I'll never understand this at all frankly. When you're ready for wither armour and have the stats to use it properly, you'll also have the stats to get a F7 completion without it. Assuming I continued the profile, I would've inevitably purchased some wither sets, but I didn't need to get a carry to use the armour to then beat the floor. If you can't beat the floor with previous upgrades, you're simply just not ready to be using the new gear (wither armour in this case)

cata carries made a lot sense back then when the juju bow wasn’t locked behind voidgloom lvl 5, you can quite literally brute force your way through f7 with a necron jujubow setup without the stats to back it up
Something I did yesterday really opened my eyes to underused weapons, I'd actually dropped a scythe blade on my grind to Rev 8 during Aatrox. Decided to use it to craft a Reaper Scythe, and turns out that it does nearly as much damage as my old Shadow Fury, which I sold, made 70m. Some weapons, although underused and may not have the best stats, are still very good. I also felt the ability for Shadow Fury annoying, and thought that the use of the Reaper Scythe's ability was of more use to me. I then spent the remainder of my money on my slime minion setup, a booster cookie (first in a while, have a high fame rank cuz i used to use them a lot) and am currently awaiting rates for both. TLDR: Sometimes cheaper weapons (unconventional) are nearly as good/better than more expensive (mainline) weapons, and you may want to sell expensive weapons and upgrade minions and stuff.

Honestly I bought a carry to go from Enderman slayer 3 to 4. The reason is I wanted final destination armor and getting the remaining 600 xp with tier 2s (i could do them consistently) was a chore. It was a huge time saver since I could continue doing T2 while also upgrading my armor. Also huge thanks for the skyblock guide part. I wasn’t doing any museum unlocks since I didn’t know what to put, same goes for minions. The guide is a good way to show me what I should get.
Not really. I wanted to have the juju bow and I bought carries. I have it and now I'm enjoying it. I didnt buy but got free f5 carries and now me and my mate always do f5. We still can't do it alone tho but were close to do it.
I’m gonna start investing into my accessory bag soon but since it’s aatrox I’ve been grinding t3 emans so I can get lvl 6 for atomsplit. Then I can make money through carries which I can put into my accessory bag. At around 800 mp, I plan on buying a terminator since it’s not needed as I’m true bers, but it will be extremely helpful in getting me into good parties when my perm isn’t online.
for me, carries were a life saver. for about 1k hours i didn't know what to do, i had less than 400m nw, switch entire sets to something else just cause i wanted to try it, got bored in some days so i switched back (losing millions) Then rift came out, really liked it, and decided to get a Terminator, since it's the bow I've always wanted, grinded berberies till i was top 20, got 700m for term, 200m for carries and did 102 t4 eman carries in about a week. Then grinded F7 till i had a hyperion. Next i wanted an ender dragon pet, a dark claymore and a golden dragon. So i decided to get both (GD later) at the same time, got carried to M7, bought the dark claymore, and grinded ghosts to upgrade my epic edrag to lvl 100 and then legendary. Did that and continued grinding for gdrag. Carries were what started my grind, now i have 1900(ish) hours, and +8B nw more than before. They're a tool if you know how to use them
As someone that moved to ironman because I found carry's and overall using auction house or a bazaar a waste of time for myself, even though people makes millions out of them, I have strictly forbidden myself from making use of that kind of content, since I find it like ruining the whole experience, I come here to say thank you. I cannot express the feeling I get how many times I've seen someone get carried to x thing and them still not being capable of the stuff they were told with said gear unlocked, I know so much people with term and stuff unable to do M2+, simply because they lack cata xp (cata 28) I also don't know how this happend, but I have this one friend that wanted to try sky block, and he thought asking people from the community for advice was a good idea (high lvl's 200-300), apparently, these people don't even know the most basic stuff in the game, for example he asked them what he should go for after unstable, they told him strong, he was rather disgusted with the result of swapping for that kind of armor set since it was close to no improvement, in the same day he asked me if he should, I told him that yeah, he might deal more damage but that it wouldn't be worth it, with that money he could've gotten at least 100 mp and gained the same if not more for less and permanent, he did not hear me. This is a message to every single skyblock player seeking for advice, most players have done the same as you, therefor know the same as you probably and won't tell you what actually is the best. My advice? Just play the fucking game the way you feel like, just seek for advice if you don't know what to do, feel stucked and can't find a proper solution to your problem, just for a second opinion btw.
My skyblock philosophy is only upgrade if I can make the money back quickly, and don’t do marginal upgrades unless they’re cheap or will pay back quickly
The issue with Skyblock, like other grindy games, is that you need to play with the Wiki open on the other screen (or a video). Its why channels like this are popular. The game is familiar because its built off minecraft, but so unintuitive that a new player can become overwhelmed or demoralized very quickly
I see these videos all the time and I’m like I don’t want to know what I should do to progress but really what not to do. And now that I’m here I see him say there is a guide 😭😭 where was this like a year ago
I love the fact that you said that it's ok to make mistakes. I've bought fb armor for my daily combat needs, but I was fked up when I tried to do eman slayers (cause pet lock) . So I decided to buy superior drag armor just for the slayer. It rly slows down my progression, but I still think I've made the right decision.
As a person who's main money making method is carrying people I'm offended that there was basically a whole session about telling people not to buy carries lmfao
this is a great video! i have been a fan of your videos for a while, but not always agreed with you opinions. anyway, this video stated many good tips, but i do disagree with one thing, getting carried to enderman 5 for juju is a good idea, not doing it yourself, but, getting carried to juju with >500mp is a bad idea. another thing, you mentioned at one point you were going to eventually update your armor guide, and i hope you mention crimson armor, which is cracked, great video and keep up the good work!
I certainly will mention kuudra sets in my armour guide, but I'm waiting on Primal dragon (and all the end update content) to be released before I do, just in case prices change around a little too much. As for your juju carry point, I find it interesting you view things that way. I too agree that you shouldn't have a juju with under 500MP, but if you have over 500MP, why would you even need to get carried at all? The armour and weapons you would currently have at 500MP is more than enough to take down T2s and T3s (source: I did this myself on the chaos profile), and it also gives you that boss experience so you can keep progressing with the slayer without having to break the bank in the process. You're welcome to believe what you wish of course, I just find it bizarre that you think carries are worth even if you're well and truly geared up for what you're trying to obtain, because that kind of just ruins the fun
@@iamstoopid1395 I believe it's only 40 t2s until you get the gear for T3, and then it's 40 more T3s until juju. All in all the grind is less than 4 hours and you learn quite a lot regarding game mechanics, so I'd say it's worth. I had a lot of fun with it too, not sure where you got "I didn't enjoy it" from
@@ModernSoldier ye you have a point you do learn a lot about eman, just the thing was I couldn't even do a t3 without final des, so I did t1s to final des and then t2s to juju, I had like 500ish mp and decent armor, so that's why it wasn't fun, I think I was just skill issueing tho.
@@iamstoopid1395 Yeah just seems like you didn't get the tech down. I have a juju requirements guide that covers the easiest way to get the requirements for the cheapest setup cost with examples
I’d say that buying eman carries for term wouldn’t be holding you back because say if you can’t kill a t4 you would have to kill around 1000 t3s and at that point it would take you months.
one thing he didnt said but i bought it recently is the abiphone (max tier) it makes to much easier to do alot of things since it can hold many nps like maxwell, the queen, and even maddox.
i made most of my ntw with slayer carries (t3 enderman, now i do t4) i higly suggest to invest in a enderman setup once you get to lvl 170-200 (depends on your stats), you can make easy coins (when i say invest i mean at least 300m)
Great video again keep it up If u can please make some videos for ironman profile or if u have any recommended latest ironman guides by other creators mention it below thanks
I probably won't cover ironman profiles because the demand for that content isn't nearly as high as regular profiles unfortunately. They would add a significant amount of time to my production process as is for little gain
the guide can be good but it is still quite outdated for example the garden doesn't even exist in the guide, only things that have to do with farming is farming level and anitas shop upgrades thats it for farming according to the guide. it is just missing a lot of things. i calculated that if i would finish the entire guide i would be around the same level that i already am on my main profile. so yes it can be good but you shouldn't really rely on it too much until it gets updated to actually include everything.
i got cata 19 and bought a carry for f6 completion to get the gs, some ppl were saying that I'm too weak to get it to work but I'd rather have it now and work my way up the gear sticking to that gs for a while than having to play the game with a livid dagger (ik sf exists but gs is more future proof and i had money)
I believe this is actually my 5th, it's just that the last 3 have actually performed well. I like to do it every year or so to add in any new features (such as the skyblock guides, museum, pet tweaks, etc) since a lot of new players pick up my videos and haven't seen the old stuff. Even then, it's better to watch updated videos that provide more accurate content than ones that are only partially correct
Is it just me, or that this guy who makes things for skyblock advice affect real life? I mean with the saving the money part, buying permanent upgrades instead of temporary ones (most of the time), and that you should be independent with your problems.

fun fact the game never told you that they included a guide in the skyblock menue.... this is the first time hearing that there was a guide XD i literally teached many things myself till now and thought why is there no guide for beginners included in skyblock XD btw carries is a bit harsh to say no carries at all... if you just want to kill the wold slayer boss sven on slayer difficulty 4 to get faster to slayer 3 or 4 to be able to use the slayer phone so taht you don't have to run back to get a new quest is a little thing where i say a carrie that only helps you to get this is okay.... bcz you grinded all the other things. most of the time you start a slayer boss as a low lvl skyblock player and the high end players accidentally kill that boss bcz of their aoe attacks XD so is this also considered getting carried?
Wait what? You can upgrade the bank? WHERE? HOW??? THE HELL??? It doesn't show on google or in the bank itself on how to upgrade it.... Oh well, whatever =-=

How….
Me who just gave away a pure blue dye to someone for 20m:
THIS GUY MADE AN INTRO THATS EXACTLY 1MIN LONG
these vids are edited so well ITS CRAZY
you mom fat
A new set of armor or new weapon is easily worth it considering you can just sell it once you upgrade again
i made most of my ntw with slayer carries (t3 enderman, now i do t4)
i higly suggest to invest in a enderman setup once you get to lvl 170-200 (depends on your stats), you can make easy coins (when i say invest i mean at least 300m)
In average how much do t4. carries make an hour?
Me watching this video after spending all my life savings to so I can have a different color on my armor:🤡
I love watching these as an ironman
/Guide command for the win, I didn't about this. As an almost skills maxed out player Idk what to do sometimes. This will definetly help
but also sometimes you wwant the player to make mistakes with the money, this is so you can learn how to use the money and learn from the mistakes
that /guide feature needs to be much more front and center
discouraging: when a friend get smth better than you while you dont have
I recommend just going for what seems logical to do
the best thing you can do on hypixel skyblock is quit
Real
Great video again keep it up
If u can please make some videos for ironman profile or if u have any recommended latest ironman guides by other creators mention it below
thanks
I probably won't cover ironman profiles because the demand for that content isn't nearly as high as regular profiles unfortunately. They would add a significant amount of time to my production process as is for little gain

Oh ok. No worries just wanted to ask you. Keep your content going I will be watching every video which interests me 👍
The only acceptable carry is T2 Eman.
The difficulty jump makes it justified.
This game helped me stop edging because of how much time it takes out of me life 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Bro you are a really good editor. I wish to be like you
and if dont want to join a discord server you can add the bot to your own server
the guide can be good but it is still quite outdated for example the garden doesn't even exist in the guide, only things that have to do with farming is farming level and anitas shop upgrades thats it for farming according to the guide. it is just missing a lot of things. i calculated that if i would finish the entire guide i would be around the same level that i already am on my main profile. so yes it can be good but you shouldn't really rely on it too much until it gets updated to actually include everything.
I just invented 44m into an f6 mage set up (spirit scepter, wither goggles, 3/4 necromancer lord) but i only have 200 mp.
How cooked am i
Bro... you should change the title. It should be something like "A guide to skyblock progression" because that is what it is.
Bro is just describing me :sob: ty for the encouragement tho❤
Me who invested in snow minions a year ago 🗿
i got cata 19 and bought a carry for f6 completion to get the gs, some ppl were saying that I'm too weak to get it to work but I'd rather have it now and work my way up the gear sticking to that gs for a while than having to play the game with a livid dagger (ik sf exists but gs is more future proof and i had money)
You know gs isn't worth it, right?
Hey at first nice Vids Keep going
Can u Tell me what Mods and Texturpacks you Use for hp and how i get them ^^ Thx
I have now added meow rune to hyperion and lucky dyed my shadow assassin
thank you for advice
me, who just came back from a 5 month leave, instantly bought legion 5 fb and juju with necron head, sold my best minion upgrades for random shit
WHAT IS THAT SHADER HEHHHH LOOKS SO GOOD
I'm watching this knowing I'm too poor to even buy anything
Now you can come back to this video when you actually do have coins then :)
its the third time u upload this type of video
Ok?
People like me still need it lol
when is he gonna talk about crimson and aurora armor.
I am laughing so hard 2:30 because I dropped 50m into a signature edition aotj
Me who just keeps feeding my pastry addiction 🗿
Chad reckless spender vs Virgin rich guy
Btw how do you get the sexy textures?
I need 160 million coins to put perfect jasper's I think on my fermentos armor as well as I'd say an extra 300 million on all 10 farming tools
Booster cookies, whilst good, are pretty much worthless to me since i don't play enough to justify their price
even after watching a ton of video about this mode im still damn lost omg
I would love this man to make a terraria progression guide.
He would be absolutely puzzled as soon as he starts talking abt summoner
@@daniyalchowdhury60 Random early game jank --> obsidian/bee armour --> spider armour --> hallowed armour --> spooky/tiki --> stardust
Weapons are a case of "just pick anything that does summon damage and seems to work well enough"
Summon main I see
5 years grinding enough for hype Or 5 years grinding dungeons for the drop?
Dropped a wither scroll on my 4th s+ run with 300m nw and legit dont know what to do thx modern
every time I try to progress as fast as I can (ex. 1b or so nw in 150 hours) I get wiped and banned. So I feel like theres no winning and all I can do is just learn a new skill, make money then say bye bye to it all. I don't hack (otherwise why would I be saying this lol) they just target me or smth I'm not even sure, and I haven't gotten PERMA BANNED
fun fact the game never told you that they included a guide in the skyblock menue....
this is the first time hearing that there was a guide XD
i literally teached many things myself till now and thought why is there no guide for beginners included in skyblock XD
btw carries is a bit harsh to say no carries at all... if you just want to kill the wold slayer boss sven on slayer difficulty 4 to get faster to slayer 3 or 4 to be able to use the slayer phone so taht you don't have to run back to get a new quest is a little thing where i say a carrie that only helps you to get this is okay.... bcz you grinded all the other things.
most of the time you start a slayer boss as a low lvl skyblock player and the high end players accidentally kill that boss bcz of their aoe attacks XD
so is this also considered getting carried?
Wait what? You can upgrade the bank? WHERE? HOW??? THE HELL???
It doesn't show on google or in the bank itself on how to upgrade it.... Oh well, whatever =-=
