I feel like Scarecrow has never really gotten his due in movies and TV. There's so much that could be done with him, if the producers are willing to go full psycho-thriller, or full gothic.
Well the thing with Hush was he was supposed to be the antagonist of the final game in the Arkham trilogy before it became Arkham knight, the idea being Scarecrow could attack Batman whilst Hush can target Bruce Wayne. And since the Arkham games had just introduced a mass audience to Hugo strange and made him a more well known Batman antagonist, they Presumably wanted to do the same thing for Hush and massively boost his standing amongst Batmans rogues. But then Paul Dini was dropped by Rocksteady and Jason Todd was introduced last minute (alongside ghost joker) into Arkham knight, with Hush getting demoted to a lame side mission! He then offers his mothers live in nurse like 10 million dollars for being kind to his mother and to him and she kist smiles and tells him she did it because she loved his mother not for money and he doesn't understand how to deal with a person who doesnt taunt him, afraid of him or want something from him
