I was trying to figure out where all the Beets went during the truck transition changing trucks

The beet digger/harvester has a bin that will hold a bit of the harvest while trucks are exchanged. They don't have long. I watched the actual sugar beet harvesting in the Caro, Michigan area yesterday. Very interesting. That farmer had a tractor pulling a dump wagon to fill in for the trucks if they were late.

It's called a beet cart you fill it up & dump them in trucks when opening the fields cuz the trucks can't go in until you harvest like 6 to 9 rows ,otherwise the trucks will run over the beets. The topper or defoliator chops the tops off the beets.
