The Mercedes has a roomier interior but is still garageable and makes a great daily driver. We're wrapping up a van conversion with a design very similar to the Promaster City, but built on a 2023 Mercedes Metris (which is the latest model). We opted for the Mercedes Metris because it’s garageable and a great daily driver but provides a bit more width and length, making the conversion roomier. Yes, we’re working on another micro-camper right now. We couldn’t find a Promaster City so instead it’s a new Mercedes Metris. The design will be very similar and the interior will be a little roomier. We’re planning on completion in the fall. If you have any question please let us know.

Thank you so much! We really gave lot of thought to the design features. We’re actually starting a conversion now. We bought a brand new white Mercedes Metris which also fits in a garage. We’re planning on converting it with a similar feature and design style. We hope to post occasional updates here on UA-cam.

Thanks. It was a pretty important feature to add. It’s great to not have to go outside in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom.

But I thought it said in the video that the toilet is only accessible when the full bed is not set up. If that's alright then the only way to access the toilet at night is to either have it set up outside or put the bed away. Am I wrong? Or is the video wrong?

There’s a low profile drain under the shower pan connected to a flexible drain hose that routes to universal dishwasher fittings and a bulkhead union in the floor of the van. Underneath the van there’s a hose with a bend trap that goes to a 10 gallon grey water tank. There’s a ball valve on the grey tank exit that’s wired to a switch inside the van so it can be opened and closed remotely.

Around $25k, but it varies based on the materials costs. Unfortunately, Ram discontinued this model van.

We’re actually out traveling in our larger Promaster van right now and unfortunately we don’t think it will be easy or possible to find a new Promaster City since they’ve been discontinued. We hope to start a new van conversion in the spring but aren’t sure what it will be yet.

Absolutely right. We bring a short length of vinyl tubing which attaches to the barb fitting output so there is a convenient option to drain at a dumping station.
