This was a great video. Thank you for making it it’s helpful. My husband and I will be there in a few days and it’s our first time staying in Summerlin or anywhere off the strip TBH. We figured we would try it in the winter months instead of in the summer since we like to stay on the strip typically really looking forward to it.

That is definitely an upgraded room, more like a suite. The basic rooms are still pretty nice. This is a great resort with lots of dining options on site and nearby. The shopping next door is a great option, I do like to walk in that area. At this point I would rather stay at Red Rock than the Las Vegas Strip.

I completely agree Red Rock Casino at this point, puts the Strip to the Rip Off it is.
@@mreppen1 and, I could take a cab to the newer Durango casino for the same amount it would cost to go from one end of the Strip to the other end.

It doesn’t have anything special that would be worth a 20 minute Uber from the strip, but it’s definitely one of the nicer casinos that cater to the locals.

Excellent tour Jay it was very extensive, and you showed it all concerning this resort. I didn't know it linked into downtown, so that's cool.😎😎😎😎 Staying off strip at one of the luxury resorts is the way to go next time I'm in Las vegas. I'll be crashing at this place. Hi Jay , wow that’s quite a place dude I’m in the Uk I’ve been to a few places in the USA but never been to Vegas before but hopefully get there one day I’d certainly love to go somewhere like red rock I can’t imagine so much under one roof sorta thing amazing and the food choices are incredible ! Hanging with some gorgeous ladies to you lucky devil 👍

Great review Jay! It’s been a minute since I stayed there and it’s a stunning off-Strip resort. When it first opened the BBQ place was a Salt Lick and actual Texas BBQ. It was great when I ate there and was like the one in Austin I ate at. Sadly it wasn’t appreciated and failed. Lucille’s is nice, we have them in SoCal and a better than average place but no Salt Lick. I love the look of Onyx, hasn’t changed. My room was a normal King room and more than decent. Yours was amazing! Lucky Penny is a Station brand and I know Green Valley has one. Nice basic coffee shop diner. You had some delicious looking food and guest. Mommy G would approve. ❤ I thoroughly enjoyed joining you on this Jaycation!

@@Jaycation On a flight pass through Austin. There’s one in the terminal! I believe it’s still there. I spent a lot of time in TX around the turn of the century. I was a traveling IT guy and we had multiple offices around TX. Such great food but I wouldn’t go now, too much hate going on there.

Hotel looks gorgeous and I love the location especially since I like going to Red Rick Canyon, but a scale in the bathroom. The last thing I think about on vacation is lbs. Especially with all the food I eat in Vegas. Plus everyone knows that calories don’t count when you are on vacation 😂

$149 -999.99, depending on events in the area for basic 2 bedroom, not the suite he was comped
Really depends gotta look at the rate calendar
the room you got is not the basic room, which would cost more $$ for the suite you got
and if you are on the mountainside or poolside, which a DJ plays late til 4am, so some people cannot sleep,fyi

I stayed here like 6 years ago. I like it, but the hotel hallway was so long that I felt like I was walking a mile to get from my room to the elevator. But you forgot to mention that they have a Lotus of Siam. They also have really low limits, 3:2 blackjack at only $10 a hand and pretty high payback percentages.
He did briefly show Lotus of Siam at about 4:18.

Red rock Is a casino that Dana white is always at since it’s one of the few casinos he’s allowed to gamble since he’s a good gambler that always wins. He’s been kicked out at the palms and other casinos on the strip for being too good
