Just got another OXO salad spinner at the thrift store for $2.25 plus 90% off since it was kitchen stuff that was 90% off that day. I bought it to gift someone at work who talked about getting one. ❤ she was super excited and thankful!
All hail the meal prep queen! I just love these videos and get so inspired to meal prep since I have a full time job and two young kids at home. It really helps save money and calories when you cook at home and I love getting ideas from your videos. Keep up the great work!
Your tip re lemon juice in salad washing worked FANTASTIC...kept my lettuce fresh an entire week...thanks! A tip for you is to let your bananas ripen to the stage that you like them, then put them in a plastic bag & store in the fridge. They will STAY at that stage for over a week, honest! The skin may darken but inside remains fresh. Your kids may eat them up faster than I can, but it has really saved me from making banana bread again & again because they got too ripe! Also, apples give off ethylene gas & thus cause other fruits to ripen faster. Works great if you’ve got green bananas, but not if you don’t want them to get too ripe, too fast. LOVE< LOVE> LOVE your channel! 👍🥰
Being a Massachusetts girl, I never put celery in my chowda.. bacon or a slab of salt pork to start your base. Then onion, garlic, chicken broth diced potato, clam juice, fresh husked steamer clams, heavy cream and float a couple PATS of butter on top 😀
Love love love your meal prep videos! Actually, I love all of your videos! That salmon looked delicious! I would love to have your "final" clam chowder recipe. I know you put in less celery, but did you end up making any other changes? I find it so peaceful watching you cook! Thanks for sharing!
How long do you spend on meal prep? I love love meal prep but I have noticed that I have been shying away from it lately because it takes about 4 - 5 hours to prep breakfast, lunch, and dinners (I don't completely cook dinners but go ahead and chop things, get things marinading, or assemble casseroles).
I loved Home Chef when I used to get it! I have a family of 6 but I ordered the 2 people dinners because I'd make it on special nights for hubs and I lol! Do you do the 4 person? Do your kids enjoy the meals? I've been eyeing Kimmys recipe!
I have the same stove you do. I just got it but maybe we can knowledge me on the stove. There are two bake buttons, one conventional and one regular. What’s the difference? I never know which button to hit. Thank you so much.
Home Chef is definitely interesting, especially for a work lunch prep. At $4.95 per serving, that’s about the same price as my hospital cafeteria charges per entree. Home Chef would definitely taste better 😳
Try Green Chef if you haven't before. I found them better than Home Chef. The portions are bigger and the recipes aren't as fussy. I hope you didn't throw away the broccoli stems. 😣
You use so much water to wash your produce. The level of water wastage actually pains me 😣 Other than that, I do actually really like your meal prep videos.

I love that you are watching Jia while doing your meal prep! You two should rule the world! Lol
Wanted to let you know that I put my grapes (still on the vine) in the Oxo spinner and the spinner took most of them off the vine for me. 🍇
Great tip! Will try this!
You were watching Jia from Marriage and Motherhood! I love her channel too! Everything looks awesome!
I decided to give Home Chef a try. I know I want to get back into cooking more and not eating out as much so this will help. Can’t wait to try it!
Thanks for the informative videos. I am not a cook in any way, but you make me want to give it a go.
Now I am starving!!! Love watching your videos!
Thanks so much for the salad spinner...it was one of my Christmas presents! Yay!!! Thanks so much for your helpful suggestions!

Great idea for all of us that love to cook but get into recipe ruts!! I may have to try home chef!!
I've made clam chowder for years. Add the clams at the very last moment, otherwise, they become tough.
That looks yummy!! Great hack with the foil that way you can transfer it without touching the other food! Genius!! Lol.
Great video! I fell off the wagon big time over the holidays and have been buying my lunch. Definitely need to get back to meal prepping!
Definitely trying the Clam Chowder Soup 💞💞💞💞
I love these videos. I’ve learned so much.
Everything looks amazeballs!!!

Hi Jen, how do you clean your wood countertop?
I scrub it with lemon and coarse salt, and wipe with a hot rag

I hope you didn't throw away the broccoli stems. 😣
Also, didn't the fish smell fishy when heating it up at work? I am always wary of bringing seafood for lunch since it's taboo in the workplace
I just heat it up and if someone complains, eh. Whatever. Mostly no one does 😜
You could eat it cold....make it more of a buddha bowl.
Clam chowder link says unavailable:( can post recipe for guidelines:)
Search she’s in her apron clam chowder
