I love that you use vinegar or lemon water to clean the produce. I'm like you, even if it says it's been triple washed, I wash it again, so important and especially if you can't afford all organic produce you need to wash off the dirt and any pesticides. You appear tireless in your prep, your family is very lucky to have you.
By far the best meal prepping woman on YT! I have now watched this video all the way through for the 3rd time, taking notes, making plans for my own meal prep this week. You are one hardworking momma! Thank you so much for sharing and inspiring me to get my behind in gear!
Hell yeah! I have been binge watching Jen all morning. I have been writing things down from recipes to kitchen tools and such. Jen is the bomb.com!💣 She has definitely been a blessing to me. Shout out to my homegirl Tiff from B&B.....she's a good one too! Both of these ladies are badass!💜
Just got off a 12 hour shift in the ER and love to watch your videos to unwind! Also happen to be eating the eggs cups you make! So glad I found this channel! 💗
You always blow me away with your prep! Just a tip, I hate onion in my meatloaf also. I grate the onion because it adds more flavor than powdered and it keeps it super moist.
Love salmon and that mango salsa sounds really good with it. I really like that you make unusual fresh dressings and marinades instead of throwing in plain every day bottled stuff.
That Greek Salad and Dressing sounds amazing! A quick tip for de-seeding those Roma tomatoes: Cut the tomato in half and scoop out the seeds with a teaspoon. It will leave you with the outer thickness of the tomato which can be easily chopped and won't give off so much liquid. Thanks for another great video Jen!
I love love love your prep videos. I have been learning a lot from these videos and have incorporated the tips and tricks into my monthly prep. ty so much.
I just recently discovered your channel and have been binge watching all your old videos. Love your methods! I have that OXO salad spinner but rarely used it and when I did, it was usually just for prepping lettuce. I’ve pulled it out of storage and have been using it almost daily now to prep as well as using vinegar to soak and wash my produce. Great tips! Thanks!
Nice! I Enjoy your videos .. so many great tips.. I'm using lemons and vinegar when I prep produce now.. I've used them in my house cleaning for years... why it never occurred to me to use it with cleaning my produce who knows..lol.... so thanks!
Love your detail family keto meal prep. Been looking for different meals that the whole family will love too. Trying to eat healthy but it’s hard cooking for me and them, so I ❤️ your family friendly meals
Love your meal prep videos. I really need to start doing this. I find myself scrambling @ in the morning before work & not having time to pack my lunch. Publix has those glass Pyrex bowls BOGO this week if you live near one. Thx for the inspiration.
I ended up ordering some of those snack boxes from amazon right before Christmas. We LOVE them! I like just finding random stuff in the fridge that needs to get used up and putting in there.....trail mix, different cheeses, etc. It really seems to help with less food waste in our house if it's all in that little cute box!
The Mahi burgers from Trader Joe’s are delicious. You can make fish tacos with them or you can make them as fish burgers. With bread, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles ect. They are a good alternative to beef burgers. Yes they are bland but you have to dock them up.
Hi Jen...I love watching your meal prep videos so much! I haven’t done meal prepping and when I searched UA-cam for tips, I came across your channel and it’s my fav to watch. You give me the motivation and confidence to do it. Thank you ☺️
I like to add veggies to my meatloaf but I have to chop them fine and sauté them first. I usually do onion, celery and maybe some red pepper. I would also add a little carrot when my boys were young because they were no where near the good veggie eaters that yours are so I would hide them in everything I could. They always thought the carrots were cheese. LOL This worked until my youngest started hating cheese. Oh well. The veggies do make it extra moist and yummy but for my taste they have to be sautéed and cooled. Great video. Have a great weekend. It’s actually cold here in N Florida tonight, the med 30’s. Brrrr, had to trade in the flip flops for closed toe shoes. Haha Btw, I loved your Nike leggings you had on in a video, found some online and they came today ( just in time for the cold snap) Super comfy! My new favorite thing! Thanks:)
Meal Prep QUEEN!!!! You're amazing! Love these videos, I actually LIVE for them! I got an Instant Pot and the Multi Cooker for Christmas...love watching all of your ideas!!!!
I am Vegan; but I've been interested in your meal prep ideas and SOME of your great recipes; you know being Vegan and all !!!!! I have been trying to Veganize your meal preps and your recipes or at least get inspo! Thank you for all your hard work!
I always try and save leftover chicken or turkey, if it's enough for soup, that works. If it's a small amount, I make the kids quesadillas later with it.
Loving your videos Jen! I really look forward to seeing your new uploads. You are my inspiration to do more meal prep...even though there’s only my husband and me, I also work as a nurse assistant and am on call. Having a meal I can take from the fridge also stops me buying unhealthy food from the work cafe. Love and hugs from Australia 🇦🇺
Those citrus rinds make a great garbage disposal cleaner/freshener. (I always put my limes from my gin and tonics down the old disposal) Smells great when you grind them up! Thanks for your videos. I always enjoy them!
I use vinegar to clean chicken and other meats but i never thought about it for produce until i saw this video and just so happen i tried it and omg the residue that came off i was impressed and this is an affordable way rather than buying a fruit and veggie cleaner spray 👍
Ok,I just put on my list the mango salsa and the orzo salad 😍 job well done Jen! TFS ♥️oh shit,I wanted to recommend the roasted garlic in jar,I find it at my Hy-Vee in produce,I love it and it's not like you put it could in at the beginning of cooking process like the regular, but can go at the end,or I've slapped it on cold pizza,or on sandwich in the Mayo,I'm sure you catch my drift 😂it's a garlic lover's dream.
Just a tip: cut your mango as close to the pit as possible then separate the skin from the meat by using a glass cup! Just slide the cup between the skin and meat and bam one mango peeled quickly and easily!! Love your videos!! 🤓🤓💕
Murphy sighting when you were slicing cheese lol.....i make my meatloaf just like yours..no chunky veggies lol.....thanks again for all you do i love your videos and your furry friend💖💖💖
I absolutely love your videos; you're such an inspiration and a great mom.. I have an xo salad spinner that never used before until I started watching your videos. Lol..
Come mid February i buy 150 lbs of hamburger from my local butcher. I do this every year. Put in my deep freeze in the garage. Best way to go. Big money up front, but worth not worrying about later.
Try using a vegetable peeler to peel the mango, then cut the big pieces off, then dice it up. You will not lose so much of the mango that way! #justatip
I love these videos. They're always so motivating to do my own meal prep for the week. Also, I'm always amazed when you mention what Connor (Conner?) likes to eat. He has a really adult palate for his age. You're definitely raising those kids right!
You are the Bomb! Just watching you made tired! How long does it take you to meal prep? I want to try meal planning but not sure it will work how do I get started?
Thanks for sharing. I finally made egg bites they were incredible. you had done a chicken salad i a while ago with grapes in it and it was incredible I had it for lunch today 😸
Love this prep video! I've tried a couple of different fish burgers and a Southwest style chicken burger at Trader Joe's...all fails. 😩 Most of their stuff is pretty good, but I steer clear of those things!
This is my first time seeing you in a apron. I love it. Im definitely trying the salmon recipe. I have been to get my salmon tasty and moist. It always comes out dry and not favorable.
Hey Jennifer this is Diana T . I was wondering if you know where Council Bluffs Sioux City Whiting Iowa was at? That is where a lot of my family were from ,sadly most of them have pasted away. A couple of years ago we went to find the grave markers. We enjoyed going through all the small towns what history. Just thought I would tell ya that.😜
I love baking bacon! It's so much easier than frying in the fry pan. Hey if you grate the onion into the meatloaf they melt into the meatloaf as it bakes so no texture. The only drawback is you cry a little bit more. Great video as always.😀PS I wash my own produce too, no machine will do as good a job as I will. PPS stay away from pre-sliced mushrooms they're full of dirt.
Hey Jen love your videos. Have a question, my family of 3 is starting on keto but my husband drive truck and be gone m-th home on Friday night, son in college and he come home QOD. How can I fix salads to last all week
Do you reheat your salmon when you eat it for lunch? Or do you eat it cold? I am not a huge fan of re-heated meat and I was wondering how it would taste.
Another great video as always. I'm so happy I came across your channel. Love seeing Murphy also. Do you make any homemade dog treats for him? Have you thought about sharing more instant pot recipes?
I love my food saver! The mango salsa also looks really good- did it taste better after a couple of days in the fridge, or did it not last that long in the house? 😊
Great video as always! Were you not a fan of the lettuce knife? I knew you had gotten one but haven't seen you use it. I was wondering if it was worth it to get one or not. TFS!
I love your videos! It's some of the better, real life meal prep videos I've seen! I'm new to your channel and was wondering about some of your portion sizes. Like the salmon for example. To me it looks like enough for 2 adults, however I know you also have two children. Do they not eat it? Or, is the portion larger than I think? You've probably answered this type of question before. Sorry. Just curious. I cook for 5-6 people so that's probably why it looks so small to me, lol.
I love that you made a jar of the orzo salad for your friend who’s going vegan for the month of January, but the dressing you had for the salad had honey in it which is not actually vegan friendly! Loved the video though!
Your meal prep videos are by far my favourite. Bit bummed as I watch this in the early morning before work because I have nothing prepped to take for lunch today 😂. It’s super cold out as well so I won’t much feel like a walk to go get food. Maybe I’ll be able to convince a friend to come with and we’ll go somewhere nice. Otherwise, it’s subway salad for me lol.

Oh my gosh 3 times! 😀 thank you!
Angela Mullis Totally Agree.
shes not the only one! haha I watch most of your videos multiple times too!
I totally agree. I have to try her orzo salad in a jar for my guys. Love the snack ideas. Never thought of prepping snacks other that baking.

Love these videos. There is something relaxing about what meal prep and chopping food.
I can relate. My kids demolish anything I prep or bake off. I'm happy about it, but gracious LOL! Thanks for the ideas!

Your knife skills always amaze me! Also I love watching the beasties too😊
Yayyyyy!!! Morning made! Hope you have a wonderful day!
I wonder if u can use quinoa instead of orzo
Yes for sure!
Was thinking the same!
This is my first time seeing you in a apron. I love it. Im definitely trying the salmon recipe. I have been to get my salmon tasty and moist. It always comes out dry and not favorable.
Great meal prep!! Orzo salad sounds good!

Yes! That’s on the other side of the state from me :)
Is salantroe.... Coriander in the Uk? Love your egg bites X
Yes coriander :)

Yes I reheat it.
Love your channel! I give it a thumbs up even before I watch the video lol 👍🏽
How long do you cook meatloaf and what temperature?
Start at 400 for 40 mins and go from there :)
How does your butcher block get cleaned/sanitized?
Another great video as always. I'm so happy I came across your channel. Love seeing Murphy also. Do you make any homemade dog treats for him? Have you thought about sharing more instant pot recipes?
Yes I can do more IP recipes! I made homemade dog treats before I had kids 😜
I can't wait to see the videos. You are a true inspiration! I don't know how you find the time or energy to do everything you do.
My favorite type of video!!
I love my food saver! The mango salsa also looks really good- did it taste better after a couple of days in the fridge, or did it not last that long in the house? 😊
I finished it today! Yes it gets better as it sits :)
I'm a new subber...why do you use the vinager when washing fruit? Love your videos!
There is research that is helps kill bacteria and it is ingestible. Thank you!
Love your meal prep!
Love your channel. I am learning so much. Ty😍😍😍
Great video as always! Were you not a fan of the lettuce knife? I knew you had gotten one but haven't seen you use it. I was wondering if it was worth it to get one or not. TFS!
I didn’t really think it made a difference
@@Jen-Chapin Thanks!
Looks delicious!! I no longer buy my lettuce pre-packaged because of Jen and the Meatloaf is totally getting ready to happen! 😋😋😋❤😘
Haha thank you Courtney!!
I love your oil, olive dispenser. Where did you get it? Do you have a link.

It’s definitely larger than it looks!
i'm following you for meal ideas we love cooking something easy
Yr the best Jen I luv all your ideas!!!
I just love your videos. That’s all!
Thank you!!
The mango salsa sounds delish!!
How do you think the Mango Salsa would be without the Cilantro? I am one of the people who cilantro tastes like soap to...
Why splash of vinegar
I love that you made a jar of the orzo salad for your friend who’s going vegan for the month of January, but the dressing you had for the salad had honey in it which is not actually vegan friendly! Loved the video though!
I realized that after I made it for her! She is not strict vegan though so I didn’t feel too bad :)
Otherwise, it’s subway salad for me lol.
denicekimberly subway salads are good!
They really are and pretty reasonably priced - especially with the amount you get. My friend and I did go for lunch tho. Had a ‘Popeye Salad’ which, no surprise here, is spinach based. It was excellent. I’m sitting in bed now meal planning and filling my grocery delivery cart so that I’m not caught without lunches for the week lol
One of my very favorite people on UA-cam!
I can't imagine all that prep.....just curious, about how many hours did all take you? You're amazing!
Probably 3-4 hours, I love being in the kitchen though!!
Hey Jen. Do you have a recipe for chicken tortilla soup? Love your videos.
I have used Ina Garten’s recipe before, it’s good!
