I’ve always loved the looks of this watch. It’s been in my cart a few times. I’d love to see the new GMT colors incorporated into a 3 hander. I have no use for a GMT.
Palette of colors (and design overall) on the is watch is outstanding. I agree 100% on the 3-hander version. I think this is going to be a classic Islander design.

I think this is a very handsome watch. I agree with you about needing larger markers at the 9, 12 and 3 position having greater differentiation between the hour and minute hand for greater legibility. I am not a dive watch guy, I live and work in the desert south west. I wear watches for purpose: Mudman, Musmaster Sandman?

I too like that contrasting color on the gmt hand. I’d get used to telling the time from that alone. 11:00 that’s great how it hits the marks and how the second hand sweeps through the shape on the indices like a precision instrument.
I picked up the charcoal Port Jeff, non gmt, recently for 292$. To me, that was a steal for the watch. I'm not a fan of the bracelet either so I swapped it out with a crown and buckle chevron noble that elevates it to another level. Also, I've been getting about 5spd fast over multiple days with crown side up with the 9015. I'm impressed at the overall package. 🤙
Marc has some great watches. Being from NY (yes , my name is “Pawl”), I’ve been to a few of the watch namesakes. Port Jefferson is a quaint little town. If you went to Mark’s review of this watch you could probably make your suggestions there. I think he’s pretty good on replying.
I can't help but say "Pawl"....it's the fullest way to say Paul. I've communicated with Mark a few times albeit for a faulty strap keeper...he is AWESOME about replying and making things right.

This is one of my favorites from Islander too! I love the classic look of those tuning fork indices.
They are something else. I try not to get too excited when I see a watch for the first time. This one got me.
