If you laminate the value scale you can wipe off the paint and it won’t ruin your chart. Just hole punch the holes.

Thanks so much for this demo and the explanation. I recently bought the scale value and it is very helpful. I had the Munsell book and I gave it away to someone who needed it. I bought a new one and I’m ready to set it up and use it. At the moment I’m painting portraits, a big challenge but my weakness is painting roses. A big challenge for me but thanks to you I’m learning a better approach. I’m catching up with the videos as fast as I can and making time to practice. I love the video with the toilet paper roll, worth the try. You are a wonderful instructor with so much knowledge and life experience. I truly appreciate you. Blessings and take care.

Thank you Paul! this is so cool, it's like Values for Dummies ;-) I did buy that valuescale after your Rose exercise (Thanks for the tip!) and with this video you really explane how easy it is to use the scale. I don't work from pictures, (are 2D and reallife is 3D) I put a small stil life for real and I find it very hard to adjust the right chroma and value. This video motivates me to keep on doing the practise. Thank you!!!! I enjoy this colormixing serie :-)
