@55:23 wolverine cuts off both Deadpool's guns; @1:27:48 he gets Nice Pool's golden guns. Just realized Deadpool did not use any guns between this time.
In the german dub the whole Johnny Storm scene is even more funny since Chris Evans had a different voice actor in the german dub of the first fantastic four movies and they used the same voice actor from those movies for Johnnys voice. And Deadpool even acknowledges this with a " ....his voice was kinda off!" 😂
I specifically watch the original dub for these kind of jokes that often get lost in translation or plain doesn't have any cultural significance (even worse when they use the localized name instead of the original one). And since Deadpool is all about meta jokes and references (especially this one), it warms my heart to see this kind of care for the localization. I wish the french team had as much
I love these details, similar thing with the Latin American version of the movies, Chris Evans and Ryan Reynolds are voiced by the same voice actor so it was weird listening to them interact and Deadpool says “that voice did not fit him” 😂
I kinda feel that, but I am super confident that the only reason for it was how explosive "My name's Jeff" took off and other similar lines so they probably asked him to play around with as many accents they could muster 😂
@@Kanoog Still 100% Hugh. That felt so personal, where Chris's lines were "done in secrecy." Straight to his face, instead of complaints behind the scenes
Didn't notice until i dropped on Disney+, but the first time Deadpool calls Logan "Peanut" in the film is when he is using his skeleton as a puppet, possibly making this a Jeff Dunham reference. For those who don't know, he's a ventriloquist comedian, and Peanut is one of his most famous puppets.
Another nod is that Deadpool calls him "Mr. PG-13-Except-the-Last-One" is the fact is that Hugh was in 8 PG-13 "X-Men" movies from 2000 all the way to "Apocalypse" and in "Logan", an R-rated flick.
One thing I don’t think anybody has noticed about Thor crying is that he has a scar on his face and his eyes are different colors, basically implicating that the scene takes place post-Infinity War after getting his eye cutout by Hela and then replaced by Rocket
Wade's use of "friendo" in the doorway scene is also a No Country for Old Men reference on the captive bolt pistol look of the TVA soldiers' prune sticks
my mom ended up finding this one... in the montage when Deadpool was searching for a wolverine anchor being and it starts playing "Power of love" he appears in front of the axe board but it's circular enough to compare to the large speaker that Marty blew up. Im not sure if it was intentional but now that's all I think when I see that scene
Mate that is Johnny from the comics, a foul mouthed pretty boy 😂😂😂 like there's a reason he played it so perfectly in the og Fantastic four and if it had an R rating garunte Johnny would have cussed the most lmfao
1:24:08 In the Japanese dub, Wade asks Dogpool to choose between 'Live action or Anime.' Nicepool was dubbed by Koyasu Takehito, who voiced Deadpool in an exclusive Marvel anime. Thus, Nicepool gently taps the 4th wall and says "Be sure to watch the anime."
When Johnny says "when we fight each other, we lose", at first, it reinforced my thought that he was Captain America, because it sounds like something he would have said due to his experiences in Civil War.
Something i noticed about the Peterpool appearance is that the pools say that every Deadpool has a peter....in The comics, deadpool always has had some form of fondness towards peter (parker) Personally i think that might tease a peter parker / deadpool relationship of some sort in the future of the MCU.
Despite all the easter egg love that this movie had to offer, I will forever say that this movie was about redemption for all the characters from Fox studios. When Gambit says "II can make a name for myself here" and "tell everyone what happened here today" is really what the movie was all about for me. Not only does it play as a reminder and a glimpse of what we could have had with Channing, despite all the criticisms he had when announced as Gambit, but it also played to the fact that despite issues with the Fox movies, the actors did great jobs and from a nostalgia pov, will always have a place in our hearts. This movie was fantastic on so many levels!
My favourite details is how little deadpool uses guns in this film. With his first fight with wolverine the guns are slashed pretty quickly so Wade uses his swords, then goes the whole movie up until he takes nicepools guns, then throws them away literally seconds in to the fight
1:09:21 Only Logan and Cassandra touch a nerve, which makes Wade feel hurt. Such a nice detail from the film. And a huge comeback for Hugh Jackman as The Wolverine as a character.
@eavoss. I have a theory!!! What if Fox X-Men Universe is different Universe i.e. Universe 1081; then Deadpool Universe which is Universe 10005 as shown in Deadpool & Wolverine. Logan movie is also part of 10005. Logan was supposed to happpen in year 2029 but as Deadpool saved Venessa by changing Timeline; events of Logan happened around 2018-2019 in new Timeline. If we ignore the Cameo of Young cast of X-Men from Deadpool 2 by thinking that it just happend in Deadpool's mind. As we know from Logan movie that Mutants started dying due to some chemicals injected in crops, thus we can see no other X-Men in X Mansion & that is why Collosus wanted to recruit Deadpool to team as shown in 1st movie. Due to lack of Mutants, Francis started creating his own Mutant Force shown in Deadpool 1. Between Deadpool 1 & Deadpool 2; the seizures of Prof. Xaviers might took place and that is why they abandoned X-Mansion. To Protect other mutants. Thus Logan died in 2019 in new timeline, so when DP goes to find his body in 2024, there are only bones remaining as 5 years has past so muscles & other organs got decayed.
My theory on how Cable's Time Travel device got him to the sacred timeline is just following your timeline backward to the LAST POINT before 10005 and the Sacred Timeline diverged from one another, and from that point you can just follow the other branch forward from that point.
Technically it's already clear the time travel device CAN jump timelines, since it technically did do so during the montage (how else could Deadpool find his alternate to kill off)
I can’t remember where, but I saw that in an interview, Ryan Reynolds was talking about Dogpool and said the goggles magnifying Dogpool’s eyes were inspired by him watching a movie with his kid. While he didn’t say it outright, it sounded like he was inspired by Bobble from the Tinkerbelll movies
14:25 I never realized this fact. It’s makes the whole movie funnier to think it probably could have ended an hour earlier if Deadpool wasn’t being petty and called the dude Ajax
33:59 red, green and blue (RGB) is a colour mode of Graphic Design for the high definition and rendered photos and videos...!!! So I think the robot is now watching all in billions of colours through that colour mode in all reality.😊
1:15:36 guys it’s the Benatar not the Milano. The Milano was destroyed in volume 2. This is the Benatar which the Guardians had during infinity war, endgame, and love and thunder. It has the most appearances out of their three ships. Then they switch to the Bowie for the holiday special and volume 3
FYI, in DP&W, the version of "Angel of the Morning" is the original version, not the Juice Newton version (which was in the original Deadpool). The Newton version is a cover -- more well-known than the original by Merrilee Rush & The Turnarounds (which IS on the DP&W soundtrack).
It’s very clear Ryan Reynolds is doing an impression of Chris during the Furiosa speech he inflicts as if he is Aussie in his speech. It’s more than just a reference to the voice actor. Ryan is clearly doing an impression of Chris.
Deadpool using the sentinel foot is also a reference to the Deadpool game where he used that to get around closer to the end of the game which also involved the X-men

He lost his hammer to Storm 😔
