It’s awesome watching you both discover this fantastic place and great that you got to speak and eat with the beautiful locals… something that many tourists don’t bother to do. I’m off there again in August and, as always, my first meal will be at Tian Tian chicken rice! Happy travels guys!
Awesome! Thank you! Our pleasure 😍 We think that if you are willing to speak with the locals, even if sometimes they might be very shy, there's no harm to start a conversation which can turn out to be super interesting (like in our case!). We weren't 100% sure either if people would want to speak to 2 weirdos holding the GoPro and vlogging but at the end we had such an amazing evening with Gerard and Russell!!! We totally get why you keep coming to Singapore! Sooner or later we will definitely decide to be back for the 3rd time ❤️ Have a great time in August 🇸🇬
Having lived in Singapore as a kid, definitely very easy to love Singapore. It has also changed a lot since the 90s so I do like that you guys take the time to explore different parts of Singapore.
One thing abt SG that you will find very fascinating in overall from your experience here is the discipline and not so much the word that people tends to use "Controlling". In the past, those laws "No littering", "No Smoking here", are very prevalent and strictly enforced to the point, yr neighbour will rat you out for attempting to litter so you lose money. Nowadays, this rules are not strictly enforced, if you travel out past the city area and wander around the HBD void decks, you be surprise to see some people still litter even under a "No Littering" sign. Those are but a one-in-a thousand encounters, because those rules are taught to us from our parents who were disciplined by those rules. And the newer generations(majority) learned these good habits. These good habits are also constantly reinforced by our teachers, by our social studies, constantly to remind us, the city we lived today is shaped by our hands. The government can make the rules, but its really up to the people to enforce it.
It seems like the culture imprinted on people this behaviour so much not to litter that for everyone it’s just a natural thing to follow 🙏 It’s the biggest sign how aware is the society about the environment as well!

Yes there’s so much to try! Together with Karolina we like to taste different things and she’s taking pictures for the other social media and planning most of the stuff - at the end we’re working together and sooner or later hopefully we both will be vlogging and feeling comfortable in front of the camera 🥰🙌
Thank you so much 😍🙏 Talking to people opens up the possibilities for us to expand our knowledge and understanding of the culture! So whenever possible, we love to do this!
That’s what always enriches our experience - meeting locals who you can freely talk with about the customs, culture and general life 😄 Only then you can truly understand the people!
This is the best Video I have so far seen about Singapore. With this I can authentically imagine how it looks like. I liked the little food stores you showed so naturally. The camera was holding good. The converations as well. Just stay like this. ❤
Glad you enjoyed it! Our pleasure ❤️ It feels actually very good when our efforts are being appreciated and you like watching the videos! Gives us all more confidence and a huge dose of motivation for future videos 😍
Hey Jayesh, welcome back to Singapore! This channel has blown up since I first came across it almost a year ago. How time flies! Glad that you're back and hopefully you're enjoying it as much as I enjoy watching your videos on this channel and gig hustle.
The Singaporean hospitality is honestly another level! Everyone is so welcoming, friendly and happy for you visiting their country 😍 We’re missing SG so much but will be back definitely soon!
Guys, nice to have you back in Singapore! Can't believe it was several months ago since your first visit! Seemed like you have made some local friends and to be honest that's the best part with travels. Enjoy your stay and hope you come across more fun adventures. I know it, I'm sure you know it. Top of the league yeah baby yeah. YNWA❤
It felt amazing to be back after such an incredible time spent in SEA ❤️ Having these conversations with the locals are the best, I totally agree! Them always help us to get to know the culture better and hear interesting information that otherwise we would have no idea about! YNWA 🥳🥳🥳
Glad that you 2 are here. You can compare the kopi sets between famous ones against those from hawker centre and kopitiam with price variations. E.g. The chain Kopitiam toast set is lower price than Ya Kun or Toast Box.
That’s what we did 😬 We love the Ya Kun Kaya Toast branch for the full breakfast experience but on some of the days we loved going to the Hawker Centres and grab a quick breakfast which did taste equally good 😋😋😋
I am glad you two get to share a table with locals at Maxwell, a good mix of characters too. That's the usual local ambience and wonderful that you get to experience that. Singapore is not spotless clean. There are litters still and we can definitely do better. Our recycling culture is present but not enforced so a lot of room to improve there and learn from other countries like Taiwan and Japan.
We were extremely lucky to share a meal with Gerard and Russell, with whom it was difficult to end a conversation 👍 Recycling in Europe is questionable too since we cannot really see what's happening to people not doing the practices properly or how even big companies collecting money are then sorting the rubbish out 😅 It would be definitely better if it was more transparent!
welcome back to SG!! saw your first video on Singapore and loved how you compiled all that into the few lovely videos~ hope enjoy your trip here once again!!!!🥰
Thanks for this vlog guys! Your videos are getting better and better, cannot wait for more content to come! Besides, I ❤ Singapore! On my bucket list 📌 🗺️
We are just reciprocating friendliness with friendliness. You guys are so polite and gracious ❤ Your videos made me realised that even the older generations speaks English and can easily take your orders with minimum communication barriers. Singapore's hawker food are the best 👍
You are so kind! We had known before that Singaporeans are very friendly but this time we were even more surprised how nice and welcoming they were! It was amazing being able to speak literally with everyone - it opens up your perspectives and you can listen to great stories 🙌 Thank you so much once again! ❤️
@@geniegal78 Yes but I like the Malaysian Indian Muslim rojak better. Less colouring and more taste. But I prefer the Chinese rojak in Singapore. Much tastier than even our Penang one. But this is just stating my preference. No offence to anyone meant.
Hi guys, welcome back to our Little Red Dot. Interesting you mentioned about multiculturism at the beginning and then ended the video with Rojak. Indeed, our SG society is like an Indian Rojak where every individual ingredient retains its flavour and uniqueness and yet when combined together creates a unique well blended flavour. I believe our multi cultural, multi lingua, multi racial, multi religious society is the most important factor that underpins Singapore's success and we all value it very much. It is and will always be a Work In Progress.
We are truly impressed how all different cultures harmoniously blend and there’s also peace. As tourists not even once we did feel insecure or not welcomed! It’s a beautiful WIP Masterpiece 🙏
U shud go to Geylang Serai Market second floor. Many delicious food n drinks. And also try Hajjah Maimunah Restaurant which serves tons of dishes.Located at Joo chiat road.
😂😂 It's so funny actually you watched both the videos because when we first flew to SG, we had no clue how to eat the eggs at all lol. And then our love for Kaya Toasts grew to such a level that looking at that first video we felt absolutely embarrassed.... So when we returned at the end of our first Asia Series to Singapore we had to be shown how to eat this dish properly 😍
15:13 The old floating platform at Marina Bay (once the largest in the world) is being dismantled/demolished to make way for a new square/grandstand. Targeted to complete in 2027.
Guys, kaya is very sweet. Its make from coconut. If u dont like sweet stuff, order peanut butter toast. Coffee itself comes with sweet condenser milk. If u dont love sweet, order coffee less sweet
From time to time we love having the sweet Kaya Toast 😋 I like my coffee to be bitter, that's why only went for the Kopi-C-Kosong (with evaporated ilk, no sugar/condensed milk) 👍 [Karolina] Jay has a sweet tooth so for him a sweet drink would be fine but with combination of the jam he had a morning SUGAR rush 😂
Usually normal coffee shop would serve you raw egg in hot water which let you gauge how long you want to cook your egg. For most Singaporean, if one egg 1/2 raw and 1/2 cooked, they will say meh, try next egg. But if one egg is fully cooked (harden), they will be sad.
Oh, really??? We've never experienced being served soft-boiled eggs like this! Do you know any other great place with Kaya Toasts? I'm sure we will be back in Singapore soon and it would be nice to experience 😋
Which is more effective. Fork and spoon when on a plate, when bowl is used , chopsticks and Chinese soup spoon will be easier to bring food to the mouth😅
Ah Tai is open by the former head chef from Tian Tian, it is better than Tian Tian in recent years hands down. Also most Chinese Rojak contains shrimp paste and is definitely not vegetarian for most places.
Welcome back to SG :) Don't put extra emphasis on the "T" in the teh C or "K" to the Kopi and more like "beng" not pink. It isn't an English word anyways, we are just trying to spell out in English of dialects translated to words. Try listening to her tone when she said "teh c"😁 C means evaporated milk. If you didnt ask for unsweetened, it will be with sugar. There are many other great chicken rice options with shorter queue and cheaper than Tian Tian. Rojak isn't exactly vegetarian as the sauce has fermented prawn paste. Shout out to both local guys and the fruit stall owner at Maxwell for the hospitality :D
Thanks! Even if we learned how to order the drinks it was still difficult to get them right 😅 We loved them though! It's all about knowing which stalls will provide you with the best/most authentic foods and which people you would want to support too! We will definitely back to the fruit stall owner 😍
Welcome back to Singapore. Hope you have a wonderful stay here. Singapore is a multi racial country where we live peacefully and in harmony. Take this opportunity to mingle with the locals and see the diversity of the city.
And that's why we love Singapore! That's very impressive to see different districts in terms of the culture which perfectly coexist without any discrimination or inequality 😇
To all non-SG citizens. There are plenty of cameras around however no body has been caught littering via cctv 😂 . The streets are clean as a result of decades of education and enforcements by NEA (National Environment Agency) officers in civilian outfits.
in the old days, my mom would also add deep fried scallions with a smite of scallion oil, to the eggs ... these days, harder to find deep dried scallions/oil ... too much work to make ...
The CCTVs have more of a deterrent purpose, are more for people who committed a crime and police need to look into footages for clarity and for evidence. On an everyday basis when nothing happens, the authorities are not so free as to be constantly monitoring the public. How I know? Ghehehe, because I've done some really naughty things in front of those at night when few people are around and I've not been called up for questioning. 🤭🤣 Going to 7-11 for bottled drinks and other stuff is the last place I'd go. Of all the supermarts and convenience stores in Singapore, it's the most expensive. Our go-to place more likely to be NTUC Fairprice, Cheers, Giant etc.
Haha it’s interesting but in the same time a bit scary 😂 Yeah, the drinks are not the cheapest in the CVCs but in the city centre there’s lack of bóg supermarkets…
Majority of the workers you find in large scale businesses like the airports or public bus companies actually comprise of foreign workers, such as from Malaysia, Philippines and China because just the local talent alone isn’t enough to fulfil the manpower it requires
Singapore works very hard to keep the racial harmony. We have quite a number of policies to ensure that the different races are constantly bonding with each other. For example, we need to keep the ratio of the occupants in every single block of our flats relative to our race population ratio. For example, each floor of a HDB block will need to include 1 Indian family, 2 Malay families and maybe 4 Chinese families
What do you think of Singapore?! Are you as amazed as we are??? 👀

Glad you enjoyed it! Our pleasure ❤️ It feels actually very good when our efforts are being appreciated and you like watching the videos! Gives us all more confidence and a huge dose of motivation for future videos 😍
As a Singaporean, that aunty cashier is your everyday typical bossy aunty haha.
We were quite a bit surprised with her attitude but at the end she wasn’t rude or anything to us haha - just straight to the point 😬👍
@@JayandKarolinayou need these kind of people to counter even worser customers
Hey Jayesh, welcome back to Singapore! This channel has blown up since I first came across it almost a year ago. How time flies! Glad that you're back and hopefully you're enjoying it as much as I enjoy watching your videos on this channel and gig hustle.
This is so nice to hear 😍 We really appreciate that! More videos to come on both the channels 🙌
Very nice interaction with the locals 😊
We loved that evening 😍
I visited Singapore last November for 4 days and I miss it soooooooooooooo much!
We felt the same way after the first visit 😂 That’s why we needed to come back! ❤️
Welcome back to Singapore! Hope you are enjoy here again and explore more :)
Thank you! Will really did ❤️ More videos to come!!!
Welcome back!❤❤❤🤗
Well said, me too after travelling almost round the world , the best place is still home Singapore
We can’t wait to be back 🤫😍
Already in love with Singapore for the hospitality ❤ I will be coming soon SINGAPORE 🇸🇬
The Singaporean hospitality is honestly another level! Everyone is so welcoming, friendly and happy for you visiting their country 😍 We’re missing SG so much but will be back definitely soon!
Welcome back!
So nice to see you guys again❤
Thank you!! It felt awesome 😊
Wow u have amazing taste bud, u can taste the shrimp paste in rojak. Amazing 43:58
I will always detect a „fishy” taste 😬
We were extremely lucky to share a meal with Gerard and Russell, with whom it was difficult to end a conversation 👍
Recycling in Europe is questionable too since we cannot really see what's happening to people not doing the practices properly or how even big companies collecting money are then sorting the rubbish out 😅 It would be definitely better if it was more transparent!
welcome back to SG!! saw your first video on Singapore and loved how you compiled all that into the few lovely videos~ hope enjoy your trip here once again!!!!🥰
Thank you so much 😍 It really makes our day when we know that people follow us along the way!
100plus is Singapore. Welcome back!
Thanks for this vlog guys! Your videos are getting better and better, cannot wait for more content to come! Besides, I ❤ Singapore! On my bucket list 📌 🗺️
Thanks so much Pamela 😍 We’re sure you’d love Singapore too!!!
Another Amazing Episode👍👍👍🎉🎉🎉
We are just reciprocating friendliness with friendliness. You guys are so polite and gracious ❤
Your videos made me realised that even the older generations speaks English and can easily take your orders with minimum communication barriers.
Singapore's hawker food are the best 👍
You are so kind! We had known before that Singaporeans are very friendly but this time we were even more surprised how nice and welcoming they were!
It was amazing being able to speak literally with everyone - it opens up your perspectives and you can listen to great stories 🙌
Thank you so much once again! ❤️
Yay, welcome back!!
The three sauces must be mixed together for that magical chicken dip❤🎉😊
Oh yeaaaah 😋😍
Wow you guys got the drinks algorithm on point!
🥹
Finally! 😂 Welcome back 🇸🇬
🥳🥳🥳
U shud go to Marine Cove at East Coast Park. Its near the sea and serves bbq, satay and drinks.A must place to visit.
Lagoon Food Centre.
Great to see Russel again after so many years! Never imagined to be on this channel though! ☺
😄 It's so nice to hear that you recognised Russel! We had such a great evening chatting with them both!!!
I'm Malaysian, but have to agree that the Singapore Chinese rojak is really tasty. In Malaysia the Indian Muslim rojak is the tasty one.
We do have the Indian Muslim rojak in SG 😊
@@geniegal78 Yes but I like the Malaysian Indian Muslim rojak better. Less colouring and more taste. But I prefer the Chinese rojak in Singapore. Much tastier than even our Penang one. But this is just stating my preference. No offence to anyone meant.
@@alifhashim3752 no worries... Everyone has their own food preferences ☺️
@@geniegal78 Yes true. Thanks
Kaya toast is the bomb. Sweet, salty, creamy, savory, crispy, toasted, char, warm (eggs), cold (slab of butter), umami. It’s mad how good it is. 😂
Awwww, PERFECTION ❤️ When in Singapore, we cannot resist having it! But definitely it's such a sweet treat!!!
Hi Jay, thanks so much for the video you made 😄
Hi Karolina you are beautiful 😘
We do have racial friction, it’s impossible to totally eradicate it. But we try our best to mitigate it, still a long way to go.
You’re really the best in it! The harmonious blend of different cultures is super impressive 🙏🙏🙏
We’ve heard about this place to be the best for Malay food 😋🇲🇾
@@JayandKarolina Yes..u shud visit and try tons of delicious food.Dont forget the chendol as dessert.
Is good to see that you guys are enjoying the soft-boiled egg properly. I had watched your first video on Singapore, it is all wrong. haha
😂😂 It's so funny actually you watched both the videos because when we first flew to SG, we had no clue how to eat the eggs at all lol. And then our love for Kaya Toasts grew to such a level that looking at that first video we felt absolutely embarrassed.... So when we returned at the end of our first Asia Series to Singapore we had to be shown how to eat this dish properly 😍
welcome back to singapore!! hope you enjoyed your stay here :)
Yes, A LOT 😍 Thank you!
15:13 The old floating platform at Marina Bay (once the largest in the world) is being dismantled/demolished to make way for a new square/grandstand. Targeted to complete in 2027.
Oh, wow! That's so interesting! Thanks for sharing 🙌
It is easy to love Singapore! Next to my home country, it's my favourite place ❤
I totally agree! ❤️
Welcome back, lovely couple.
😍😍😍
Gerard and russel are so sweet!!!
So true! We miss them guys! Had such a great chat that day and learned a lot about how Singaporeans live and perceive the country 🤩
I used to live in Thailand but can't take the heat now that i'm older but still not a fan of Englands winter, thanks guys cheers
I totally understand! We came back to England after 7+ months of being in SEA and were greeted with rain/snow and heavy wind 😂
Which is more effective. Fork and spoon when on a plate, when bowl is used , chopsticks and Chinese soup spoon will be easier to bring food to the mouth😅
Yes, you are right 😅
Ah Tai is open by the former head chef from Tian Tian, it is better than Tian Tian in recent years hands down.
Also most Chinese Rojak contains shrimp paste and is definitely not vegetarian for most places.
If you do go back to yakun again, do get the steamed kaya bread! It's my favourite whenever i go there!
Sounds super tasty! We will make sure to have it next time 😍
Yes yes - steamed bread with kaya is v nice…
We will definitely back to the fruit stall owner 😍
you can also say. Teh C with ice. Or Kopi C ice no sugar. Another example, Kopi, Ice- less sweet/sugar please. Hope it helps @@JayandKarolina
Welcome ❤back
Welcome back to Singapore.
Great to know haha but most importantly the cameras are providing safety for everyone 🙌
Congratulations on hitting 50k Subscribers 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much 😄
You are so fortunate to meet such generous Singaporean …
We believe that good energy always comes back 🥰🙏 Had such a great evening with Gerard and Russell!
The cashier auntie is super good. I thought she will miss your peng as u said it so soft but she did not. 👍👍👍
🤗 Yes she exactly knew what we wanted.
Welcome to Singapore 🇸🇬 U guys are enjoying food here in singapore. 😋🍲🍛🍜🍮☕🙏Blessing n take care 😘👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Welcome back first sub to ur channel when u visited Singapore back than off topic did u watch Taylor swift concert haha
Happy to have you here again 🥳 Haha, apparently Tailor Swift was around the time we actually came to SG back!
@@JayandKarolina yah haha the swifties all around national stadium such an experience
in the old days, my mom would also add deep fried scallions with a smite of scallion oil, to the eggs ...
these days, harder to find deep dried scallions/oil ...
too much work to make ...
We became way more comfortable 😝
Are there stray cats in SG? I have ailurophobia(fear of cats) that's why I panic whenever there are cats specially in enclosed places.
There wasn’t pretty much any cats or dogs on the streets - compared to other SE Asian countries it was pretty safe I would say!
@@JayandKarolina good to know! I'm relieved, haha! Thank you so much for your reply.
@JayandKarolina The reason I asked is because we are taking a trip to Singapore this coming October. 🇸🇬✈️
i guessed you'd wanted masala chai 25:00
I actually didn’t mind both 😉🙏 Love Teh Tarik too!
There's no need to dip the kaya toast into the egg. You can dip plain toast into the egg, or slurp down the egg itself.
Please please for the love of everything holy go to chomp chomp food center. It’s not only amazing but it’s extremely local.
We love all the local things so thank you very much for the recommendation 🙌 What dishes/stalls should we be looking for there? Any tips? Thanks!
I seen many tourists didn't eat the half boiled egg. ordered n ate only the kaya toast n left the eggs.
😳 That's weird haha
Hi. I just subscribed to your channel.☺
Yay! Thank you! Welcome :)
Hey Jay and Karolina! You're welcome! I had a great time watching your food adventure in Singapore.
Awesome video 👍😁
Great video, what camera did you use on this video, and were you using a gimbal or external mic?
GoPro 11 with its original gimble + no external mike 🥳
The CCTVs have more of a deterrent purpose, are more for people who committed a crime and police need to look into footages for clarity and for evidence. On an everyday basis when nothing happens, the authorities are not so free as to be constantly monitoring the public. How I know? Ghehehe, because I've done some really naughty things in front of those at night when few people are around and I've not been called up for questioning. 🤭🤣
Going to 7-11 for bottled drinks and other stuff is the last place I'd go. Of all the supermarts and convenience stores in Singapore, it's the most expensive. Our go-to place more likely to be NTUC Fairprice, Cheers, Giant etc.
Haha it’s interesting but in the same time a bit scary 😂
Yeah, the drinks are not the cheapest in the CVCs but in the city centre there’s lack of bóg supermarkets…
Majority of the workers you find in large scale businesses like the airports or public bus companies actually comprise of foreign workers, such as from Malaysia, Philippines and China because just the local talent alone isn’t enough to fulfil the manpower it requires
True that!
The last couple very cute
41:12 The friendliness of the people in Singapore? Maybe those you met weren't Singaporean.
Gerard and Russell are 100% Singaporeans 😇😇
Singapore is tourists paradise
It is but as a tourist it's also great to see how the locals live and how this island country/city-state is developing :)
@@JayandKarolina Our lives are stressful and boring
Have you tried the local bread ice cream?
Yes I did 😍 Even captured it in one od the upcoming videos!
It's is very shiok. Haha . That's Singlish for delicious
This is so interesting! It’s really well thought out also from a formal perspective to maintain the harmony… We had no idea and find it so beautiful 🙏
welcome back, Jay! May i know what selfie stick u are using, very smooth and handy - u use it so efficiently! :)
Thanks! We're loving SG 😍 I use the GoPro 11 and its original handle 👍
You can go to national stadium at late afternoon to feel Taylor swift effect if you are still around from thurs to sat this week. lol
Have u all visited heaven? aka old airport hawker center.
We’ve been to a couple of Hawker Centres but the most authentic one was probably the Old Airport Road 😮💨😋
@@JayandKarolina Great, this place is the real deal. I am lost for choice every time I am there.
