I have no idea why UA-cam recommended me this video because I have no interest in collecting coins, but I just sat and watched you sort through the entire bag. Maybe UA-cam knows me better than I know myself 🤔
Same. I forgot I had a tub of £2 coins that I used to just throw them in for saving. I will be going through it over the weekend.
me too I did think he's already done this
That's like me. I've never even searched anything to do with coins before and never shown any interest in it, but I sat through this entire video for absolutey no reason at all 😆
Ahh my bad, I watched a UA-cam short yesterday about some rare 2p coin worth £2,000 and I guess that is why this video was recommended...
I’ve no interest in collecting coins, yet I still found this interesting.
I've no interest in reading comments regarding collecting coins, yet still.... no, I didn't find this interesting.
I dont collect coins..but it is so infectious watching you go through the coins..love to see someone so passionate about their intrests
Agreed Matthew, mate. I've got into watching magnet fishing vids cos they're pretty interesting too.
@@hopebgood I am into Post 10 Channel, cleaning culverts out and wild camping, mad what you end up watching
I came across your channel by accident and within minutes I was hooked - your encyclopaedic knowledge and laid back commentary is very entertaining - love the quirkiness of the whole thing - looking forward to seeing more . Great job 👏 😉
totally agree mate....i just said the same..
We've got a £2 coin without a print on the silver bit in the middle. We took it to the royal mint a few years ago and nothing seemed to suggest it was fake so its pretty neat
I had an awesome discovery myself a few months back--the second rarest Lincoln Cent, the 1914 D. Found it in a jar, above the sink, where it must have been stashed for 50 years, at least...
Well done on finding the egg error Christopher . What a remarkable find 😁. Lovely Olympic Centenary find also .
A lot to love about watching this hunt. There was a great Oooohhhhh and it was only the second bag in. I'd never heard of the fried egg error so thank you for highliting it. But I've never seen you more excited about a wonky technology coin even after finding a 2015 Britannia and a London Olympiad coin. A great video 😁
U need to learn how to count
brilliant to be back myself after long illness , still ill but have enjoyed collecting for 60 years and do love your bag openings of all sorts
Congrats on the 'Fried Egg Error', Christopher! Love the new towel...it won't show the grubby residue!
How has that not been found in 21 years of being made is beyond me! well until now congratulations.
I had one myself a good few years back and was worried greggs wasnt going to take it lol
@ 4:44 In Ireland when we got the bi metallic coins we would press out the inner, reverse it and press it back in.
Congrats on the great find! I love it when treasures show up in these coin hunts!
Saw one being found live and ended up in my collection. Who remembers?
A brilliant error. 👍😎
UA-cam suggested this to me and I thought nah, coins are dull.
2 minutes in and I want to say I was spectacularly WRONG. This was absolutely fascinating. Thank you & subscribed.
Congratulations on the fried egg! When I saw, Canvey on Sea, I thought, no it can’t be. I grew up in Essex, and 30 years ago, Canvey Island was considered, shall we say, a little rough. It seems some genius estate agent has managed to alter the image to such an extent, the post office is now called Canvey on Sea. Fabulous 😂😂
tbh you think this channel is going to be boring but actually its addictive and very interesting.
Wow we Christopher what an amazing find !! Congratulations 😊👍
Exciting news! The inclusion of Rose number [66] beautifully symbolizes our collaborative efforts in this creative garden at CoinEra. Let's continue nurturing this shared space together! 🌹🌷🌼 Thank you for being an integral part of it! 😊💖
Great Find! Christopher. 🍳 💯 👍
Really pleased for you 👍
I notice on the obverse a similar thing has happened with the gold, not so much as the reverse tho.
Are they worth much ?
I know rarity doesn't always mean 'loadsa money ' , I just wondered about errors like that.
Britannia is my favourite reverse, the Romans used her image on reverse of some of their British coins , imo we should always have a coin with her on it's reverse, :)
What a great hunt the egg error amazing well done Christopher.
Spiderman retired from crime fighting and now searches the multiverse for rare £2 coins. Who could known 🤷♂️
Beauty find Chris! Hope you're doing well my friend. 😉🍻
Big up the Canvey Island massive. We used to occasionally go there for a summer holiday in the 80s to stay in some horrible dreary brown chalet on the seafront.
WOW totally epic find keep up the great videos xxx
Wow what a find. Great hunt !!
Cracking find that. Will look great in your collection 👍
Wow! Superb find well done!
Thanks gor sharing got a few good 2 quids myself.
Top Work Christopher, Great Find!!! 👍👍💯
Another amazing find !!! 👏👏👏👏
A fantastic hunt with a cracking find 👏 😊
What an amazing find Christopher, congratulations!
How much is it worth?
@@petervolkovoy7516exactly that’s all I watched this video for as I’ve about 200 £2 coins all collectibles but I don’t know the value for any of them plus I’ve £5 coins and about 300 £1 coins most of which are the old style £1 coins so of no value other than to collectors then finally I also 50p coins and they are in the hundreds and both types the old large ones and the newer smaller ones then various other collectibles in coins .
great find! when you speak of lafta or he is around the finds seem to be extra good talk about duck luck lol
What a beauty that is! Bravo
Thats really cool. Congrats on the find
Fantastic error, always wanted to find one but to see one being found on a video is very rare.
Brilliant egg error never seen anything like it,imo your star find of the hunt, shout out for the Olympic Centenary and 2015 Brittania.
All the best.
It was great to see you experiencing sovereigns at Chards,
Very nice. Can't grumble about that bag
Wow what an awesome egg error to find, to be honest I didn't know it existed until this video - so I'm glad I was here when you did. Nice one!
I'm absolutely scrambled over the error find ... only yoking, truly outstanding, best £2 find every I would say Christopher super happy days
Eggstatic?
I enjoy watching these films. Makes a welcome change.
I stumbled on your channel when seeing if other UA-camrs have a Northern Ireland coin. Nice find!👍
Although I love the Jane Austen coin, the "Fried Egg" 🍳 error has to be the better find. The Queen had a massive wart on her face as well! Will you be finding a space for the coin in your album(en)? 😂😂 Great Olympic and 2015 Britannia finds too. 👍
Great to see your videos and hope all is well.
Great video and a top find Christopher!
First visit….exciting….thank you for showing .
I do hope you had full English breakfast with that fried egg error🤣🤣 some other nice find’s as well👌👍
Goddamn look at how he flips the coins. What a legend
Eggselent find Christopher!
eggsactly what i was thinking
Never heard of that error before. Thanks for the knowledge
I know nothing about coin collecting, but I do save any coins that have a different picture. I'm sure all I have are common ones. I dont know why your videos came up in my suggested watch list, but im glad they did. Very interesting. Subbed.
Great find Christopher collects I'd love to have this in my collection.. pretty pretty plz
Great find I’m not sure which I like best but I do like the Jane Austen
Great hunt and nice to see not just 50p coins
Great video , brilliant find .
Canvey Island, a touch of Essex and close to home.
Chris, really enjoying the channel ,- keep the content coming
It's nearly midnight and for some reason UA-cam decided to show me this ... more annoyingly is that I then watched it ! Strangely relaxing - never knew coins had so many variations. 🙂
Bro exact same for me rn, 11:12 had long day and this is so relaxing
The egg is a great find, but the sight if you finding that stunning plush Jane Austen coin a while ago trumps it in my opinion
My first thought was deffo the Jane austen coin wins but then I thought u can buy that so maybe the fried egg coin is better as u deffo can't buy that!! Great hunt as always thank you, great fun watching.
Never even heard of an egg error but it is an amazing find Star find me thinks
This young man is like a young John Major
Wow, what a find! Congrats on the fried egg error
what a cool dude you are! i would love to have you as a mate! 😁 every two minuets i would be like, yo bro?! is this worth anything? what about this? 😆😆
Love how fast your moving the coins lol, it was like watching a poker dealer in vegas!
Best Hunt of the past year! 🎉🎊😄, a fried egg error beats a Kew Gardens or a commonwealth games NI in my opinion, i wonder how that lasted 21 years in circulation without being noticed? 🤔
Canvey on sea is along the A13 in Essex before Southend on sea and has an amusement near the Beach.
Thats an insane error. Congrats Christopher!
cracked it , with the £2 EGG 🥚 error , Great find
Well done Christopher I think canvey on sea is Essex .
The £2 coin before the egg one was dodgy as well, check the video back and look at the silver in it but I’m sure that’s a run/misprint as well maybe even a couple in that bag
Ooh, some nice finds there chap! I got into coin hunting in early 2019, but of course the events of the following year sort of killed that off and I never got back into it! 😷🚫🙃
Have to say I'm envious of the speed at which you're able to work through a bag! I tended to lay mine out in a 5x4 grid (Though I was doing circulated 50ps) but I was quite slow checking and categorising them, and didn't really look out for errors either.
In my case age might have something to do with it too, though. _[Gestures at walking frame 😋]_
Talking of errors, that _Fried Egg_ was a very nice find! I admit I'd have probably run right past it without even spotting it! I think I still have _one_ unopened £20,- bag around somewhere, I might have to work through that one _very_ carefully! 😇
Closest I think I've had to an _error_ was a 2015 Britannia where the outer ring had been compromised and had started to oxidise, so I returned it to circulation. Often regret it (Think that was the only '15 Britannia I ever had) but at the end of the day I think I once unwittingly passed-on either a _Kew_ or a _Presidency of the EU_ at some point in life, so that sort of stuff happens. 🎰😇
Also: You might've converted me away from sealed bags: They used to be all I ever looked at on the assumption coin centres would never check coins but bags dropped off at the Post Office probably had been. If I do another hunt in the future I'll have to give Post Office bags a spin! 📯💰👍
I had a ‘Kew’ and also passed it on, unfortunately.
intresting . we also collect coins. what a great hunt !
Well done on the fried egg error. Great video again.
Could Canvey on Sea possibly be Canvey Island in Essex😊
Hi just found your channel about £2 coins and I was wondering if you have ever come across one with a sliver of the silver section missing.
I think the fried egg error is harder to find than the Jane Austen. The Jane Austen NIFC was meant for collectors and not for circulation while the fried egg error is 100% unintended. I also enjoy error coins way more than NIFCs.
NIFCS - Not Intended For Circulation * ??????
@@berryj.greene7090 The s in "NIFCs" is not a part of the acronym.
Strangely therapeutic I am hooked.
What a cool error coin find mate.
What’s the difference between divorced men and pigeons?
The pigeons are still capable of making deposits on new BMW’s
Hi Patrick did I tell you about a man I know who's addicted to brake fluid. He says he can stop anytime.
wow what an incredible find mate you don't see them often 🎉great find mate
WoW That Error😮 Congrats Chris
My favourite find was that spiffing fried egg error coin! Fab. Made the grippers curl a little. Brill. 😄 CAAAAAMOOOOOOOON ENGURRLHANNDDDDDDDDD.
Cracking find 👏
Hi Christopher.Good hunt today. I'm sorry but I can't seem to get excited over the fried egg find. One of my coins which took ages to find was the Olympic coin, so this just edge's the wonderful Britannia.
Excellent Chris
Canvey is in Essex in the Thames Estuary
I'd go with the Jane Austin as the better find... but on a side note , have you got any navy centenary with off centre strikes (as in the centre is not in the middle) or are they all like that?
The fried egg error has to top the Jane Austin NIFC. The Jane Austin even though NIFC should exist the fried egg shouldn't. If that makes sense. Nice hunt well done Christopher brilliant hunt.
Great reaction, I used to collect when I was a kid. I found a pig coin ‘advocates for the rights of man’ in a record player.
Great coin hunt Christopher & a fantastic fried egg find still on my bucket list, but have been fortunate to find a couple of 20p coins with die cracks listed in the check your change Collectors coins price guide + others confirmed by the Royal mint, recently found a very odd Jersey 20p that hasn't got the cupro nickel coating it looks like a copper coin, I'd be interested in your opinion ?
I used to work in a national cash center and know that many rare coins are taken by staff.
Cool find 😎
Brilliant collection, where did you get the binder from?
Great find, we’ll done
Great find! Jane Austen was better in my opinion. Nice Hunt Christopher
🤔. I've never been a fan of errors. If I'd have seen it I probably would have skipped past it 😂. I prefer coins to be unblemished, lol. Jane Austen was better imo, but glad to see you buzzing about something. Let's face it, you've hunted thousands and thousands of coins and if this is the first you've seen then 👏
👍
