- After spending the past five years traveling in Ram Promaster vans and building a few others along the way, we craved something new. Inspired by European designs, we set out to create a stylish and versatile micro-campervan which can also be used as a daily driver and fit into a standard garage.
This Ram Promaster City micro-campervan conversion is designed for comfort, functionality and easy off-grid adventures. A well-equipped kitchen, 3 flexible seating options, hidden table, a heater and even a compost toilet.
This campervan truly shines as an ideal choice for a solo adventurer seeking the ultimate freedom on the road.

Thanks. It was a pretty important feature to add. It’s great to not have to go outside in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.
But I thought it said in the video that the toilet is only accessible when the full bed is not set up. If that's alright then the only way to access the toilet at night is to either have it set up outside or put the bed away. Am I wrong? Or is the video wrong?

I liked the remote grey water tank discharge feature. Had considered a manual option for my mini camper, might work on a remote design now 😊

Absolutely right. We bring a short length of vinyl tubing which attaches to the barb fitting output so there is a convenient option to drain at a dumping station.

Hi. Thank you! We’re actually working on a micro-campervan conversion right now. It’s a new 2023 Mercedes Metris. and will have a similar layout and design to this one but just a little bit roomier. It will be completed and for sale this fall. Please let us know if you have any questions.

We’re actually out traveling in our larger Promaster van right now and unfortunately we don’t think it will be easy or possible to find a new Promaster City since they’ve been discontinued. We hope to start a new van conversion in the spring but aren’t sure what it will be yet.

Thank you! We built this as a project while we waiting for a large van to come in. We may build another one next year if we can find another Promaster City or similar small van (Ram discontinued making this model). We don’t have plans or the parts for sale. Thank you for asking.

Yes, we’re working on another micro-camper right now. We couldn’t find a Promaster City so instead it’s a new Mercedes Metris. The design will be very similar and the interior will be a little roomier. We’re planning on completion in the fall. If you have any question please let us know.

Hi Kim, thanks for the interest. Unfortunately, there are no plans available. This was our first micro-campervan build and we designed as we went along. We are currently building another one of a similar design on a Mercedes Metris platform but also designing as we go.

How much for the build if the exact same vehicle is provided to you?
Around $25k, but it varies based on the materials costs. Unfortunately, Ram discontinued this model van.
What toilet is that?
It’s called the Trelino Evo small. We bought it directly from their website.

Does the van smell if you have a bowel movement?
While we haven't used this specific toilet for that purpose, based on our experience with similar composting toilet designs, the answer is no, lingering odors aren't typically an issue. The key lies in separating liquids from solids and using quality composting material
