Been in rough phases of life lately; suffered from severe anxiety and depression. However, seeing your videos makes me calm and divert my attention from the adversities I've been experiencing. Thank you morten, your videos have helped me a lot.
The word you are looking for at 2:00 is most likely 'peat'. The peat was dug up from the ground of the mire leaving large holes where water settled. Peat was used as an energy source when dried. And I love your videos! I come back to them over and over again. Thank you!
A nice video with a cozy vibe ! You sould come in Romania in Danube Delta to make some nice video here with lots of amazing birds ! Will be an amazing video 🤩
Became my favorite channel on UA-cam. Magnificent videos full of serenity, friendship, in landscapes that make me dream. Thank you for these sharings which make feel good.
Dear Morten, Thank you so much, Your beautiful works have been accompanying me during my study. from the beginning of the pandemic until I finished it yesterday. I always come back to your videos when I need to refresh during my studies. Again, thank you a lot, and keep your beautiful works coming in the future. My best regards to you.
Stunning photograph's Morten and Simon. The English name is Crested Grebe's, their mating dance is something spectacular to watch and photograph if you ever get a chance.
Lovely video Morten and Simon. Nice Land Rover . Great to see the floating blinds out . I have always fancied a go in one of these . Awesome and cold I bet 👍
Nice to see you in a video with Simon again :D I think you meant the Great crested grebe (Podiceps cristatus) ;) Beautiful bird! Thank you for taking us along :)
Thank you very much Morten, I really like your videos. They reflect your personality - „hygge“ as the Danes say. I like that nature, coziness and humanity are the focus of your videos. This always shows me which true values ultimately make a good photo. Thank you very much for your video! 😊
So Morten and Simon what did you guys drink in those fancy flasks? It was funny and interesting how you greet one another in that. Nice video always enjoy the series. Cheers.
I was thinking about a presentation idea, like when you show the final pictures of the bird you can add their sound/calling in background. Of course you won't be able to capture sound of every animal, but if possible then it would increase the immersion of the photos!👍
today I watched the footage of you and Simon visiting Poland and photographing birds from a temporary lookout. I was wondering when I would see the new movie again - I must admit that I am excited and I will be happy to see where your adventure took place this time.
Greatimages! i've been thinking about just getting a small pump-up rowing boat for something like this. Llately i've been taking a little photography break because i just didn't enjoy the post-production thing and just took too long for me to go through the pictures etc. Mostly due to the high loading time of each picture when quickly making multiple runs of rating them (similar to the process you once explained in a video). But this also gave me some time to think about my photography habits. There are multiple things i want to change: - I take too many pictures that are not very different from each other. If the lighting or the position or the settings don't change, there is no need to take 4-5 photos. - I too often take a picture before checking if the settings are right for the given lighting. Also by now mostly used fully manual mode, so i need to get to know my camera (D850) and the different modes better. - Get down and dirty...^^ I too often end up with a semi-good picture because i only kneel down instead of actually laying down and getting more foreground and a less top-down view of the animal.
I know the feeling of not looking forward to going through thousands of photos. I’ll say though that I’ve become much faster and selecting the best out of 2000 only takes me an hour or so.
Nice to see the great crested grebe, beautiful birds.Looks like you both had a lot of fun in the dancing floating hides :). Thanks for sharing this with us
Fantastic duo. You both also had a lot of the same clothes on. Here in The Netherlands we call that a "ANWB stel". That is the Automobile Assosiation in The Netherlands and they sell also clothes. And if we see a couple or friends with perfect matching pair of clothing...well that is an ANWB stel. So Danes, lookout for some Dutchies , you will recognize them :)
Go back and see the Grebes when mating and nest building. They go upright on the water, do neck mating dance, play with weeds, scoot across the water upright at high speed, dive for fish, and the chicks are striped and ride on the backs of the parents. Fascinating bird to find for return trips. Great fun
Yes that's "great crested grebe" .. It is also found in India. Hopefully u will come to India 🇮🇳 one day. Here you can have great pictures of the bio diversity, different types of Birds and animals. Hope to see u soon in India. All the best Hilmer.. 👍
I love Dinglish. I'm off to find a tea letter so I can have a warm drink (if you don't speak Danish, this will likely make zero sense). In any case, love to see use of that floating blind. I've thought about it but just don't have the guts to put my gear that close to the water. Those low angle results are second to none though so it just might be a matter of time. Love that grebe.
A wonderful video! The birds that you photographed are called a great-crested Grebe; I'm lucky to see them frequently along the river not far from my house and love to photograph them when I can 😊
Beautiful - I've never seen a floating hide before. What a great way to be able to get into the water and be closer to the birds on the lakes. Thanks for sharing. I truly enjoyed that little bird photography adventure.
This is so nice. I love the calm energy that you set forward to create a sacred space. It really does help others that you have a passion to share this. I feel refreshed to see the community and adventure when recuperating from my last adventure or getting ready for the next. Well done! Continue the excellent work sharing the beauty in life and keeping that never ending sense of wonderment about the miracle of life. ❤️
Hello Morten and Simon, what a wonderful video. Two guys follow their passion and take great photos out in the wild 👍. I hope to see more of this trip. Thank you for sharing this video. Best regards from Germany.
Great Morten Great together with Simon, another great video and a future inspiration,by now you should also be a director, not just a nature photographer, you would be even more successful and you deserve it all. Thanks Morten Cristian from Italy
Great stuff, Morten. It would be interesting to see how your photos differed from Simon's interpretation of the same scene. It's interesting how we each interpret a subject in our own way.
Awesome video ! Entertaining, inspiring an heartwarming to see how close you got to the living space of the birds. Sunday afternoon relax therapy. I enjoyed the video A LOT !!
Yea you are back with a new video was waiting for you ❤ always love to see your content its beautiful and your images are awesome 🤩 I always learn something from your videos and also try to capture some amazing photos too❤
A tip to help with the names of your flora and fauna photography subjects for the many different languages of your viewers is to use the scientific name/binomial nomenclature. The viewer can then quickly determine and use the common name of the species in their native language.
Great material Morten. Very inspirational. Funny to hear the word "tørv". In Dutch it is "turf". Did the Danish also use their tørv to fire up the stoves? We got lots of those tørv-lakes in the Northen part of The Netherlands.
Torv is turf in english. Some whisky producers in Scotland still use it as it gives a distinct smokey scent of their products. Specially on the Isle of Islay...
Thank you for this nice video, Morten. Perfect completely, outdoor, nature, animals, photography and - a real Defender TD5. Much better than that Defender you drove in the Highlands. ❤👍😃
Very cool adventure and great photos. Now it would be nice to test that equipment in tropical waters, like some oxbow lakes in the Amazonas rainforests or similar. Cheers.
Nice expedition Hilmler.. wish you a fantastic experience through your photographic journey. I have watched your videos with much interest being a photographer myself from India and may I say that it would be even better if you show some more birds you have captured through your camera and the lens. Good day brother.
Been in rough phases of life lately; suffered from severe anxiety and depression. However, seeing your videos makes me calm and divert my attention from the adversities I've been experiencing. Thank you morten, your videos have helped me a lot.
Thanks Hilmer. The English name for the bird is a”great crested grebe”
In the Netherlands it is “Fuut” and is very common on our local waters
"Haubentaucher" in German. Thank you for taking us along!!
Also in Italy is quite common and it's called svasso maggiore... it's nice to see that we share something 😂
Podiceps cristatus in latin. Photographed it a long time ago and quite common in Romania where I live
The word you are looking for at 2:00 is most likely 'peat'. The peat was dug up from the ground of the mire leaving large holes where water settled. Peat was used as an energy source when dried.
And I love your videos! I come back to them over and over again. Thank you!
Doesn’t much more serious than this. The entire setup is just ridiculous, from the 4x4 and camping to the floating huts. Just mind blowing.
Minde blowing sir I am totally crush on this video 😊
A nice video with a cozy vibe !
You sould come in Romania in Danube Delta to make some nice video here with lots of amazing birds ! Will be an amazing video 🤩

Some lovely photos of one of my favourite birds - the Great Crested Grebe.
What a great way to photograph birds. I usually have to lay on the dock to get images like that.
Yes it is such a great tool. I’m going to use it much more.
Dear Morten,
Thank you so much,
Your beautiful works have been accompanying me during my study.

Lovely video Morten and Simon. Nice Land Rover . Great to see the floating blinds out . I have always fancied a go in one of these . Awesome and cold I bet 👍

I wear wool underwear underneath the Drysuit
Nice to see you in a video with Simon again :D I think you meant the Great crested grebe (Podiceps cristatus) ;) Beautiful bird! Thank you for taking us along :)
Thanks a lot pica

Yess.... 😍💯
So Morten and Simon what did you guys drink in those fancy flasks? It was funny and interesting how you greet one another in that. Nice video always enjoy the series. Cheers.
We are drinking “Brændevin” a Nordic strong drink😊
Great tradition
My favorite Duo! Enjoyed the adventure 😊. Thank you Morten for sharing
Nice moment, of peace and tranquility. English word for "Tørv" is "Peat".
It’s always a pleasure to join you on your photo adventures. Thank you

its called Peat in English the fuel that was dug up to make those lakes.
hi Morten ......the best of 2023 All the best to you and warm greetings from Germany.
I like your videos a lot. I am a bird watcher and wildlife photographer from Guatemala🇬🇹🇬🇹🦎🪶. Regards

There is so much beauty and peace emanate from your pictures. Thank You!
Good one Morten & Simon, enjoy.

I think this bird you mentioned and showed us in your wonderful pictures is a „great crested grebe“, in German called „Haubentaucher“.
Epic! Reminds me of Das Boot ! Thanks.
Nice experience using a floating-hide.
Amazing vdo. Very interested in the floating hide. Gonna make one for myself.
Those floating hides are awesome!! Beautiful images!!
