Hi - I would suggest putting some hooks on the back of the bedroom door for hanging the semi-dirty clothes etc. Also hooks in the hallway near Shaun's closet - you can hang your current coat, purse etc. I have found hooks help with the temporary pile :-) You can hang the stuff directly on the hooks or on a hanger on the hooks. Love the lights in the closet !

I cleared out on closet and I have the coat and dress closet to go. What helped me was trying on the clothes so I know what is staying and what can donate. During this time with soooo many losing work I feel good about donating.

I get rid off the shoe boxes and purchase storage bins for sneakers and shoes add a fabric softener sheet to smell good and it fits three pairs of my hubby sneakers and five pairs of mines. I have small feet but the bins keep the leather and fabric of the shoes from dry rotting.
Normal living, then we need a kick in the pants to get going. We have 1 closet about the size of the entrance closet for 5 people in a very old bungalow. They didn’t have even a quarter of the clothes we have now which equals one small closet.
I grew up in that area and always took my stuff to that Goodwill; always very jarring when you see on video places you know very well/associate with childhood!
Loved watching y’all organize. I always get practical ideas....those large command hooks! Also, I realized I had shelf dividers that I got from the container store years ago. I love them! Just realized I haven’t seen them since I moved into this apartment. I wonder where they are?🤔
Omg that goodwill that’s near the Schomburg😃my NY neighbors😄My room looks the same +++ some and it’s only me. Thank you so much for showing real apartment living👏🏼 folks on the tube be having these “perfect” spaces. Not a slob but I ain’t cleaning 24/7 I live in my spaces.

Yes they do! They come with a magnetic strip that attaches to the wall and the light attaches to the strip, so it's very easy to take down! They lasted about 3 months before they needed a charge.
