*A FEW DISCLAIMERS AND CORRECTIONS, PLEASE READ* *CORRECTIONS/NOTES* 9:12 - (NOTE) I was mostly just using the art style for CV1/2 as an example for the main point I was trying to make, but in hindsight it was a pretty bad and nit-picky one; sorry about that. While i still stand by how CV2 wouldn't really fit the college vibe of RR, i dont really think it needs to be like that. The style that CV2 has at the moment is perfectly fine, if not more efficient and easy to look at than CV1 31:18 - (NOTE) I feel like some better examples here would've been stuff like how Inventions can only be priced in increments of 250 Tokens (it used to only be 50 before) and as of 12/28/24, Rec Room started running an A/B test that locked a lot of the free items older players would get by default for newer players. 40:34 - (MINOR CORRECTION) While it's true that Gribbly doesn't fully create the music for Rec Room anymore, he has somebody else help him on it and not an entire music team (according to AMA #35 at 25:36). I still stand by what I said in the video for MLM and MITM, but the soundtrack for Rec Room's newest RRO, ^RunTheBlock, is way better than both of the previous two RROs (but I still prefer the older music RR put out. idk if it's just nostalgia, but it seemed to have so much more passion and soul put into it than what we see today) 50:12 - (MINOR-ISH CORRECTION) The creator of those "Gamer Dorm" inventions already made a version to where you can recolor the different point lights. However, I still think it's dumb to have dozens of the same invention flooding the Dorm Skins/Invention store. 58:16 - (MINOR CORRECTION) The moderation in Rec Room is actually quite a bit better than most other platforms like VRChat and Roblox, but it still obviously needs a lot of work to be perfect in my opinion. 1:02:39 - (MAJOR CORRECTION) That "former staff-member" still works at Rec Room; they just left Rec Room's official Discord server. For further context, they actually responded in the replies to this comment, saying, "Sexual shirts and shirts depicting other sex acts or nudity are not allowed, and should not be allowed. That was never my argument. You can see in the screenshots I say "If it is not revealing any private parts, then it is okay." Bathing suit custom shirts are not sexual in nature, and that is what I was referring to - someone had linked a specific shirt that I was commenting on. But, of course, you left that part out, and also the later resolution where I said this does not apply to all shirts. It is disingenuous to take that and apply it to all custom shirts. In fact, I was one of the devs responsible for filtering out truly offending shirts like the ones you mentioned prior." As I said in the video, please don't send any hate this person or anybody mentioned just for having an opinion that you might disagree with. 1:07:00 - (MAJOR CORRECTION) HairyManLegs was just filming advertisement b-roll in the clip I showed. He was using his own personal channel to stream it. (Thanks to @DudeRecRoom, @NekoCoreNetwork, @Sleepyhead080808, and @StarCenturion for the corrections!) *DISCLAIMERS* First off, please don't send any hate towards any RR staff or really anybody mentioned in the video. They're simply just doing their job and really don't deserve any hate or disrespect. Harassing them will only make things worse and will do more harm than good. This video's directed towards RR as a company, not the individual staff. Also, this video was written in July-August of 2024, so there's a chance that some info shown will be outdated or even incorrect. If that's the case, please correct me in the replies/comments. This video is meant to document everything RR has done wrong with the game in the past few years. However, a lot of this video is also opinion-based with me giving my personal thoughts and concerns on what I'm talking about (i do get a bit nitpicky at times as well), so there *will* be times where you’ll probably disagree with me. And yes, I'm aware that the background music in the video is pretty loud compared to my voice (thanks for the feedback though). Wasn't sure if it was just my headphones or not so I admittedly kinda just hoped for the best that it really was. Your best bet will probably be using the auto-generated subtitles. Lesson learned lol :,)
If you have this many problems why not re-upload the video? Also unrelated the music and sounds are absolutely blaring I can’t hear you, it’s like listening to music with some dude saying his opinions in the far corner of the room.
@Bluegooose62 i... may or may not have already deleted the DaVinci Resolve project in an effort to clear up my storage drive, so reuploading isn't an option 🫠 I also *really* wanted this video to be released on my 5th year anniversary playing RR (also I don't think a few small-ish corrections is really that much for an hour-thirty video) And yea I'm aware the music is really loud. I wasn't sure if it was just my headphones or not so I admittedly kinda just hoped for the best that it was. I guess your best bet would just be using the auto-geberated subtitles ._. Lesson(s) learned I guess lol
“How rec room has entirely lost their original vision for the game.” “How terrible some parts of their monetization are.” “How awful the UGC side has become.” Those points are eerily similar to Roblox.
Minecraft has been slowly turning this way too with it's marketplace content and creators side- only caring about how it can net them as much money as possible
Finally, someone's bringing this up. The most painful part about my favorite game being absolutely ruined by greed was the fact that no one talked about it enough, or their favorite rec-tubers would protect them, saying the generic "It's a business". It was sad
Hey, I’m Sleepii, formerly known as Astro. I was a stunt runner player who started playing around the same time as you, and got very very attached to the game. Stunt Runner is a good example of how the game has degraded. When I started playing it, the community had already started to dissolve, and the leaderboards were being exploited more and more. Star Centurion (the goat) had been banning cheaters and removing their times every day, but then it had reduced to once per week when me or one of the other guys told him who needed to be taken down. After a while, the leaderboards got erased, and all of the old timed were gone. Everyone kinda gave up at that point, because we had nothing to work towards beating. The mods stopped removing times after that, and the players stopped caring. Then people stopped playing entirely. Still, with all of this happening, Rec Room execs will still monetize RR+ and community-made games, giving creators more tools to make new worlds, all while ignoring the state of their base game that people care about. They want free labor and new levels, not happy players.
Astro? I use to look up to you and a lot of other people’s speedruns like dr poverty, chocolate, youngfell. Y’all were the reason I went out of my way to learn so much stuff about the game and eventually get c1 and c2 wr! Thanks for being a part of the community while it lasted, I had a lot of fun with you guys!
I new someone named ast4o or something like that there was 4 in the name if that is they also changed there name she was pretty my best friend in recroom but she's not really on any more
Then how come people have been saying Rec Room been making good updates recently like for example Rec Room decided to re-add double shot back to the game and crescendo now being on the quest… Or is that just me? Tbh I get what you guys are saying really.
The intro and outro sequence was immaculate. Don't agree with every point (and some claims are wrong, as we talked about on Discord), but this is one of the better Rec Room critique videos out there. I wonder where it all went wrong...
I stand behind it was the introduction of screen mode that was the begging of the end. They realized there was a broader more capital rich environment for them to take advantage of.
That last animation hit me like a goddamn semi truck, just remembering all the fun times, the cool events, the weekly, running to my vr as soon as I got home from school just to play, my friends that I haven't seen in a long time. It has a different kind of nostalgia than say og Minecraft or fortnite, this is like missing something that was deliberately ripped from your hands and crumpled into a ball, you can un crumple it and try your best to make it like how it used to be but it just can never be the same. I greatly cherish this game and it will continue to hold a special place in my heart for years to come.
This is genuinely an INCREDIBLE analysis. I hope that the devs see this and it helps them fix Rec Room’s issues. You did an incredible job explaining what is going on. To someone who hasn’t been in the know for a while, I haven’t seen how rampant some of these issues are.
this video is genuinely making me feel emotional, this is actually just a work of an art explaining rec room's current situation. people may think it's stupid to care so much, but what they fail to understand is just how much this game has done for it's players. i genuinely don't cry over videos or anything like that, but that ending made me shed a tear. (i can agree that's stupid) but we can't save rec room, only rec room themselves can do that.
Yeah I tried it out when it was being tested, and it was so laggy (Standalone Q2), and I had so much trouble going back to Old UI because it was just lagging the game so hard lmaooo
The other day I was in a discord call when someone randomly screened the ending of this video. Everyone in the call was shocked at how good the animation was. I finally got around to watch the whole thing and I’m happy I did. This is hands down the greatest rec room video I have ever seen.
that "this room isnt diverse enough" is so insane that i cant think that its serious, its absurd to the point of being funny and i REALLY hope that was what he was going for
Ok a bit of a correction, as stated in the pinned comment: That clip was heavily taken out of context. Hairy was filming advertisement b-roll on stream in that and worded it poorly
@@theluchenator nooo! i just clicked on a video by accident while replying to you and lost my finished comment. yeah i see the correction now, so its more of a situation where it came out worse than what they had in their head rather than an intended to be joke thing? also the animation was insane! i finally got to it (ive been pausing a lot cause im playing a game at the same time) and had to rewind back to the beginning once i realized what was happening so i could focus on it.
As the main guy dealing with another hairymanlegs situation, id like to bring up a point. Hairymanlegs was media trained, and he has done this multiple times. Some people say, he can't express himself well, but why would he be the main guy behind advertisements. Just due to the fact this was for a ad, shouldn't excuse the fact he said it in front of kids, and horrible wording, also again, he has done this multiple times. Why wouldn't he just pick different people immediately if he had a quota to reach? Or even just be authentic. Anyways that's enough of my yapping, just wanted to say my spew. @@cinnamoncat8950
Solid take on things bud. Also, just gotta compliment video overall! The story telling, editing, animations, it was all really well done! I was really captivated with the final animation! Well done!
@cats2927 tbf a lot of what I talk about in the video is opinion-based, meant to highlight my specific thoughts on the game as of recent, so i can see some people overall disagreeing with me (and thanks SoulFox if you're reading this!)
that ending was an emotional and utterly transcendent experience and you are an incredible artist. Few things hurt more than decaying nostalgia, and you portrayed that elegantly. I knew little to nothing about rec room before this and yet I'm now left being so thankful that you've made this video.
I was really late to Rec Room sadly, never got to see what it was before it was just another game like VRchat or Roblox. I started in 2021 but never really was active until early 2022. I loved the game for its art style the social aspect and everything else. I've met some good friends on there that I still talk to today! But It couldn't last. As of early 2024 I have left Rec Room for good to focus on the community/game that I care for. Rec Room was something on the side cause the Community I am in, 2022 was considered a "dark age" of sorts. I won't get into all of that, but this video is way better then most videos about why Rec Room fell off so hard as it comes from someone who understood what Rec Room was. Side note that intro & outro sick af, keep it up man!
I remember playing rec room back in 2022 and i loved it so much better bcuz they didnt have full body avatars n ugc Now i dont rlly like the full body avatars n i dont even wear them nor is the ugc because rr strayed away from something that was so good 😓
Played this to death in 2017/2018. Lots of long nights and fond memories just hanging out and chatting in a totally quiet, respectful Rec Center. You really nailed my feelings for how RR turned out in the long run.
I know its already been said, but I want to say it myself---that ending was amazing. I never played Rec Room, but I know that feeling when something that is special to you changes into a unrecognizable thing. Its sad when it happens, and most of the time, you can't just move onto something new. Because there was nothing like that old game you "knew." But, at the same time, maybe that just makes those memories more special---and that doesn't mean that all that time you spent meant nothing, you know? It was part of why you are the way you are, or why you know who you know today. To me, its not as sad if I view it that way. Great video, stands leagues above the rest in so many different ways.
I joined Rec Room for the first time in YEARS about a week ago and it changed so much. I remember when the Rec Center was a place to hangout and socialized with other people. Now it feels like a museum of advertisements every single time I enter it. I miss the old Rec Room
The animation at the end is such a masterpiece... I used to do 2D animation, it was my life for about a year before I gave up because I was never able to finish a project before abandoning it, thinking I could do better. I've gone through several Rec Room related animations which are still yet to be released, and this actually gave me motivation to start those works again. These animation made me want to cry, perfect song choice, effects, style, I love it all.
Words cannot describe how much this video resonates with me, everything from start to finish just hits so hard with nostalgia for old Rec Room. As much as I hope this game can go back to its roots, I think it might be too far gone.
this is the best video I've seen covering this topic from someone who's been playing since their locker room days, i relate to a lot of the points you make. you've perfectly capsulated how i and (assumingly) many others feel about rec room now. and that ending sequence is very touching, its hard to put into words what i felt watching it for the first time but it was very relatable. never thought id tear up to a rec room animation, but i did. i truly hope that this video gets the attention it deserves thank you for making this video.
DUDE THAT ENDING?? I just sat there in awe, that was MASTERFUL. This video summed up pretty much everything pretty well, didn't expect myself to sit here and watch it all the way through until 5 in the morning. This game was so special to me, and some of that magic it had was just unmatched. Sometimes I wish we could just go back for a bit...
The best Rec Room experiences I have had was chilling with an IRL friend in the dorm room, talking about life and building things. It was like VR Gmod with a built-in model maker and it was perfection. Making your own fun is significantly better than relying on the fun made by others.
Nobody will probably see this but im a builder on recroom and been for a while. I have barely finished or posted anything in the 2 years I've been building and I'm currently working on a few big projects with my friends with tons of effort and love into them. I actually had one of my rooms stolen because of how gullible i was (btw its called pvp greenfield) which makes me a bit disappointed to this day. I've spent so much time making fictional universes and lore for my games because i actually have the passion to build games. I just wanted to share this because this video gave me a somewhat new view on recroom and honestly the state it is in makes me lose motivation to finish and post any of my passion projects. I know nobody will see this but i just wanted to say how important this game has been to me and honestly I don't see myself leaving anytime soon... Have a nice day or night!!
I headcanon that S is just an abbreviation for "Storefont" because every Lore event nowadays was just a map with a Storefont plastered in the middle of the map, filled to the brim with 10k+ token items, and 50k+ token sets.
The absolute WORST part of it all, is that even if rec room realized what they were doing is wrong it’s already to late for them to hit the undo button. They’d have to get rid of years of UGC content and features. It’s only downhill from here guys.. 😔
The ending was absolutely gut wrenching, I genuinely shed a few tears This video says a lot about how people are feeling about rec room right now. As someone who started only last year, I had no idea about the college campus theme or that weeklys/monthlys even existed. I can really sympathize with how grateful, nostalgic, and upset you are since I’ve had the same experiences with other games, I was always forced to move on because of communities dying out. This video was really well thought through, I like how you got your point across in a genuine and non-hostile manner!! I appreciate that despite the criticism, you also highlighted rec room’s improvements or when they addressed issues! I think you did a great job of making it clear what rec room was doing and in contrast, what users truly want! Again, the ending was perfect for the video’s buildup and it hit home on a personal level. I appreciate the incredible effort ❤
This video kind of explained exactly how I've been feeling the past few months, Its sad that Rec Room has been falling apart, but at the end of the day we cant do anything to stop it. This video was amazing and the ending was just perfect and really well done. Thanks for such an amazing video 😭😭 Hopefully one day Rec Room will get their act together.
the real rec room was the friend we made along the way but seriously this video was amazing, and all my friends did the watched this together and this video was perfect, and words can't describe how great this was, and I also joined around the same time this was just insanely good, and that ending part made some of us low-key cry. I actually think you have so much talent and this video deserves more attention. and I feel like you finally put a voice to so many opinions that many in the community have but don't have the platform to speak out about it
This game saved my life. It was my escape when my dad passed from a stroke. The friends I made along my journey, the rooms I created, and everything me and my friends have done, it will forever stick with me. I am still a small developer who makes light shows but this video just hit me with so much I never even noticed. I was kinda tearing up and the last 2 minutes especially with that running scene xD Well done, you’ve done something I could’ve never imagined. You are very talented and an amazing person. Keep moving forward man.
This is a really good video (Also serious props for that end sequence it’s beautiful 1:32:32 was especially relatable to me). Honestly I’d recommend taking a break if you’re up for it. I did it 2 years ago and I’ve never felt happier.
No words of mine could possible describe how much I thoroughly enjoyed and related to this video. I literally created an account just to say this: I have never agreed and loved any form of media like this one. I loved the animation, the points you made, and how much joy this video gave me due to me knowing there is a chance that a RR dev may see and understand this video. I wish you success with all of your goals and please, Rec Room... come back. The real Rec Room.
Hey just wanted to say that I was a real big Rec Room Enthusiast and I was top 15 for RR ^Soccer, only to find out how unmoderated the game was that people simply cheated in private lobbies just to climb the ranks in Top 10. Truly a waste of my 5 years in playing rec room. I thank people like you speaking about how terrible the game is and how good it used to be so I applaud you.
I honestly wasn't expecting to care about this much since I only really played it during 2020. Seeing the video brought back some good memories doing things like trying to complete all of the quests and sucking at paintball. The animation was also top-notch for what I expected to be a padded out video essay. Great job on the video all around. I hope one day this channel starts getting traction since this amount of effort is baffling for the amount of views this has.
I loved that ending sequence. I got goosebumps from the way it made me feel. It's the same rush of emotions as reaching the rising climax of a movie. This video is phenomenal.
I have been playing since 2019. I actually think it’s the second game I ever got on VR, when I got a quest 1 on my birthday. I remembered the amount of love put into this game, and I remember hopping on after school everyday. When covid hit, I think this genuinely was the only thing that brought me hope, considering it was my only chance at social interaction, and I didn’t have a lot of irl friends at the time. I always remember me and my friends were trying to make a story-based game where you were an assassin in a futuristic world, and we went through a bunch of rewrites, redesigns and what not. Building the world was probably the most fun I’ve had with my friends. Then I noticed in like 2022-2023 after they removed weeklies that their prices started going up for a bunch of items that were just recolors. I was trying to deny it, because it seemed like it was fine, but it was slowly wearing down on me, noticing that progress was slowing down more and more exponentially every year. I stopped playing early 2024, feeling very jaded by the blatant greed and exploitation of the fanbase for their money, and I haven’t played since. The biggest regret I have is that me and my friends never saw the completion of our game after years of slow-crawling world-building before all of us lost our love in it.
Holy cow! That ending sequence. Many great points were brought up, about the weekly challenges, moderation, advertisements, and community greed. However, I'd disagree with things like the UI and Rec Room greed. In my opinion, the newer UI is much better: replaying rooms, joining friends, and checking out shop items without needing to press on their respective menus. The Greed the community says about Rec Room is not very justified, even with the monetization systems a lot of the profits are going back into the community. Still an amazing, well written, and documented video commentary
Thank you for making this video. I used to play rec room every single day from 2016-2021. I graduated that year, and had realized all the friendships I had made on this platform had moved on and weren't around anymore. Rec room was a place where I (shamefully, I know) made my first girlfriend, went outta my way to make friends and improve others lives, and even improve myself. But, once everyone was gone, I had plenty of time to analyze how rec room has changed in the time since it's release. So much less soul, fun, and care are being put into the game at this point. Rec centers are no longer places to socialize, kids are everywhere and beg at every turn to get that "lore item" that they just need to have. Toxicity at every corner, despite the easy ability to block. Custom rooms used to be art pieces, and now it feels like most are filled with ways to get the player to buy items and give the the creator a follow, like, and tokens. When the custom items were first placed in the invention shop, I created a weekly item pod with the new glowing textures. I had never used the maker pen before, but it got to the number 1 spot on the item shop and showered me with thousands of tokens and I'll never forget that feeling. Every now and then, I'll meet a long time rr player and I'll show them the invention I made back then to find out they were one of them. Now, the shops are filled with slop. That all feels the same, with color variations. None of them being free either. It just really sucks to see where the game has gone at this point, and I really want to see it improve and thrive. To anyone that reads this comment, and was there during the early years of rec room and are feeling the same way... you are not alone. Perhaps someday, we can all get back on and relive some good times, till then. ---> @The_Gamebuster 2016 - 2022
Im kind of relieved to realise that im not alone. All the friends i made along my (rather clumsy) adventure had moved on, i remember meeting a nice girl in a furry hangout room and when she said that she will come back tomorrow, she never came. I am kind of heartbroken and she was special to me because she was understanding and really fun. Now, it isnt really the worst since i got boyfriends, but i will never forget those fun times i had with her and everyone.
Whats definitely wrong with Rec Room is that the maps that are made- the low quality and cash grabs are the most popular whilst the most effort spent maps are in the ground 😢
the exit sequence is the only thing thats made me cry in a very long time, ive laughed, loved and lived in rec room, it helped me figure out who i am. i often think of those lucky times fondly and thank you alot for reminding me, even in a video like this that there is still joy out there. i feel, partially reasonable for some of the slop thats on rec room now, while it still wouldve happened there where some decisions me and others made that couldve distracted some of those big players in on that side of RR. (milsim drama)
Woah!!!! What an ending. I love the choice of using the "comfort mode" backdrop for the void. Truly awesome video, I was glued to the screen the whole time. Instant subscribe. Side note, I really liked your song choice for the ending, definitely gonna look more into that artist. Side side note, the little tidbit in the description about Emeraldegg made me chuckle. I don't know him personally, but I know people who do, and I know enough to know he never stops talking about that chain whip of his.
I never had the pleasure to experience Rec Room before 2020-2021. I got into Rec Room primarily because it released on Xbox. I never heard of the game before then, and I was already in a rut of not really knowing what to play. Jumping into the game back then was so monumental, even with me being an 18 year old at the time, it felt like a little piece of my childhood was being revisited, even though I never experienced such. It was so charming, energetic, and welcoming in general, I couldn’t get enough of it. Of course, over the years I stopped majorly playing due to university, work, and other things I found great passion in, but I have witnessed many of the things you’ve mentioned in this video. I always found a way to circumvent the messiness of the recommended games by interacting with the community via Discord and making usage of events to see what new games were releasing, but that shouldn’t excuse just how much slop there is on the platform. It’s weird feeling sad seeing something I never fully got to experience in full, like with weekly challenges and the like, but I do miss them. I miss just how inexpensive many things were, and how much more friendlier things were. Granted, I jumped into many spaces primarily with VR players, so perhaps my screen mode experience was better than most, but even then, I never felt like I was at a disadvantage. I remember creating things, despite me being on Xbox, being so rewarding and fulfilling. I made my own level system that was completely modifiable and publishing it because I thought others would like something like that. I remember the wild ideas I had for games, even though I barely had much experience. Nowadays I’m too tired to really do anything like that, and it seems like Rec Room has only gotten worse. I guess I’m also a little nostalgic for it as well. I honestly hope to all hell and back that people at the development team have watched the video, and are working towards some meaningful changes. Oh, and this is a given, but That animation? Top tier, feels kinda oddly what I think a Rec Room official animation would look like, if they ever wanted to stylize it a little.
Insanely well made video. Every last part about the script, filming and editing made this an absolutely amazing viewing experience. I have gone through the same cycle, joining on Rec room in 2017 when I got the original Oculus Rift. It really is a shame how the game has gone downhill and I too just really want to play the game I spent hundreds of hours playing. The animation portions at the beginning and the end were beautiful and I hope you continue to make more videos if you enjoy making then. Also, if you do continue to make videos, try to make more on positive topics if it is possible and always being negative will make the video making process horrible.
Thanks so much! :) and yea i do wanna make more light-hearted videos in the future. I've been wanting to make this video for so long already that it's honestly relieving having it finally uploaded
I stared playing Rec Room in 2017 with my brother who got me into it. I've seen its rise and fall, the good and the bad. Rec Room was a home to me. Its where I met many of my friends and it help reinforce ones I already had. It got me into making UA-cam videos on it. I wasn't very good but still. I cant describe all my feelings on this game. Many of them are just things that I can only feel and not describe. So I wont even try. I want nothing more then to be transported back to those times and relive everything I once did. All I can hope for is that one day the devs fix this game to what it once was in its golden age.
I joined Rec Room two days before you, on November 21st 2019 as a screen player, a bored guy looking for something to play on the PlayStation store, I basically lived the same, in my experience, I hated seeing how games like Rec Room and Fortnite suffered with this metaverse epidemic even Roblox had it, Facebook went crazy with it, turning Oculus into Meta, truly a bad time that the UGC implementation made worse, sadly there isn’t much that we can do, just hope developers notice the big problems that are happening right now, thanks for taking time producing this video, especially the 3D animated parts, those look super good
FINALLY SOMEONE BRINGS THIS UP i quit rec room a couple weeks back and i was so tired of the prices of literally everything. Every fun room was dead and people were only playing dumb brainrot games, they changed the ui so many times its unplayable, it was just too much
Heya, Im AtlasInHell but formerly WonderBoy/WonderSauce/Wonder. This game was my heart and soul when i joined the game. I poured my heart out into every aspect i possibly could. Building, friends, trading inventions, golden trophy speedrunning, sword fighting tournaments, rock climbing. I joined a few months before you did, and I quit early at the start of this year. I pop on every now and than but the game hasnt gotten better. I personally just wanted to add on (im not far into the video so this might be mentioned later) i think recroom studio is horrible. I think the whole concept of the makerpen being accessible to everyone was amazing and what truely made the charm for building. Your imagination was truely the limit and everything was possible with the right practice. Recroom studio makes practicing the makerpen useless. Recroom studio makes years of dedication worthless. Recroom studio is unfair.
I first played Rec Room in 2022 and haven't even played in VR before (for purely financial reasons, headsets are just too expensive atm), so I'm not entirely sure how qualified I am to speak on the state of Rec Room, but I would still like to mention a fairly obscure problem I (and most certainly many others) have experienced The "Screenmode lobby" problem has branched off into an entirely new one: some VR players have grown so sick of it that they resent all Screenmode players. I'm not even kidding when I say it's gotten to the point where I have actually legitimately been discriminated against for playing Screenmode (can't even believe that's a real sentence) There's a very real and very hostile stereotype that ALL Screenmode players are the same loud, unattended children flooding lobbies, and it seems to have been a thing ever since Rec Room started supporting more platforms. The fact that VR players have several advantages over Screenmode players in several competitive multiplayer PvPs/quests hasn't helped either. I've seen little to no talk about this stereotype, and it's honestly really sad I imagine once Rec Room started supporting more platforms, a LOT more people were introduced to the game because of the lower barrier-to-entry (I know I was; if it weren't for PC compatibility, I never would've been able to pick up the game). I feel like that's a good thing. Who knows how many awesome people you never would've met because they couldn't afford VR? Yes, it let in a LOT more loud children (we find them just as annoying as you do, believe me lol), but I don't think Screenmode as a whole is to blame for that, I will die on that hill and take the stereotype with me On a more positive note (I think we all need it): - The devs ARE listening, even if they're slow. As an example, double-shot was brought back very recently after it was accidentally patched, which I'm sure is phenomenal news for the community. You can still argue they only did it because of backlash, sure, but double-shot stands out to me in particular; it's a random and beloved quirk, not a threat to their income. There's less reason for them to go out of their way to fix it, and they did it anyway - I greatly prefer Rec Room over games like Roblox because it all takes place in it's own universe; basically the "college theming" that was brought up many times. Good proof that even in the state Rec Room is in today, newer players still notice and appreciate what makes Rec Room unique. Or I just have really low standards, who knows lol - Some of the most fun I have ever had in Rec Room has come from creating comedic situations and meeting people because of it. I am genuinely surprised how quickly people in Rec Room will go along with stupid bits; I do something stupid like sit in trash cans and demand food in a menacing voice, and within actual MINUTES there will be complete strangers playing along. It just doesn't get old. Even in Rec Room's current state, I'll always play it for how shockingly easy it is to meet people I roll with Wall of incoherent rambling text ends here
100% honest: I've never played Rec Room, I don't even have a vr headset, I just clicked on the video because I needed background noise while working on something else and youtube put this in my recommendations. but between the animation of the video and how passionate you were about the game, I felt compelled to watch, not just listen, and the ending of the video even made me tear up! its such a shame to see such a positive game and community just turn to rot and slop. seriously though, great video, great work dude.
Used to play this game everyday from 2018 to 2021 and i loved this game, i got to hangout with some of the team a long time ago like meriesa or gribbly, i didnt do to much the only things i did was be the first person to make the dolls in the game that used to be popular a while ago or got to be in the time travel 2019 contest the only contest i ever entered, im happy i got to be part of this game so long ago and still have fond memories about it, wish it didnt go from the devs making the game, to them giving people tools to make the game for them
I played rec room for hours a day basically everyday for 4+ years, I made some of my strongest friendships and best expierences on this game but it slowly got worse and worse and eventually I quit a couple of months ago. Its heartbreaking cause part of me loves this game and was obsessed with it, and wants to go back to it but the game I loved I cant ever go back to cause it no longer exists. Btw this is a really good video and the animation was incredible
bro ive been saying this for years. thank you so much for making this video. i used to love this game, i started back in late 2018 and i played almost daily for a while. Then late 2020 and beyond ive just havent been able to see it the same with all of the terrible optimization issues, borderline scummy business practices, awful updates, the loss of the games soul, questionable playerbase, over-reliance on ugc and lack of any original content. i deadass just now went almost a year without touching the game right around the time they patched double-shot, i just reinstalled the game yesterday and its hilariously the exact same as it was 2 years ago...same mess. The game is a downspiral right now in terms of quality. it seriously feels like the passion that was put into the game has diminished and remains as a husk of what once was. And on a pessimistic note; i genuinely dont think the game will get better, (at least not to how it used to be in the most objective way) these kinds of issues dont tend to go away when you let them ferment for years. i would love to be proven wrong...
This video made me realize something. I started out playing this game a month after I got my quest 2. I LOVED IT. I used to spend almost all my free time just playing in Rec Room. I learned everything about every RR original. I was the guy that could carry any team on any quest. I was the guy that could singlehandedly beat an army. I was the guy that could use any weapon, and use them well. I was the guy that knew the location every secret, weapon, and spawn location on everything. But then after playing the game for so long, eventually my controllers started to become less responsive to my inputs. Eventually the problem became so bad that I couldn't even move properly. So I had to stop playing things in VR in general. Even though it was extremely difficult to move sometimes, I refused to surrender my love for the game. Every so often I'd try to play the game despite my controllers. But every time I did I stayed for less and less. I thought it was because of the controller issues. This video made me realize that the reason I haven't returned to the game, even though I have working controllers again, is that I no longer liked the game. I thought the controllers were the problem, but this video talking about some of the problems of RR made me realize that there were subtle things that made me like the game less and less. After hearing someone put it into words, I finally understand the problems I've delt with but never realized were problems.
I get the moderation hell part, I was working on a game that I was so proud of, It looked amazing and I was excited to release it, but out of no where my game was place under moderation without any notice, and when I asked them what happened, they suggested that I had stolen work, or out of game photos, the only problem with that is that this was basically the only reason I would get on rec room, and I would never even think about stealing work. Rec Room was fun, but they completely ruined the game for me, and many of my friends have already abandoned it.
As an older player of this game this perfectly encapsulates just how I feel about the direction this game has taken. From a game that had me playing every single day throughout COVID making friends and memories that have stuck with me forever, to a complete shell of its former self being a buggy mess that never seems to be getting better. I really feel bad for the people who come to this game now because they will never get to experience the game as we got to experience it. I really enjoyed my time helping create and expand the quest speedrunning community but I've realized that all things must come to end, and Rec Room is just one of those things. Although I don't really think it should have been one of those things that dies out because as you explained very well in the video, it was their own decisions that caused the downfall. W video man and that animation at the end almost had me tearing up.
Pretty much the greatest rec room video I have watched to date (especially that ending)! I joined on the tail end of 2019 just in time to experience the golden era of rec room before things started to go downhill. I became champions for both of the disc golf maps and stunt runner and decided to get into the speed running aspect! I even started to do competitions such as the reclympics for discus toss! But as the game start to go farther and farther downhill, speed running started to become the only reason I stayed (As well as managing leagues for the game as well). But when the devs started to take everything the helped the aspects of speed running out of the game, I immediately gave up and left the game for 5 months, (these include movement glitches, throwing physics, double shot, etc). However even though rec room is still in it’s dark age, we have started to see some hope (that being the devs fixing and adding back old things, to other things like this Awesome video :) ) I would loved to be proved wrong and see this game make an insane comeback, but.. sadly only time will tell.
This might actually be one of the best rec room videos i have ever watched on UA-cam. No rec room video has actually almost brought me to tears but this has. I know that seems like glazing but as someone who has lived in the rapidly changing world of rec room ever since 2020 I’ve watched its downfall and I’ve watched none care about it. But this has finally addressed things about rec room that I’ve been worrying about for the past 4 years. And the last 10 minutes of this video was absolutely amazing
Just watched this fully and the ending really hit me hard. Made me shed a tear actually lmao. I really miss this game and it will never go back to what it ever was. I can agree with lots of points in this video and i've seen most of it myself. I saw the drastic downfall for this game and each time i get on i just hate it more because of bugs, lag spikes, pricing, community, etc. But most importantly this ending brought back some memories that i've long forgotten about and i thank you for that. This just feels like i just lost someone close because of this ending and i cant stop crying while writing this. Hopefully a dev that has actual meaning sees this and can get some stuff dont right. I really hope that.
This is an amazing video. Rec Room is a game I haven't actively played in over a year, only hopping on now and then. But this video helped me remember all of the fun that I had, all the little quirks that made the game so great, and most importantly remember, how much I love Rec Room. This video was not only a huge nostalgia trip but brought up immaculate points about the games' downfall. I don't mean to be parasocial, but thank you so much for this whole video, it was a great watch.
Very true, mate, the fact that there are so many predators on this game and the fact nothing is being done is disgusting. I have just recently started making videos calling out and exposing predators, and I've already lost count of how many I've yet to make a video on. I have submitted all predators to zendesk, yet nothing has been done.
Dude this video is incredible. I know everyone comments on the animation but I have to say I love the way you mixed the animation with machinima (aka the rec room gameplay footage). The mirror scene must have taken so long to make. Keep up the great work!
I used be be an avid player and creator around 2017-2021ish. I won contests, was in beta tests for paid inventions, in Ink Inc during the first invention tower, etc. But after in app purchases and screen mode, the game just started going downhill, and it NEVER stopped. While I don't play anymore, Rec Room jumpstarted my Game Dev career and I've now released 18 small games on itch and 1 on the apple app store. My dream is to one day make a social VR to recreate the feeling of RR in the 2018ish era edit: that outro my goodness
What games were you known for back in the late 2010’s era? Also would love to see someone bring us back to the old times, however I don’t know if it’d work the way we could only hope.
50:12 The creator of these inventions has a recolorable version of this dormskin already. Its just more complicated to use rather than having pre-made versions.
Oh shoot, didn't notice that when scrolling through their portfolio. I'll add it to the corrections in the pinned comment, thanks for letting me know :)
I used to play this a ton on PSVR. I was semi-excited when this got a Ps5 upgrade, but when they announced they weren't interested in PSVR2 support, that's mostly when and why I fell off. Maybe it's selfish but I didn't really care to play this game outside of Vr.
I feel that too they did say it’s mostly because PlayStation isn’t allowing it for stupid reasons despite Recroom being the most played thing on PlayStation VR yet nah let’s not take the most played VR and not put it on PSVR2 like it’s so frustrating now playing the game off VR doesn’t feel bad infact I actually think the controls off VR are surprisingly good but still I don’t play Recroom on my channel as much as I used too hell in fact the only videos on recroom I do is playing paintball
hey. i started rec room around 2021, and nowadays the game has just lost the same hit feel you describe in this video. i no longer feel like i'm exploring something beautiful, and i have watched as some of my favorite things to do on there have simply degraded. literally cannot stop replaying this video over and over again. it is such an impressive work full of soul and i hope to see more of it! you've got a new sub, and that outro was truly an eye-watering experience. ❤
Dude the animation at the end was so good, just wanted to thank you for explaining to me why i left because i was confused as to why i left since i used to be obsessed with the game, but now i don't go on there much anymore, maybe like once every 5 months but other than that, i tend to stay away from it
Honestly just reminds me of vrchat when Tupper tried to ban mods and everyone left, then he tried to ban nsfw and immediately pics of him and a desktop user got leaked
*A FEW DISCLAIMERS AND CORRECTIONS, PLEASE READ*
*CORRECTIONS/NOTES*
9:12 - (NOTE) I was mostly just using the art style for CV1/2 as an example for the main point I was trying to make, but in hindsight it was a pretty bad and nit-picky one; sorry about that. While i still stand by how CV2 wouldn't really fit the college vibe of RR, i dont really think it needs to be like that. The style that CV2 has at the moment is perfectly fine, if not more efficient and easy to look at than CV1
31:18 - (NOTE) I feel like some better examples here would've been stuff like how Inventions can only be priced in increments of 250 Tokens (it used to only be 50 before) and as of 12/28/24, Rec Room started running an A/B test that locked a lot of the free items older players would get by default for newer players.
40:34 - (MINOR CORRECTION) While it's true that Gribbly doesn't fully create the music for Rec Room anymore, he has somebody else help him on it and not an entire music team (according to AMA #35 at 25:36). I still stand by what I said in the video for MLM and MITM, but the soundtrack for Rec Room's newest RRO, ^RunTheBlock, is way better than both of the previous two RROs (but I still prefer the older music RR put out. idk if it's just nostalgia, but it seemed to have so much more passion and soul put into it than what we see today)
50:12 - (MINOR-ISH CORRECTION) The creator of those "Gamer Dorm" inventions already made a version to where you can recolor the different point lights.
(Thanks to @DudeRecRoom, @NekoCoreNetwork, @Sleepyhead080808, and @StarCenturion for the corrections!)
*DISCLAIMERS*
First off, please don't send any hate towards any RR staff or really anybody mentioned in the video.
@Bluegooose62 i... may or may not have already deleted the DaVinci Resolve project in an effort to clear up my storage drive, so reuploading isn't an option 🫠 I also *really* wanted this video to be released on my 5th year anniversary playing RR (also I don't think a few small-ish corrections is really that much for an hour-thirty video)
And yea I'm aware the music is really loud. I wasn't sure if it was just my headphones or not so I admittedly kinda just hoped for the best that it was. I guess your best bet would just be using the auto-geberated subtitles ._.
Lesson(s) learned I guess lol
@@theluchenator fair enough, id love to see how you improve in the future.

Amazing video man, you’ve earned my sub. Haven’t played RR in years, but you deserve it.
“How rec room has entirely lost their original vision for the game.”
“How terrible some parts of their monetization are.”
“How awful the UGC side has become.”
Those points are eerily similar to Roblox.
The worst part about this is RecRoom's community can't hold the game like Roblox's community does.

It was sad

Ik, I was abt to make a video abt how the game is just ruined now.

@@soapkill2028 we should get into making our own VR game like Rec Room at this point
The intro and outro sequence was immaculate.
Don't agree with every point (and some claims are wrong, as we talked about on Discord), but this is one of the better Rec Room critique videos out there.
I wonder where it all went wrong...
No one wants to play a game that's essentially about socializing with toddlers. It's very creepy.

@TheOddInfluencer I have a list of corrections for things I got wrong in the video in the pinned comment, with two of them coming from Star
I stand behind it was the introduction of screen mode that was the begging of the end. They realized there was a broader more capital rich environment for them to take advantage of.
0:24 WHAAT? I CANT HEAR YOU OVER THE MUSIC
“DAMN IT JIMMY, TURN THAT MUSIC DOWN!”
His ass does NOT know how to sidechain audio tracks

@Tivantri1 bro get your ears checked I can hear it perfectly.
I thought it was an “infinity repeating” reference xD
(The music video for that song has almost the exact same shots at the end)
So true. It's sad to see the differences and altercations we've had to go through, and I wish the RR team would just reset it all.
This is genuinely an INCREDIBLE analysis. I hope that the devs see this and it helps them fix Rec Room’s issues. You did an incredible job explaining what is going on. To someone who hasn’t been in the know for a while, I haven’t seen how rampant some of these issues are.
Forgot to mention this, but the animation at the end is stunning.
this video is genuinely making me feel emotional, this is actually just a work of an art explaining rec room's current situation.
people may think it's stupid to care so much, but what they fail to understand is just how much this game has done for it's players.
i genuinely don't cry over videos or anything like that, but that ending made me shed a tear. (i can agree that's stupid)

There’s nothing that hurts more then watching your childhood game or favorite game fall off.
The other day I was in a discord call when someone randomly screened the ending of this video. Everyone in the call was shocked at how good the animation was. I finally got around to watch the whole thing and I’m happy I did. This is hands down the greatest rec room video I have ever seen.
That’s deep
the ending made me cry, and it represents the feeling that i felt when i finally quit rec room.
i hope this game gets better at some point.
that "this room isnt diverse enough" is so insane that i cant think that its serious, its absurd to the point of being funny and i REALLY hope that was what he was going for
Ok a bit of a correction, as stated in the pinned comment: That clip was heavily taken out of context.

(and thanks SoulFox if you're reading this!)
Oh hi Soul.
that ending was an emotional and utterly transcendent experience and you are an incredible artist. Few things hurt more than decaying nostalgia, and you portrayed that elegantly.
I knew little to nothing about rec room before this and yet I'm now left being so thankful that you've made this video.
Rec room died cause they deleted my naked foxy fnaf model

No truer words have been ever spoken ✊😔

Because there was nothing like that old game you "knew."
But, at the same time, maybe that just makes those memories more special---and that doesn't mean that all that time you spent meant nothing, you know? It was part of why you are the way you are, or why you know who you know today. To me, its not as sad if I view it that way.
Great video, stands leagues above the rest in so many different ways.
As someone who played in 2017 I can confirm that you are 100% right in everything you say.
Dude, this video is AMAZING, this is the level of content that I aspire to achieve with video essays. Absolutely UNREAL Job
I agree
THIS WAS AN AMAZING VIDEO! Kinda off topic but the editing and the way everything is structured are really good! Thanks for making this 🥲
I joined Rec Room for the first time in YEARS about a week ago and it changed so much.
These animation made me want to cry, perfect song choice, effects, style, I love it all.
ima be honest i love your use of your rec room avatar as a speaker. it gives a real "halo 2 machinima" aesthetic
Words cannot describe how much this video resonates with me, everything from start to finish just hits so hard with nostalgia for old Rec Room.
As much as I hope this game can go back to its roots, I think it might be too far gone.
Great video. I agree with pretty much everything mentioned
this is the best video I've seen covering this topic
from someone who's been playing since their locker room days, i relate to a lot of the points you make.

Dang that animation at the end was really well made, it's suprising how a video of such quality only gets 10k views
The best Rec Room experiences I have had was chilling with an IRL friend in the dorm room, talking about life and building things. It was like VR Gmod with a built-in model maker and it was perfection. Making your own fun is significantly better than relying on the fun made by others.
The ending part made me shead a tear because this was a memory you only get once in your life with your friends.
That outro was insanely well made. Like incredibly well made. Props.
I headcanon that S is just an abbreviation for "Storefont" because every Lore event nowadays was just a map with a Storefont plastered in the middle of the map, filled to the brim with 10k+ token items, and 50k+ token sets.
The most beautiful animation I've ever seen at the beginning and end. You deserve 632 million subscribers; keep it up!
somebody get this man an award
The absolute WORST part of it all, is that even if rec room realized what they were doing is wrong it’s already to late for them to hit the undo button. They’d have to get rid of years of UGC content and features. It’s only downhill from here guys.. 😔
The ending was absolutely gut wrenching, I genuinely shed a few tears
This video says a lot about how people are feeling about rec room right now.
Thanks for such an amazing video 😭😭
Hopefully one day Rec Room will get their act together.
the real rec room was the friend we made along the way
but seriously this video was amazing, and all my friends did the watched this together and this video was perfect, and words can't describe how great this was, and I also joined around the same time this was just insanely good, and that ending part made some of us low-key cry. I actually think you have so much talent and this video deserves more attention.
and I feel like you finally put a voice to so many opinions that many in the community have but don't have the platform to speak out about it
90% music 10% voice
im already aware the music is really loud. really dumb editing mistake on my part lol
This game saved my life. It was my escape when my dad passed from a stroke. The friends I made along my journey, the rooms I created, and everything me and my friends have done, it will forever stick with me. I am still a small developer who makes light shows but this video just hit me with so much I never even noticed. I was kinda tearing up and the last 2 minutes especially with that running scene xD
Well done, you’ve done something I could’ve never imagined.
Still an amazing, well written, and documented video commentary
this might be one of the best videos i have watched this year and this is exactly how ive felt
and the animation is so sick
---> @The_Gamebuster 2016 - 2022
Amazing video, totally agree. The production quality is incredible and you make good points. Also the end animation was fire.
hey man dont be mean to the teller man he's my favorite lore character
nah the teller's fine he can stay
@@theluchenatorno hes not lol
Whats definitely wrong with Rec Room is that the maps that are made- the low quality and cash grabs are the most popular whilst the most effort spent maps are in the ground 😢
This is definitely one of the greater videos I’ve watched talking about Rec Room’s problems. Loved the animations too. Awesome job!
the exit sequence is the only thing thats made me cry in a very long time, ive laughed, loved and lived in rec room, it helped me figure out who i am. i often think of those lucky times fondly and thank you alot for reminding me, even in a video like this that there is still joy out there.
i feel, partially reasonable for some of the slop thats on rec room now, while it still wouldve happened there where some decisions me and others made that couldve distracted some of those big players in on that side of RR.
Oh, and this is a given, but
That animation?
Edit was to correct the date I joined in.
0:20 yeah, you can say all of those points to roblox too.
I joined Rec Room two days before you, on November 21st 2019 as a screen player, a bored guy looking for something to play on the PlayStation store, I basically lived the same, in my experience, I hated seeing how games like Rec Room and Fortnite suffered with this metaverse epidemic even Roblox had it, Facebook went crazy with it, turning Oculus into Meta, truly a bad time that the UGC implementation made worse, sadly there isn’t much that we can do, just hope developers notice the big problems that are happening right now, thanks for taking time producing this video, especially the 3D animated parts, those look super good
intentional or not, i love how you lag while you were in the past and turned smooth when you went to the present, it gives slight personality
That honestly wasn't intentional, but you *are* right lol.
@ if you ever do a video like this again, you should add a slight bitcrush to your voice
Can i just say that the animation at the end is absolutely incredible
FINALLY SOMEONE BRINGS THIS UP i quit rec room a couple weeks back and i was so tired of the prices of literally everything. Every fun room was dead and people were only playing dumb brainrot games, they changed the ui so many times its unplayable, it was just too much
Heya,
Im AtlasInHell but formerly WonderBoy/WonderSauce/Wonder.
One of the best RR vids Ill probably see.
I first played Rec Room in 2022 and haven't even played in VR before (for purely financial reasons, headsets are just too expensive atm), so I'm not entirely sure how qualified I am to speak on the state of Rec Room, but I would still like to mention a fairly obscure problem I (and most certainly many others) have experienced
The "Screenmode lobby" problem has branched off into an entirely new one: some VR players have grown so sick of it that they resent all Screenmode players. I'm not even kidding when I say it's gotten to the point where I have actually legitimately been discriminated against for playing Screenmode (can't even believe that's a real sentence)
There's a very real and very hostile stereotype that ALL Screenmode players are the same loud, unattended children flooding lobbies, and it seems to have been a thing ever since Rec Room started supporting more platforms. The fact that VR players have several advantages over Screenmode players in several competitive multiplayer PvPs/quests hasn't helped either. I've seen little to no talk about this stereotype, and it's honestly really sad
I imagine once Rec Room started supporting more platforms, a LOT more people were introduced to the game because of the lower barrier-to-entry (I know I was; if it weren't for PC compatibility, I never would've been able to pick up the game). I feel like that's a good thing. Who knows how many awesome people you never would've met because they couldn't afford VR? Yes, it let in a LOT more loud children (we find them just as annoying as you do, believe me lol), but I don't think Screenmode as a whole is to blame for that, I will die on that hill and take the stereotype with me
On a more positive note (I think we all need it):
- The devs ARE listening, even if they're slow. As an example, double-shot was brought back very recently after it was accidentally patched, which I'm sure is phenomenal news for the community. You can still argue they only did it because of backlash, sure, but double-shot stands out to me in particular; it's a random and beloved quirk, not a threat to their income. There's less reason for them to go out of their way to fix it, and they did it anyway
- I greatly prefer Rec Room over games like Roblox because it all takes place in it's own universe; basically the "college theming" that was brought up many times. Good proof that even in the state Rec Room is in today, newer players still notice and appreciate what makes Rec Room unique. Or I just have really low standards, who knows lol
- Some of the most fun I have ever had in Rec Room has come from creating comedic situations and meeting people because of it. I am genuinely surprised how quickly people in Rec Room will go along with stupid bits; I do something stupid like sit in trash cans and demand food in a menacing voice, and within actual MINUTES there will be complete strangers playing along. It just doesn't get old. Even in Rec Room's current state, I'll always play it for how shockingly easy it is to meet people I roll with
Wall of incoherent rambling text ends here
100% honest: I've never played Rec Room, I don't even have a vr headset, I just clicked on the video because I needed background noise while working on something else and youtube put this in my recommendations. but between the animation of the video and how passionate you were about the game, I felt compelled to watch, not just listen, and the ending of the video even made me tear up! its such a shame to see such a positive game and community just turn to rot and slop. seriously though, great video, great work dude.
Im suprised you mentioned this, i thought i was the only one that thought rec room studio was a bad idea.
Absolutely Great Video!!! Some beautiful points that you explained in great detail! (Thanks for using my clip too!!)
However even though rec room is still in it’s dark age, we have started to see some hope (that being the devs fixing and adding back old things, to other things like this
Awesome video :) ) I would loved to be proved wrong and see this game make an insane comeback, but.. sadly only time will tell.
You had a chance to make a pun "Rec Room: The Best Way to WRECK a Game"
The best way to rec a room
The animation at the end is SO GOOD. Also that song choice for the animation was amazing.
My dream is to one day make a social VR to recreate the feeling of RR in the 2018ish era
edit: that outro my goodness
1:32:30 is cinema. amazing video dude.
Dude the animation at the end was so good, just wanted to thank you for explaining to me why i left because i was confused as to why i left since i used to be obsessed with the game, but now i don't go on there much anymore, maybe like once every 5 months but other than that, i tend to stay away from it
This video only having 20k views is shocking when comparing to the quality
Scary what money can do to a game. This was a beautiful story.
brother that music is LOUD
Honestly just reminds me of vrchat when Tupper tried to ban mods and everyone left, then he tried to ban nsfw and immediately pics of him and a desktop user got leaked
