Thank you so much for this just bought this for my mam for mother's day as she's always frustrated with her old one and this video was just what I needed, thank you my man!
This is great. I hope I can do something similar in my American pick up truck. Didn’t really understand the fuse box stuff but I’m sure I’ll work it out. Thanks!
All rite mate ‘Don’t know if you want to put a bit of a warning notice on the video , but just looked at the manufacturers instructions and it says “DO NOT PLUG THE POWER CABLE INTO THE USB SOCKET ON THE CAMERA ITSELF AS THIS CAN CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE’ as I noticed you said it was optional to use the one on the camera or on the windscreen mount to plug the power cable into
Good video mate’ funny enough just bought the exact same dash cam from Aldi last night and I’m looking to fit it in my motorhome this morning,is the dash cam still ok to come on when the parking sensor is activated with just a switch live connection ? Dose it rely on battery power when the ignition is switched off and how log will the battery power last in that way ?
That little black cable that has an ending which looks like a fork - in the video you said you find a suitable place for it. Mind me asking exactly what you mean by that? Do you plug it in anywhere specifically? Cheers
@@dashcamarmagh thank you. I followed a combination of a load of tutorial videos and have fitted that now. It all works totally fine - but just wondering. What exactly it does? Does any electric run through it into that bolt I screwed it to?
The problem I having with mine is its Constant power all the time I did it in my range rover no problem but my audi doesn't want cut the power I only have a small number of fuse to work with.
Had mine installed by Halford from their mobile technicians to get it hardwired for parking mode. I think they done it wrong the camera switches off with ignition and there no power blue light on camera to say its being powered by car battery, 2hrs later the camera battery was almost empty, and car had 12.8 v and these thing cut off at 11.4 v. Can someone confirm it before I take it back to them. FYI Toyota Rav4 2015 nextbase 622gw camera front & back.
If you look the video was posted last year in January, which he is sat in the car for over 15 minutes breathing you doughnut, if you ain’t aware January is cold, if you haven’t got anything nice or supportive to say keep your fucking comments to your self ✌️
Love your no bullshite video, an informative video showing a normal person who also has a car in need of hoovering.

Thanks Man like Liam. I watched vid before I started pulling fuses out. They charging £50 for fitting now. Shocking!
Straightforward video 👍
Seen that the other day. Shocking. Might start fitting them for people for about £20
@@dashcamarmagh if you was only closer. I’ve got to wait 3 weeks for my fitting in Sheffield
@Joy Smith Jesus Christ that’s a joke, you not feel comfortable doing it yourself?
@@dashcamarmagh no I don’t it’s the fuse bit that scares the bedazzle out of me lol.

It's easy bruv. Just put the fuse in the converter box ,plug it back in the fuse slot and then ground it.
Well explained!
Good video matey, cheers.
Need to find which is the hot side before putting the fuse adapter in.
Cheers mate, v helpful indeed. Got myself a 2009 Corsa. Would I be able to hardwire a dashcam, as well as installing reversing cameras etc?

It’s a grounding point. You typically loosen a bolt on the car. Place that behind it and tighten it

you can get a Nextbase Dash Cam Polarising Filter which cuts out reflection from the dashboard and makes the picture clearer
It only works when you are at certain angles to the sun. Doesn't work all the time.
Careful with wires if you have airbag in your A pillar

Why does mine show a locked padlock when first starting to drive off please
Van valakinek ilyen kameraja? Jol filmez? Megeri venni 1 ilyent?
I got the SD card that the instructions say and it wont format the card. Shocking company making you waste money on products that don't even work
Hey.. Clean your windows.. damn, thats nasty.
