I posted a how to spend your coins guide over a year and 3 months ago, and ever since then it has been my highest performing video by a LONG SHOT... Funnily enough, I made one before that video which didn't do as well, but needless to say both of them are super outdated...
I'd also like to mention how rubbish the editing is on those videos and it just pained me to watch, so here's a brand new, fully updated how to spend your coins GUIDE so you can be the absolute best Skyblock player you can possibly be!

Forgot to fix this during editing, but "the entire thing" at 7:48 refers to Floor 5 dungeon runs. Basically, I was able to do F5 as a catacombs 13 player in full reinforced (the reforge) skeleton master armour and a Hurricane Bow. Hopefully that clears up minor confusion haha

There's the *Thaumagurist* and the *Power Stones* now.
@@thedawner6311 "Reforge Accordingly" means to use the right power stones. That's why I said "tune them accordingly" as well.
How do u do f5 as Cata 13 isn't the req Cata 14

@@jeffrey6364 Nah, the requirements are a new addition. Back when F5 was just released (and F6 + 7 didn't exist), there were no requirements. I run F5 often back then when it was new.
so maxing my jerry sword is always going to be the correct choice. thanks

But it is!! I've had a joke comment like this already, but I'll give my response again. The fact that your friend spent so many millions on a 'useless item' is worth it because it's funny and it's entertaining. That sentimental value cannot be bought with a maxed mining setup or a maxed dungeon setup, only a stupid item like a rogue sword can :p

Very useful items:
1. Healing items (such as wand of atonement)
2. Livid dagger is the best for its price
3. Tiger (op for dmg)
4. Baby yeti (can carry you through dungeons with low cata)(ofc wand of atonement is required)
5. Wither cloak sword. Useful for dungeons and some slayers. Also it's used for maxing campfire god badge.
6. Not an item, but hotm 6/7 is really good.
7. Some backpacks. Also i don't recommend using enderchest for expensive items. (It can be wiped, because admins are drunk)
8. At least cheap setups for every aspect of the game
Lion is better if you have first strike, combo, or triple strike
@@sameritani lion is more situational and it is for single hit damage while tiger is better for dps if you're doing bosses and slayers

Thank you for this. As a mid-late game player who has progressed in a similar way demonstrated in this video, I can vouch that playing in a well rounded way makes the game SO much more fulfilling.
I’ve been literally stuck in mid game for so long and im still struggling for a Hyperion. I can see this video as the perfect advice for me rn since my fishing and foraging and alchemy r still 20 😅

You really have to do these type of videos, it really suits your channel and you know how to do em. Really good video
Yeah guides are quite good but they're really not sustainable. I could go into so many details on what's good/not good for my channel but to save you the boring bits, guides are great in "moderation", and I'll populate the majority of my videos with specifically planned highlights. As good as these videos do I can't just mass produce them every week and I also don't want my whole channel being focused around giving tips, because believe it or not, I'm actually really bad at it...
The only reason I can make this video is because they're questions I actually have the answers to, but generally speaking, I know just as much as the average late game player does
The editing is so good, the tips are very good, all and all one of the best skyblock "tutorials" I've seen. +1 sub here!
So true! the games set up so the individual can make money the way they like most, so instead of telling the player “what they like most”, it makes much more sense to tell them all the possibilities and let them decide.
This is the most truthful and useful guide ever! Thanks so much for making it. All other guides on youtube clickbait you and then catch your attention with “get rich quick” schemes.

Ok for the dungeon carry section the reason why I got carried through dungeons is because I absolutely hate running dungeons but needed necron for a thing that really helped me progress but in general I agree with you

Dungeon Carry’s are sometimes less about using an item rather about speeding up leveling up and getting dungeon xp

One this I learned about the AOTD is that the dragon rage ability not only shreds in dungeons, but with the enemies that are immune to its damage, having the thunder lord or thunder bolt enchantment on the sword with still by activated by hitting the boss with both melee attacks and the dragon rage ability. 100% suggest the AOTD until you can afford something significantly better
aotd ability damages all mobs, just some don't take the knockback, imo it's a good weapon even on f5
@@lool-zn4ov there are mobs that are immune I just died to a scarf from f5 blood room bcs my mage aotd was doing 0 dmg... I was trying aote mage damage since is so high outside dungeons
@@totovaretardslap7986 i remember playing mage with aotd and it used to work, just kb didn't apply to stronger mobs, but full damage was being dealt, i think i even used it on f6 for a while and it was still somewhat viable
almost everything is immune to the ability though

6:10 this is 100% relatable. I got ratted and had to lowball for 3 months to get back 1B coins, but my damage with terminator is almost 10x worse than it used to be despite me having combat 47 and Cata 34

Good vid I just started a 2 weeks ago and I was doing really good until I got stuck and I didn’t really know what to do to get better so I just grinded dungeons and spent like 3 mil of rewards but I think I will start spending some more on my minion for more profit so thx for the help
I have infact made the early game dungeon mistake myselves, I was a poor tank for a while until I got a necron's handle really early into doing f7
now instead of investing into mining, I literally just bought everything I was missing at the time, now hoping for another handle for a hype
if I would of put that money into mining for example, I would probably be closer to the hype by now than I am currently, but I just can't make myself powder grind and I find f7 a lot more fun to do in longer sessions than powder grinding

From my experience, powder grinding wasn't that bad. I did it for a week 6h per day, and I still feel it wasn't so terrible, even in the moment.
Tbh I find driving to work more fun than powder grinding & mining in general.

“There is never an incorrect purchase” A while back I maxed out a shadow fury for 54m, got banned the next day because my account was compromised, came back after four months and sold the shadow fury for 22m. I’m too good at the game.

So another thing i see newer players struggling with is wondering where to find or how to get accessories. I think a vid about accessories would help the new player base a ton not sure if you have already but i always see in my lobbys new players asking how and where to find accessories. Good vid always love them keep it up.

Thank you for telling me what I was doing wrong. Played for 1.5 years and am still in wise dragon because I never got talismans and fairy souls. I would also like to mention the fact that my aotd is better than a spirit sceptre...
I think honestly the best way to make money, is the max out your favorite grinds. For example if you love mining, farming, dungeons, max out that because at the end of the day games are made to be fun not optimized.
Also i remember leaving a comment on that original video that looks kinda hateful now, so sorry about that haha

5:00 Dungeon carries saves a LOT of time. When i start a new profile (Which i like to do every couple months) I will get carries all the way to floor 6, grind that out as a tank, get F7 comp carry, and the carries will at this point already have saved me at least a couple days.
7:00 You should realistically head into dungeons at around combat 20+ with a 150m+ networth(That is if you DON'T want to waste your time)
@@RandoTheFandango imo its worth it to just grind out the 330 hours of mining to get a hypermaxed m7 arch setup (2 terms etc etc) before you start dungeons

would like to add on, play into your strengths for sure. if you don't like dungeons, don't do them. The amazing part about mining for me was you didn't really have to increase your other skills to benefit from higher fortune or pristine, and that's how i ended up being mining 54, combat 27, and catacombs 5. I just went over the 1 billion networth milestone thanks to farming as well. Have fun with the game.

btw if you want a decent 20-50k dmg berz set up you can use skeleton soldier boots legging and chestplate with bonzo mask and use adaptive blade.

Oh hey i found this video really cool but i wanted to know what texture pack you use and how would i go about installing it?
i just started up again i used to play just before dungeons dropped so i got alot to learn but i think ima stick to minions an manual farm for now
I invested so much into minions now like over 80 million and in the past year I got it all back minions are very useful
I used to somewhat ignore this kind of information because for talismans i used to use DUPLICATES of honed shark teeth ones until i saw a guide and a bunch of youtubers that has different talismans and not a single duplicate so i tried that and that's why my talismans never worked and i had like 20 magic power i also did try to get shadow assassin and try to do all the end game stuff without fairy souls foraging combat and dungeoneering skills so i struggled on f3 and now i can solo S+ f3 because i focused on permanent upgrades slayers foraging and combat more and i can tank f5 with reaper mask perfect t12 chestplate and 2/4 sa legs and boots and i literally dont have to use my ult for livid tanking

you don't need dungeon carries up until f7. getting an f7 carry is basically required(?) unless your party is really nice or you're really high cata, 3/4 sa and golden necron head isn't really gonna cut it for f7 because you're incredibly squishy

I always spend my first 100M on my money setup. For example if my first money making setup is farmin', i always focus on farming and trying to get max setup as i can

With an e blade u may want to keep ur coins even if u could use them to buy upgrades ( or with g drag / dungeon money )
thats gonna do basically almost nothing since you're gonna need like a ton of money for em blades to be effective, and you'd rather just reinvest them into maxed skills and accessories (like what the video told to do) and you're gonna see way more impact from it.
7:31 thats what i like about ironman because you cant really go to dungeons unless you have good skills/fairy souls and stuff like that and you probably wont so like i want to get full wise dragon armor and while ill get it i will get tons of combat xp for example if i want money ill grind alot for the items it takes to get alot of money from mining and get tons of mining exp etc.
while normal profiles are like get 20 mil in 2 hours from ah flipping buy all the stuff you need and go into dungeons with 0 skills and other things then grind your way up and do some more ah flipping and there you got full necron armor with skill avg of 0(its sarcasm because not very realistic to be that bad at the game but still like i have a normal acc where i had full necron(sold it) also i have shadow fury and almost 500 mil nw i think but my skill avg is 28 and i think when i was doing dungeons it probably was 25 at the time. while my ironman dont have full wise dragon and my weapon is aote i still have skill avg 29 and alot of my skills are better like taming/mining/foraging/enchanting.)

I was able to progress in dungeons in unstable dragon armor and a aurora staff until f4 then got carried for 500k coins to do f4 and f5 bc i had got a livid dagger from someone for 3m lol
I'd say, f4 carries are the only useful ones, f4 can be and probably is to most people pretty confusing. In my opinon, the admins should swap f4 and f5 bossfights and tweak the health a bit. So f4 (health wise) is harder than f5 in the bossfight

The best way to progress in Skyblock is playing it to have fun. You won't make progress if you have already quit the game because it's not enjoyable. Grind coins in the most enjoyable way, not the most efficient way. Level the skills you find enjoyable.

Good editing in the video, however I have to strongly disagree with 2 things you said.
1) It's pretty disingenuous to say "once you get 1 booster cookie you won't need to buy anymore" since it's quite the opposite. Once you taste the magic of 1 booster cookie you will literally not be able to play anymore without one. Same with God pots
2) Buying ONE dungeon carry to be able to use a higher armor set is meta and has been for quite some time. As far as people paying millions to get carried over and over on a floor they are not ready for, well that keeps the carry discord economies going brrr so let those nons ig.
I think for the booster cookies, he meant that the one cookie you bought will provide for all other cookies if you spend your bits right. That would mean that you would still need to buy the cookies, but the money isn’t coming from your work anymore and instead from bits, so the rest of the cookies after that aren’t necessarily bought as much as they are given to you by the first cookie you bought. That said, I don’t 100% know how this bits thing works since I don’t use cookies, but that’s my interpretation.
i once invested in farming but it’s only make me like 300-500k per harvest so i changed to mining, with 200m coins boost from being offline for a year, it’s helped me to get almost maxed divan gear, only missing a few stuffs, i was lazy lately again but still it was a good investment for long term profit
So basically get to combat lvl 24 to unlock crimson isle and buy ragnarok axe that is worth 400k and same if not above stats of a livid dagger and it will multiply your strength by 2x and not to mention the mage weapons added for mages in crimson isle that are worth 1m less like aurora staff at 600k and ragnarok axe at 400k to 500k and much much more

My thoughts are very simple, which do you think is better for you? Do you like having a super strong helmet that's versatile out of dungeons? Would you prefer recombed talismans that translate well both in and out of dungeons? Do you think the warden helmet has a cool skin, and hence, you want to use that instead? Just ask yourself some questions and see which one feels right for you and go with that. You're in control of your own game, do as you wish :)
