Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice...
Jaiden managed to do something that (from my knowledge,) only Ted managed to pull off, and that was to choose such a weird move it catches everyone off guard. (For reference, I'm referring to Ted just going "Can I cut her head off?")
He is so right, whats a campaign without meeting a goblin. I have been playing dnd for years but I recently started dming for my friends who dont know how to play, I figured we could all learn together, I know how to play and can teach them but I can wing it with learning to dm with people who can also be confused with me. XD They all woke up in a white room and it was a labratory, most of the building was empty because of some event that happened before they woke up, no one remembered who they were or how they got there, but they walked into the next room and met a small group of goblins that were being held captive, they fought them for a few minutes, killing their leader, and then persuading them to stop fighting, becoming friends and one of the party(a Changeling) immediately started flirting with one and shapeshifted into a smaller race that was closer to their height(because Goblins are size small and they couldn't change size when they shapeshift) Now they have 5 goblins just traveling with the party until they leave the labratory. XD
Dnd is wild. I had a enemy who just forced the players to play poker, the chips being their HP all about gambling. First player goes all in and loses, the second the winning hand wins his chips disappears and he dropped to zero, slamming his head on the table and slumping out of his seat. Then the player role played it.
Why do I want Jaiden to be a guest on Just Roll With It (if that’s still going on), it’ll get me back into JRWI which is something I want. Edit: Sorry if you hate this kind of person but over 500 likes? Thank you! I’ve only had a few comments get over 100 likes but this? Never over 150. Edit 2: Back after like an hour, plus 100?? What is wrong with you fellas? This is bigger then my school.
Making Mark and Thompson the same guy, Mark Thompson, was such an ingenious move by you. A really good way to get the party members motivated to fight the baddie. Also did the cat ever fix his time loop issue, or is the assumption that it got fixed once Thompson lost his powers and got turned into a worm?
As someone who has been playing D&D for a couple of months now, this was a surprise and a delight to watch. I cannot get over the acid breath to the face bit. Question, what level were their characters?
Level 5, i'd assume? Paul uses two attacks on one turn during the fight against Mark, when he picks up both halves of his axe. He's a Barbarian so that'd be level 5 (at least).
If you want to see more of charlie playing dnd, you should check out JUST ROLL WITH IT!!!!! An insanely powerful DnD podcast (that ranboo also had a few episodes in)
I once played D&D with my friends and one of them, whose name is Akyle, kept actively trying to murder this other player named Hayden for no reason so the DM had to ban friendly fire, so Akyle tried to bypass the rule by doing stuff that wasn’t obvious that he was still trying to murder Hayden. His various attempts included summoning animals to kill him, convincing other players to kill him, flooding a room with him in it, shooting him. All of this happened during once session. Then the next session, Akyle continued trying to kill Hayden through multiple means. Also my character that I created was just a living, sentient potato names “Jeffarious: the potato master” who kept a rubber potato with him. The stats were absolutely horrible with my intelligence being the lowest it could be and other stuff and one time I tried filling up my rubber potato with dirt and then using it as a Gatling gun but it didn’t work because my intelligence was too low.
Nah, cause when I heard there were bowls of clay my first instict was to say out loud "eat the clay" AND THEN THEY ACTUALLY ATE IT- that's something my whole party would do too XD
as a dm watching jaiden's video, i was nerding out so much at the clay creations fight seeing how you used their forms to improvise the abilities like crown of madness and constrict
I love how the whole disguise self segment is basically the same as something that happened in my campaign: We were sneaking around an evil cult's hideout, and found a random cult member who was only there to try and get enough money for him and his wife to live properly. One of our party member's disguised as his wife and also did the acid blast thing, and then healed him and did it again! It was amazing lmao
I ran a variant of this for one of my sessions and one of my players punted bloy into the chasm below. After that he tried to kick the peeler who held on by stabbing his knife into my players foot thus killing him because he was low from the previous battle.
Jaiden's video made me want to play DnD again. I've only played once before and as good as the story was, it was difficult since we were limited to 45 minutes a week during lunch and people were often not there. I feel like it would also be better with people I know since all the people in that group were strangers (except the dm) and that meant I was pretty anxious.
My dnd group played this campaign once and one of the highlights is that one of the party members convinced The Peeler to peel all of his goblin friends and we snuck by him. It was an extremely fun oneshot. I got so excited when I started to recognize the plot points lmao.
I'm really sad Jaiden didn't include the part where Thomson says: " You ruined my life! You said I cursed you! You said I was a dark sorcerer, so I spent years becoming a dark sorcerer, and I'm gonna have my revenge!"
in my group's campaign, our dm created a boss fight with a skeleton guy with guns who teleports around a lot and it sounds like it was gonna be a cool fight, but our party trapped him in magic circle and cheesed the hell out of it
The TLDR of this: Blew up an inn, went on a quest, found a golden talking door, murdered some clay guys, made some goblins plummet, and then killed an evil Walmart manager, all to turn a sheep into a human.
I had a DnD character named Blaise Maskle and he was a raccoon, he wasn’t anthropomorphic either, he was just a tiny raccoon. He was a forge cleric and he wielded a war hammer twice his size, despite the lack of opposable thumbs. I only got to use him once since I showed up for the second session(being added to the party as a late addition) and the group only had two sessions since our dm turned out to be a drug addict. My character did have a 19 in strength though and killed a goblin just by tackling it after a nat20.
Dnd creates some of the wildest examples of incedental storytelling. One of my players started as a joke cookey and insane character and retroactively became an experiment of my main villain. I also have a fear system implemented that literally just inflicts the darkest dungeon fear status effects as well as the buffs if you roll a nat 20. And those have created such perfect character moments by sheer luck. Its great. Being a dm is hard to do and is very overwhelming but its so much damn fun.
Jaidon has just fulfilled every dnd party’s dream of having a session animated. This was so well done

I would pay all of the money to play D&D with Charlie.
Same. Could you imagine all the crazy stuff and twists?
I love the feeling of seeing another dm watch their work come to life, charlie looks so giddy about watching his story get animated
And his reactions to Jaiden’s most unhinged moments is just….
“Hopefully I have gateway drugged her” is an awful line without context
The video was absolutely hilarious!
Jaiden did such a good job, and because of her video, it inadvertently led me to "Just Roll With It" and I now have a new favorite dnd podcast
Absolutely love Gilleon, currently watching his depression arc on episode five
Yo same! I hope I can catch up eventually XD
Gill is wonderful, and it’s been cool learning about Bizly, Condi, and Grizzly after listening to it as well!
@aliyakrebs8754 Right??
I love all of them. They are all so creative and hilarious!
I'm so excited to see how it all folds out, especially since there are a whopping 111 episodes as of current!
Just so exciting! Man I love Dungeons & Dragons
Oh man, you are in for a trip! It's an incredible podcast
@@lildoomkitty4570 You have no idea how much this comment excites me because these early episodes are already amazing!

If I had a nickel everytime I watched a DnD stream on YT where the party simultaneously decides at the climax of the campaign to YEET their helpless animal guide at the final objective in the hopes of bringing it down, I would have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice...
not only that but it was also against a Walmart manager
We need a DougDoug and Slimecicle DnD stream now lol
I love that you added in-game justification for how the goblins survived in a space only reachable by passing 2 other puzzles
The manager’s wife part was so freaking funny dude omg
Jaiden managed to do something that (from my knowledge,) only Ted managed to pull off, and that was to choose such a weird move it catches everyone off guard. (For reference, I'm referring to Ted just going "Can I cut her head off?")
I love how Charlie Slimecicle is just everyone’s friend
it was a fun plot twist seeing that mark and thompson were the same person
I paused the video and just started repeating "I should've known."😅
Two vods in a row you know its a good day
3 vods
@@crazyninja1351 nice
A fourth VOD is coming too I guess
He did Kareoke for an hour
We didn't get lore until 1 hour and 30 minutes in and it was glorious
"it's three actually"
@@skelestialWell that aged well
Paul just straight up being Larry from Pokémon is perfect.
XD
I’ve also never played D&D before, but this seems so fun and exciting! I’ve wanted too but never had anyone to play with.
I’ve played a few times, and it’s amazing. It does take a few hours, and lots of imagination. It’s amazing
‘Charlie’ is the kind of ‘guy’ to spontaneously become a reaction streamer
Yep! Money be money!
Reacting to colours is next
And not wait for an answer
I love how you put quotations around "Charlie" and "guy," implying that Charlie might not be his actual name and he might not actually be a guy
@@twigthetroll9279 we all know slmccl is just a pile of goop pretending to be human
JRWI Is still doing sessions
theyre still going super strong! this saturday is the s2 finale of the patreon-exclusive campaign, prime defenders (i am foaming at the mouth excited)
@@thefishyminer3572 YES THANK YOU FOR LETTING ME KNOW
@@connor7261 Yeah I just got a notification for the other reply but I’m so happy and I’ll try to get back into JRWI :D
They are on chuckle sandwich, I believe episode 85 of it.
Making Mark and Thompson the same guy, Mark Thompson, was such an ingenious move by you. A really good way to get the party members motivated to fight the baddie.
Also did the cat ever fix his time loop issue, or is the assumption that it got fixed once Thompson lost his powers and got turned into a worm?
the character was just crazy and wasn’t in a time loop after all iirc
As someone who has been playing D&D for a couple of months now, this was a surprise and a delight to watch. I cannot get over the acid breath to the face bit. Question, what level were their characters?
Level 5, i'd assume? Paul uses two attacks on one turn during the fight against Mark, when he picks up both halves of his axe. He's a Barbarian so that'd be level 5 (at least).
22:40 this is the stuff i LIVE for in DnD and why I LOVE when characters get into roleplay.
Ive done some vrazy ridiculous stuff rolling high
That's why I love Jaiden. She seems so sweet, and yet is such a troll. xD
If you want to see more of charlie playing dnd, you should check out JUST ROLL WITH IT!!!!! An insanely powerful DnD podcast (that ranboo also had a few episodes in)
"What doeas infinite frogs mean?"
Yeah always love looking back at old notes and going what did I mean here
I once played D&D with my friends and one of them, whose name is Akyle, kept actively trying to murder this other player named Hayden for no reason so the DM had to ban friendly fire, so Akyle tried to bypass the rule by doing stuff that wasn’t obvious that he was still trying to murder Hayden.
=]
Shouldn't have put it in a dish if it wasn't meant to be eaten 😋
@@Cinnaschticks exactly lol
I get the feeling that Mark Thompson wil become this sessions seal gaiman
I’ve played this as a one-shot. It’s so fun to see how different the game turns out for different groups!
as a dm watching jaiden's video, i was nerding out so much at the clay creations fight seeing how you used their forms to improvise the abilities like crown of madness and constrict
Jadien, Charlie, AND Ranboo being friends? Please dont tell me this is a dream.
I love how the whole disguise self segment is basically the same as something that happened in my campaign:
We were sneaking around an evil cult's hideout, and found a random cult member who was only there to try and get enough money for him and his wife to live properly. One of our party member's disguised as his wife and also did the acid blast thing, and then healed him and did it again! It was amazing lmao
Wild sheep chase was the first one shot I ran. Fond memories.
Slime is such a sweetheart, like his excitement is so contagious! Keep having fun funky man!
I'm really sad Jaiden didn't include the part where Thomson says: " You ruined my life! You said I cursed you! You said I was a dark sorcerer, so I spent years becoming a dark sorcerer, and I'm gonna have my revenge!"
ok but how does Charlie think of this plot and the puzzles he's so amazing
I'm kinda obsessed with Paul, combat businessman trope ftw
this was THE BEST crossover EVER
DO NOT LET ME CHANGE MY MIND
Well-
That's actually a really awesome way to DM. Takes a lot of skill, but really fun!
we need a part 2. This was honestly way too fun to watch and I hope to see another one of these! Maybe, new people as well
Every dungeon Master dream is having one of your players animate a campaign or the very least some of its funnier moments
in my group's campaign, our dm created a boss fight with a skeleton guy with guns who teleports around a lot and it sounds like it was gonna be a cool fight, but our party trapped him in magic circle and cheesed the hell out of it
The TLDR of this:
Blew up an inn, went on a quest, found a golden talking door, murdered some clay guys, made some goblins plummet, and then killed an evil Walmart manager, all to turn a sheep into a human.
I love how, in a world where you can be anything, alpharad wants to be a walmart employee.
“Ye Olde Marte of Wal” 😂😂
I had a DnD character named Blaise Maskle and he was a raccoon, he wasn’t anthropomorphic either, he was just a tiny raccoon. He was a forge cleric and he wielded a war hammer twice his size, despite the lack of opposable thumbs. I only got to use him once since I showed up for the second session(being added to the party as a late addition) and the group only had two sessions since our dm turned out to be a drug addict. My character did have a 19 in strength though and killed a goblin just by tackling it after a nat20.
I got invited to a jojo's bizarre adventure dnd Campaign and the DM allowed me to be a Vampire character with a blood red stand.
22:36 I think I'm the only one who noticed mark thompson plays a tiny violin with his fingers, I'm verry detailed oriented
next DND section make mark's ex the villan
WOOO! YEAH!
SESSION 2!!!
I CAN'T STOP LAUGHING!
Thank you all so much for sharing this with us all!~
I could see jaiden getting into a Pokémon mystery dungeon theme campaign. Maybe you could look into it and just make some good fun
Its great. Being a dm is hard to do and is very overwhelming but its so much damn fun.
i luv ur channel KEEP GLOOPIN AND GOOPIN
Have a gloopy day
He got to see his campaign animated. He is very lucky to have a friend like Jaiden. Every DM dreams to have their campaigns animated. Its so awesome!
