Great to see your videos back for Fall harvest, Mitchell! Looking forward to hopefully seeing more. I really enjoy them. Hope school is going well and keep up the great work!
It's called an air reel. It's designed to blow short crop back onto the platform so the auger or draper can pull it in with a even consistent feed instead of piling up and slugging through all at once.
Great video and super nice equipment. A lot to be proud of with your family business.

How come you are using the red dumb wagon for a grain cart instead of the green one from the wheat harvest?
Jazzy, beautiful.
how many bushels per acre do your beans average?
what is the big thing on the front of the header the silver thing is it to keep deer out of the header
Lol no, it blows air towards the header to help the beans into the combine
oh ok thanks lol
You haul these into ADM? Or Star?
Good video...have you dug any early beets?
Yes we are digging some right now
Cool...I have relatives in Sebewaing...they are also digging early beets and cutting dry beans as well...I miss harvest time...
How many acres do you guys farm? And where at in Michigan?
about 2200, we are near Caro
What’s the big pipe and air blowers for? Haven’t seen these in UK yet ?
CJacksonFencing the big pipe is for the air and it blows the crop into the header and keeps the small grains from falling out of the header
