Hey,can you please explain to me the career paths available for someone doing business science in economics with law.i would love to step to the business world,talk to ppl about entrepreneurship,and how they could bring profit to they business and have my own businesses but I don't know whether this is the right degree to take.
Hey Aphiwe, there are lots of different ways you can get to the career goal you specify here - ie. business consulting. A business degree is generally considered here, but it’s by no means the only way. If you want to have run your own business consulting company it’s more about being able to get people the results they want than the course you do. I recommend having a read of ‘The Personal MBA’ to help you learn more about the careers available with and without an MBA :)
Ello Lauren, I'm a young man and l want to take part in the business Sciences but l just don't know what to follow, l need advice on which Business Science program is good for example is it Accounting, or actuarial science or finance etc l need help
Hey Tatenda, great question! It’s a fast growing area and it’s a bit confusing to understand the career pathway that will get you where you want to go. To understand what to study, it would be worth taking a look at the kind of work you’re interested in doing. Perhaps a good place to start would be to search for content on what it’s like to have a job in roles like a data scientist, a business consultant and a product designer. Then once you have a better idea of what you want to do, work backwards from there to understand what to study to acquire that kind of job. Hope that helps! Ps. There’s a website you may find really helpful for this - it’s called Balance the Grind, they have lots of interviews with people who work in business with an appreciation for science and entrepreneurship :)
@@HolisticADHDCoach Hey Lauren, l went through some research and l think l with go for a Bachelor of Business Science degree in Finance, but the issue is which university will l go to because l love in Zimbabwe and the university in here ain't that good at Business Sciences. University of KwaZulu-Natal in South Africa or an other university in the UK is an option but my family got no funds so I'm at stuck
