- Mining is by far the best and most consistent money making method in Hypixel Skyblock, but a couple recent changes made it so much easier to get into and completely changed the money making meta. This video should go through everything you need to know to get started, as well as everything you need to know as an endgame miner.

CORRECTIONS
Rhys can accept 30 of the same type of enchanted material as well as accepting 10 of any 3 enchanted material. Either works.
Hot Stuff (Heated Reforge) is the highest mining speed reforge in the game when in the crystal hollows, and is also pretty much the best reforge for very late game mining as it can offer up to 500 mining speed, whilst still providing a better mining speed boost than Fleet up to around Y=100.

I think more of these guides would be good, by mainly updating the out of date guides, and I would personally like a guide to the sjyblock mods like which ones to use, how to download them safely, and how to use the in game, because im seeing all these big UA-camrs use these mods but I don't now how to safely get them because I don't want to get a virus on my computer plus I use a Mac computer so if you can explain hot to download the mods of both types I would love that

Some things I wanna say:
For getting to mining 12 for dwarven mines faster, you can mine sand in mushroom desert.
At hotm 3, you could hunt structure chests for a lot of powder at that stage, however as a new player it's probably not worth it since you don't know the chest locations and how to navigate.
You also need decent combat stats for the mobs in crystal hollows, more than the end. Also ores in hollows don't need smelting touch and have extra base drops, so they are good for grinding collections (especially coal and redstone)
The rift has an item than can upgrade mining tool's breaking power by 1. Might be worth getting (and honestly you should play rift pretty early since you can get good items there).
There's also the pristine enchant for mining tools, unlocked in gemstone collection without too much effort. Or buy it from bazaar. Apply some level of it pretty early on.
Yog armor needs 150k hardstone collection which easily takes over 5 painful hours to get (10h if you wanna craft it). Grinding yogs for mining speed also takes overly long. If you got the means, just get sorrow armor after glacite.
In hotm you can get mole perk after efficient miner, which is a major shortcut. Also increase peak of the mountain to 5 almost asap (save some for the other perks to not lose their effect), the stuff you get is very useful.
I recommend to look up a guide for mining xp too, you get fortune from mining level and it is a fast way to level up pets. Also look up what kind of mining upgrades there are, like getting jaderalds and drill parts (but those are pretty late in the mining progression). Think if very expensive stuff will realistically even pay off for you. There might also be more thorough guides on nucleus runs.
In conclusion: mining progression is a hassle, it takes a lot of time and requires active attention. With farming you can get to like 10m coins per hour with a fraction of the effort and cost (but please don't macro it).

@@az1202 not having mole perk yet cuz I assumed you wouldn't have hotm 6 when considering getting yog armor the first time. I know because extreme bingo had people get the armor.
However I considered getting the amount needed to CRAFT the armor, which is nearly double of collection requirement, so instamining without mole perk takes more realistically 5-6 active hours. Imma correct that.
did you really compare 10m/h farming to 50+m/h mining? They don't come close to profit.
great video! A few key notes: armadillo mining is the best with a route which is known now as hybrid dillo and this is better than the aforementioned structure since you can choose the type of gemstones and you dont need to find a lobby. Second, its important to mention magma fields gemstones i.e. amber/amethyst which is arguably the best method without having to use dillo. Great vid tho!
For breaking power 7 you can also use a polarvoid book, they're really cheap and give +50 mining speed per, the first one also upgrades your breaking power by 1

Tip: For commissions, always mine the outer mithril blocks as they take less time to break (Gray stained clay and wool)
even if you didnt know before this you would realize in like 0.1 seconds of mining so your tip is useless

SkyBlock holds such a special place in my heart, my dog would cry every time he wasn’t in my lap so I would play with him sitting with me, we had to put him down on monday but this video is bringing back so many good memories thank you.

As an Ironman this is the most helpful guide I've found, I never know about efficient miner or how relatively little an upgrade Divan's was and will definitely have to keep all this in mind

I remember when i was attempting to scatha grind, thebmole perk had some very unique behaviour at very high levels. particularly when mining to the west, it would creat an offshoot tunnel that doesn't affect the main 2x1 tunnel. I was still able to spawn worms and scathas using this but i have a curse known as skill issue.
so if you want to go scatha grinding, you can do it at the bottom, but make sure you mainly mine to the west for that extra proc chance every 30 sec.

You can buy structure off of other people (Mining cult duscord has some good routes and sells the structures).Also Jasper Mining with a Bal in the Magma Fuelds is by far the best Mining method.

If you are getting into mining after doing other skills then you can skip a lot of early progression by using a pickonimbus until hotm 6 and enchanting it with efficiency (fortune if cry hallows (hotm exp is now equal for cry hallows and dwarven mines)) after you get hotm 6 you can get gemstone gauntlet (cheap for how op it is)

on the topic of getting BP7 for gems in early CH progression, using a polarvoid book on a titanium pickaxe is a super strong option for ironman if you have the rift progression, since it doesnt really cost anything at all with how cheap the tita pick is. you do need a decent amount of grand exp bottles or bits though for rift progression
Polarvoid only works on Drills though :(

Just wanted to say, if you give Rhys 10 of any material, you can simply do /hub to give him the same material again. As a Ironman it’s best to mine lapis, because it drops a lot and is low danger for earlygame players and with that big it’s way easier

Actually you can also find a lobby with a lot of spots to grind the commissions nearby, have 3 comm slots and just don't do the crystal collector comm, you can do most comms in 0.45-2min that way it's ~30k HotM XP/h

1:15 A tip for Rhys is giving him 3x 10 enchanted Redstone, after you give him 10 switch lobbies and you will be able to give him 10 again, and then do it again for 30 and he'll let you in. This is a strat for Bingo to get into the mines within 30 minutes
Tip for Armadillo: Placing cobblestone as your platform will make it so your dillo wont break it, so dont use hardstone

another thing to add to why ruby is prob the best gemstone to mine is that after you get the recipe for gemstone gauntlet, u can create those and sell them to get even more profit rather than selling the gems to bz

you can just give 10 ench lapis to the npc for hotm 3 times by switching lobbies, especially good for bingo since lapis is the fastest

Mining is so much easier getting into compared to before. Also for early game mining it is the easiest to get mining 12 from sand and you can just mine lapis or redstone and swap lobby after giving your enchanted items.
red stone would probably be best just for collection for the accessory bags, can't remember lapis collection
hybrid dillo for me is great cause i cant consistently mine for a long time without it being very annoying ( also u dont need to search for the structures to use dillo on you can just always use a dillo route that are public and do the same)

When poweder mining, you should put your mithril powder into seasoned mineman as you don't need the powder for anything else. it isnt much but it is pretty good considering its basically free
idk if this still works but apparently, you can give 3x 10 enchanted of THE SAME ORE instead of 3 different, just give 10, swap lobbies and give again. so technically you can literally just chop trees with a smelting touch axe, craft charcoal into enchanted coal, and get it

2 mistakes in part 1
First getting the mining levels just mine sand with an efficiency 2 gold shovel
Considering all you need is a few exp bottles a gold ingot and 2 sticks you could probably afford it from less than minute of wheat in the hub.
Then when mining 12 you can use 3 of the same material by lobby swapping
If done well enough then you could be in dwarven mines in like 1-2 hours even if ironman or bingo
I was kinda expwcting a mediocore gzide wich misses alot, but damn this is actually good for early game mining
i try to make sure everything is as accurate and useful as possible - maybe you'll have better expectations for my future guides now? :D

If you have enough gemstone blocks to mine, efficient miner is actually good. The extra blocks can't have pristine, but they still drop the normal amount, then you mine the next blocks. But it's understandable you probably won't have enough blocks around to do that.

you can actually just give 30 enchanted lapis to rhys and u'll be able to access dwarven mines as long as you have mining 12, all u need to do is reset the lobby every time u give 10 ench lapis to him and it should work!
