I love to buy vintage Hawaiian shirts. The best are in the thicker matte diagonally woven viscose. A real Hawaiian blouse comes from Hawaii and has buttons made of coconut peel. I also have one that looks every bit as good as the real deal, but happens to be from Hong Kong. I do prefer mine fitted, not loose. If they are too short, they can be rather short, they still work great with short denim overalls, as these come pretty high in the waist. But if they are long enough, I go true Magnum Pi. Decently hemmed eighties demin short shorts underneath.
