just sort dates in groups of 5 like 81 -85 or 10s 96 -2000 as example powerade bottles work good an then you know what set of dates are where and way less searching to look through
I filled a jug. We moved it on a piece of plywood. When we set it VERY GENTLY down, it broke perfectly around the base. It cracked completely around base.

Sometimes the title will claim the penny had an error because the L in liberty is touching the rim. That’s what mine is like. Is it really worth that much? I was also wondering if grading it would be a good idea. I see none that sold on eBay were graded and still sold as described above

The back has a somewhat of a dye chip, flip it over couldn't believe what I saw!!!! 😮 😲 😳 looks like another penny got folded over onto this one. Metal Swiss cheese. I got my magnifier out and you can still see date and mint mark.

Should have bought some little ziploc bags and about 6 ice trays and a black magic marker when you start dates on ice trays and the mint condition put those in the little ziploc bags as for the rest put them in order in the trays. You can take a lid off a printer paper box and write the dates on the inside of the lid and stack the same coins on top each other by dates and mint Mark's, But it doesn't take much to knock over the stacks and mix them up again. I got a bunch of pennie rollers and used a pencil to write on the rolls. My older brother just had a stroke and he's out of it. My sister and I went to his house and my sis asked me if I wanted my brother's sparklets bottle with 3/4 full of pennies. I told her no. Good luck

Look for a 1983 Denver small date ( research small date different shape on the 8 ) if it weighs .3 grams then it is a old planchette , they switched over different metals in 1983 . If you do have the heavier 3 grams one your in the money $$$$$$
I guess the sloppier the mint is, the more money gets temoved from circulation, while even moe goes into the economy. So it could be intentional economic policy to take pride in their mistakes?

I can’t believe some of these minor discrepancies that would make these things be worth something it just doesn’t make sense,, some of them are just so insignificant come in, I can understand some of them that are two headed coins or have the front of a nickel in the back of a dime or something like that but come on what makes a penny worth $100..

These clowns that just go to the coinstars. Everytime I save up change, I fill out my folders, keep the pre 82 pennies, and always keep my eye out for silver. That's how it's done
