Hey mate, great review! My mi band 6 doesnt recognize that I am swimming at all when I start the workout. I tried behavior tagging, but as soon as I am in water, even tho I am within 3m of my phone it disconnects the device. I cant even do behavior tagging. How did you manage the device to understand that you are actually swimming?
You go to the workout menu and search for “swimming”, then you start.
As soon as you get in the water it disconnects, but that’s how it is. After your practice, it will automatically reconnect to your phone, and register everything!

@@mac7563 Yes I did, when I start swiming within the next one or two seconds after the cd, it registers. But tbh I didnt find the watch to be good enough for me and stopped using it for good.
@@arrogantraven5019 reset the watch to factory defaults and use the mifit app and not the Xiaomi wear

But can you tell me how to use Training Mode? When I press start it tracks my calories burnt and my bpm heart rate. BUT: No matter if I actually do any training at all, no matter the heart rate, it just counts calories endlessly. So if I end an exercise after 40 min, and leave training tracking on, it goes on and on, 800 calories burnt, evne though I stopped training long ago.
On what basis is training mode counting calories? Obviously not by analyzing your heart rate (is it even possible to count calories by checking the heart rate)?

Yup. Works fine.
If you're going for a run is it a must to take your phone to get an accurate reading? Or can you go with the watch by itself?
It will get the same whether you have the phone with you or not. Having your phone on you only has the advantage of syncing with the app in realtime.
Do I need to carry smartphone when using fitness trackers? Can I leave my phone at home and go for a run?

You can find a lot of wristbands on Amazon, they’re very cheap btw!
Yes the band is quite slim. Gives the feel it will break easy. But idk whether it will or not.
