Chris Willis He felt pressured to win Evo for the third time while being sponsored by Madcatz. I do feel that your statement said is quite true. Though Evo during the early days, not so many Japanese players come to US tournaments. Mago to me is a disappointment because during Daigo's prime, he was one of few who could beat Daigo with his Emperor Sagat during Gods Garden. Fuudo was able to beat Daigo in France with his own Ryu. There is still more to come. There was a statement that Punk leveled a lot of players up. Currently the best Street Fighter team is Echo Fox.
currently watching this video because my dad said gaming isn't the same anymore. then he explained why arcade fighting games revolutionized the gaming world and told me about the legend daigo. recently have been learning how to play sf4 and appreciate the old street fighters while my dad forces me to use a arcade stick. Because people paint him as some sort of hero or god which is already pretty ridiculous but when you add on the fact that he hasn't really been showing any results in recent years it's understandable that people start getting irritated. I don't think most people who you think hate him really hate daigo himself, more so hate the people who constantly suck his cock.
the guy has been at the top since the 90s and while not getting many first places as he did, he still manages to win a tournament here and there. so he IS a hero and a god in this community

And some people hates him. IDK wtf their reason is.
not many people actually hate him. more likely they're trolling to make other people mad, because trolls.
Because people paint him as some sort of hero or god which is already pretty ridiculous but when you add on the fact that he hasn't really been showing any results in recent years it's understandable that people start getting irritated.
I don't think most people who you think hate him really hate daigo himself, more so hate the people who constantly suck his cock.
he has fans. he's also doing just fine. the day he doesn't qualify for capcom cup is the day he's 'not showing any results'.
the guy has been at the top since the 90s and while not getting many first places as he did, he still manages to win a tournament here and there. so he IS a hero and a god in this community
jealousy!! That guy have some unreal Skill on fighting game! hes a legend!
We could say daigo did comeback
When's the story of Alex Valle? love this series
LEGEND
"If you keep choosing the path that looks safe ultimately that becomes a dead end" absolutely love how mentally improved overseas players are compared to u.s players.. thats what will make them always the best theres so mentally developed its fucking insane
OK, I think the commentary of this vid may be wrong @9:35 - 9:40. Justin did not use Rufus in the Grand Final match, Daigo beat Justin's Abel before Justin switched to Balrog (Boxer)
This guy is basically an old retired master. Not as capable as he was in his prime, but he can still hold his own and mainly passes his wisdom to others.
mad respect for both they paved way for Fighting game on limelight
Daigo made a real life comeback
It seems very difficult to break the record for his instantaneous maximum wind speed.
