    Wow, Cecil, I never realized how much these portable units could save you money by charging them with solar and using them instead of a gas-powered generator for your portable needs. Also the convenience and ease of transport of these light units.

    That one is nicer than the one I got. A different model. Thanks for showing it to me because I thought the quality of the unit I have is good. I used mine during the winter right after an ice storm. I need to up my game and get one hooked up to a permanent solar bank.

    Nice unit, not exactly cheap but looks like it would work good when the power does out.

      Hello Harvey, Thank you..we really like it. They are a lot cheaper to operate and cheaper to but than a gasoline or diesel generator up this way. One of the nice things about these units is they will always start when you need them..and you can run them indoors ;-) Oh and they are quiet. Thanks again. You have a great day. Cheers!

    Hey there, brother, great introduction and informative educational video in regards to the pecron, it just so happened that I ordered me the E 2000.
    Which I just got. Yesterday and I'm gonna put it to the test. Bought it to use it in mobile mansion RV. We'll see how it does how it handles the durability of the batteries. I also have the Bluetti AC200MAX. Which it's pretty cool to as well? But I wanna see how the Pecron handles next Bluetti AC200Max.👍

      Hello, thank you very much. I really loved this Peron..but I had to trade it for a truck :-( We still use our Bluetti AC200AX to power our whole house when our solar is low. We have the extra battery for the AC200MAX..that makes a big difference, but I did really love the Pecron :-( You have a great day. Cheers!

    Thanks for your videos of things you do around your off-grid homestead. Very ingenious person Cecil and skillful and crafty being off-grid you have to be able to handle, fix, and repair anything that that comes along and whatever life throws at you. Great vids and great job on the post and beam, pole barn.

      One question. A lot of battery powered items are only able to recharge so many times before they run down to nothing. How many charges do the solar generator capable of.?

    • @rickmccarthy7471
      @rickmccarthy7471 Рік тому

      For example the batteries ina cordless drill or saw can be recharged say 2000 times or whatever.are these the same way ?

    I have a similar unit that I use when I am on the boat, the solar panel keeps it charged and it runs my laptop and charges all my phone tablet and cameras. i persuaded a friend to get one, and she now uses it to run her work laptop at home, saving her from using her own electricity.

    Great video, just received mine. I have a folding 300w panel for camping, 18v. Is it ok to wire this up to the aviation port even though the volts are below 32? Seems like I am over the watts on the 100w port and under the volts on the aviation port.

    • @SkinnersOffGrid
      @SkinnersOffGrid  7 місяців тому

    So how does it compare to all the other solar battery power units you have and which one would you buy Cecil ???

    • @SkinnersOffGrid
      @SkinnersOffGrid  Рік тому +1

      Hello Brian, I really like the fact that this unit is light weight and comes with booster cables. The screen is also very easy to see in the sunlight. But I do wish it had a 30 amp outlet...so there is that, and I can't hook up additional batteries to this one. I do believe they make models that you can though. Hope this helps. Cheers!

    How long can you run the plainer and compresser for?

    • @SkinnersOffGrid
      @SkinnersOffGrid  Рік тому +2

      Hello Carman, we've run the planer for over two hours straight with this and still had lots of battery left..but if I would have hooked up the solar panels to it, we could have ran it all day no problem. Now for the compressor..I've ran it all day as the compressor does not run steady. Hope this helps. You have a great day. Cheers!
