Somewhere in the top 5. This, here, is a ring general with a high ring IQ, as high as Bret Hart. One of the safest legends that can still go on and pull a classic.

I remember being shocked he beat out the likes of Rock, Austin, Triple H, Shawn, Taker to become the first ever. Understanding how things work now, it makes sense. He's the only one who needed that push at the time
HHH was still out with his leg injury I believe. Otherwise you know he would have demanded Stephanie made it him.
Shawn Michaels wasn't active at the time.

I love Jericho , he has all the tools . The look the charisma. The mic skills and ca wrestle . Many greats excel at a couple of these but Chris has it all .

At the time it was still the WWF, it wasn’t until Spring of 2002 that the company was forced to rebrand.

Tbh I didn't watch the PPV for the Undisputed Championshp and when I saw the result on the next Raw Show, I was pretty surprised that Jericho had won it

I was at Vengeance in San Diego....I'll tell you, I parked across the street and on my way back to my car, fans and I saw Booker T as a passenger (probably rental car and unknown driver) stuck in traffic. Booker did the "hand" for us with a huge smile and then said bye. Point is, Booker was still in the arena with Vince and Chris. 😊

For some reason growing up Chris Jericho was my favorite out of Jeff Hardy and RVD (my favs,not my goats) maybe it was because of the charisma,style,attires,and overall skill,now he is definitely my top 5 of all time with him being able to reinvent himself and being able still Perform at his old age
I remember when I won concerts tickets to Fozzy winning a wrestling trivia at WWE New York, I was the sole person to win the trivia ten weeks straight, Shelton Benjamin called me Mr. W restling Trivia as the waiter there that day and said he would be on Raw someday

I remember on monday night raw when he got it in Anaheim i was there live. Lita and matt hardy broke up that day him and jeff hardy had a match against each other it was dope kane entrance was out this world
He’s my favorite of all time! That being said I acknowledge the fact overall many people will not see eye to eye with that comment so I cherish all peoples opinions, I just wonder why some people say not even in the top 100? That automatically throws out any respect for their opinions on anything because I believe even people who can’t stand the guy, lik a lot of close personal friends that I have even have the competence of a brain to admit he’s at least in the top 20. Here’s the thing: while it is a fake title and obtained by scripted means, what isn’t scripted or fake is the amount of hard work and determination that Jericho put into getting even considered for that too position. Those belts are a testament to what you put forward and what people think about you in tha business. Why not a party? Why would you? You’ve got a bunch of guys coveting that position and would knock you down to get there. The party is when you walk out into that arena in front of those 20000 fans and hear them roar their approval. Lonely at the top, yes, but it’s also got it’s awesome points, too.
This was an extremely boring story for what could have been such an interesting topic.
