This is such a creative idea! The team chosen for this challenge were perfect they added the right amount of chaos to an already crazy game of D&D! Deserve to go viral, I hope you have a good end to 2023 😁
"i want to deal the final blow." Zac: Awesome. I just need you to make a willpower check for ending their life... **Drags person out, tied up and gagged, and drops them on the floor. Hands player a knife.**
*Person on the floor cries out in agony while Zac blurts out 'that was supposed to be a fake knife!' player starts sweating bullets with a strained smile on their face*
Funny thing about barfights: the first punch is fast and light but the rest tend to be slower and with more force. Those machines measure how fast the bar the bag is on passes by a sensor, not how hard you hit the bag. Edit: MAKE THIS A SERIES! IT IS AWESOME! Also, include the cast in the description, some of us are ID-1.0/Ts.
I Watch too much true crime cause I was like “oh no, poison dagger!” And was so baffled by her not getting it before I remembered “right, not everyone knows the signs of a poisoning”
I discovered Dnd from this channel and i like it. Dnd is a game where you can kill a GROUP OF 20 DAMN GOBLINS faster than trying to smash a waitress in the tavern
Zac keeps playing himself. Especially in both the Attack Roll "You hit the target, but you didn't hit me." and the Wisdom Save, "Staring Contest. GO!... there is a big light in my eyes...". 🤣🤣🤣 Now there needs to be a part three. I know the story is over, just make a new one. Better yet... a whole campaign like this.
This is such brilliant fun! Zac you're amazing as always and you've brought together the best group for this. My face hurts from smiling so much. Also, I spied a Lontray in the background filming and cracking a smile when Zac took that arrow.
Me, an American: "Wow! I didn't know people in AUS liked D&D as much as I do! Our similarities really bring us together!" *hears scissors-paper-rock with my own ears at **9:27* "..........tha hell???"
Such a fun idea. I feel like it would be fun to incorporate this into your own group for like a contest, festival, or fair setting. Give everyone the option to roll if they want, but who wouldnt want to shoot a little nerf bow against their dm for an archery contest. 😂
"Discoloration on the neck wound" My jaded by the internet, knows far too many things, probably on a watchlist somewhere, ass immediately thought "Oh poisoned blade"
@@ZacSpeaksGiant actually it's very common to do something similar! Martial artists make a loud sound whenever they hit something as a way to put all the air they have into the hit as well as a way to remember to breathe! For me that sounds a lot more like "Oss" "HIYA" "Tss" or some people do in fact go "Bop"
So: the duke is dead (and technically captured as well). No one knows about this. All 5 members of the party are alive and have escaped. The murder plot going on at the same time has been solved: it was the half-orc and gnome (who are now both dead, from arrow-to-the-head and drowning) with at least one servant accomplice who has probably up and left, while the rich guests are being chased around by wild animals, the guards are being slaughtered by the displacer beast, and the snobby elf people are dead. All in all I'd say that's a success.
If I ever get a IRL party... I will DEFINETLY just get my bow and make a target with my face in the center just to throw out there once awhile if I feel like the rolls are getting boring.
Me hearing the plot: y’know… seems awfully similar to “Weekend at Bernie’s”. (Me now secretly hoping that they just move around the dukes body and pretend he’s speaking / alive
I dont know where you get your shorts at but I just had to share this from my current campaign. We stumbled upon a goblin nest at level 2 and somehow stayed quiet enough for them to not hear us. We watched as there were about 3 dozen around a fire. Our very impatient warlock without asking cast minor illusion about the fire in the form of a very buff goblin (he had no plan). so all the goblins just stared untill I boomed in my very deception half orc (think the krod story) Cast yourself into fire to raise me! Rolled a 19 + 2. of course they all killed themselves in the fire.
As long as the DM lowers or increases the difficulty of the games based on the real world capabilities of the players and the tasks being performed in game I think this is the superior DnD experience.
If you have a best Lego Builder show, The Voice, Tattoo Artist and things like that, why isn't there a BEST DM/GM show. It could be on internet, it could have One Shot's every week, and it could have the best known DM/GM's as jury...
Okay, after seeing the girl with the puppet for more than 10 minutes... i can't help but wonder what it would look like if Jeff Dunham would be the DM for a game where the players were his puppets.
27:00 I wasnt going to say anything but then the comments roasting Zac about it was brought u0 so I have to. Thimbles are typically metal, so requiring to describe it as rubber is silly. It is the sewing thumb thing. (Also i always accidentially call it Thumbelina too and I have no idea why)
I like TTRPG content, you feel for the characters and it's great. I am so much more invested with the players actually "achieving" the ?rolls? whatever that word should be. Good lord, everyone is hilarious in thus group
I’m gonna do this with my campaign, I’m the cleric and happen to pick a light cleric, while 2 out of the 3 other players have characters with light sensitivity, so you either will be healthy, or get flashbanged
I would LOVE to have a DM like him. The 4 DM's I've experienced have not been that great, save for one. She was AWESOME. I wish that wasn't a one shot that day. I can't find games anymore tho, not with people my age. I'm not comfortable hanging out with people 10, 15, even 20 years younger than me. I'm out of their loops, there's nothing to talk about. And unfortunately, I don't really like playing online, for pretty much the same reasons. That AND people are always playing for like 30 minutes then leaving. I can't tell you how may times I've started with like 6 people and the DM and it gets down to 2 before the first hour is up. That's just not fun to me.
A gorgeous, nerdy DM who is, for some reason, dressed like a sexy deckhand with a harness wants irl tests instead of rolls!? I never play Bards (too busy loving Sorcerers more than life), but I'd be SO tempted to make everything a seduction roll! 🤣Thank you for the fun watch!
Daggers do have the finesse property, which allows them to be used with Dex, however it's not a requirement. All melee weapon attacks can be made with strength, whether it's a greatsword or a rapier

Thanks mate, I was so lucky to have the group I did - all of them were phenomenal
This was amazing video!!

Zac: Awesome. I just need you to make a willpower check for ending their life...
**Drags person out, tied up and gagged, and drops them on the floor. Hands player a knife.**
*Player then stabs the kidnapped person because they don't want to lose the fight*
*Zac panics and starts screaming, he gave them the wrong knife, it was supposed to be fake*
*Person on the floor cries out in agony while Zac blurts out 'that was supposed to be a fake knife!' player starts sweating bullets with a strained smile on their face*
Player proceeds to take everyone else's life and wins

Easily the best attempt at this concept I’ve ever seen! It’s truly amazing! Can’t wait for part 3?
I don't think there will be a part 3 he said the story ends there
There will eventually be more of this, it'll be a little while though
Jerome: I'm not short
everyone: denial is a river that runs through egypt
And not just one That venger tried to steal with a laser beam from an ancient crystal

It's fun to throw one or two checks like this in a session
@@ZacSpeaksGiant reminds of JaidenAnimations' command "depression"
Its very comforting that they forget what's happening sometimes
This is great I watched part 1 last night and was like “damn no part 2”
“Hide and go seeeeek!” 🤣
The power I felt yelling that is indescribable
Im sorry but 27:00 is one of yhe funniest things ive seen in a long while. It may be the 3am brain but just "it doesn't stop him at all" is pure gold
Zac subtly asserting dominance in the punch trials..
I was waiting for one of them to use the mace on the punch bag. They had brought it with them after all.
Would've been great

This looks like it was a lot of fun for all involved. Great party, engaging DMing. Hope to see more once you've got it all set up!
