Bruhhhh you know how long I’ve looked for another ftm who’s around 5’2 for YEARS I even thought of making my own UA-cam videos cuz so many ppl ask me too ughhhh aaaaaaa I’m so glad bub. Thank you
As an also adopted Asian ftm just starting T (not even a month on yet 😂) this channel is gold ahh especially since any racial representation really beside caucasian doesn't seem to show on social media so THANK YOU FOR EXISTING AND FOR DOING THESE HAHA
0:33 I wheezed lmao. But god its nice to see another ACTUALLY short transguy, I barely am 5' 1 and clothes shopping sucks cause its all either too small cause I'm stalky and broad backed or too big and makes you look all stubby. I found that wranglers usually fit if you're a bit thicker, all you have to do is hem the bottom. I love shorts for the same reason you do lol, they don't tend to squeeze anything and if you wear the right size, they'll make you look taller. And who knew there were so many ways to tuck in a shirt
All other ftm channel I’ve seen are white like 5’5 or taller guys and there channels are great no hate, but sometimes it’s it a lot easier too see someone you can relate to
For short guys who don't want to shop kids, I'd recommend American Eagle, Hollister, or Aeropostale. Basically most brands aimed towards teen (preppy) guys. Their inseams go down to 28" on most pants (my length as a 5'1" guy) and it's a real lifesaver for me. Also look at Asian/Hispanic brands cause the guys from these countries tend to be shorter than those in US/Europe
"don't button up the last button." YES. I used to do this when I was female presenting and I definitely radiated lesbian vibes. I tried to do it after coming out and actively trying to pass and it Did. Not. Help. Immediate lesbian.
I have always hated having the last button buttoned. Unless you are wearing a dress shirt and a tie where you need the collar totally closed,no need don't like. My neck is very easily bothered.
I'm non-binary and just starting social transition, and honestly, even before I knew that, the only button up shirt that fit me, was a boys size 14 from Walmart that I found secondhand. The sleeves are a bit too short, but if I roll them up to be a short sleeved shirt, it fits perfectly everywhere else. I have shoulders too broad to wear most women's clothes without that balloon look, so boys it is. Thrift stores are also great for stuff, because if you still fit kids clothes, it's super cheap as a lot of cis boys will grow out of their teenager clothes, leaving you with better options. And for reference, basically take the last digit from a boy's size (10, 12, 14, 16), and that will the the approximate women's size. Like in women's clothes, I fit size 6, but in boys clothes, I fit 16 (or XL). It's not always accurate, but for those who know they are smaller than a women's 8, it helps.
I’m 5’4 and it’s a struggle .. I only buy pants from one store in the men’s section and I go to other places and buy women’s jeans because nothing fits me ever :(
Shoutout to you because other transmasc videos are like “buy this certain cut of pants” but that doesn’t do anything for me if none of the pants come in a small enough waist size. Fit is one thing, but mens’ pants typically won’t even stay up on me. I’ll probably be sticking to the kid’s section
YALL WILL THANK ME FOR THIS. Look for "baggy jeans" in the women section of ZARA and find the ones that are cropped (i believe theyre the paperbag baggy jeans) if you have thicker thighs and want that slick tapered fit at the ankle but without the pants hugging your every curve you'll love them, they have 7 colours. I'm 5'2 and they're amazing on me.
See Peter Manning NYC website. They cater to shorter guys, and have their own size system. I'm 5'0" and I just order and everything fits without the usual "tailor tax" (paying a tailor). Bit pricey but soooo worth it.
The first tip only works if you’re skinny. If you’re muscular or overweight it won’t work. I’m not jacked, but I have just enough muscle that I could rip a boys size large if I moved around too much.
Man I'd love to follow a lot of these tips but as someone who's very fat AND very short, hardly any of these apply! I can't fit in kid sizes because I'm too big around, men's jeans that fit my stomach/hip area bag so much I look like MC Hammer, and NO SHIRT (unisex or men's!) has the seam at my shoulder. My shoulder seams are always halfway down my arm and the sleeves end below my elbow! But anything smaller won't fit! Not to mention any form of men's shirts always make it half way down my thigh or lower when makes me look like a tiny little bag man. XD Ahhh when will companies learn that short, fat people exist!
Not sure of your sizes, but try Peter Manning NYC. They have their own sizing system for the less taller guys. I just order and everything fits without the usual "tailor tax" (having to pay a tailor to fix my clothes). I'm 5'0" so I know the hardship of finding fitted clothing-especially with the trends out now. Good luck.
hi! I would love to talk and share a bit w you if possible bout this, i feel like my height has stopped me from transition, justifying myself w random weird concepts that probably just make sence in my own head, and in that specific second. they are probably also just a consequence of internalized transfobia, as if my identity wouldnt be valid because of my height, but if i would be taller, it would be fine? maybe like as if people would never see me in that way. hope you can help me w what you have been trough
Feel free to hit me up on instagram. I may not be able to help you with a lot of what you described but I can at least give you my perspective as a 5ft trans male adult who passes and is just going about my life at this point
I wish I could wear tank tops but I don't have enough money for top surgery yet and I still have a chest .. :( mabye one day I hope... I hope I can be flat in the future
I see a dude but the mannerisms are girly. Interesting.. But otherwise I see just a really cool dude who I can absolutely see myself shooting the sheet with I know this isn’t a compliment and shouldn’t be taken as such merely just an expression of an observation I hope that all these years after your transition that you are in a happy healthy place maybe you’ll do an update one day Regarding the video it’s self Great Practical advice and presentation I found it helpful and gave some good ideas that I can personally use thanks for that🤝
Bruhhhh you know how long I’ve looked for another ftm who’s around 5’2 for YEARS I even thought of making my own UA-cam videos cuz so many ppl ask me too ughhhh aaaaaaa I’m so glad bub. Thank you
I’m semi in closet bc my parents won’t let me transition (age 17) and I’m 5’3 so I struggle with it too
Same here!
same here I'm 5"1
5’2” TRANSMEN UNITE!
As a 152 cm trans guy, I appreciate this so much, thankyou!. Those tips for "short guys who are actually 5'9" are always frustrating
Im a 5”1 trans guy and I relate to this video so much
As an also adopted Asian ftm just starting T (not even a month on yet 😂) this channel is gold ahh especially since any racial representation really beside caucasian doesn't seem to show on social media so THANK YOU FOR EXISTING AND FOR DOING THESE HAHA
This makes me so excited! I'm glad my weird videos are helping you, haha
Im an adopted Chinese dude here but my parents won’t let me present like a male
It's cool that we're all short I've never met a trans dude over 5'4 so we're chilling

Gawd, I have the same issue. Short, stocky problems. And thanks for the recommendation! I'll definitely check that out.
Im 4’ 11” pre everything and I’m not thin so I don’t fit into kids section plus I’m built athletically so my legs don’t fit into jeans correctly
All other ftm channel I’ve seen are white like 5’5 or taller guys and there channels are great no hate, but sometimes it’s it a lot easier too see someone you can relate to
"Clothing is hard! 😖" Super relatable!
I am 5'2" cis guy here ...

5'1 newbie here. Height, penis envy and hip size kept me from acknowledging my dysphoria/making the leap out of fear from never passing.
fools I am 4'10"
I'm 146 cm(4'9" for you)
Same 😅😂
i literally just came out as trans yesterday. im also 5’3 lol. this is really helpful and makes me feel a lot better.
Yesss!! Finally!! I’m 153cm and ftm too! This vid was made for me lmao Thank you so much! 🙏

Bruh I have dysphoria about my height (5’4. 5’5 with shoes) this is helpful
Ey same!
I’m 5’4 and it’s a struggle .. I only buy pants from one store in the men’s section and I go to other places and buy women’s jeans because nothing fits me ever :(
Boys jeans might

I’m 5’1 already one of the shortest girls on my year... and now I think I’m trans 😃😬😅

Michael's shirts represent! They're not the highest quality, but they work!
pants are the hardest thing to find cause my waist is like in men’s 34 but my ideal length would be a 29 and i can’t find any 😭

No, for sure. Are there any alternatives you suggest? Any clothing brands or stores with larger widths but shorter lengths?
omg are you a dancer! im a short trans guy (completely in the closet tho) and a dancer i feel so seen rn
I was always worried about my height (160cm) but in my country (Ecuador) I have seen cis men who are shorter than me...
This is the video I need in my life! Thanks for your tips :)
I'm just suffering
I'll never be able to be like an adult and it feels horrible and worthless
@Sikent I am and will always be a man .. how society treats short guy differently is not my fault.
@Sikent people can't help being trans
I’m 4’9.....yep...

Omg I feel ur pain. Watching this in the kohls parking lot rn… 5’0 wish me luck Lol
That does sound extra hard :( have you tried kids’ “husky” sizes? I know Lands end and some Walmart brands make them
Bro I’m a 36 year old 4’11 trans masculine gender-fluid person and I literally started wearing kids clothes but I’m fine with it. It’s all good.

I'm also a short trans man. But I'm chunky so I have big man boobs as well. It's so hard to find nice clothes that fit well and that help me pass.
