    Hi John & Miriam, congratulations on your Spyderversary. It is great to see people like you and Miriam representing the Can Am Spyder community. Tracy and I always answer questions about the Spyder to those who ask and sometimes I can go into details a little bit more than they want to know. 😅 But I love my Spyder and I want everyone to know they too can have fun on a Spyder. It will be 3 yrs in July when we got our Spyder and a big yes (It was worth it)
    Thanks again for another great video.
    Ryde safe and God Bless
    Artie & Tracy

    Yes, it is worth it!! I've only had mine for one year and it's been great! Riding has brought me more joy than I thought it would and discovering places and roads I had never seen before. Meeting with other riders has been a lot of fun and discovering channels like yours has made the experience even better! So yeah, totally worth it!

    I used to be a service writer back in the late 70’s. I can state they are only as good as the technicians that they work with. The tech can make the whole process easy or hard depending upon skill sets.
    It is a coordinated event by everyone involved and if you have one portion that is looking for some extra grease then that portion won’t be around long.

    We have a 2018 F3 LTD with the same system as yours. I don't think I have ever heard the compressor cycle, but I know it is working because I can feel it adjusting when we climb on board. Glad no work was required prior to your trip! BTW we got to meet Sterling and Eva on our trip to Bisbee a week ago

    Happy anniversary!🎉 I am glad to hear about your airbag. Knowing what I know about the spyder would I buy it again? In an heartbeat I am just sorry I didn't do it earlier. Live life to the fullest.

    Congratulations on your anniversary! So jealous that you're getting to ride. Sold the house in VA, rode the Spyder to NC for storage and living with family in FL while house building is done. So many Spyders in this area. ☹️
    Looking forward to your trip!

      Dan! We were in Florida last month and I saw more Spyders there than any other state we've been in...aside from the rally in Missouri 😁

    Hey John & Miriam,
    I just want to say how much I have appreciated your content over the past couple of years. Last year I bought a Sea to Sky and a SunLite Excel motorcycle camper. I rode from South Carolina to South Dakota, Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado before heading back home. It was an adventure of a lifetime! Thanks for the inspiration to get on 3 wheels and see America🙏
    PS, I grew up in Chesapeake & all my family still lives in the Tidewater area. Perhaps we’ll cross paths some day when I’m home for a visit.

    You are right by saying it allows you to add extra enjoyment to your days together, our Spyder has allowed us to experience travel to Washington DC, Lake George NY and future adventures. It's an expensive toy and cost a lot to fix or maintain no doubt about it. The age demographics make two wheels harder to balance, lift and drive, so 3 wheels keeps us in the wind. "Is It Worth It" ? Yes overall.

    Is the Can-Am Spyder worth it. Unequivocally, YES! You have to weigh initial cost versus what you plan to do with the Spyder. I personally do not like the later Spyder designs. I'll stick with my 2016 until I decide not to ryde anymore. I am 76 now so probably not beyond 80.

    I pick up my first bike this Wednesday, a new 2022 Spyder RTL, partly inspired by your videos. Can’t wait to maybe join you guys on one of your meetups in the future.

    I look forward to all your videos and really enjoy the content and story telling. Looks like you both have a lot of fun in your travels. Your adventures cover all aspects of motorcycling around the country and now into Canada. Your a lucky man to be able to team up with your wife on your trips. Keep up the great work and travel safety in everywhere you go.

    Miriam & John, forgive me that I haven't watch as many of your videos, as I should have. I've been a subscribers for few years now.
    I watch a lotta videos in the winter months, but very few in the spring, summer or autumn. I'm a Friend of Jody's and She suggested I watch more of your videos, so here I am. Hee hee Actually, I featured You Two in a video of mine from 2-years ago. Rather then have you search for that video, I will tell you it's my PART 2.! Hint hint.

    Am I correct the can am place you took your bike to is also an Indian dealership? My dealer, a BRP dealer is also an Indian motorcycle dealership.

    Does your airbag/Center strut cycle more when both of you are riding? Or does it act the same when only the driver is onboard.
    I ask because I suspect you may be experiencing these symptoms because doubling puts the bike into a near max load capacity which outs excess pressure on the Center strut system.

    Hi John, I have a 2014 Spyder Limited also. Would you mind sharing what it WOULD have cost you? My air pump seems to be running more than it used to, and it seems a bit louder when it does run. I am worried about the cost to repair, and am curious what your neck of the woods would have charged you? I am in PA. If I end up taking mine in for a quote I will reply here so everyone knows but I was hoping to get a comparison of rates since we have the same 3-wheeled beast. Thanks! :)

    • @JohnMiriamsTravelVlog
      @JohnMiriamsTravelVlog  Рік тому

      Never got the quote but air bag itself is $300, with about $700 labor (guessing based on fuel pump cost )

    • @JohnMiriamsTravelVlog

    I want a limited very bad...but Sadly dealerships are far and far between....BRP known for poor service..over priced Parts and labor...mechanics are scarce...😢😢😢

    • @JohnMiriamsTravelVlog
      @JohnMiriamsTravelVlog  Рік тому

      As to the service and part, that has not been my experience. Mechanics: most of the work one can do at home for free.
