I know it's April Fools BUT creating a "What not to do" video is actually helpful as much as the other videos. It gives the viewers a Scale on What to avoid doing and What to do with their fashion statements.

Bonus step: always wear clothing that matches your skin tone, especially trousers. This will make anyone not paying attention do a frantic double take and ensure they look at you more closely in fear of you being naked. This works especially well with the tight clothing step!

i hope this is actually part of the april fools joke, because sometimes even if a cloth compliments your skin tone, it doesn't always look bad. for example brown clothes on more fair skin, will usually still look good.

Funny video. The layering gag brought a chuckle. And props for the shot outside the store with the window mannequin.
On a separate note, point number 8 about confidence is worth unpacking. Hope this resonates with, helps someone out there.
IMO ‘confidence’ isn’t something we ought to aspire to put on like we put on a t-shirt. You can put it on but IMO it will always feel like it’s a mask you’re putting on. There’s no “fake it til you make it” because in this instance there is no threshold when sufficient faking accrues and we cross over some magical tipping point.
“Being confident” is IMO besides the point. And even if it is, why tightly constrain ourselves to just one emotional state? Why colour our lives with just one crayon when the whole palette is right there for us to play, to create with?
IMO forget about “confidence”. In lieu, just focus on coming into a sense of being where we are in touch with our experiences, our emotions, our personal histories, our gifts. A sense of being where we have a love ethic to fluently both give and receive love. A sense of being where we invite, welcome, co-create interdependence. A sense of being where we know we are home, where through it all come hell or high water, we’ll listen to faintest of light, of courage, of tenacity to choose to show up if it’s the last damn thing we do in this life.

"100 rejections challenge." That's it. Or something even simpler "100 compliments to strangers."
Being confident is key, but becoming confident is a must. So you can be both in love with yourself and still be your own critic.

The best though is to just be fucking muscular or genetically blessed with wide shoulders, wear a tight shirt (prolly not compression) that highlights ur shoulder to waist and biceps, then baggy leggings cos ur legs prolly small. I have no clue how people find tight clothes unappealing , yet they think baggy oversized clothes are aesthetic (ive never seen a average looking person look worse in tight clothes than in oversized/baggy clothes)
I get that people who are out of shape like to hide behind their baggy clothes rather than putting a bit of effort to get in shape. But yall are lying to yourself if you think that baggy clothes will make you look better. The only thing baggy clothes do is make everyone look equally ungly.

I agree except for the tight clothing one. I personally really like tighter tops with a loose bottom, and ofc a big jacket if i wear one. But tight clothing is also just so comfortable, and it creates good contrast between baggy pants and a form-fitting top.

As someone very tall, I envy people who can just buy for looks or off the mannequin, like seriously why is there nothing offered beyond 2XL and oversized clothes stores only have the most basic stuff possible.
Also „just be confident“ is great advice its almost as great as saying „just cheer up“ to a depressed person.
